Very tasty fresh burgers and great service!

A place to feel good! We were here on a Wednesday evening and were warmly welcomed and looked after. Wine and short drinks were served courteously ;-) Burgers and bowls were freshly assembled in front of us, the falafel starter was fresh and good. Gladly again!

It was a coincidence that led me to this restaurant, and a lucky one at that. The cuisine is typically Hamburger through and through, without drifting into cliché. Every dish that came to the table was a successful mix of tradition and craftsmanship. The wine list? A well-considered selection that should satisfy even the most critical connoisseur - without seeming arrogant. The service was excellent: attentive, friendly, and right to the point. No unnecessary questions, no long waits – just the way you want it. The innkeeper himself deserves special mention. Coming from Baden, he brought a noticeable warmth that immediately created a pleasant atmosphere. It's the kind of hospitality that's rare to find today and that made the evening special. A dinner that not only fills you up, but also leaves you satisfied - in every respect. Highly recommended.

We spontaneously got a table. We received a warm welcome and were able to watch the boys at work in the open kitchen from our table. On the special menu today (Saturday) there was a huge schnitzel with fries and salad at a very fair price. The side salad was freshly prepared with high quality ingredients. The meat was very good to the point. The portion was really a challenge. We received attentive care throughout our stay. Although the restaurant was busy, there was even time for a nice conversation. Unreserved recommendation! On our next visit to Hamburg we will try the completely homemade burgers!

Hello, hello, I came to the restaurant on Saturday evening completely starving and was given a seat. I quickly noticed that the staff were trained and therefore also experts. Unfortunately, this is no longer standard these days. I was really looking forward to the food. This came surprisingly quickly. Slow enough to take time to prepare the food to maintain quality, fast enough to avoid long waiting times for the customer. Already with the starter I could taste the freshness of the food. So it's not just prepared, but you also think about what's on the plate. The coordination of the spices was on point. The main course was served with the same “quickness”. And here too: freshness, quality and perfect seasoning. The side dishes were not too solid and not overcooked. My steak was cooked exactly the way I like it. And this without having been communicated by me in advance. I just had trust in the chef/kitchen. Simply five out of five stars in terms of taste. But it doesn't stop with the food and staff. The toilets, which in my opinion are a big highlight of every restaurant, don't have to hide. Fresh towels and especially individual towels are available for customers after washing their hands. Everything is nice and clean and you can tell that thought has been put into making the guest feel comfortable. The selection of music, which was heard at a very pleasant volume, should not be forgotten. Because these, like spices, round the whole thing off. For me it will definitely not be the last visit to this restaurant. Friendly, respectful and polite staff. Fresh and high quality food. Clean toilets. Pleasant volume and great music selection. As a guest you feel the appreciation that you are shown and you should give this back to this restaurant with enough time. Anything else would be an insult to the food. Lg ✌️😊

Wow, where should I start... The food was really delicious and very reasonably priced. The fries in particular were nice and crispy. The side salad was almost a meal in its own right and was really delicious, and special requests were also gladly accommodated. But the service is particularly noteworthy: the boss had a very nice chat with us, answered questions and even revealed a few recipe secrets ;) I will definitely come back on my next visit to Hamburg!

Went there for lunch today. Very nice atmosphere. When the weather is good, outside with a view of the fish market and the Elbe. Young, friendly and very attentive staff. Food came quickly after ordering. Absolutely one of the best barbecue burgers I've had in a long time. Juicy patty, definitely not frozen, home-made buns and extremely tasty and crispy fries. I'll definitely come back, and from the menu it seems worth going in the evening.

We were there for lunch. It's a great location that looks very modern. The food (cheesburger & chickenburger) were fresh and super tasty. The service was friendly and took care of every request. Overall, a delicious meal in a great atmosphere right at the fish market.

We had a very nice employee on site who gave us great advice when we wanted to put together our own bowl. Seriously, the noodles for the child arrived in no time and first thing. The food in general was very tasty. We will definitely come back when we are in Hamburg again

A Delightful Dining Experience for Families. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by friendly staff who made us feel right at home. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a nice ambience that set the perfect tone for our meal. The food was absolutely amazing. Each dish was prepared with care. While the dishes did take a bit longer to arrive, the wait was hardly noticeable thanks to the thoughtful amenities for kids. Our son was entertained with a variety of toys and books, and the availability of a high chair made our dining experience all the more comfortable. Overall it is a fantastic choice for families. The combination of delicious food, attentive staff, and a kid-friendly environment made our visit truly enjoyable.

Because of the good reviews, we visited the restaurant on a Saturday. Unfortunately, there is no quality on offer - reviews and prices are definitely from the predecessor “Siebens”. The owner changed around 3 months ago. Now you get maximum snack quality delivered. In this respect, the prices are downright outrageous. Burgers with frozen patties for over 20 EUR are not possible. The fries are completely over salted, the teriyaki rice pan consists of 99% rice. For us it's quite clear: you're adorning yourself with the laurels of your predecessor and dismissing criticism of the price-performance ratio by saying that the restaurant was full all day. No wonder given the location and the reviews. But none of the guests will definitely come back.

