Old menu online (prices wrong, much higher in the restaurant!!!) one of the four pasta dishes was overcooked.

The food and atmosphere are very good. The wine and beer are excellent. The staff is very friendly. It's a shame that card payments aren't accepted for a certain period of time. Having to leave the restaurant and go to a bank is more than regrettable and inconvenient.

I was at the Pasta Room on Friday, and as always, the waitresses were very nice. I had lasagna, which tasted great. Unfortunately, the pasta was much too soft. My friend had the same experience: the pasta was too soft and the Gorgonzola sauce was too watery. It's a shame it's not the same as before. I'll definitely try it again. The chef isn't the same anymore, unfortunately. The new chef should season the pasta. Pasta must be al dente.

In short: - Waited an hour for food - Beetroot pasta arrived without beetroot - Leftover "beetroot" pasta was packaged with carbonara: Not suitable for helal --- Hey everyone, It's a real shame that I have to give you this review. You were so kind and caring, but also far too chaotic – and ultimately, unfortunately, a disappointment. There are quite a few points that you should definitely take for improvement. The situation: The restaurant was quite quiet at the time we were there. Some tables were already eating or even finished eating, and another table was occupied about ten minutes after us. We ordered beetroot and goat cheese pasta (vegetarian, due to helal) and one carbonara. (This will be important later.) It took quite a while before we could even order. It took a whole hour for the food to arrive. The table that ordered ten minutes after us had already been served. You noticed and/or were uncomfortable with the fact that it was taking so long, which is why you proactively informed us twice that it would be right there. But we were already extremely hungry upon arrival. At some point, we couldn't stand it anymore, got up, and left. You even ran after us and said the food was ready. Rather reluctantly, I sat down again and ate, as I had already decided against eating. The beetroot pasta came without beetroot. You have to let that sink in first. :D When asked, you explained that it wasn't in stock because the chef was unavailable and everything was chaotic. Here's my feedback: Yes, I absolutely understand that the restaurant business isn't easy and mistakes happen. But please be transparent when ordering if a dish can't be served as stated—then at least you have a choice. We didn't finish the food because we weren't hungry due to the circumstances and the long wait (some people know this). We had it wrapped up, but both pasta dishes were placed in a single container. The taste was already pretty wild, but it was a complete no-go for my boyfriend, as his pasta came into contact with the meat in the carbonara. You gave us dessert for free – thank you so much! But as you can see, we couldn't eat that either. In the end, we paid 45 euros. And that's actually the point that disappointed me the most. I would have hoped that you would have been more accommodating in this situation, or even invited us to come back. Unfortunately, our first experience left such a lasting impression on us that we won't be coming back. We were actually going to leave and didn't even want to eat it anymore... I've honestly never sat at a table feeling so disappointed – your waiter noticed that too, as I was sitting there looking pretty dejected (yes, I was really exhausted...). It's just a real shame. I hope you manage to overcome the hurdle you've admitted to yourself soon.

The food itself was pretty good. It filled me up, but if you just want to get stuffed and aren't interested in the experience and ambiance, get something else with your money. The price was reasonable, and the service was good too. The waiter was friendly, but sometimes he used a bit of a twangy, juvenile language. But in a good way. Only 3 stars, though, because on a Wednesday evening (9 p.m.) we had to wait almost an hour for our food. In conclusion: If you're nearby, have €20 to spare, and are in the mood for some really good pasta, it's worth a visit.

My boyfriend loves this place; I'd love to eat there too, but unfortunately, they don't have gluten-free pasta. Please, please, please support this. Especially with pasta, it's so easy, and it doesn't go bad. The Le Veneziane gluten-free pasta tastes almost like fresh pasta. It would be really great!!

