When I came to Munich, I chose to eat Indian food. As someone who doesn’t know much about Indian food, I unexpectedly found it very suitable for Asian tastes. The highlight is that it’s very delicious, the meat is very tender, and the Indian pancakes are soft in texture. If you dip them in their curry, you can’t stop eating them. Come down, the rice is also delicious. If you don't know what to order, you can choose their platter. If you see three chili peppers in it, it is a little spicy for Asians. If you want to eat something spicy when you come, you can come here. In the end, I overate and was very full. Remember to remind everyone to order some beer and eat and drink together. You won't regret it.

Best Indian restaurant in Munich!

I got tired of eating pork trotters when I came to Germany, so I accidentally discovered that this Indian restaurant is delicious. The Indian red curry is very spicy and delicious. The meat on the barbecue plate is grilled just right, which is great! It is highly recommended that if you are near Munich, you can give it a try, the CP is worth a thumbs up! ! Remember to pair it with beer! !

I can’t believe my taste buds still remember the food here after two years since my visit to Oktoberfest in 2022. Royal India rocks. The manager there is very accommodating. Food is simply aromatic and absolutely flavorful. Portions are generous and spice levels are more Indian than German. We tried pretty much everything in the menu for those 5 days in Munich. My favorites were the tandoori and the Biriyani. The other day we tried veg Biriyani only to observe day of vegan and that veg biriyani too was mind boggling. We stayed at nearest Hilton Garden Inn and this was walkable distance. And we loved every bit of my dining experience here.

Chai tea was hot and strong. Perfect. Thr take out containers are well sealed and transported to my hotel easy. The mutton Vindaloo was terrific and the Naan was well made. I will definitely return.

I was looking for a good Indian restaurant and found it here. Varied menu, food is really delicious, the mango coconut cream sauce was just right: creamy, not too sweet. In addition, the price-performance ratio was right, I was more than full. About the ambience: I sat outside in nice weather. The only disadvantage is the pedestrian traffic as the outdoor area is on the sidewalk.

Our favorite restaurant in München! My husband and I eat here every weekend! Simply spectacular! The dishes are very delicious! My favorites are: Chicken Tikka Masala, Mutton Palak, Matter Paneer, Fisch Masala… the garlic bread (Naan) is a must try! Highly recommended!

A brilliant Indian cuisine restaurant! Best Mango Lassi I had in Munich and that was at least 6 other Indian restaurants. I'm a fan of the Butter Chicken and the Chicken Biryani. They are brilliantly seasoned! And on the second visit I sat outside in a beautiful bar. Service very friendly!

We had our dinner at the Royal India restaurant today. The taste is authentic Indian and we enjoyed the same very much. Rockey bhai (Satnam Singh) was very polite and friendly and it was very good to know his and his family’s long association in this field. I wish all the best to them and their family. A very nice Indian restaurant off the touristic center. The food was very nice, tasty and plentiful. The staff was nice and service was very good. Prices are very reasonable. The restaurant will not blow you out, so wouldn't go there especially, but if you're in the neighborhood and fancy some good Indian food, go for it.

Finally something original, exceptional quality cuisine (regional Indian cuisine) and unapologetic Indian food in Munich. The food was exceptional and the service was superb. 1 had the chicken tikka which was flavorful and chicken was juicy, on the bone was a highlight dish. The spices, the texture of the dish and the meat are not commonly found in Indian restaurants in Europe. The waiters described the dish in detail, and checked up on us after each dish was consumed. The proprietors are passionate about food, and exceptionally friendly. Highly recommend the place and looking forward to their success.

Authentic Indian restaurant with a good variety of dishes and a daily lunch menu. Staff was very friendly, service quick, prices around average for the area. Food quality was just OK though, the taste rather mediocre. Otherweise a clean and tidy place that can get busy.

A great meal. We had the Samosa Chaat, Butter chicken, Lamb Nilgiri (grilled lamb with spinach in coconut, mint, coriander in a medium hot sauce) and a garlic naan. All the food was very good - my wife knows her way around a butter chicken said it was creamy and exceptionally tasty and the lamb was tender. The samosa chaat did not come as I expected - there was no pastry (see photo) and I am not sure if this was just my translation. However it was very tasty and a large portion for a starter.

The chicken starter I was looking forward to couldn't be prepared due to the restaurant's closing time, but the veg starter didn't quite meet expectations. However, the main course, especially the naan and jalfrezi, was delicious. The staff was friendly, adding a positive note to the overall experience.
