Excellent schnitzel and friendly service. The inn isn't far from the highway, and it's worth taking a proper break here instead of the usual McDonald's... for barely less money. We'll be happy to come back on our next trip south :)
A truly cozy inn with a beer garden, run for generations by the Göppel family and subsequently continued by Robert "Tarzan" Scheufele. Everything that comes out of the kitchen here can be described as excellent, refined, and of the highest quality. From Swabian cuisine such as Sauerbraten, roast veal, and roast beef with onions to fine salads and Italian-inspired dishes, you'll find it all here. Even the "little ones" don't miss out. Furthermore, the price/performance ratio is fair. The place is always busy and popular.
I highly recommend it ***** Stars
We attended a funeral reception at the restaurant today and felt completely at ease. It's a very cozy and tastefully decorated restaurant. The staff was incredibly attentive and friendly, and the buffet left nothing to be desired. Even though the occasion for our visit was sad, they made our time there very pleasant. Thank you for that. We would gladly come back from Berlin for another visit, hopefully for a better occasion.
We've been there many times. It's always been absolutely delicious. The tagliatelle with beef and tomatoes was very tasty. The spaghetti Bolognese was also very tasty. The service was attentive and courteous.
This is our third year in a row coming here for New Year's Eve dinner, and it's always something special! The food is prepared with love and passion. The service is very friendly, and even our dog feels right at home. We simply love coming back here and letting this special and wonderful food sweeten our holiday.
Absolutely recommended! Delicious food made with fresh ingredients and perfectly seasoned. A particularly cool feature: the sustainable packaging – sadly, you don't see that nearly as often these days. Plus, a super friendly team that makes you feel right at home. I'll definitely be back!
Super delicious pizza, starter platter, and dessert.
A manageable, small menu with something for everyone.
Authentic Italian flavor with an Italian owner and flair. Good value for money. Attentive, friendly service. The outdoor seating at our table had a few more garden chairs, but other tables and chairs were also available. Highly recommended. I will eat there again.
We were there for my mother's birthday; the food was good quality. The wines were below average. After the main course, our daughter was still hungry, so we asked for a portion of fried potatoes. The young waitress, the daughter of the house, said that wasn't possible. Fried potatoes were only the exception. She was snippy and arrogant. No further explanation. Unfortunately, this significantly dampened the mood. Our daughter went home hungry. We won't be coming back. Some people aren't suited to serving. What a shame!
We used to enjoy coming to Pizzeria Catennaccio and eating in.
The last time we went, we were a group and sat outside.
When we arrived, we were rather brusquely asked if we had a reservation. There were no reserved signs on any of the tables outside.
When we asked if there were any free tables, we were told yes.
But then a certain amount of resentment arose, and the staff began moving chairs and parasols around in an almost aggressive manner, to the point that one parasol fell over.
I was somewhat surprised by the owner's behavior, as I usually know him to be different.
Overall, it was a lackluster effort, and the service that day was rather disappointing. When asked if there was a problem, he explained that he was working alone that day. We all sympathized, but a more considerate approach towards the guests would have been more appropriate.
We don't know the internal workings of the restaurant. We come to enjoy a pleasant evening/afternoon in a comfortable atmosphere.
This is what we expect from a restaurant.
The food eaten in was good up to this point, despite everything.
Same restaurant, another day, more recently.
We ordered a pizza for pickup.
Despite picking it up on time, we didn't receive a hot and crusty pizza as we're used to, but a lukewarm and soggy one.
It was an expensive disappointment… Perhaps it's our perspective, perhaps not.
I ordered and there were problems with the delivery (for which the restaurant bears absolutely no responsibility). The person I spoke to on the phone took wonderful care of the problem, and in the end, the food was delicious. Fantastic!
