Das Essen war mittelmäßig, die Preise unrealistisch hoch. Wir wurden wie in einem Fünf-Sterne-Restaurant behandelt.

Sehr gutes, authentisches indisches Essen. Die Thalis sind hier unbedingt zu probieren, egal ob vegetarisch oder nicht. Der Service war ebenfalls lobenswert.

Ich war absolut begeistert! Das Essen war voller authentischer indischer Aromen, besonders das Thali schmeckte wie zu Hause. Ich hatte Hühnersuppe und Dal Thadak bestellt – beides war wirklich köstlich. Der Service war durchweg herzlich, schnell und sehr aufmerksam. Der Besitzer ist sehr freundlich. Sauberes Ambiente, hervorragende Qualität und faire Preise. Definitiv eines der besten indischen Restaurants in München! Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder! ☺️☺️

Das Thali war extrem scharf 🌶️. Selbst für einen Inder war es zu viel, vollgepackt mit schwarzem und rotem Pfeffer. Ich konnte es nicht aufessen. 🥵 Mein Mund brannte wie Feuer 🔥.

Ein gemütliches familiengeführtes Restaurant. Das Essen ist authentisch, super lecker & wird heiß serviert. Die Tomatensuppe ist ein Traum und die Currys sind super gewürzt. Ein kleines Juwel

Wir waren schon mehrmals in diesem Restaurant, seit etwa 10 Jahren, seitdem wir es entdeckt haben. Leider hat sich die Qualität in letzter Zeit sehr verschlechtert. Der Service war unfreundlich und wir fühlten uns nicht willkommen. Besonders enttäuschend war, dass wir über eine halbe Stunde auf die Bezahlung warten mussten, was viel zu lang ist. Das Essen selbst war nur durchschnittlich und im Vergleich zum Preis eindeutig überteuert. Insgesamt können wir diesen Ort aktuell nicht mehr empfehlen.

Ein bisschen teuer und das Butter Chicken war irgendwie süß.

Sehr gutes indisches Essen. Auch viele vegetarische Gerichte zur Auswahl. Freundliche Bedienung. Kommen immer wieder gerne zum Essen in dieses Restaurant.

Das Essen war im Großen und Ganzen lecker, hätte aber etwas schärfer sein können. (Es war weniger scharf als das indische Essen, das ich in Indien gegessen habe.) Das Naan war nicht fluffig, sondern ziemlich flach. Das Restaurant war geräumig und hatte sogar einen separaten Raum für Feiern.

Das beste indische Restaurant in ganz Haidhausen! Wir komme hier seit Jahren regelmäßig her. Das Essen ist wirklich lecker und der Service freundlich und nett. Auch zum Abholen gut geeignet.

I placed an order for pickup via the website and paid online. When I went to the store, I was told that the system had malfunctioned and my order hadn't been received. I explained that I had already paid via PayPal and would like to receive my food. The employee told me, however, that I would have to pay again and that I would receive a refund of the original amount via PayPal the following day. The refund never arrived; instead, the amount was debited from my bank account. When I returned to the store, I was told that they couldn't give me a cash refund and that the transaction wasn't visible in the system. I was also told that I would "still get the money" and that they would contact me sometime during the week. The staff's response on-site was extremely rude and uncooperative, giving me the impression that they didn't want to take any responsibility for the incident. I only received my money back after reporting the incident to PayPal.

The water-to-juice ratio is excellent. There's almost no flashing.

Because the food tastes so good, I used to order from there regularly. To save on Lieferando fees, I was asked to order through the Delhi Palace website, which was a mistake! I ordered, paid, and then waited 1.5 hours before receiving my food, apparently due to website problems. They then told me to pay again in cash as a precaution and get a refund from my bank. Unfortunately, that was my last time ordering from there.

Authentic food, lovely atmosphere, and excellent service. We were a group of 11 people, and they stayed open late especially for us. The food was served to everyone at the same time and tasted delicious. Highly recommended!

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I went to the Indian restaurant today and it was absolutely fantastic! The food was incredibly delicious, the spices were perfectly balanced, and everything was fresh. The drinks were also excellent and complemented the meal perfectly. I especially want to commend the friendly waiter, who made the evening even more enjoyable. I highly recommend it!

We ate there. The chairs are uncomfortable, too high, and the tables are high. I couldn't sit for very long. The ambiance is very basic. The food was salty, and the portions were small. The price was okay, though. It was fine once, but I wouldn't come back.

I usually refrain from writing negative reviews. But: Unfortunately, the food here was—there's no other way to put it—really bad. I lived in India for a long time and don't expect authentic food in Germany, but the fried onions on the rice and "slimy okra" were truly the height of unappetizing... What a shame!

A truly fantastic Indian restaurant with a harmonious, cozy atmosphere. The butter chicken was outstanding, one of the best versions I've ever eaten! You can taste the quality and attention to detail. The service was very friendly, attentive, and warm. I'll definitely be back, including with my family—we might even celebrate our next birthday here. Highly recommended!

We tried indian veg thali and non veg thali. The food was not good from india standard, probably any standard and very costly. They charged 6 euro for a bottle of water. There was a party going on so it was quite noisy. The restaurant was empty except the party in the other room. I am giving 1 star for service also only because when I enquired about the price of water the service guy causally said it would be 5,90 or so not sure. As if 5,90 euro is nothing for a bottle of water. You selling a hardly 1.5 euro water bottle for 6 and you don't bother tell the price before hand. Overall the experience was very bad, below average taste for a high price. I would not recommend anyone.

