We have been to Samoa several times. The food was always of excellent quality, the service was courteous, attentive and friendly and the furnishings were cozy and high-quality. We always enjoy coming here.
Unfortunately my visit to this restaurant was disappointing. I ordered chicken korma, my favorite dish that I know from England, but it didn't taste like it should at all. The sauce was neither sweet nor creamy, but had a tart taste. The chicken had an unusual, almost musty-nutty flavor, as if it had been marinated in something beforehand.
The basmati rice was dry and contained cloves and peppercorns - something I don't know from authentic Indian cuisine. The naan bread was also a big disappointment: way too thin, dry and more like a crispy pizza than the fluffy, flavorful naan you would otherwise expect.
In England you can get authentic Indian food almost everywhere, so I was hoping to find something similar here. Unfortunately that wasn't the case. I will not visit this restaurant again.
However, the service was fine - friendly and attentive. There's nothing wrong with that.
Very good food, friendly staff, beautiful furnishings and, as a special highlight, children only pay 1.50 euros per age for the respective menu. This family business is an absolute recommendation for lunch, weddings and bowling and has been a reliable reference in the region for over 30 years.
Clocky and very comfortable.
Very tasty food.
Warm hosts.
Price and performance are right here 👍
We are regular guests here.
Reservation is recommended as space is limited in winter.
We were just there for a drink and tried the Tiramus.
The Ayuverdic tea was delicious, the service was very friendly and accommodating.
The tiramisu was outstanding, next time we will 100% eat something, it all looked so delicious.
My wife and I went to Moskito for the first time today. Our daughter and her friend recommended this restaurant to us and accompanied us on our first visit. We got advice from both of them when choosing and ordering and were really impressed afterwards. Very tasty and, above all, fresh cuisine. Good service and very friendly staff. Five stars in all categories.👍
I am uploading a picture and I don’t think I need to say more. Every time I order, the food comes like this. They give the fault to the deliverer bit honestly: the least they can do is pack the hot, liquid parts extra in a bag. Upon calling, I was yelled at immediately by the person on the telephone for just asking questions. I understand that they have Uber Eats as intermediary, but the treatment is awful and if the food is constantly coming like this, it’s a sign that they shpuld do something. There’s literally melted plastic on my food.
EDIT 1): The restaurant answered asking why I keep ordering there if it always comes like this. It has never come this bad and usually I can wipe it off. I try not to be "that" person that complains for small things. But today it came with MELTED PLASTIC, which is why I finally decided to speak up. So sorry, but you can’t blame the driver if many drivers are having the same problem.
EDIT 2) They also said "pay attention to how you talk before saying someone was rude"… I only called to ask about how to solve it at first. It is not my job to know how exactly their relationship with Uber Eats works. I asked questions and the person on the telephone started screaming and wouldn’t stop, not even letting me explain, they even blamed me for not seeing the faulty order straight away.
The fact that they are still trying to blame it on me on their response is very telling of how they work. I reported it to Uber Eats alright, but that still doesn’t resolve the food with melted plastic and rudeness of the staff.
This is my first and will remain my last Google review... but after more than 30 years of visiting the pizzeria snack bar at the Kreishaus, it deserves it like no one else.
In these years the incomparable quality has remained unchanged, in my opinion there is no other Greek restaurant or snack bar that can even remotely compete with this in the Bergisch city triangle... and I have visited almost all of them. In addition to the meat dishes, the fantastic pizzas and the salads, the French fries and the mayonnaise have not been available anywhere better since the world champions closed in Remscheid (RIP Uwe).
Above all, however, is the lifeblood of this family business, which is second to none... as others have described here several times, you come home from home when you stop there... and always the question: "Christian, drink You an ouzo?"... God how I missed them during the absurd Corona period.
Thank you for over 30 years and here's to the next 30 dear Costa and team, Yamas!.
.... so, today (8/21/24) I would like to reiterate all of this again.
Arrived spontaneously at 9:20 p.m. and received a perfect grill plate for two people, with delicious meat, salad, etc...