When the weather was good, we were able to sit outside and eat chicken in vegetable rice (very tasty), as well as schnitzel with fries and salad (dry schnitzel - frozen). These were daily specials. Service very friendly. Would definitely take a look again... without schnitzel 😀

Wir waren als Familie dort. Haben 3 Alster bestellt und haben drei verschiedene Varianten bekommen. Mit, mit etwas und ohne Schaumkrone. Meine Jungs hatten Fisch der lecker war und ich einen BBQ Burger welcher versalzen und übergewürzt war. Schade ☹️ Übrigens waren wir mit zwei weitern Gäste am Nachmittag die einzigsten und hatten das Lokal gewählt da es sehr gute Bewertungen hatte. Leider eine Fehlentscheidung☹️

It's a shame... apparently there was a change of ownership... the Sevens is now called Fives, quite confusing as the lettering and logo are identical. Previously a shop run by restaurateurs, now everything is loveless... The food at Siebens was really a dream and you could tell that there were real chefs in the kitchen.. now at Fives there are only poorly prepared dishes.. Everything was cooked and from a can... I had a salad bowl that was too coarse sliced ​​lettuce, beetroot from a jar and the rest from a can. Not recommendable.

I came here because it was so highly rated. I’m very disappointed. The Classic Fish & Chips came with 2 small pieces of fish, the rest of the plate was filled with potato chips that weren’t even that good (like frozen chips from the supermarket). The tartar sauce was also packaged quality (like Heinz), not home made.

It was so expensive that we just left... €20 for spaghetti is really not normal... And everything else was even more expensive! 😕

My lunch was very good. Freshly prepared and beautifully presented. It was delicious. The visit was therefore already worth it. The service is impeccable. Very friendly, unobtrusive and attentive. That's how it should be. The ambience is pleasant and not gloomy. There are beautiful outdoor spaces, either with benches or chairs, and there is also an area inside for a cozy atmosphere for two or in groups. The sanitary area is exemplary. Unfortunately, the required cleanliness is no longer a given these days. Everything is perfect here and almost luxurious :-) I think the Fives restaurant is highly recommended. Individual requests are dealt with flexibly and friendly. Everything was perfect, so I can give all 5 stars with a clear conscience.

The last time we were at seven was at the end of 2023 and we were totally thrilled. Unfortunately a lot has changed at seven, apparently the chef/service/owner (new name) has changed. The quality of the food has also deteriorated accordingly. Very unfortunate 😕

Our spontaneous lunch at Siebens was simply a dream. We were welcomed by an extremely friendly and attentive waiter who served us fantastic fish & chips. Large portion and everything presented very lovingly. The friendly restaurant manager looked around at all the tables and checked the satisfaction of his guests. We felt very comfortable and regret that, as Munich residents, we can't go to Siebens regularly. We would have liked to take our charming and attentive waiter with us. Unfortunately it wasn't affordable. 😟

Very nice restaurant with a lot of room for improvement. We received a very friendly welcome and were allowed to choose the most beautiful table in the almost empty dining room. The menu was brought to us quickly and we were able to quickly place the first part of our order. From then on the service became less attentive, even though there were only a few guests present. If you wanted something you had to actively draw attention to yourself. The wine selection, like the selection of dishes, is quite limited, but OK. The bouillabaisse was very tasty but the bread served with it was too crispy and completely hard. The BBQ ribs were tender, but when served they were only lukewarm and smeared with a ready-made sauce. Here too, the bread was too hard and there was hardly any garlic taste. I think the prices for the goods on offer are excessive.

Auf der Suche nach einer Location für ein unkompliziertes Mittagessen in Fischmarktnähe im Netz auf Siebens gestoßen. Die Bewertungen und die Speisekarte haben überzeugt. Haben vorsichtshalber reserviert. Was sich als sinnvoll erwiesen hat. Es ist in kleines Lokal mit einigen Tresentischen sowie auf einer Empore auch normale Esstische. Wir hatten einen schönen Baltisch zwischen Fenster und Tresen. Die viel gerühmte Freundlichkeit und ungezwungene Atmosphäre haben können wir bestätigen. Man fühlt sich willkommen… Die Mittagskarte ist klein aber bietet über Fleisch, Fisch, bodenständig bis Burger und Pastagerichte. Wir kommen wieder ….

Dort würden wir wieder hingehen. Meine Rippchen fand ich wirklich sehr gut. Es gibt kein Fassbier, aber das muss ja nicht unbedingt ein Nachteil sein.. .

Tolles Restaurant mit Top Bedienung. Wir wurden bis spät in die Nacht noch bedient. Unsere Bedienung (Nico) ist ein exzellent gewesen. Tollen Tag zusammen gehabt.

Neben unserem kulturellen Highlight, dem Konzert in der Elbphilarmonie, wird uns unser Besuch im Siebens immer in Erinnerung bleiben. In entspannter Atmosphäre am Fischmarkt konnten wir ein sensationelles Essen genießen. Noch nie, in unserem langen Leben, haben wir ein solch tolles Chili von Carne resp. einen Burger genießen dürfen. Dieses Restaurant gehört auf die Bucketlist eines jeden Hamburgbesuchers. Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis ist ebenfalls unglaublich, nahezu „billig“. Unser besonderer Dank an Niko der einen tollen Job macht. Wir kommen wieder. Marion und Jonas
