We were really dissatisfied and with an overnight price of €130 it should be fine. We wanted to spend 4 days here in peace as a couple. First, and that's what we booked, we moved into a double room in the main building, number 5. Unfortunately, it's right on the street, so it's not so quiet when the window is open, including the kitchen, the bathroom door is totally warped and creaks so loudly, so that Your partner wakes up when you move them at night or early in the morning. Very uncomfortable. Unfortunately, the entire floorboard was full of lint and hair from cleaning. We had this constantly in bed through our socks. The first night was okay, but not quiet as hoped, but the next afternoon was horror. Our roommates moved chairs back and forth for hours or whatever. You could hear every step on the creaking floorboards, every word and noise. We asked for another room. The employee was very understanding and we moved into the barn. Double room between 2 others. That night was okay, but not quiet either, as you could really hear every movement, noises from the next room, the bed creaking and the floorboards creaking. The bathroom window is also completely warped so that you can hear the street through it. The large harvestmen, beetles and cobwebs on the ceiling, windows and behind the curtains could also be removed here. I found it a bit disgusting, even if it was natural. The third evening was already unacceptable and we should have left by then at the latest. Before 11.30 p.m. it was impossible to get any peace and quiet due to the thin walls. You try to make as little noise as possible. This is also tiring and annoying. And on Saturday afternoon the crowning moment, a family celebration including small children, with all the rooms in the barn being rented out. For us, the reason for leaving in no time. It is also clear to me that due to the structure of the building, monument protection, etc., sound insulation, impact noise, etc. is not possible, but we were still not able to relax here. The breakfast is positive. It is very varied, lovingly prepared and tasty. The employee with the dark hair (braid) was also very friendly and understanding regarding the complaint. Based on their reaction, I strongly suspect that we weren't the only ones with this type of complaint. She wanted to tell the owner so we could get our money for this missed night. We will probably wait in vain and somehow I didn't expect anything else. Of course, the entire facility is well laid out and a lot of passion, sweat and money has been invested. Looking back, I regret booking here.

We stayed in the mill overnight for the umpteenth time. Whether the double room or the studio for 4 people is lovingly decorated, as is the entire mill. A place in nature with a very well-kept garden, a beautiful yard right on the water. Ideal for a romantic weekend or a bike trip. The restaurant is furnished in a country house style, which we really like, the food is extremely tasty, beautifully prepared, seasonal and regional. We'll definitely be back!

The rooms on the upper floor of the barn are very noisy, especially if you have the middle room number 8. You can hear almost every conversation from the neighbor and every chair being moved. So I slept badly. There is no mirror over the sink in the bathroom, which makes wet shaving very difficult. Otherwise it is a very nice facility and everything is very well maintained, but if a quiet room is important you shouldn't take a room in the barn.

We felt very comfortable, great accommodation and a delicious dinner in the restaurant. We'll definitely be back.

I've enjoyed eating here many times, I wanted to celebrate an anniversary here yesterday, but for the first time I was a bit disappointed because the staff was quite snippy and there was still biscuit paper left on the chairs from the previous guests. The food was great as always, it would be great if there could be one or two modern non-alcoholic cocktails on the drinks menu in the future, because most of the guests there are traveling by car and don't spend the night in the mill every time.

What a beautiful place to celebrate a wedding, I'm still amazed! The rooms were prepared with a lot of love and the food tasted very good. Thank you very much!

If you like peace and nature, you've come to the right place in Tornow... you can go hiking, go on a bike ride or even take a boat ride... all of which the hotel naturally offers 👌 otherwise that's what I had with the room of satisfied 🤩 food was also good 👍

Ambience The atmosphere was absolutely great and authentic, and the staff was also very accommodating. However, there are a few small deductions when it comes to food. The quality of the meat was absolutely great, but not medium as requested but medium well. What has to be emphasized, however, is that a new piece of steak was offered. The chimichurri was classic and well balanced, as were the fried potatoes. The balsamic vinegar or reduction was inappropriate because it tasted more like a cream and was too sweet. The pike perch was also absolutely great in quality but unfortunately not crispy on the skin side. It seems to be complaining at a high level, but at these prices I expect near perfection.

As always, it was very relaxing. Every time we are amazed at how beautifully the renovation work continues. How much effort you put in. Everything so tasteful. Not to mention the food. Simply great. Everyone is super friendly. Thank you for that.

