Thessaloniki in Aachen

We come here regularly, and since we always eat with at least 5-10 people, we make reservations in advance. The food is delicious and the portions are generous. The service is friendly, but if the restaurant is very busy, you should relax a bit. Unfortunately, payment is only possible with cash. We look forward to our next visit.

Unfortunately, I was very disappointed. The currywurst was partially raw and therefore inedible. The fries hardly tasted of potatoes either, but rather tasted almost exclusively of old oil. For the price, I expected a lot more. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend it.

Nicely maintained Greek imbiss with restaurant alures. Outdoor terrace with a view of the square. A plus is the nicely maintained dining area that is separated from the invisible take-away service. The separate toilets look modern and clean. The only downside, but that could also be taste-oriented, was the rather strongly spiced Gyros. The tzatziki was rather salty. Friendly service. We will definitely come back here.

Hello I was just a guest at your restaurant And I ordered the following: Baked gyro with small fries in curry sauce and a small Coke... Unfortunately, I didn't find my visit to be that good, especially the service. The waitress ignored me several times, and it took a while for me to pay. I also ordered the fries afterward and had to clearly signal my attention. I might have ordered another drink, but they didn't ask. The guests at the next table even got up to order sauce for their fries. I don't like that. The food was delicious, but I definitely wouldn't come back a second time.

The food was very good and plentiful. The prices were reasonable, and the staff were nice and friendly.

For us, this is the best gyro, with super-high-quality meat and perfectly prepared. The price-performance ratio is highly recommended.

According to the internet it is open until 9:30 p.m. I drove there from Stolberg and entered the store at 9:15 p.m. There was no greeting and after placing my order: gyros with fries, I was told succinctly that we were closed. The restaurant was still busy and gyros were still being cut. This was my last visit. There are other customer-friendly snack bars in Eilendorf.

As a child, I often went there where there was a small snack bar and it just opened. It was always delicious there, today I went there again after more than 20 years. The food was good so far but I let up, the service, well with what's going on there is only one person who is responsible for all the customers, I think it's tough and she's not friendly either. They should have left it as a nice little snack bar when the Kisok closed back then. But overall the food is still delicious

Very interesting shop, you come into the restaurant at 6:30 p.m. and then you are told that you only need a reservation, even though there were still 4 tables available, even half an hour later they were still free. Otherwise it was never a problem and will not be a problem in the future. It's lucky that there are other very good Greeks in Aachen.😜

Delicious food and friendly service.

Unfortunately, the pizza wasn't homemade (frozen level), the pitta was the same, the gyro plate was OK, after the meal there was an ouzo (unfortunately only room temperature), no card payments (no indication of this, I had to go out and organize cash).

Very nice little shop. The food is always very tasty and the staff is always very friendly. The gyros also taste really good, but you have to like it spicy. Otherwise everything always goes quickly and smoothly and the price is right for the services you get. I would love to come back here and will be happy to order there more often!

Today I was there with a colleague and ordered a gyro plate. The meat was delicious and the tzatziki was also excellent. The portion was plenty for the price. The people behind the counter were also very nice.

A really nice snack bar with incredibly friendly staff and excellent gyros. We were impressed by the quality of the food; everything was fresh, tasty and lovingly prepared. The offer was also absolutely fair and reasonable in terms of price. Particularly noteworthy is the first-class service: the service was not only attentive and friendly, but also thoughtful. Here you can find the very best gyros in Aachen and the surrounding area. I've already tested a lot, but nothing comes close to this. Staff always friendly and hardworking.

Had an accident in the parking lot opposite after I went to get the food. An employee came to me and asked if he should remake the food because it was a bit cold by now, which I of course said no. I think it's a shame when you order things and you don't get them...😐 But you pay the full price.. 😡 We've eaten there several times... since they've gotten bigger, things happen... 😡 when you order as a customer you want to get that too... the taste is great... Today I ordered bevteki which was ordered complete with fries and salad and güros over baking. Should be with salt. But only had a salad.😡 But pay full price 26.50 mh.. I've had problems before, too. More people... Make sure you get what you order. The food itself is delicious as always...

I have lived in the immediate vicinity since 2003. At first I used a walker, now I use a wheelchair. The food has been delicious for years, the prices have adjusted. What I appreciate most are the owners and service. Very friendly, very accommodating and very helpful.

It's rare that I write a bad review. But here I make an exception. The gyros are really tasty. We wanted food. Saturday ~ 4:00 p.m. there were many tables free (5), but we were seated with another couple. Reason other tables have to be reserved. OK. Maybe the others will come. I had gyros salad - and asked for onions but they didn't bring them. After the couple left, 5 minutes later new customers were seated at our table even though the other tables were still free (4). A personal conversation was ruled out. The gyros are delicious, but that was the last visit. I've been there many times, but I don't accept something like that. There are also other Greek restaurants / snack bars that have very good gyros and are not more expensive. I have no problem if someone can sit with us AFTER asking. But seat instructions… Sit here! Order! Eat! Can be done, does not have to be.

