MY Kebap's in Hamburg

Unfortunately, things have declined considerably! It used to be one of the best kebabs in Hamburg. Now, unfortunately, it's just average. I can't even put my finger on what. The bread, the meat, the sauce, the salad—everything is different. It's a shame. I'll have to drive to Lattenkamp. They're the best!!

Unfortunately, my visit wasn't convincing. The so-called "spicy sauce" was surprisingly sweet – I didn't like the taste at all. Overall, the kebab was rather disappointing. The service wasn't particularly friendly either, which further spoiled the experience. It's a shame; I had hoped for more.

Absolute rip-off! Food order wasn't delivered, impossible to get through by phone. No organization. If you can't manage it, you shouldn't offer delivery!

My Kebap's on Gertigstrasse is a real insider tip for anyone who values quality, taste, and friendliness. The doner kebab was absolutely top-notch: freshly prepared, juicy meat, crisp salad, and a perfectly balanced homemade sauce. The portion was more than generous – no one will go home hungry. The service is particularly positive: super friendly, fast, and attentive. You feel truly welcome here as a guest – and even more so as a regular. The cleanliness of the shop was also impressive, and the prices are more than fair for the quality offered. For me, a clear 5 out of 5! A place I can highly recommend to anyone – whether for a quick lunch, dinner, or simply when you're craving a really good doner kebab. I'll definitely be back!

I've loved the food there ever since it opened. Over time, though, it all kind of declined, and today it was my birthday after the kebab. I don't know if it was due to their hygiene today or if some of the food wasn't quite as fresh. In any case, this was my last visit for a while.

The meat was fantastically prepared, and the sauces complemented it perfectly. A truly winning combination—I'll be back!

I bought food for 11.49€ and got charged 9€ for delivery 💀. Now the most absurd thing is, that you don’t see that first, rather later on when they snatch the Price and you can’t do anything about it. Be careful when ordering, and for the restaurant please work on transparency more, it’s really a cheap way to do business like this.

I eat here regularly. For me one of the best kebabs in Hamburg. Every time I take a colleague with me who doesn't know the store, they then agree with me. I usually eat falafel there and they are definitely homemade, they taste so good! I also ate the kebab, the bread is great! The meat is also super tasty! All in all, my first recommendation to eat kebab in Hamburg (I never ordered it locally). The ambience is nothing special, the employees are nice, but if it's full you'll be processed quickly. That's why it's quick!

Mega tasty & super fast – despite a large order! No matter how full the store is, the team here rocks it! Our XXL order (for 12 people) was ready in no time, everything was freshly prepared and really tasty. The fries were crispy, the kebab was juicy and great value for money! Well, most of the reviews here are from Lieferando - which is why I'd like to write my constructive opinion about one of my favorite shops. First of all, when you order kebab or fries - the quality is the same as you would get locally or with short transport routes due to the ingredients and the fat in the meat. MyKebab is BY FAR the best kebab in Winterhuder and Eppendorf. The bread is fresh and aromatic, the meat not too fatty and very well seasoned, and the cocktail/avocado sauce is second to none. The guys are fast, friendly, and the portions are always great. I can recommend everyone to try the kebab there. The seitan is also very, very tasty. That's exactly how it should be.

The place is nice and clean. The tables and chairs are tidy, lots of extra spices and sauces on the table. A small minus because it smelled of cigarettes from outside. Nice professional service. Payment upon consummation. I recommend.

It used to be good. Lost weight dramatically in the last few weeks. Now the food arrives cold and something is always missing. Fries limp (if they are not forgotten), Dürüm dough not cooked through. We got our food quickly but the fries tasted old, as if they had just been thrown in the deep fryer to freshen up. They were relatively brown. The kebab was ok, you can do it once but not again.

The food tastes good, BUT the hygiene leaves a lot to be desired. The employees don't wear gloves: touch the wrap, touch the tongs, touch the bucket of sauce, touch the wrap again, collect money, touch the food again. No washing of hands! Tables dirty. It's a shame, but I'm out of there!

Very good, tasty kebab. The bread is properly toasted and generously filled. The meat was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The cocktail sauce is highly recommended. The salad is fresh. Special requests were taken into account and the service was very friendly. The food was prepared quickly, despite the large number of guests. I can therefore only recommend this shop. So far there have been no complaints during our visits.