The first impression is very nice there. We were just guests for coffee. The cake was excellent! The staff very polite. However, if you take a closer look, you unfortunately have to deduct points. The place we chose was a little away from other guests, that was a deliberate choice. The table wasn't cleared, it was dirty, And there was trash on the floor. We ordered a coffee, a latte, and two pieces of cake (recommended) and we received two coffees, both black, with a jug of milk. There is an additional charge of 60ct for milk That seems cheeky to me personally. The lawnmower was roaring next door on a Sunday afternoon and I didn't need that However, a return visit here is in the stars

A beautifully furnished house with a very good restaurant and nice staff. Simply beautiful... an inner courtyard with a river that invites you to linger at any time... we received our coffee request even when the restaurant was closed - TOP! We can very well imagine a repeat visit.

I have been dining here for 4 years and up until yesterday I was always pleased with my experience. My server was the grumpiest, most inhospitable person I have yet to encounter there. I have worked in gastro since most of my life and I felt that as a woman alone I was being snubbed. He was cordial with other diners but with me he made me feel like a huge bother. No friendly greeting upon arrival nor kein nette Abschied. He had a permanent scowl and it I am afraid to go back😔 schade, it was my favorite place to go to in my neighborhood. Maybe he had a bad day, but my rule in gastro is you leave your problems at home. I can spend my hard earned money elsewhere. The food is still excellent.

The plan to spend a five-day short vacation here to go paddling and cycling in the area ended after the first night. The beautifully restored Tornow Mill is located directly on a busy thoroughfare. The not exactly low-priced "barn suite" with meager furnishings (there aren't even bedside tables on the double bed) has single-glazed windows directly onto the street and the passage area to the restaurant garden, so that you have to keep the curtains closed at all times if you don't want to sit on the presentation plate . The very, very clearly audible car traffic prevents any sleep at night, accompanied by the intense creaking of the rock-hard bed. The complex's garden is really nice and you can eat well, but the service is not very friendly - quite the opposite. The overall impression from the staff is that they don't work there voluntarily. Too bad.

Beyond the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The area is so beautifully quiet and embedded in a rural idyll, simply primal romantic. There is so much contented life to be discovered away from the narrow main streets. The lovingly restored mill is in a quiet location and very romantic with its lovingly landscaped courtyard. The kitchen has a lot of delicious things to offer and spoils you with a lot of good taste. Tried a lot and everything was very good, served by very friendly staff. We felt very comfortable.... Thank you for your time. If I had to complain about something, it would be the small nets that can be seen, but they could also be from the fishermen 😅🤭🫣

I had the beef schnitzel. Due to the goodwill of the waitress, I am refraining from rating the dish. Because it really wasn't good. If I come again and the food is better, I will rate it too. What I want to rate here is the ambience of the restaurant. It's really pretty. The small pond and the outdoor terrace invite you to linger. The service does a good job and tries to accommodate the guest. The beer was tasty and the nightcap on the house as well as the removal of the main course from the bill made the experience appropriately straightened out. I can't say anything about the rest of the hotel. See you again soon.

Wonderfully located restaurant on the bike path (the short detour there is definitely worth it). We ate in the garden and really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere in the countryside and by the water. The huge salad was dressed with a very tasty dressing and garnished with mushrooms and bacon. Very excellent carpaccio. I can also recommend the Solianka. Again any time.

A great location right by the stream, with a wonderfully cozy terrace area and a lovingly renovated mill building. We were “only” in the restaurant - so we can't share any experience about the rooms. But the restaurant is great. Attentive service, comfortable seating that tempts you to sit for a long time and really delicious food! Regional, fresh and perfectly prepared!!!! Really highly recommended for a nice trip.

Excellent cuisine. We enjoyed the great restaurant garden on a wonderful summer evening. The pike perch was fried to perfection and the vegetables were crisp and fresh 😋. Everything is beautifully prepared with great attention to detail. We felt good.

Very nice hotel, lovingly restored mill with very good cuisine. But a double bed with a width of 120cm? A chair in the room, a closet of course. Coffee maker is available. It gives the impression that a single room has been upgraded to a double room by adding a second blanket and pillow.

Idyllically located, with a beautiful garden. Rooms in the building next door are good, but quite noisy. Good restaurant, the breakfast (buffet) was also good. Nice personel. An overall nice place with a pleasant atmosphere.

