Super delicious gyro and, in my opinion, one of the few truly good currywursts still available in Aachen. We will definitely be eating there again. The prices are moderate and, I think, appropriate for the current and general situation. And maybe some people should consider that it's not just about the meat and fries, but that there's a lot more to it. And if that's really too expensive for me, then I'll just have to make my own gyro.

This is where you can get some of the best gyros in Aachen. No matter what you choose from the menu, everything tastes absolutely delicious. The prices are fair, and you get a commensurate quality that's second to none. The family who owns it is also great. You always receive friendly service, even when it's stressful for them at times. There is one small drawback, though! At Alemannia (Aachen's football club) home games, it can get so crowded that it's better to go during the game or about an hour afterward if you're not a football fan, as fans often gather there, and then you unfortunately won't be able to get a seat.

I'd hate to go back. My companion was yelled at by the landlady, who assumed she was supposed to pay for the use of the restroom as she wasn't a customer.

We found it by chance, as we're from the Wesermarsch region and are only here for the weekend. We absolutely loved the taste and composition of the dishes. We can also highly recommend the service. We'll be back for dinner next year. All in all, highly recommended. Thank you...

On our way back from vacation, we stayed overnight in Aachen. We arrived late; it was already 9 p.m., and we were craving Greek food. We searched Google for a restaurant open until 11 p.m. We found one near Piraeus. We had bifteki and gyros. Both were very good, and the service was genuinely friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere is a cross between a restaurant and a snack bar. We liked it and enjoyed it. Credit card payments are accepted. Fair value for money. If you're looking for good Greek food and are willing to compromise on the ambiance, this is the place for you.

In my opinion, it's way too expensive for a grill or chip shop! I treated myself to a grill or Piraeus plate (see picture). No drink. I picked it up myself (no delivery service, or didn't use it). The food was delicious. I paid €22.70 for what you can see in the picture I've attached (not including any tips). I wonder where Germany will end up if such prices become established in a student-oriented neighborhood where the owner also relies on regular customers! Note: Chip shop is not meant to be derogatory. Since this grill doesn't offer any other side dishes besides fries (at least no rice), the terminology is obvious.

Large portion and simply delicious food.

Since the change of ownership a few weeks ago, things have gone downhill. We've been ordering gyro pita there for years. The meat is an absolute disaster, burnt and barely edible. And we've tested it several times!! There are no tomatoes on it either. If anything, it's "okay." Nothing more. I wouldn't recommend it.

Gyros was "ok", on the overall maybe a little bit too salty. The serving size was also "ok", solid but not plentiful. A 10er for a plate of stuff (gyros, some fries, Tsatsiki, a few sparse onion bits) seems a bit on the high side. Forgot to take pics 😅 It's what I'd call baseline, good decent food, but no high praise otherwise.

Gyros vom echten Griechen... Gyros knusprig und saftig in einem. Die Pommes auch sehr lecker und das Zaziki genial. Hier wird der Spieß noch selbst zusammengebaut. Klasse! Dazu sehr nette Gastgeber (vermutlich Inhaber-Ehepaar) und der obligatorische Ouzo zum Abschied. Es ist für mich fast alles perfekt gewesen. Nur zwei kleine Mankos: 1. Kartenzahlung nicht möglich 2. Parkplätze vor dem Geschäft rar und maximal eine Stunde Parkzeit für 3 Euro - das ist aber nun einmal die Politik der Stadt... PS: Hatte beim ersten Mal kein Foto gemacht. Darum ein zweiter Besuch - diesmal allerdings nur ein "kleines" Gyros Pita...

Ich hatte nur Pommes, aber die waren echt sehr lecker! Echt ein nettes Paar hinter der Theke.

Leckere griechische Gerichte. Zum Mitnehmen alles ok, am Besten telefonisch vorbestellen und dann abholen. Das Ambiente zum Speisen vor Ort ist halt so lala. Aber es ist ja ich kein Restaurant.

Wenn Tradition , Geschmack und Familiäre Atmosphäre in einem Laden zusammen kommen und das Essen dich geschmacklich einfach mal umhaut . Dann ist das der laden . Ich frage den Besitzer wie lange er das hier schon macht . Er sagte 40 Jahre ! Man merkt es , jeder Handgriff sitzt , jedes Stück Fleisch auf den Punkt fertig . Geheimtipp , ist das tzatziki extra Portion lohnt sich !

