Music for the ambience was somehow missing, service excellent, except for the chicken the food was also great

The Kempinski Gravenbruch will be missed, but we hope for equally ambitious and innovative concepts in the future. It's an absolute gem and a great place to escape the city in the summer.

I haven't had such a bad meal in a long time. Lebanese cuisine can be so much better. I don't understand the hype surrounding the Levante at the Kempinski Gravenbruch. It's simply not worth the money.

Absolutely delicious meal at Levante tonight! Everything was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The service was helpful and attentive. Special mention to the kind woman from the Kempinski Muscat Oman who came with the chef and his team who walked us through the menu and especially for giving me a fantastic gluten free meal. I felt really safe eating here. Highly recommended.

Levante has a kitchen team from Oman from July until September and the menu is inspired by the cuisine from this region. For starters we had different varieties of hummus with flatbread, as well as falafel. Perfect for sharing. Main courses were also good (kofta, fish, grilled eggplant). I would recommend to revisit the wine list and either adjust the pricing or select different wines. A glass of their Sancerre wine is 31 EUR which is a very high 6x markup, compared to a regular 2x or 3x markup and it diminishes the overall value. The künefe dessert is nice, but not a great combination to serve it with ice cream on top of it. We prefer the authentic version. The location is beautiful with a large outdoor terrace and a beautiful interior. You can enjoy the water show in the pond at the start of every hour (7-9pm). The staff is very friendly and attentive.

A dreamy evening! It was mainly due to the location and the friends who attended! We reserved a table for four at 6 p.m. (the opening) in the "pop-up restaurant" (the allure of something new, and only for a short time) called Levante (a historical geographical name for the countries on the eastern Mediterranean, i.e., those east of Italy). We sat on the beautiful lakeside terrace in the park, overlooking the "Magic Fountain Show" at the 5-star Kempinski Hotel in Gravenbruch (across from the well-known drive-in cinema). Every hour on the hour, we marveled at the impressive water features (without a light show) with music from "Future World Music" (a boutique music library and record label for effective film music and film advertising). From July 5 to September 10, a kitchen team from the Omani sister hotel will be serving here. Chef Julien El Khal and his colleagues Bader El Amri, Onder Isik, and Mohmouud Aszadjali run the (essentially) Lebanese cuisine. Everything tasted good, and the same quality in Frankfurt's Bahnhofsviertel district is, of course, significantly cheaper. The "Trio Hummus" appetizer (Traditional, Spicy, Beiruti) for €22 was already filling me up. Especially since I was able to sample my companions' appetizers: - Smokey Eggplant Moutabal (eggplant tapenade with yogurt, tahini, pomegranate, and parsley (€9)) - Muhammara (olive oil | pomegranate paste, breadcrumbs, and walnuts (€11)) - Batata Harra (spicy potato cubes with garlic and coriander (€9)) - Fried Chicken Wings Muttafa with garlic, coriander, and lemon (€13) The main courses were all delicious, but not as exceptional as hoped, yet as filling as feared: Lahme Michwiyi (cubed lamb, grilled tomatoes, mushrooms, fried onions, and biwaz, parsley, and onion salad for €25), a grill platter for two for €58. There was no wine list, and I missed the Lebanese options. Wines. But the full-fruity Syrah from "Les Jamelles" 2021 from the South of France (bottle €48, 0.2 l €16.50, purchase under €9) tasted really good to us. However, we found the 0.5 l of Büble wheat beer in a handle glass for €8 to be truly foreign. The two waiters (conversation only in English) were probably also from Oman and rather understaffed for what I estimated to be 40 guests. It's a good thing that Levantine people always score points with their good humor and a great deal of calm. We would have liked to order dessert and/or a digestif, but somehow the tables were cleared all around us, and we were ignored. Conclusion: We love oriental cuisine and "no one was hurt" (the parking fees were refunded, by the way). Given the positive overall experience, a mild 4 stars.

Pequeño, exótico, buen servicio, personal conocedor, explican todos los platos, al ser un restaurante libanés no reconocimos muchos de los platos. Tienes que gustar las especias y el tipo de cocina. Interesante pero no del todo nuestra tarifa.

Una de las mejores comidas de estilo árabe que tuve en mi vida. Mi hija y yo compartimos un plato de inicio, y ella es vegana, no hay problema en absoluto. El plato principal que obtuvo fue un plato vegano perfecto. Seguí las recomendaciones de la camarera y tomé paloma, una francesa perfecta y la presenté en 5 variaciones. Gracias a Mary por recomendar! Servicio muy bueno y muy amable. El postre también fue absolutamente delicioso. Selección de vinos muy buena, pero no hay vino libanés. Incluso si no te alojas en el hotel, debes visitar 5 puntos. ! !

Efter 1,5 uges ferie sluttede vi af på denne restaurant på Kempinski. Og hold nu op hvor var det lækkert. Vi startede med 5 forskellige Meze. Derefter hovedret. Maden var helt igennem fantastisk. Uden sidestykke. Selvfølgelig libanesisk køkken. Som er smagfuldt og med mange grøntsager. Betjeningen var perfekt og elegant. Køkkenchefen fra Libanon (er mit gæt) helt igennem en god vært. Lokalerne var elegante. Akustikken god. Priserne rimelige. Ville ønske jeg kunne give 6 prikker. Er du op Kempinski Gravenbuch - så spis i denne restaurant.

Ein Feuerwerk der Geschmäcker an einem magischen Ort. Ich esse schon lange gern die Speisen der östlichen Mittelmeerländer, und da gibt es schon gute Adressen, doch das Levante setzt allem einen drauf. So fein abgeschmeckt, delikat gewürzt und liebevoll angerichtet habe ich die levantinische Küche noch nie erlebt. Sensationell! Dazu ist das Restaurant traumhaft eingerichtet (ein Innenbereich aus 1001 Nacht) bzw. gelegen (sagenhafter Seeblick auf der Terrasse). Einziger Wermutstropfen sind die Getränkepreise. Faktor 6 bei der Kalkulation für Wein (üblich waren mal 3), noch mehr bei Wasser (9,50 € für ein simples Selters 0,75 l) lassen fast den Appetit weg bleiben. Ich wollte fast einen Stern dafür abziehen, andererseits sind Essen und Location dann doch wieder so toll, dass ich ganze 5* gebe. Aber der negative Beigeschmack bleibt.

Ausgezeichnete Gerichte und erstklassiger Service! Selten so verwöhnt worden.