Very cozy, friendly snack bar. I can especially recommend the pizza. Sometimes better than the Italian. Very well topped and tasty. Everything else is of course also good and the price/performance is also right.

There are definitely better Greeks in the area. The meat could be seasoned/marinated better. But it's okay, you can go out to eat.

The food is very tasty, I have to say, but when I order a schnitzel with fries, I want the fries to be crispy and not in the same compartment as the sauce, the same goes for the gyros, which you prefer to eat crispy brown, and then Zatziki on the meat doesn't work.

Leckeres Essen, sehr guter Service

Extrem leckerer Gyros,bester in Eilendorf mit Abstand.Bedienung stets freundlich auch wenn oft sehr viel los ist.

Wir waren zum 1. Mal hier und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Gyros würzig, lecker und schwamm nicht im Fett. Pommes lecker und knusprig, Mayo sehr gute Konsistenz und ebenfalls lecker. Tzatziki lecker und nicht überwürzt. Krautsalat frisch, nicht zu sauer, nicht überwürzt- perfekt um den Geschmack des Gyros zu unterstützen und nicht zu erschlagen. Personal sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Jederzeit gerne wieder. Einen Punkt Abzug - es war ziemlich laut. Vielleicht lag es auch an der Uhrzeit und dem Wochentag.

5 Sterne Grieche gibt kein besseres Gyros weit und breit.

Im " Thessaloniki" waren mein Mann und ich nun schon zum zweiten Mal essen. Ich war überrascht, dass das Ambiente geschmackvoll und durchaus gemütlich war. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und auf Zack. Obwohl ich eigentlich nicht unbedingt ein Gyros - Fan bin, war ich hier positiv überrascht vom sehr leckeren Fleisch samt Beilagen. Gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Insgesamt alles stimmig und empfehlenswert.

Ich kann euch den Thessaloniki imbiß nur empfehlen,das Fleisch ist einfach super lecker (ich rede vom Gyros) aber auch Schnitzel,Pizzen usw. sind klasse. Wer mal aachen besucht sollte auf jeden Fall ein Abstecher zum Thessaloniki imbiß machen 😉 Man kann sich natürlich auch dort hinsetzten und in gemütlicher Atmosphäre sein Essen genießen 😃 Weiter so Kosta,du und dein Personal seit suuuupiiiiii 😁👍

War heute nach längerem mal wieder dort. Das beste Gyros weit und breit. Bin extra aus Stolberg gekommen. Super lecker. In Stolberg leider nicht. Werde jetzt öfters kommen denn es lohnt sich auf jeden Fall.

Pita sehr fettig das Fleisch, hat sehr nachgelassen . Dafür war ein langes dunkles Haar aus der Pita gewachsen 🤮

Heerlijke (de lekkerste ooit) giros en fantastische prijs! Lekker buiten gezeten.

Ich kenne den Imbiss schon einige Jahre und war noch nie so der Freund von dem Essen. Aufgrund dessen, dass der Stammimbiss zu hatte, fuhr ich mit Freunden notgedrungen zu diesem. Das Brot vom Pita war dezent verbrannt. Fleisch nicht der Burner. Als Notlösung kann man meiner Meinung nach nach hier kommen, aber für mich gibt es bessere Imbisse. Nachtrag: Ich war jetzt noch mal da und uns schmeckte das Essen erneut nicht besonders. Preislich war ich echt ein wenig erschrocken - Gyros komplett OHNE Salat 12,50€, Pita Gyros 7,50€. Einpacken muss man sich, wenn etwas übrig bleibt, es selber und Salz für die Pommes habe ich auf dem Tisch nicht gefunden. Dieses wäre leider nötig gewesen, da die Pommes gefühlt gar nicht gesalzen waren.

Besser geht es nicht! Zuvorkommende, freundliche Bedienung, super leckeres Essen und die Einrichtung lässt einen kurz nach Griechenland reisen. Alles in einem Top, kann man nur empfehlen!

Εγώ που ήξερα την ελληνική κουζίνα δεν είχα καμία σχέση εκεί. όλα τα τρόφιμα ήταν παγωμένα, οι τιμές ήταν υψηλές και ένα ποτήρι νερό από τη βρύση πλήρωσα 2,5 eυρώ Ich war zum ersten Mal dort und es gefällt mir nicht. Ich, der die griechische Küche kannte, hatte dort keinen Bezug. Das gesamte Essen war gefroren, die Preise waren hoch und für ein Glas Leitungswasser habe ich 2,5 Euro bezahlt
