The Pasta Room in Berlin

People who have been there once will come back again. I came here after receiving a recommendation from people around me. Every single menu item is delicious. The lunch menu changes every day. It's a place you never get tired of coming every day. I tried it and it was delicious so I came back again. Highly recommended.

I don't know who gives the good reviews here, but I definitely won't come here again. Firstly, the smell in the restaurant - it smells like a basement that you have to smell the whole time you're there. Secondly, the pasta: I took the pasta with beef fillet, and many pieces were fatty. I told the waiter, he agreed but didn't do anything - as if I didn't know the meat was fatty without his confirmation. Thanks. The pasta itself was also kind of greasy. The wine (Primitivo) was terrible, we didn't finish it. The waiter didn't even ask why… but the service was good! Nevertheless, I will never come here again.

Little gem in Berlin. Family business that produces all the pasta itself and fresh and creates wonderful dishes with great sauces. The salads are also great and taste really fresh and different than the standard Italian dishes. Service from the junior boss was great...

I noticed it by chance because of the appealing ambience. Unusually cozy atmosphere, very good and friendly advice regarding the choice of food, excellent pasta (tagliatelle with osso buco, spaghetti with lobster sauce), incredibly good price-performance ratio. I will definitely come back on my next visit to Berlin.

Here the pasta is made in-house, every dish is a taste experience. Creative and fresh cuisine, fresh salads and homemade desserts, a great ambience and super courteous service. You can also buy fresh pasta to take home here.

The service is friendly, but rather slow. It took a while before we could place our order. I finished my drink, but nobody checks on that and asks whether I would like something else to drink. they should hire more staff. Price includes some bread and oil, and a shot in the end. Toilet is very clean.

Food, service and price/performance ratio are great. We had classic pasta Bolognese and a scampi spinach risotto - both above average. The only thing that could be improved was the background music. Changing program from radio, web station and others...

The food is ok, but overall, sadly, the pasta is a bit overhyped in regards to taste. The dough is always on the softer side—which, while normal for Germany, I did find surprising given they smake their own dough. the taste of the sauces is good but often lacks depth and refinement. They do offer the Italian pasta standards though (I had a good true carbonara the other day, but also an awful lasagna lacking becciamella another time which the staff was friendly enough to take off the bill), and they offer a convenient lunch option on weekdays which includes an espresso which is very nice. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. I was very hopeful for pasta room to become a standard as there aren't too many authentic pasta places in Berlin. As it is, I'm a bit sad they couldn't deliver on the taste front.

We can really only recommend the Pasta Room. We particularly liked the starter with the baked goat cheese.

Were here for the first time and were really pleasantly surprised: the staff is incredibly nice and helpful. The pasta itself is incredibly delicious!!! I've been dreaming about this pasta for two days, I want to eat this pasta again so much! Definitely coming several more times.

The vegetables taste of nothing, quality, you often don't get what you order, 4 ingredients are missing from a salad of 8, and the waitress tends to mix up the ingredients when it comes to cocktails. Unfortunately, the quality of the food has deteriorated over time.

The best restaurant where everything you eat is delicious! ! ! I was so moved by the squid ink fettuccine that I thought, ``Is there anything this delicious in the world?'' I feel better when the waiter shaves cheese onto my pasta right in front of me. I also appreciate the espresso service after the meal. As a Japanese person, I was happy that the store clerk's older brother was a fan of Jujutsu Kaisen. This is one of the stores I have to visit again when I come to Berlin. Payment is cash only.

So I really don't understand how the good reviews came about. It's a real shame the food just didn't taste like anything and something was missing.

I went there a few days ago for the first time and I ordered an Amatriciana, it was spectacular. A cuddle. The service is very good, the guys in the room are very kind and the environment is warm and welcoming. I will definitely be back!

The two of us had dinner in the Pasta Room on a Monday evening. The atmosphere is very idyllic, typically Italian. The owner and waitress are very friendly and attentive. We were able to put together our pasta the way we wanted. The pasta was very tasty and everything was completely homemade. The carpaccio + bread and the Prosecco are also highly recommended. 🍝

At first glance it seems very comfortable. But the food is below average. Don't let the good reviews fool you. Waiting times were also unreasonable.

Were there for dinner as a couple. Including 1x gnocchi and pasta with butter sage sauce. Per: - Only the pasta was really good and tasty. - Served bread for free. Cons: - Sauces weren't that flavorful. For the Gnocchi Sorrentina, normal tomatoes - with stems - were used (no dates or cherry tomatoes were used, at least the sauce was more of a transparent red or stretched, a branded tomato manufacturer would have been a better choice). - Instead of gratinated, I was served cold mozzarella in the middle of the plate. And there were no gnocchi underneath. It seemed like they skimped on pasta in order to fill the plate. The portion was really poor. At least there was free bread That leads me to the price: Given the pasta quality and the poor preparation, I give it 3 out of 5 stars. Authentic is different. I come from the corner :) 15-16€ depending on the pasta portion. You can pay, but then I expect everything to be much tastier! The real Italian would definitely complain. This can be better 😉 Drinks for a small bottle of bitter lemon €3.50. This is an announcement! Service not qualified: You can tell that there are no Italians working. Nice, but hardly any idea. A few words were spoken here and there in Italian, but that was it. Didn't respond to my Italian (and yes, mine is authentic:). To make a conditional recommendation: it was my first and unfortunately last visit. I still tipped at least 10%. There is a need to catch up. Good luck!

I would have liked to give more than 5 stars. It was a really nice evening all around. I can only recommend The Pasta Room. The food was delicious, the service was very friendly and the atmosphere was perfect. A visit there is worth it. Thank you very much and I'll be happy to come back.

