We made a reservation for a Friday evening and had to wait a full 45 minutes for some of our friends due to delays in our group. Despite this delay, we were allowed to keep our table the entire time - truly exceptional service! The service was incredibly friendly and made us feel welcome and comfortable from the first moment. The order was taken quickly and the food was served quickly. The starters were great and the main course even exceeded our expectations. Everything was at the highest level in terms of taste and quality! The price-performance ratio is also special - compared to many other restaurants in Berlin, the food here is significantly cheaper, without lacking in quality or taste. Everyone in our group was absolutely satisfied and we can't wait to come back soon. A big thank you and lots of love to the team for this great experience!

I really don't know where the good comments and so many stars come from. The restaurant is well decorated, but has little or nothing to do with Thai cuisine. It looks more like a typical, Germanized Vietnamese restaurant. Anyone looking for authenticity will be disappointed here - there are many places where you can get much better and more authentic food. The location in Prenzlauer Berg should not be a reason to eat here. The service was also disappointing. I was spoken to by a member of staff in an inappropriately stern tone where a polite tone would have been appropriate. I also had the impression that the employees were more accommodating to white customers than to Asian guests - which is particularly irritating since the employees themselves are of Asian origin. Another point that needs to be mentioned critically: only cash payment is possible in the restaurant. One should be careful, as this can unfortunately often be a reason for tax evasion.

I once ordered Pad Thai. Unfortunately that had little to do with Pad Thai. The taste is bland to inedible. It was also too spicy and so I couldn't serve my son the second dish. I threw it away. Pad Thai is never spicy! This is what the chefs should already know about their national dish.

One of my gastro professional friends recommended me this place and I was surprised how good it was! The nicest service, exciting menu and a really good yellow tofu curry with lot of winter vegetables. The atmosphere is also wonderful with every small detail.

This is the best Thai food I have ever eaten in Germany😭😭 The stir-fried beef with water spinach is especially recommended. It is slightly spicy and full of garlic flavor and is very satisfying! The service attitude is also very good and the beer is delicious. I will eat here every time I come to Berlin🫶🫶

We found the restaurant by chance on Google and were absolutely thrilled! Very tasty starters such as summer rolls and spring rolls... with great sauces! Main dishes with meat or tofu, there really is something for everyone. Nice offer also for vegans or gluten-free. We had rice with tofu in coconut milk sauce and rice noodles with tofu in lime chili sauce and duck with two different sauces: coconut and peanut. The portions were very good and everything together was super tasty! Price-performance ratio really good, we ate cheaper than on Usedom or elsewhere on the Baltic Sea coast., the staff was very friendly.. we sat outside, very nice atmosphere, we just really liked it!

It is a very busy restaurant. In summer you can sit outside nicely. There aren't many dishes but the variations offered are absolutely delicious. This is our “regular Thai” here. The homemade teas and lemonades are also delicious. But I recommend making a reservation in advance.

Food was absolutely delicious. The meats were tender, crispy and flavorful. The sauces were perfect compliments leaving you asking for more. I highly recommend coming here. We had six of us and ate family style. Sharing the dishes worked out perfectly. Definitely coming back in the future!

The food is that of a Berlin-typical Thai restaurant. The service is not good, because during our visit we were "left sitting" for a long time until we received the card, we were no longer spoken to in between (e.g. whether we would like another drink) and we also waited a long time for the bill. This is where the biggest point of criticism lies: You can only pay in cash... you just don't know anything and nobody tells you about this area. Then we wouldn't have eaten here either, it simply can't be the case that you won't be able to pay by card in 2024...

Was thoroughly disappointed with the bland food. I ordered the crispy duck red curry on the staff’s recommendation that it was the most spicy & flavourful but it was not just under seasoned but practically lacked any salt. My brother ordered the Pad thai which was some confused version of noodles, edible but definitely not pad thai. I can understand they might be serving to a palate that may not prefer high spice or salt levels but I’ve actually eaten local german food that is way more flavourful than this. They are surrounded by many better thai restaurants in the neighbourhood and with the kind of place it is, really hoped they’d be more of a traditional thai fine dine. Add to that they do only cash which is a bit of a surprise given the kind of place it is.

One of the best restaurants I visited during my trip to Berlin. The food was incredibly good and definitely worth the price, and the service ran like a well-oiled machine. Additionally, the napkins were folded into beautiful lotus flowers. I highly recommend visiting.

Food itself was alright. Dishes were mostly cooked well. However, flavors were a bit toned down for us. We would have preferred more spices and stronger flavor. Execution and presentation of the appetizer spring rolls were lazy. Mango Lassi was tasty. Service was good. When we went the credit card machine was broken so they were only accepting cash.

Food is good, but I really do not appreciate that you cannot pay by card there, and the restaurant exists since years! Why so, in 2024? It is really annoying (I also wonder if this is done for tax reasons? as the dishes are not necessarily cheap) and we have not come to the restaurant many times because we could not be bothered to go to the cash machine.

Not typical Thai food. No card payment possible. Service wasn't attentive. Too long waiting times... Sorry but we won't be coming back. When I brought this up I was insulted and insulted by the woman behind the counter.

The restaurant offers an extremely inviting ambience in a beautifully located corner of Friedrichshain. The staff is very smart and warm and the food was an absolute dream. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who has a taste for a “Thai flavor”.

Nice service and delicious food

The Tai Aroma restaurant is a really great restaurant. Authentic, very good food at the highest level. The portions are generous and what is important, there is “what everyone eats”.. but also very typical food. And delicious tea. Dee Laden is not a kitschy cliché restaurant but really timelessly good. And all the employees are courteous. The food is fresh and even though you're full, you want to eat there again straight away.

We ate Thai food for the first time and everyone loved it. Great service, nice atmosphere, friendly service and a very nice selection of food and drinks. The next time you visit Berlin, Thai Aroma will be at the top again :-)

The staff in the restaurant are very friendly and attentive. The kitchen is open so you can observe the coordinated work of the employees. The appearance of the kitchen is immaculate and they work quickly. It is only possible to pay with PayPal or cash. We didn't find this information on the menu or anywhere in the restaurant.

Food was delicious and pretty high quality, finally some real Thai food The host is super friendly we had overall a very nice dinner Only downside is that we had a late dinner reservation and we were the only people left at 1040pm on a Saturday night were all guests left, including the host and the kitchen is open and they started vacuming and made us feel quite uncomfortable that we had to leave No one asked if we wanted dessert and it was my birthday dinner Anyhow - will come back just not for a 9pm reservation, the crispy duck is definitely calling me back!

Absolutely Fantastic place! Not only is the food flavourful and very balanced but the service is a complete 11/10! I am very picky with my vegetables and once the server noticed I wasn't eating most of my veggies he asked me if I didn't like them. I explained that I only liked the carrots and thought that was it. Shortly after I was brought a small bowl with extra carrots in my dishes sauce! They were so kind making sure I got to enjoy the full balanced meal without me asking. If anyone is looking for a good place to eat I can only recommend this!

Red curry is the one of the most delicious I tried there! The quality of ingredients was on top and the food was served in short time! I do enjoy vegetarian curries and this one was awesome! Spring rolls are great too! The place is suitable for a calm evening, not much buzz!