It's better to order through Lieferando, if you go there in person you have to wait 3 years, even if you just order fries. Instead of making the fries in advance, WHILE you wait for the other food to be ready. No, all the other things are done first. You have to wait ages. The fries are okay, definitely not the best.

I ordered here today through Uber Eats. The only good thing was the timely delivery. I have never eaten an adana with such a tasteless taste. The börek were virtually unprocessed. They came lightly fried and must have been some time ago.

Try the Kofte Sandwich without the Salad, I am not sure if its a German thing but the clientele were allowed fo bring their dogs inside the shop, Owners should clearly post signs asking guests with pets to eat outside on the arranged seating.

Mega nice + fast service, attentive and thoughtful. Although we only had very tasty fries to satisfy our hunger, we were still served courteously. There was unlimited ketchup and mayo for free... mega. We'll definitely come back.

I ordered a vegetarian kumpir from "My Kebab" on Eppendorfer Marktstrasse around 3:04 p.m. today and was unfortunately very disappointed with my experience. Instead of an appetizing vegetarian dish, I received a kumpir with vegan substitute meat that left a lot to be desired in terms of appearance and taste - it reminded me unpleasantly of dog food. The baked potato itself was bland and so soft that it almost had the consistency of a smoothie. In addition, ingredients were added that I expressly did not want, which shows that little attention is paid to customer wishes. Such disregard for the order and the lack of quality of the food is unacceptable to me. I strongly advise against ordering here. Save your money or cook yourself - anything else would be a waste and could also lead to gastrointestinal problems. There's an old saying: "Cobbler, stick to your guns." This is also what I would recommend to My Kebab, rather than getting caught up in trends like vegan options, which they are obviously not equipped for. There are numerous vegan restaurants in Hamburg that serve this niche much more competently. A kebab shop doesn't necessarily have to be vegan, especially if the result is so disappointing in terms of quality and the vegan substitute meat leaves a lot to be desired in terms of appearance and taste. If you really want to eat vegan, you can definitely find better places in the city. The offering here is simply inadequate and disappointing.

We ordered food here, waited an hour and nothing came. Then suddenly the news came that the order was canceled... We are hungry and angry.

I was really disappointed with my visit to this kebab shop. When we walked in we noticed that the kebab skewer had just been cut and the meat still looked raw. We politely pointed this out to the seller and asked him to properly fry the meat before he cut it for us. He agreed, but barely a minute later he cut it again - the result was raw kebab meat that was served to us. See picture for the result. This is absolutely unacceptable! But that's not all: the bread was somehow stuck together, which caused the kebab to fall apart. See picture 2. If you like raw meat, this may be the right place for you, but I will never eat here again. This snack is definitely not recommended!

Great selection, many sauces, lots of salad options, all very fresh. Halloumi, Falafel and Saitan available, as well as great oven potatoes. Inside is cozy, well decorated and not too loud, but can be very crowded. If you're in a hurry don't order fries, they only have one fryer and it takes ages. Still absolutely 5 stars, my favorite kebap in Hamburg so far.

My Kebap’s is by far the best I have been in Hamburg. 1) The food portion is massive. Frankly if you’re not super hungry, a beef dorum, could serve two person. 2) Prices are also reasonable 3) The staff are also nice 4) They also serve tea for free. The “My Kebaps Mix” was ordered, according to the description with veal skewer, turkey skewer, minced meatball, kebab meat and rice + salad as a side dish. What actually arrived were fries and only (admittedly a good portion) veal and turkey skewers (without skewers). No rice, no kebab meat, no minced meatballs. The food itself wouldn't be bad, but if more than half of it is missing or delivered incorrectly, it's more than disappointing.

Ordered via Uber Eats 4 times so far. It was always good, until today. The kebab didn't have its usual structure and had far too little sauce. This was also the case with my girlfriend! Overall, the kebab is still very tasty and I hope next time it will be like the old one. (01/19/24 6:30 p.m.)

Ich kann nur sagen, dass es einer der besten Dönerladen sind, den ich jemals besucht hatte. Es wird ab sofort mein Stammladen werden. Ich freu mich das Fleisch schmeckt sehr gut der Salat ist frisch und genau so soll es auch sein. Von den Soßen brauchen wir garnicht reden einfach schmackhaft. Ich kenne kein wo alles so gut kombiniert. Ich freue auf das nächste Mal.

