On March 29, 2025, six of us went to Sorbas Bochum. We were all disappointed and dissatisfied with the service and especially the food. The entire meal was inedible, and one dish actually stood out so negatively that it had to be returned: it was a kind of casserole of pasta, tomato sauce, and cheese. The reality was a watery, microwaved mush. My gyro with bifteki and fries for €20.50 was a disgrace. The portion and quality were substandard. Furthermore, the overpriced appetizers were a culinary journey through the convenience food section. The returned dish was removed from the bill.

I went there because of the positive reviews, but unfortunately, I can't confirm that. The salad was okay, if a bit dry. The gyro was edible, but the calamari was terrible. It looked so gray, was extremely rubbery, and had a disgusting aftertaste. If you like calamari, you should go somewhere else.

As can be seen from other reviews, the portions are very large and the staff is very friendly. Compared to the price, it's a bit rarer to find something like this these days. The taste is very good. The meat is well seasoned but not overly seasoned. Salad nice and crispy fresh. Tzatziki was a bit salty but it balanced out perfectly with the meat. The fries didn't survive the way home quite as crispy (which is due to the slightly longer journey) but that didn't make them any worse and they also absorbed some of the meat's fat. The homemade bread for the pita was also very good. The light smoky aroma gave the pita even more flavor and was a treat for the palate. Basically full marks, everything is right here. 👍🏻

There were 4 of us there, the atmosphere was very cute, but the staff was unfriendly, we got the wrong food, the food wasn't good at all for the prices, we all had stomach aches afterwards, we felt sick and we didn't really eat the food. I'm sorry but it's not edible and the staff is just unfriendly. Cola wasn't original, portions were mega small and was served on run-of-the-mill plates that were broken. Salad was brown. Never again!

Absolutely recommended! Mediterranean cuisine at its best. The staff 11/10. You can come 10 minutes before closing time and you'll still get service like you've been a regular for 10 years!

I didn't like the food at all, even though we said we had to be bowling at eight o'clock, we had to wait forever until he came to pay! I mean if you don't have any staff then you have to close and in the end it's totally unfriendly.
