food was good, but not great. the chaat was cold and the paneer was too spicy, but it was still tasty. improvements in the food could make this place five stars. the service was good.

I really liked the place, vibe, aesthetic and the service. Rocky bhai was really nice and the old ghazals just made everything better. For Indians who like to eat something which type of feels like home this place is a perfect match.

Very tasty food and good service

It was the most flavorful butter chicken curry I've ever had. The servers are very friendly and the restaurant atmosphere is clean and classy. Above all, it was not noisy inside, so it was comfortable to talk and eat.

This is the place to be for Indian food in Munich. Fantastic food, great service, and great vibes. Will surely be back.

I was more than thrilled with my visit to this Indian restaurant. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, and the food was simply amazing - authentic, fresh and full of flavor. I would particularly like to highlight Abhi who provided exceptional service. Abhi was friendly, attentive and made sure we didn't lack for anything. His recommendations were excellent and you could tell he really cared about the guests' well-being. He made our visit an unforgettable experience! If you love Indian food, you should definitely visit this restaurant. It definitely wasn't my last visit!

Best Indian food in Munich. Specially Chicken tikka Masala...

When describing this place, I don't know where to start. The food, the staff, the decorations, it was all magnificent. No wonder 1,4 billion people live in a country with a kitchen as rich as the Indian one. But to maintain its authenticity, that is perhaps the most astonishing aspect of the uniqueness of Royal India. What Bollywood does with films, this restaurant does with food. There is no need to travel to India any longer, just travel to Munich and experience the Indian kitchen like never before.

Food and service are amazing! This is my 2nd time here. On my first trip, I mentioned that it could have been spicier, and they remembered me and made it very spicy this time... Indian very, very spicy and it did not disappoint! I loved every bite!! Definitely recommend eating here.

When you hear about a restaurant in London on Netflix, you expect something special. ("Darjeeling Express" - Unfortunately it wasn't.) However, if you then go to Royal India, then what there is in Royal India is impressive! The finest cuisine & perfectly coordinated. Of course, as always with Indians, the portions are rather generous, but that doesn't detract from the experience. Here's to another... 15 - 20 years? 🙏👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

The food here was truly exceptional. We ordered Samosa Chana Chaat, Paneer Jalfrezi (served with rice), Parantha and Garlic Naan. Would highly recommend Paneer Jalfrezi and Parantha. However, the unexpected charge for water left a sour note. It's a small detail, but one that detracted from the overall experience. Would recommend getting your own hydration or confirming first.

the tastiest Samosa Chaat in Munich!

Price-performance was okay for lunch. There were three of us there and we ordered three different dishes. All were OK but not special. The spicy dish was young spicy Hbf there was no fresh chili... For lunch you can check it but it wasn't that convincing.

One night I was complaining to a friend how I miss that north indian taste when I go eat out at Indian places and then he brought me Royal India. As I entered inside with little hope of getting anything near my expectations, I began my order by complaining to the server that how butter chicken everywhere in Europe is just too sweet and it's nowhere near what you get at the place who invented the damn dish in the city where I grew up. My server totally agreed with me and said if I had time to spare he can bring me what I want. I stretched my luck a bit and then asked if I could get tandoori chicken legs in my butter chicken instead of the chicken breast what it usually comes with and the way dish is really served in India. They certainly gave me exactly what I wanted. It was surely one of my best experiences of eating butter chicken in Munich. From that day almost 1 year ago now I have been going to this just to eat that one dish one hear desires it, I always wait a bit more for it to be prepared. I have tried other dishes here they all have been good as I always explain what I want and they always serve me that. I haven't received such great service in any other place in the city. If you're reading this please ask for Anil Ji there and tell him exactly what you want and he will oblige you. I try to go at odd times so they have enough time to indulge my requests which tend to be off the menu also.

If you are eating Pakistani/Indian food for the first time then you would like it. The lamb meat was well cooked and tender but there was no taste in the meat. It gives the feeling that meat and curry was cooked separately. The grill platter was too good. The spice combination of tenderness was good. The serving was amazing, people were friendly and polite. The garlic naan was also good 👍🏼. The special ice-cream was good. (It depends upon your liking) The Ice has a combination of 3 flavours, pistachios, mango and one more (don't remember). The mango was bitter but I liked it. Starter was a samosa chat and it was really good. This restaurant was lacking in real curry taste except it was good. The restaurant has good indoor and outdoor seating. The vast variety of food options were there but they were missing a true desi food aroma and taste. #Halal
