Historischer Dorfgasthof Hirsch Urlau in Leutkirch im Allgäu

Wir waren mit 6 Personen, davon zwei Kinder, im Restaurant. Die Kinder wurden sofort sehr liebevoll empfangen, ihr Essen wurde zusammen mit den Vorspeisen gebracht. Unser Essen Suppe, Vorspeisen, Braten, Käsespätzle, Schnitzel und Fisch waren alle fantastisch. Wir haben bisher selten so guten Service erlebt. Das Restaurant ist urig und liebevoll eingerichtet und das Bier ist sehr lecker! Kann ich nur empfehlen.

Wir waren mit vier Erwachsenen, zwei kleinen Kindern und einem großen Hund zum Abendessen in diesem Restaurant. Das Servicepersonal war unglaublich freundlich und zuvorkommend. Unsere Getränke kamen schnell und auch das Essen ließ nicht lange auf sich warten. Es war sehr lecker und hatte einen richtig urigen Geschmack, was uns sehr gut gefallen hat. Wir können dieses Restaurant nur wärmstens empfehlen.

1A, die Speisen waren lecker, frisch und schnell zubereitet. Mir war die Portion etwas zu klein. Dafür war die Schnitzelportion meiner Frau so groß das ich davon noch Satt wurde 😀

Eine wunderschöne Gaststube aus den frühen Jahren des 20. Jahrhunderts, dazu exzellentes Essen zu angenehmen Preisen. Besonders hat mich die Gastfreundlichkeit, besonders zu meinen Enkeln, beeindruckt. Ich war mit meiner Familie nur zum Essen dort, das Hotel kann ich nicht beurteilen. In jedem Fall ist das Restaurant zu empfehlen.

Schnitzel einwandfrei, auch der Fisch war wirklich sehr lecker. Für die Kinder gab es Spätzle mit Soße – ebenfalls sehr gut und absolut kindgerecht. Zum Nachtisch hatten wir Apfelküchle mit Vanilleeis – klare Empfehlung! Besonders hervorzuheben ist außerdem der Service: sehr zuvorkommend, herzlich und familiär. Man fühlt sich direkt wohl. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Wir waren das erste Mal hier und voll auf Zufrieden. Das Essen war mega lecker. Authentisch, tolle Portionen . Preis und Leistung passen. Urig eingerichtet, gemütlich und man fühlt sich gleich willkommen. Wie in die Kindheit zurück versetzt. Ein Stückchen Vergangenheit.

Wir waren mit kleinem Kind zweimal während unseres Center Parcs Aufenthalts im Hirsch essen und rundum begeistert. Schöner Biergarten, freundlicher und vor allem schneller Service (bei müdem Kind besonders wichtig 😉) und das Essen war ausnahmslos lecker.

Wir hatten hier ein außergewöhnlich gutes Essen. Schnitzel für meine Frau und meinen Sohn – perfekt zubereitet. Ich selbst hatte das Hirschsteak/die Hirschlende … wow, wirklich hervorragend. Wunderschöne Rotweinsauce und Preiselbeerkompott, alles harmonisch und mit viel Liebe zubereitet. Auf der Karte stand ein Barón de Ley Reserva 2020, der hervorragend zum Gericht passte. Auf Empfehlung des Kellners bestellten wir ein Dessert, dem wir zuvor ein Glas Hirschkuss vorausgingen – ein passender Abschluss. Besonders hervorzuheben war der Service: freundlich, professionell und mit spürbarem Respekt vor der Küche und den Gästen. Typisch deutsche Gastfreundschaft in einem Ambiente von historischer Tradition. Ein Ort, an dem sich einfach alles richtig anfühlt.

We had lunch here on a Sunday and reserved a table the evening before. Everything went smoothly, even with a high chair for a baby. The atmosphere is very rustic but really cool. The food was excellent and the portions were very generous. The fries were absolutely delicious, just the way you'd want them. The price-performance ratio was definitely right. The service was impeccable, and we were constantly asked if we needed anything else. All in all, a fantastic lunch and a lovely visit.

We were invited as a group to the Gasthof Hirsch because we lost a reservation some time ago, and the doors were closed. We were invited to enjoy a truly delicious cheese spaetzle dinner. As a big surprise, the management took care of the entire meal, including salads, drinks, and a "liquid dessert." We weren't expecting that 😳 and it wasn't necessary. I really enjoyed it and it tasted great. Friendly service and quick responses. Highly recommended: Kässpätzle with real melted onions and a fantastic cheese blend. Even celebrity TV chefs would have to work hard to top that.