Einfach Perfekt das Gyros vom selbstgemachten Spieß!

Habe eine Pizza Funghi für 6,90 Euro bestellt und eine Pizza mit einem geschätzten Durchmesser von 21 cm bekommen. Das ist mehr als frech und sollte auf der Karte stehen.

Ursprünglich wollte ich mit einer Freundin im Grill selbst essen, aufgrund der warmen Temperaturen am Tag selbst war das allerdings nicht möglich, da der Imbiss selbst auch kaum belüftet war und es keine Sitzmöglichkeiten draußen vor der Tür gab. Also haben wir das Essen mitgenommen. Die Inhaber schienen ein älteres, sehr freundliches Ehepaar zu sein. Der Imbiss selbst hat einen urig-gemütlichen Eindruck gemacht. Die Preise waren nicht super günstig, aber auch nicht vollkommen überteuert (für ein mit Käse überbackenes Pita mit Salat und Tzatziki haben wir jeweils ca. 10€ bezahlt), die Sachen haben lecker geschmeckt, von daher von mir solide 4 Sterne. (1 Stern Abzug, weil es mich jetzt nicht vollkommen aus den Socken gehauen hat).

Sehr leckeres Essen zu vernünftigen bis sehr guten Preisen. Das Fleisch hat eine spitzenqualität! Service wird hier groß geschrieben. Sehr sympathische Gastgeber. Nur zu empfehlen!!

Für mich das erste und letzte mal. Gyros war nicht durch. Die Fritten sehr fettig, labrig und zum Teil sehr Salzig. Meiner Meinung nach keinen Cent wert.

Schlicht und einfach das beste hausgemachte Gyros in Aachen! Knusprig und gut gewürzt, das Zaziki hat ordentlich Wumms, das Pita-Brot ist ein Traum! Große Portionen, freundlicher Inhaber. Der Laden könnte mal ne Renovierung vertragen aber ich komme knapp ein Mal die Woche her und das nicht wegen der Einrichtung ;) Absolut zu empfehlen!

Les escalopes de porc grillées étaient savoureuses, les frites excellentes et le patron aimable. Bon, le décor n’est pas du dernier raffinement, mais , pour ce prix, on ne peut pas tout avoir.

Good food, friendly owners who are an elderly couple but they can't understand English (which is fair given it's Aachen) which makes it difficult to order or get what you want. If there's another friendly customer who can translate then you're in luck.

Der Geschmack des Essen überzeugt voll und ganz. Dazu gibt es Studentenfreundliche Preise und freundliches Personal. Jeder Zeit einen Besuch wert.

Hatte bis jetzt nur Fritten mit Gyros, Zatziki und Zwiebeln gehabt. Es hat sehr lecker geschmeckt und das Fleisch war auch gut und nicht knorpelig wie es vielleicht bei anderen Läden ist. Das Ambiente des Ladens ist irgendwo in den 90igern stehen geblieben und es wurde seitdem auch nicht mehr viel gemacht. Der Herr und die Dame (vermute mal das Besitzerpärchen) die einen Bedienen sind freundlich. Leider aber seeeehr gemütlich in der Zubereitung der Speisen. Wenn 3 Kunden gleichzeitig bestellen dann dauert es auch mal eine halbe Stunde bis man sein Essen bekommt. Mein Fazit: ich gehe da weiterhin hin weil das Essen echt gut war aber ich nimm das Essen mit. Dort zu essen macht irgendwie depressiv.

Ausgesprochen leckerer Grillteller zu einem Hammer Preis. Dazu noch ein sehr freundlicher Gastgeber. Das war eine sehr erfreuliche Überraschung am Sonntag Abend. Vielen Dank

Beste vegetarische Pizza in Aachen

Ich habe hier regelmäßig Pita Gyros gekauft, als ich noch in der Nachbarschaft wohnt und war immer sehr zufrieden. Habe aus Interesse zwischendurch auch zwei andere Pita Gyros aus Aachen probiert, die waren zwar auch gut, aber eben nicht sehr gut. Fünf Sterne gibt es außerdem für die sympathischen Eigentümer.