Little detour from the Havel cycle path which was worth it! Very nice atmosphere, the mill has been beautifully restored, the rooms are stylish and comfortably furnished. The garden is magical, you can sit comfortably and the service is wonderful. We also had a delicious meal in the evening. The mill is absolutely recommended.

We haven't tested/used the rooms... However, we have been here several times to eat. It's a pleasant, relaxed atmosphere with very tasty food. We always enjoy coming back....🫠

My husband and I celebrated our dream wedding here! We are still overwhelmed by the perfect celebration. The location is simply beautiful, we and our guests immediately felt at home. There are loving details everywhere and nature shines here in all its splendour. The rooms are lovingly designed and really comfortable. The service the evening before (BBQ) and on the wedding day was outstanding, it took so much stress away from us, which we are just grateful for! The food was consistently delicious, the taste and quality are definitely right here! We are looking forward to visiting the mill again, eating delicious food and enjoying this idyllic spot. Dream wedding in the Tornow mill! My wife and I celebrated our dream wedding at the Tornow mill. Not only were the ambience and rooms so beautiful, but the service, food and organization from start to finish were fantastic. Jenny and Christian must be mentioned here, who stand by and support a bride and groom day and night. At Mühle Tornow you are not only the “next” bride and groom, which brings money into your coffers, but you also have the feeling that you belong to the Mühle Tornow family for this day (or days). Thank you for making our day unforgettable, beautiful and simply perfect for us!

The room was very nice, the house and location are idyllic, as is the garden. Unfortunately the service wasn't all that great. I was only able to place my order when requested, then my starter and warm main course (which of course was cold) were served to me at the same time, for whatever reason. After that I was apparently simply “forgotten”. I hope that the (inherently friendly) staff was just having a bad day and it wasn't due to the fact that I was a woman traveling alone...

A good reason for us to come here since 2017. Delicious food, a wonderful garden. The rooms are romantic, rustic, cozy. Today we were 8 adults and 4 children. The curry was good, the salmon, the burgers. Something for everyone!

The owners of the quarter have cleverly and stylishly “transported” the property’s milling history into its current use. All rooms and the quiet and secluded garden area are fascinating in their connection to the history of the property, overall peace and attention to detail make a stay immediately pleasant. The service is perfect, the process is well organized. A coordinated offer is created for bikers, cyclists and guests with longer stays. The clear menu is pleasantly noticeable, as it offers high-quality food for (almost) all tastes, which shows that real professionals are at work in the kitchen. These points and the optimal starting point to the most beautiful regions of MV make Tornow Mühle a place that you will definitely visit more than once.

Unwillingness to work to the power of 10! We wanted to stop there on a Thursday evening and have dinner. However, this passed us by when it took 15 minutes until we got the cards thrown onto the table carelessly and without being acknowledged. The guests at the next table already had their menus, but no one came to them. We watched it for 10 minutes and then left. Nobody needs shops like that.

A little pearl in this area. Wonderfully restored mill with a romantic garden. Great cuisine without any frills, but of the best quality. Here you can see that a chef works who doesn't want to hide his qualities behind fashion trends, but rather wants to present them openly and in keeping with the region. Cheers!

We made reservations online for dinner. The waitress yesterday was polite and said we were welcome to sit outside. No table was visible that was set and reserved for 3 people. The waiter didn't seem to have any desire for guests at all. Not a kind word, not a smile, nothing. He handed us the cards without a word. After looking at the map we decided to go. I'm happy to pay more, but if the service is so terribly bad that you think the waiter doesn't want to do his job, then I won't leave a cent in this restaurant. It's a shame, because we all loved the atmosphere.

The restaurant is very quietly located on a small river. The old mill has been very tastefully restored, and the mill wheel and millwork have been integrated into the restaurant. The service was quick and friendly, the food was very tasty and above the usual standard. Definitely recommended!

This review refers exclusively to the restaurant! Basically, I like the food and I've been there several times, but in my opinion a price increase of 35% on the already high prices from 2023 to 2024 cannot be justified. I won't eat there again.

What can you say - simply the best restaurant in the region. The highest quality of both the products and the preparation, the best service and a great ambience. Always a pleasure

An old mill that has been converted into a hotel, very nicely located, with a good restaurant. The breakfast and the evening meal were very good. The staff very friendly. Breakfast was wonderful in the beautifully designed outdoor area.