Was delicious! But be careful, spicy is really spicy. But it's not a problem because the waitress asked how spicy it should be. She then recommended me medium, which was really spicy but I could eat it well.

For us the best Indian in and around Munich. Every time the meal has been a poem.

I’ve ordered from here many times, and it’s my favorite Indian restaurant in the area. I usually get the Shabsie Masala and my partner order gets the the chefs special. The naan is always super good. Highly recommend, the owner is also really nice

Location is nice. Very calm place, atmosphere is good. Based on reviews I visited this place for dinner. Ordered Veg Thali. The lady asked me to make it spicy to enjoy the taste. But the food was below expectations and didn't enjoyed. Everything was too much oily. Not sure how they got the reviews.

This Indian restaurant is simply awesome! The vegan dishes are super delicious, totally diverse and perfectly seasoned - you can tell that the cooking here is made with heart. The service there is very friendly and everyone makes you feel at home straight away. And the prices? Absolutely fair, especially for the quality. If you like Indian food (or want to try it), you definitely have to go here.

I had dinner at Delhi Palace on a Wednesday evening and I really enjoyed the experience. The atmosphere is relaxing and quiet, the space is big and the staff is extremely kind and always ready to satisfy our needs. The menu offers a wide variety of dishes, including vegetarian options. It is the best Indian food I have ever eaten in Munich. I highly recommend it. Thank you for the lovely evening!

If I could give this place a 0 I would, it was by far the worst Indian food I’ve ever tasted. I ordered the chicken tikka masala which was tasteless and light pink because of how much cream they put into the curry, plus the chicken was over cooked and chewy. In addition, the server gave us 1 little plate of rice for 3 adults to share and charged us for additional rice. I understand if we wanted more rice than our fair share but the serving was only enough rice for 1 person. I love Indian food immensely, but the curry, appetizers, and service was terrible, not to mention expensive. Very disappointing.

Been there twice. I really enjoy the quiet and rich atmosphere. The food served is high quality and fresh. I have tried their veg and non-veg thalis which are more than enough for a person. Their drinks are also fresh. The service is personal with customization. Definitely going again.

I regularly order from Delhi Palace (via Lieferando). This is my go-to place when I don't want to cook. The taste and freshness of the food is among the best of the Indian restaurants in Munich that I have tried. The owner is a friendly lady and the staff that I have spoken to when I've gone into the restaurant are also friendly and a joy to interact with. I highly recommend this to anyone who enjoys North Indian food.

Delhi Palace was recommended to us by Indian friends as authentically Indian. It tasted delicious and was cheap too. We'll definitely come back.

Very cozy Indian restaurant. The food tastes excellent. It is very flavorful. The restaurant was decorated very nicely. You feel comfortable in the restaurant. At the end you get a delicious drink as a gift. I would give the restaurant more stars than is allowed here. The prices are also ok for Munich. There are many different types of dishes and there is also enough to choose from for vegetarians. We will be back

Ordered shrimp from the clay oven. These were completely burnt, so really black and absolutely dry. After complaining, they said I should have said that straight away, as I was asked at the beginning if everything was okay. The waiter was very rude and insulted me. When I didn't know what to do anymore, I asked a man at the next table if he thought the food was burnt. He couldn't even tell it was shrimp. He said, are they champions? I said, they are shrimp, he said, yes, but they are burnt. But that didn't strengthen the staff. So I'll definitely never go there again

Ordered food to pick up. Super friendly welcome in the restaurant and even a 0.5 liter Ben & Jerry's sundae on top as a small gift! Wow. Then do the taste test at home – really tasty.

Really good cuisine! The location on the thoroughfare and the inconspicuous facade do not do the Delhi Palace justice. The cooking here is good and some of the dishes have their own unique touch. The family business is friendly, the service is very friendly but reserved. If you wish, you can also get the dishes authentically spicy 🌶️ We'd love to come back! Tip: Order a thali dish on your first visit and be surprised by the cuisine.

We come here often and find the food very tasty and very fresh. Highly recommended.

The three of us ate there for the first time. So far we have only ever driven past it. The ambience was cozy, clean and tidy. The staff very friendly and attentive. As a (starter) starter there was a little gift on the house. The dishes were fresh and lovingly seasoned. At the end there was also a round of mango liqueur from the host. The prices were not overpriced for Haidhausen. We felt we were in really good hands there and will definitely come back more often in the future or pick up food. We were pleasantly surprised.

My wife and I always enjoy eating here because the restaurant offers a great selection of vegan dishes, most of which we have already tried and we have never been disappointed. We always really enjoyed the food. If you want, there is even a menu with exclusively vegan dishes (see photo). The service is very good, attentive and personable and the ambience is what you would expect in an Indian restaurant. In addition, the price-performance ratio here is really good because the portions are big enough.

I ordered there for the first time today. Butter chicken and a naan with lamb. The delivery didn't arrive for an hour and after a discussion on the phone I was told to go down and get the food instead of having it delivered to me. Did not like it. The food was still quite good. Annoying though, I don't think I'll order again.

Ordered two dishes and both were unmistakably sweet- as if sugar was added. Add to that the usual culprit invading every Indian restaurant in Munich- Cream. It was ok and we received it hot, so I’d give it 3 stars. If you’re into real authentic Indian food, look elsewhere.

We've been ordering here for a few years but it's getting worse and worse. Today was a big hit for New Year's Eve - the naan was half raw on the dough, mango chicken was ordered and there was everything except mango, the sauce was totally varnished and without any taste or not at all , what it should actually taste like...far too spicy, not edible. It was probably the last time we would order here!