If you love good food and excellent service, this is the place for you. Highly recommended. We went there twice in a row, although the second time the atmosphere left something to be desired. The adjoining room was very crowded, and the seating was a bit awkward. The food is outstanding!

I came here for dinner with my family. It was my birthday and I was greeted with a lovely table and a surprise aperitif. The food was simply fantastic, and the kids loved it too. If you love good food and friendly service, this is the place for you. It's a shame I'm only here on vacation.

Quite okay. Great and rural location. The room was quite basic, had significant fire safety issues, and in my opinion, not worth the price. The breakfast was great, but the breakfast organization was rather uneven and unpunctual, and the staff lacked enthusiasm. For a slightly lower room rate, the hotel would be okay. I didn't have a room, but I give the entire establishment 5 stars. Now let's talk about the food! The idea of ​​serving a sausage salad as an appetizer in a glass is simply a funny and cool idea. I also tried my friends' appetizers and honestly don't know what to say. These appetizers are so delicious that I would have loved to order them all. For my main course, I had the goulash with dumplings. The goulash was simply extremely tender, and the dumplings had a very interesting flavor. I can definitely recommend this meal to everyone. I tried the Kaiserschmarren (smothered pancakes) from another friend, and I just have to say, the entire meal was so delicious that 5 stars wouldn't be enough to rate it. The service was also very attentive, as one friend doesn't eat pork and was asked if he wanted the turkey schnitzel. The staff are very friendly, and I can only say that this restaurant is a total recommendation.

We were at Center Park with friends for a birthday weekend. We ended up having dinner here on Sunday evening. Everyone was very impressed with their food. I had the onion roast beef with cheese spaetzle. It was cooked to a perfect medium rare, and the cheese spaetzle were also excellent. Room 5 in the old guesthouse is not worth the price. It's loud until late in the morning when there's a party like a wedding going on in the event hall, so a good night's sleep is no longer a pleasure in this luxury hotel. Sleep is almost impossible because the open window lets in the noise and then the smoke from the campfire burning outside the hall. Clothes therefore smell of smoke. Every youth hostel has better room facilities. No wardrobe, no coat hangers or anywhere to hang up clothes like suits, etc. The mattress on the bed (pillow bed) is sagging and is propped up by a topper. A catastrophe. If I'd known that you'd be sleeping almost above the event annex, I would have looked for a different hotel. You don't necessarily have to rent these rooms to strangers, but to the wedding guests at the celebration. From 6 a.m. the staff in and around the building are cleaning up, dismantling and preparing. This room is really not a pleasure and doesn't deserve a star.

We ate there for the first and last time. Like many others, we were blinded by the positive reviews. Unfortunately, you can't rely on them anymore. The waiters were all unprofessional in my opinion, which isn't a bad thing per se as long as you don't notice. The "head waiter" was extremely pushy with us women and tried hard to flirt with us and push all sorts of drinks on us. Normally, a single "no" should be enough. About the food: the schnitzel was 100% frozen. The fries were very crispy, which was fine if you like them. The salad also came from a bag; you can recognize the ready-made mixed leaf salads pretty quickly. All in all, an outrage for the price. The restaurant (I have no idea about the hotel) definitely doesn't live up to the great reviews.

Unfortunately, we weren't entirely satisfied. Based on the very good reviews, we had expected more... The "large" salad plate with goat cheese for 19 euros wasn't particularly large and really nothing special. Unfortunately, it didn't fill me up. The portion size of the schnitzel with fries, on the other hand, was okay, and the fries were very tasty. The beer/shandy was very good. We were only allowed to sit at the front facing the street because the back beer garden was closed. The chairs are very uncomfortable (rustic is fine, but it should still be comfortable). Overall, we found the outdoor areas rather poorly decorated, even though they had so much potential. I think all the staff who served us weren't experts, but they did an okay job. All in all, we weren't impressed and wouldn't go back.

A very cozy and inviting restaurant with an authentic feel, where we enjoyed a delicious cordon bleu with a local beer. I can't comment on the rooms because we didn't use the hotel!

The hotel was fine overall. The restaurant also had an inviting, rustic look. However, the staff seemed very overwhelmed, and we were initially ignored. We only received the menus after asking. Unfortunately, for the price range, the food wasn't very convincing either, as the cheese dumplings were very dry and the cordon bleu and fries looked like they had been frozen. We waited so long to pay that we had to go to the counter ourselves.

