Great little Korean restaurant with very friendly service, beautiful dishes, and stylish gas grills.
The beef bulgogi (for two) was excellent, and they offer a second portion of meat. A nice surprise.
Super delicious. It was the first time I'd tried a purely vegetarian meal. So I had the Mr. Veganus plate, and I have to say, I'm absolutely thrilled. Based on this positive experience, I'll probably change my eating habits a bit. The ambiance matches the restaurant. Only, there were no towels in the restroom; they were empty. There are substitutes if you forget something. But that's no reason to deduct a star. The staff were also super friendly and gave good advice. I'll be happy to go again.
For me, the restaurant was okay.
The food was decent, but nothing special.
I ordered beef pho and, for that price, expected tender, thinly sliced fillet. I also ordered an extra portion of beef for an extra charge – unfortunately, it was anything but fillet. The spring roll was delicious, but the baked lobster was unfortunately frozen.
Regarding the service: The manager was very nice, but the employee was probably having a bad day.
€99.00 for three people – that really wasn't cheap. I expected more.
Rises Delicacies is a small restaurant serving Greek specialties. The decor was cozy, tavern style. However, I found the chairs unsuitable for sitting for long periods of time. The seat was very small, so that if you didn't sit bolt upright you basically had to sit on the edge of the chair. The food was generally good, but our moussaka was only lukewarm. Since there were very few guests in the restaurant at the time, it can be ruled out that there was a long wait in the kitchen and the waiter simply didn't manage to serve. So it probably wasn't fresh but warmed up. You can do that, but I would have expected fresh food given the prices and the ambience. The moussaka tasted good, but the portion was quite small. In principle, you can certainly spend an evening here.
I ordered pizza for pickup here for the first time today, and it was incredibly delicious. The staff was very friendly, the order was ready on time, and the pizza was fresh, crispy, and perfectly topped. I highly recommend this place.
