The ambiance was positive, but everything else was fine, yet ultimately unacceptable. It started with us standing at the entrance like we'd been booked but never picked up. Our drink orders were taken promptly, which was good. The salad as a starter was also good. However, apparently, bringing plates was too much to ask. We ordered two pizzas that were doughy, as were the pizza rolls. The lasagna was essentially just a lump of cheese. My filet was unsalted and far from medium-rare. It could have been a dry piece of pork loin. The vegetables, however, were tasty.
All in all, I don't understand the overwhelmingly positive reviews. Perhaps it's because many of the guests are acquaintances. At least, that was the impression we got.
It wasn't possible to get separate checks or even to ask about them.
Will we come back? Absolutely not. The food simply wasn't good enough.
Unfortunately, it was completely oversalted and burnt.
We ordered through Wolt. The crust and the pizza itself looked great. However, the pizzas were so salty that they were inedible.
My review has been blocked! They don't tolerate criticism here instead of offering an apology. I would have given them a second chance and improved my rating accordingly. I've attached a screenshot as proof.
The owner is friendly and attentive. Prices are on the higher end, even considering the portion sizes. At lunchtime on a Sunday, there were only three other guests. Unfortunately, the food lacked seasoning—instead of the ouzo usually served at Greek restaurants, the meal came with a flatbread.
Unfortunately, the gyros was sold out!
With the current discount voucher, the price/performance ratio is acceptable.
Currently, payment is only accepted in cash!
Overall, we got the impression that at Mythos, cost-cutting measures unfortunately take precedence over customer satisfaction.
The best vegan schnitzel I've ever eaten! The fries were delicious, and the homemade ketchup was also very tasty. The atmosphere was lovely, and the service was fantastic (even for our children). Highly recommended!
Even our telephone reservation for our family lunch was handled with the utmost friendliness. Our party of 12 enjoyed a delicious and creatively presented lunch in the cozy, separate, and lovingly decorated dining room. The appetizers, main course, and finally the delectable dessert were all praised. The service was attentive and friendly. We will gladly return.
Today, the three of us dined at Esszimmer Solingen and ordered three completely different dishes. Everything was cooked to perfection. The fish was excellent, as was the meat. The menu offers a good selection without feeling overwhelming.
The quality is impressive. Fresh ingredients, impeccable execution, and flawless service.
The service was outstanding. Friendly, attentive, and uncomplicated – exactly what many restaurants lack these days.
The dining room has a cozy and tranquil atmosphere. You immediately feel comfortable and are happy to linger.
Highly recommended. We'll be back.