It's a rather old, "rustic" building, which is evident everywhere. Be it the creaking wooden floors, the single-glazed windows with bay windows, the electrical installation, the old pictures, and of course, the matching furniture. This creates a unique atmosphere. During our visit, all the tables were occupied, and accordingly, it was quite noisy at times. The food and service were quite good, and everything was relatively quick, so there's nothing to complain about. The menu of hot dishes is relatively small, which can certainly be an advantage, but eating à la carte for several days wouldn't be my thing. Nevertheless, I recommend it anyway.

We ate at the restaurant today and, what can I say, it was a complete package. We had no complaints. The food was super delicious and fresh, and the menu was small :) We would come back again and again!!! We can't comment on the hotel since we didn't stay there, so I've skipped that category.

We were here on our last evening at Centerparcs Allgäu, and everything was delicious. Excellent service, child-friendly, and simply rustic and cozy. We had pancake soup, children's schnitzel, spaetzle, salad, fish, and cheese dumplings. For dessert, ice cream and Kaiserschmarrn were simply heavenly.

The food is good, the service is very friendly. There's not much to do in the village itself.

The food at the wedding was good. The dessert was sensationally delicious! The service was okay, but unfortunately, as is the case everywhere these days, the problem was that there weren't enough staff on site. Unfortunately, there were a lot of flies, at least at the time we were there. The terrace where the champagne reception took place was very cozy.

During our stay at Center Parcs Allgäu, we dined here. This traditional inn is authentic and—more importantly—serves delicious food. Think classics like schnitzel, homemade soup, fresh Maultaschen, and Kaiserschmarrn for dessert. What's immediately striking: no mass-produced or park food here, but genuine regional flavors. Everything is prepared with care, and you can taste it. The service is friendly. Compared to the restaurants in Center Parcs, this feels like a breath of fresh air. No noise, no lines, no fast-food vibe. Just delicious food in a pleasant atmosphere, with honest ingredients, and much more affordable too. Highly recommended.

An absolute gem in the Allgäu! Highly recommended! We stayed at the Historic Village Inn Hirsch for two consecutive days and were absolutely thrilled! We have rarely experienced such authentic and warm hospitality. The service was outstanding from the first minute to the last – attentive, incredibly friendly, and courteous, without being intrusive. You immediately feel welcome and well looked after. The food is a true delight and represents Allgäu cuisine at its very best. Every bite was fresh, prepared with love, and simply delicious. The quality of the ingredients, which you can taste, is particularly noteworthy. The whole experience is rounded off by more than fair value for money. Here, you get excellent quality for your money and a wonderful time. We highly recommend the Village Inn Hirsch and will definitely return on our next visit to the Allgäu. We were staying at the hotel next door and were able to have breakfast and dinner here. The breakfast buffet was plentiful. The rolls were a bit dry. Service was quick and friendly. In the evening, we couldn't choose our meal. In retrospect, we calculated that we had paid more for the half-board option. The service was incredibly slow; questions couldn't be answered due to the language barrier, and were either smiled away or clarified by a colleague (when they had time). The food was okay. A small beetle in the salad or a piece of pickle in the applesauce can happen. It shouldn't.

Real Bavaria. A beautiful, well-maintained hotel with various guesthouses. I stayed in the historic building. Simple but very tasteful rooms. Very good German cuisine from the Allgäu region. Friendly staff and good hospitality. Excellent German beer from the hotel brewery. We will gladly come back next year.

We were guests for dinner, and it was a wonderful end to our vacation. A wonderful, rustic restaurant with attentive service and delicious food. We felt very comfortable!

Nobody can eat what is served there as roast roast.

Telephone reservation in the restaurant was only possible after the second call. The table for 7 people had not been reserved on site. There were enough service staff, but it wasn't coordinated and no one felt responsible for us. The food was good, my Gordon Bleu was ok, a bit low on cheese, but very tasty. The wine selection with 2 open red wines was just ok, the coffee was ok.

We had a voucher for €50. Wanted to redeem this at a family dinner. Since the voucher was older than 1 year, it was no longer redeemed and not paid out. So the inn has earned twice. In this way you can also earn a golden nose

Unfortunately not recommended at all. The cheese spaetzle was the worst I have ever eaten. Totally watery and unappetizing and for a hefty price. The room was clean, but was directly above the in-house disco, so you didn't get any sleep at all. The night was definitely not relaxing.
