We were absolutely thrilled! The dishes were truly delicious, everything arrived hot and fresh. The staff were super friendly and gave us great advice. You can tell the passion they put into the cooking here. We'd love to come back! I often order the food to go home; I love it!

We stumbled upon this place by chance and were pleasantly surprised. The interior is beautiful and lovingly decorated. We felt welcome and comfortable. The service is excellent: they offer advice to those who are undecided :-) The food was delicious and fresh, and the plates were warmed (as they should be). The drinks were fresh and cold (the chai was hot). The washrooms were clean. The place is marked. We'll be back very soon! Very good food, unfortunately the restaurant is not easy to find.

My wife and I ate at this Indian restaurant yesterday, and it was simply incredible from start to finish! The dishes were delicious, aromatic, and perfectly balanced—a true journey to India. We received excellent advice and were not disappointed. The staff is attentive, friendly, and attentive. I highly recommend this restaurant; it's an excellent place not to be missed!

The food was actually good overall. However, I have to say that the service and the waiter were very unpleasant, and we were constantly interrupted with annoying questions. At the end, when paying, we pointed out that the drinks had been forgotten, to which the waiter reacted rather angrily.

Such a lovely place! The atmosphere was fantastic, the food was absolutely delicious, and the people were so, so nice. We felt completely at home there and had a wonderful evening! I highly recommend it!

Very tasty food with friendly staff and a traditional atmosphere. The portions are a bit smaller than I'm used to. However, I have no complaints about the taste. It was very tasty, and I would eat there again.

So, when we were first looking for a parking space in Cologne, we weren't sure if we wanted to go to a restaurant there. But we had discovered Bhasin on TikTok and wanted to go there. And it was a really great idea! Everything was clean, friendly, and chic...the food was fresh and hot! And delicious, too! Highly recommended.

So far, we've only ordered here, so I can't comment on the service and ambiance. But the food is excellent. I love the taste of the dishes and am looking forward to eating there again.

I've been to the shop a couple of times and can only recommend it: the food is delicious and the staff are very friendly.

We received a very friendly welcome and were seated immediately. A very chic restaurant. The food arrived in 20 minutes. The butter chicken is truly delicious. Rice is always free. The restrooms are clean. Our plates could have been preheated, but that didn't really bother us. The setting was extremely pleasant, and we felt very comfortable. Definitely a very good Indian restaurant. We'd be happy to come back and recommend this restaurant to friends! 😊

Best waiter, AMAZING food! Everything was top-notch!!

We ate there and I was disappointed. I ordered butter chicken for almost €20. Neither of us was full, which is to be expected for €20. The problem was that they skimp on the rice and don't offer second helpings. They're really cutting corners on the wrong things (I mean, rice in general isn't expensive). The food wasn't spectacular, but it was delicious. I think it's a real shame to skimp on something like rice. We weren't even asked if we wanted to share the rice on a plate with two people each; we would have preferred to have it separate. I also spoke to the employee about it and was really annoyed. At first, they said we wouldn't get any rice, but then we received a very small portion and then a nasty comment about the chef being angry with us.

I ordered lamb biryani for a whopping €17. What arrived was rather boring yellow fried rice masquerading as biryani! 😜 There were a few pieces of lamb in it, but the spices must have missed the plane. For that price, I expect more than a snooze of rice. Next time, I'll look for something that actually tastes like India!

We arrived on a Saturday evening without a reservation. The restaurant was packed. We were told we'd have to wait about 15 minutes. After five minutes, we were ushered in and served very friendly staff throughout the evening. We also found the food very delicious. If we're ever in the area again, we'd be happy to come back.

The two of us each had an aperitif (Aperol Spritz and a non-alcoholic Hugo), a starter to share and each our own main course. We had reserved in advance because it was a Friday evening. All dishes were very tasty, the selection is very large and there are meat, fish and vegetarian/vegan options. We'd love to come back!

We had a group dinner here and it was a pleasant experience. The staff were professional and polite, always going the extra mile and ready to help whenever needed. The food was delicious especially the Lamb Biriyani and Mango Lassi. The ambience of the place was another highlight. Really loved the dining experience.

Amazing vegan dishes and the best service ever!

The portion sizes are really cheeky for the price. When the little bowls arrived I thought the order had been mixed up. Five pieces of chicken in sauce with rice for €17.90. They definitely maximized their profit margin. In terms of taste, it's OK, nothing special and doesn't justify the high price at all. The food was only lukewarm. I've eaten much better Indian food for cheaper. The service was very nice. The ambience is fine. All in all it was the first but also the last time.

Great shop with authentic Indian cuisine!

The dinner was very tasty. We had starter, main course and desserts. Everything was so delicious and filling. We were very satisfied and we made a reservation and got a quick table within a few minutes. In the end I miss a cafe to drink, there aren't any there. Car parking is very difficult to find.

It was my first time eating Indian food and I have to say the food was really delicious. The portion was a good size so you were full. The service was nice and the ambience was also good. I will definitely come back.

Despite the overcrowding, we quickly got a seat. The service was absolutely top! Our waiter was extremely personable, attentive and kept asking whether everything was okay. You really felt welcome. The atmosphere and ambience was great too - cozy, inviting and just perfect for a lovely evening. We'll definitely be back!

I'm very excited! I tried Indian cuisine for the first time and I was blown away. The food was just the right portion size and the taste was out of this world. The ambience and music were very pleasant and inviting, the waiter was friendly and accommodating and the prices were fair. Will definitely come again and recommend it to my friends :)

For the price the dishes are quite small. Some free seats were only partially clean. E.g. You could see crumbs, etc. on the chairs. However, the food and service were great.

I was really excited to try the butter chicken. It actually tasted pretty good, but the portion is so small that it doesn't fill you up. Added to this is the very expensive price for a menu. It's not worth it at all. I've tried much larger portions at other restaurants for less price. Really a shame.

We became aware of Bhasin through Instagram and the good Google reviews and decided to reserve a table despite being 70km away. Unfortunately, we had no luck at all with the food and will not be coming back. The positive first: The restaurant has a very nice atmosphere, natural wooden tables and long benches look inviting and warm. The service is attentive and friendly, even if the service that day looked more like kitchen staff, there is an extensive selection of dishes. On the negative side: Unfortunately the paneer was a complete failure, it had more of the consistency of feta and made the whole dish completely crumbly. Paneer from the oven was not recommended (understandable in retrospect because it wouldn't have stayed on the skewer), but the other dishes were fine according to the service, but they just weren't. Along with the bill, service provided an explanation as to why the paneer didn't taste good. A lot was probably sold that day and there wouldn't have been enough time to produce new ones, but the dishes were still charged in full on the bill. Too bad.

The butter chicken was very tasty. The restaurant is nice. The staff are nice, but when I came back after eating I had animal diarrhea. It burned badly and I spent an hour in the toilet. If you are there, make sure you get home as quickly as possible after your visit.

The best Indian restaurant with more than 38 years of experience. Very nicely decorated and great service. The waiter is very attentive and courteous as well as the founding family “Bhasin” The Butter Nan is incredibly tasty, crispy and soft on the inside. I can recommend the butter chicken and chicken tikka masala, very tasty. You will be asked whether you want the food spicy or mild. The Mango Lassi and the Nimbu Paani are recommended as drinks. We'll definitely be back!!