Leider wurde ich soeben sehr enttäuscht. Ich war mit meinem Baby im Geschäft und einer der Mitarbeiter hielt es für notwendig direkt neben meinem Baby extrem laute Silvester Knaller zu zünden. Und das OBWOHL er registriert und kommentiert hat, dass ich da mit einem schlafenden Baby stehe. Finde ich auf menschlicher Ebene sehr respektlos. Ich musste nur noch bezahlen und wäre in 2min weg gewesen! So lange hätte man doch warten können. Zumal überhaupt nicht mehr Silvester ist! Auch die anderen Gäste haben teils entsetzt geschaut, wie man so rücksichtslos sein kann. Das Essen war in Ordnung, dennoch aufgrund dieser Situation 1 von 5 Sternen.

Meiner Meinung nach Hamburg‘s bester Döner. Immer super netter Service, geschmacklich top und immer frisch, besonders die Avocadosauce ist der Hammer & es gibt gratis Tee vor Ort. Einmal My Kebap‘s immer My Kebap‘s.❤️

Arrogante Angestellte, sie reden schlecht mit Kunden und das Essen ist nicht sehr gut

Hast du Wünsche oder Extras, wirst du türkisch indirekt beschimpft, die reden dann schlecht über dich, allerdings auf Türkisch. Für einen Döner bekommt mal sehr hellbraunes Fleisch. Türkische Pizza war ganz ok. Es wurde aber in eine Folie eingepackt, die mies nach Chemikalien riecht, so wie Hansaplast Pflaster. Der Geruch von der Chemikalie ist so stark, dass ich mittendrin mit Essen aufhörte. Das Personal ist nicht qualifiziert und deshalb auch sehr hektisch. Ambiente ist nichts meins, dies ist jedoch Geschmacksache.

Wir lieben diesen Laden. Sehr lecker, großzügige Portionen, liebes Team und gute Stimmung. Ihr seid eine echte Bereicherung für Winterhude - bitte weiter so!

Unfreundliche Bedienung, welche einen verhandelt als wüsste man deren Gerichte und Zutaten auswendig, wenn man mal kurz was fragt. Es wurde dann ein normaler Döner mit hastig gewählter Soße, weil man heutzutage keine 5 Sekunden mehr hat um mal zu schauen was einem von den 5-6 Soßen überhaupt zusagt. Zum Döner: Geiles und schön kross gebratenes Brot! Richtig frischer/knackiger Salat! Geile Avocadosoße Fleisch? Genug drin, leider gerade eben so gar. Keine angebratene Kruste, weil der Grill nur auf halber Flamme läuft. Hinter mir wartete ein weiterer Gast, somit wäre genug Zeit gewesen 1. den Kunden eine Soße in Ruhe zu empfehlen und 2. in der Zeit oder generell sich die 3-5 Min zu nehmen das Fleisch richtig zu grillen. Service insgesamt verbesserungsfähig.

Haloumi Dürüm: Gute Portion, lecker, frischer Salat drin. Gute Option in dieser hochpreisigen Gegend.

Mein Stammdöner. Esse dort immer veganen döner, gibt aber auch viele andere leckere Sachen. Sehr gut besucht, immer alles frisch. Nettes Personal, obwohl Sie unter stress stehen immer freundlich.

Nette Mitarbeiter, immer für einen Schnack zu haben, trotz reger Kundschaft schnelle Zubereitung vom Essen, keine langen Wartezeiten. Stempelkartensystem - coole Sache. Sowohl Bar- als auch Kartenzahlung möglich. Essen: noch nie so guten Döner und Falafel gegessen. Salat- und Soßenauswahl vielfältig, konstantes Preisniveau. Super Sache, die ihr da macht!

Die Preise der Menütafeln stimmen nicht und hinterher soll man mehr bezahlen.

Wir essen immer Dürüm Döner und hier sind wir jedesmal zufrieden. Der Fladen ist dünn, der Salat knackig und man kann zwischen drei Fleischsorten wählen - hammer. Alle immer nett hinter der Theke und preislich komplett ok. Die Curry/Ananas Soße ist mega. Immer gerne - Fotos gibt es nicht mehr, weil wir zu schnell aufgegessen haben 😄

This one is always busy due to its location and good food; the location and target audience makes it some 15% more expensive than others in the city but it's still a good and wise choice - I myself was there twice this summer and made sure my fidelity card got stampled! Be it the classic döner kebap, the fallafel or food on the plate, you'll end up more than satisfied, as take-away or on the plate to eat indoors or outdoors.
