After an extensive visit to the local thermal baths, we were hungry. Although it was already shortly before 9 p.m., we were still able to get something from the kitchen. The guest room is tastefully and qualitatively furnished and offers enough space. The service was friendly and courteous, the drinks we ordered were served quickly. As a welcome from the house, an ouzo with peach was served - very tasty. The food, in my case gyros with two steaks, was hot and tasted excellent. The rice was also very good. The price/performance ratio is reasonable considering the large portions and not too expensive. The restaurant “Zum Janni” is definitely recommended. We'd love to come back.

Unfortunately I'm very disappointed with the visit! Was my last time. The waitress made a mistake with the orders. You want to order something to drink and you keep getting an inergic "SAME" The restaurant is about 20% busy with customers and you had to wait 45 minutes for your food... I didn't like my Bifteki Natur, it was dry and there were few fries. My group agreed that they would not enter the restaurant again. The beer garden outside is nicely decorated and you can watch football well. So for a beer that's okay 🍺

The new family team in service (formerly Ionio) is simply incredibly nice and accommodating. Very tasty food with delicious daily specials. It goes without saying that this restaurant has cult status and the good atmosphere among neighbors from the Wilhelminian style district and guests from outside. Definitely go!

The best greek restaurant for me ever

Great restaurant. Deliciously prepared tasty dishes (including starters and desserts). Attentive and friendly waiters despite the house being fully booked on Valentine's Day. Hats off. We like being here.

Always delicious! Sometimes the service could be a little more attentive when it comes to the drinks - but otherwise everything was great :)

Visited spontaneously, reserved at short notice and was pleasantly surprised. Very good food, very friendly and authentic service, with the best recommendations!

On the subject: FOOD: ...well, in terms of price, the quality of what came on the plate was absolutely TOP TOP! From the meat to the salad... the side dishes were - almost too much! Service: Jo typical original Greek - friendly - direct - attentive! Ambience: Well it's more of a mix of Greek-Franconian... but that's exactly the fact that it's not a fancy shop that you have to pay for, the beer garden is no problem 👍 So the food was tip top

A restaurant I've known for over 40 years and even went to as a child. Everything is really nice, especially the Greek food, even the music! The only downside is that if you want to go in on a Sunday, you have to take a long detour if you rely on a walker because the center is closed, which means you can't use the elevators. But otherwise, everything's fine, including the prices 👍

Friendly staff, always very nice and charismatic. Except the bathrooms are in urgent need of renovation.

On March 29, 2025, six of us went to Sorbas Bochum. We were all disappointed and dissatisfied with the service and especially the food. The entire meal was inedible, and one dish actually stood out so negatively that it had to be returned: it was a kind of casserole of pasta, tomato sauce, and cheese. The reality was a watery, microwaved mush. My gyro with bifteki and fries for €20.50 was a disgrace. The portion and quality were substandard. Furthermore, the overpriced appetizers were a culinary journey through the convenience food section. The returned dish was removed from the bill.