I can't say anything about the food, we left beforehand. We wanted to have a good Christmas and that's why we had a party for 4 people on December 25th. reserved a table. We were already looking forward to the cozy guest room, unfortunately none. They were placed in the dull, dark and draughty entrance area, with the door and constant customer and staff traffic at the back, right next to the busy cupboard with the table linen. When we asked about another seating option, we were told "unfortunately not possible", there were definitely set tables available in the warm dining room. That was our "festive meal", you can't pay for quality and then only deliver what feels like mass production, maybe. You should offer fewer, but adequate, seats. We are disappointed and will not go there again.

We were there with 4 people on December 26th. 23 lunch at the Mill Tornow. Everything was quiet and friendly, despite the full house. We liked the food very much! The service was excellent, these days you rarely receive such a courteous welcome and service! Many thanks to all the hard-working employees! Gladly again!

Unfortunately disappointed. Price-performance not okay. We were there for dinner. The taste is good, but not outstanding. Portions too small and price too high. Unfortunately, the spatial atmosphere was also cool; the furnishings looked like garden furniture. Maybe OK for a cafe, but not for a restaurant visit in the evening.

We stayed at Mühle Tornow for two nights with the family in December. The rooms are nicely decorated and clean, nice historical atmosphere, as in the whole house. The breakfast was nicely prepared and good. In the evenings we were able to convince ourselves of the delicious food with large portions in the restaurant, even if it wasn't exactly cheap. The service was also great and very friendly. Clear recommendation.

We've often eaten something at Mühle Tornow since we don't live far away. We always enjoyed it very much and the selection of dishes was completely sufficient. Service is very nice! We feel very comfortable there every time.

Das Restaurant biete super leckeres Essen, eine Speisekarte, auf der jeder etwas findet. Alles gibt es in einem sehr angenehmen Ambiente. Der Service ist freundlich und kompetent. Erstklassig und unbedingt weiter zu empfehlen.

Leider komplett enttäuscht. Wir sind mit großer Erwartung in das Restaurant gegangen und wollten uns einen schönen Abend machen. Die Bedienung war sehr zurückhalten und machte keinen sympatischen Eindruck. Als Vorspeise haben wir uns das Carpaccio bestellt. Es wurde uns komplett gefroren serviert. Erst einmal kein Problem, wir haben es dem Service gemeldet. So etwas kann passieren. Es wurde abgeholt und erneut servicert... leider immer noch gefroren. Der Hunger trieb es rein. So soll es allerdings nicht sein. Das Schnitzel war lecker, allerdings die Bratkartoffeln lieblos zubereitet. Die größte Enttäuschung für so ein schönes Restaurant, auf der Rechnung wurde das Carpaccio mit über 18€ komplett abgerechnet. Der Service hat sich nur lieblos dafür entschuldigt. Mir wäre es peinlich, das kann nicht euer Anspruch sein. Wenigstens ein Entgegenkommen wäre angebracht gewesen. Leider würde ich nicht noch einmal dort Essen gehen. Schade.

Das Essen war sehr gut ( frisch € aromatisch) und der Service aufmerksam, das Ambiente liebevoll. Alles in allem eine gute Adresse und zum Verdauen lädt der umliegende Wald ein.

Eine absolut geniale Küche, das Essen ist sooooo lecker und die Bediehnung freundlich.Ich und meine Frau können dieses Restaurant nur empfehlen.

Leider waren wir zu Zweit nur Essen. Der Zander und das Gemüse waren „ aufn Punkt“. Beim Salzen der Soße wäre schön, wenn der Koch weniger verliebt. Das Gebäudeensemble, die Hof-Garten-, Beet- Gestaltung lädt zum Verweilen ein.

Das Essen fanden alle grandios, die Location wunderschön renoviert. Die Zimmer für die Optik mega günstig. Wir hatten am Mittwochabend unser Grillbuffet und am Donnerstag die Feier. Ich würde immer wieder dort feiern. Danke an Christian und sein Team für eine perfekte Hochzeit.

Wir waren zu einer Hochzeit dort und neben dem wirklich schönen Anwesen, war das Essen, sehr schmackhaft. Das vegetarische Angebot hat uns nachhaltig überzeugt und das Catering war sehr freundlich! Hier zu feiern hat uns viel Freude bereitet.