Google maps indicates that they accept card payments. But that's not the case. I kindly offered them to remove incorrect information from maps, but they declined. The waiter hospitably suggested taking a walk to the ATM. (What a great offer!) But in the end, they did find PayPal. At the very end, the waiter asked me which country I was from. He guessed Ukraine (missed, but close) and said it says a lot. (Maybe it's common in Albanian culture to interact with customers this way.) Naturally, they didn't provide me with a cash receipt or invoice at the end.

We spent a wonderful women's day in The Pasta Room, where the food was of course very convincing, but what particularly stood out was the service, which took touching care of the special needs of my obviously pregnant wife. Thank you! We'll definitely be back!

Chanced upon this hidden gem tucked away in a back street. Excellent service paired with awesome food and a great atmosphere. I tried the lasagne classico with the house red wine and was more than satisfied. Wine was a montapulciano. The bread served was excellent as well - chewy crust with soft center and great taste, paired with evoo. I almost ate the whole thing. Cash only, so plan for that.

I haven't had such good pasta in a long time. We were actually looking for another store, which we didn't find in the end. Walked past the Pasta Room by chance and it looked inviting. The service was courteous and friendly. The food was a culinary delight. The main course took a while to arrive, the shop was well attended. But it was worth it. Absolute recommendation!

A very nice, small and quiet restaurant. The atmosphere is pleasant and very cozy thanks to the fireplace. The conditions are friendly and the food is very tasty. This is all about pasta. The special feature: for some dishes you can individually choose the pasta that suits you. Unfortunately we were forgotten after the main course. All in all, a lovely evening!

Tatsächlich die beste Pasta die ich je gegessen habe. Auch der Vorspeisenteller war top! Zudem ist das Personal sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Ambiente gefällt mir auch - ist eher modern / Geschmackssache. Preise sind angemessen. Ich werde wiederkommen.

Positiv: der Gastraum ist wirklich schön. Essen: ein bisschen mehr Aroma wäre schon nicht verkehrt. Letztlich haut man Parmesan und Pfeffer und Salz drauf. Am besten waren die gefüllten Champignons. Service: Wir haben 1h zwischen Vorspeise und Hauptspeise gewartet. Zwischenzeitlich hieß zweimal "es kommt gleich". Am Ende waren alle, die nach uns gekommen sind, versorgt. Als das Essen dann letztendlich kam - keine Entschuldigung, kein freundliches Wort. Einfach abgestellt. Daher ein überzeugtes NIE WIEDER.

Wow! Amazing pasta and sauces. Really, thoroughly enjoyed the food, the selection and the very friendly waitress. Paying separately was also not an issue, which was a pheasant surprise after some of our usual spots aren't too accommodating. If you love pasta, this is the place for you!

Fantastische hausgemachte Pasta zu sehr fairen Preisen.. Service ist auch deutlich besser als in Berlin gewohnt.. Amatriciana war noch nie so gut. Parmesan wird frisch am Tisch persönlich gerieben und es gab noch einen Espresso aufs Haus! War begeistert!

Kleine Auswahl an Gerichten aber dafür sehr lecker. Hausgemachte Nudel. Freundliches Personal. Super Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Kann ich nur weiterempfehlen. Wir kommen definitiv nochmal wieder.

Die kinderfreundliche Atmosphäre und das angenehme Ambiente haben den Aufenthalt besonders angenehm gestaltet. Dieser Ort verdient definitiv eine Empfehlung, wenn Sie exzellente Pasta in einer herzlichen Umgebung genießen möchten. Wir werden aufjedenfall wieder kommen und das Restaurant weiterempfehlen!

Nachdem ich das Restaurant regelmäßig zum Mittagessen aufgesucht habe, lasse ich mal eine Bewertung da. Ich kann das Restaurant uneingeschränkt empfehlen, sehr gute Pasta und Salate, freundliche Bedienung, faires Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Nach der Rechnung bekommt man immer einen Espresso oder Schnaps angeboten, perfekt.

Small hidden place where con have a big variety of pasta, cooked with delicious sauces. Everything is there is good, first and main dishes, dessert, ambient inside, staff. Difficult to have a better experience. Just note that payment has to be done with cash.

Die von uns bestellten Pasta-Gerichte und auch der Salat waren auf der Karte sehr gut beschrieben und schmeckten hervorragend, vor allem auch richtig gut gewürzt und Parmesan gab es frisch gerieben oben drauf. Super freundlicher italienischer Service. Wir können dieses Lokal allen Pastafans nur empfehlen!

Such a lovely (and a little bit of hidden) place with superb friendly staff and a fantastic selection of SELFMADE noodle’s dishes, salads and drinks. The food was amazing, super fresh and at a very fair price-value-ratio. We have had here the best pasta dishes in a long, long time. Starters and deserts are amazing as well! I can highly recommend this place for anyone who is into pasta and in general looking for a lovely place to stay for a few minutes/hours! 5 stars!!

Ordentliche Nudeln sind nicht einfach, aber hier hat man es wirklich drauf: Top Qualität, top Service und auch der Style ist genau mein Ding. Mein liebster Mittagstisch, der auch preislich kaum zu toppen. Meine Nudelempfehlung für Charlottenburg. Wir gehen regelmässig hin und wurden nie enttäuscht.

Übersichtliche Karte mit schönen Fotos von allen Pastasorten - Die Campanelli waren lecker , für meinen Geschmack nicht al dente genug und leider ziemlich fad. Dafür kann der Service hier überzeugen - nett, schnell, aufmerksam, danke!

Excelente restaurante. La pasta estaba deliciosa, y el café fué el mejor que hemos tomado en Berlin. El personal amabilísimo y el local es precioso. Recomendable 100%