I find €16 for a vegetarian lasagna to go a bit steep. What really annoyed me, though, was that half the vegetables were celery. :(

Edit 07/23/25: This is where the penny pinchers are starting to erode everything. Service has deteriorated significantly. So much so that I even had to help another guest get new cutlery after it had been taken away from him – for whatever reason. My pasta was almost overcooked, the sauce was nothing special, and the lunch special has increased from €9.90 to €11.50 to €12.50, depending on the dish. The price increase would be perfectly fine if the quality had remained the same across the board. So, this was my last visit to the Pasta Room! **************************************************************** My original 5-star review: Everything tastes great here! Fresh pasta in many variations and with a variety of sauces always melts in your mouth. The very friendly service, with a smile, brings more sauce or grated cheese upon request, which I really appreciate. The ambiance is also very nice. I really enjoy coming to The Pasta Room. The lunch prices are particularly commendable!

The pasta is really, really good, and the variety is unusually wide. The waitress recommended a very successful combination of antipasti. What annoys me is that it's not indicated anywhere that payment is cash only. That really shouldn't be the case in 2025.

Pasta fanatics, rejoice. This place clearly takes their noodles seriously. They're made fresh, and paired with authentic, no-nonsense sauces. You'll find classics like Aglio, Olio e Peperoncino, Carbonara, and Ragu made authentically. There's no cream in the Carbonara here. At the same time, you'll find a few experimental options, such as with fried eggplant. Apart from some great salad, you won't find much more than pasta, but what did you expect from The Pasta Room?

A very nice restaurant where the pasta machines for handmade pasta are right in the dining room. The food was excellent and the service was extremely attentive and friendly. See you next time!

Actually the food is great. But upon repeated requests, I was refused a glass of tap water, even though I also had red wine. Plus, you can only pay in cash, so the operators are probably evading taxes too.

A small but beautiful pasta restaurant. We love the decor and the aesthetic choices of the restaurant. There are multiple pasta options we tried the Lamb Ragout and the Aubergine pasta. Both of them tasted great. Lamb ragout had a distinct meat flavour and a mild tomato sauce. The Aubergine pasta was the best of the two, the tomato sauce was perfect. Both pastas were paired with freshly grated Parmesan. The price performance ratio is really good. Portion sizes are very good. We were super hungry and it filled us up well. Definitely will go again to try more varieties.

The best pasta in Berlin! The selected ingredients harmonize perfectly with each other and the dishes are pure enjoyment. We spontaneously went out for dinner in the evening and were assigned a comfortable place. The atmosphere in The Pasta Room is simply wonderful, including craftsmanship, authentic decorations and very friendly service. We liked it so much that we went there for lunch on the day of our departure. Absolute recommendation!

It’s always great to find a restaurant where you feel genuinely welcomed, and The Pasta Room was exactly that. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by Leo—the only person working that evening. Despite managing everything on his own, he was incredibly warm, attentive, and made sure we had a great experience. Leo helped us pick the perfect dishes. We went with the Ragu and the Bucatini Puttanesca, and both were spot on. The ragu was rich and hearty, with slow-cooked meat that melted in every bite. The bucatini puttanesca had just the right balance of briny, garlicky flavors with perfectly cooked pasta. To finish, we had a classic tiramisu, which was light, creamy, and had just the right hit of espresso. It was the perfect way to end the meal. If you’re looking for great Italian food with warm, personal service, The Pasta Room is definitely worth a visit. And if Leo is there, trust his recommendations—you won’t be disappointed! We came here spontaneously. Quite inconspicuous from the outside (in winter), but a great atmosphere from the inside. It's just a small place. But the service enabled us to get one of the coveted tables after a short wait. The pasta is freshly produced and is incredibly delicious! Fresh bread is served with it - which is way better than at many bakeries. The espresso is also a dream. We'll definitely be back!

Aside from the darkness and uncomfortable chairs, the raw noodles and pasta are very delicious. The bread and olive oil before the meal are delicious.

A little off the beaten track and specializing in pasta. Starter (Vitello Tonnato) and main courses were perfect. What should be highlighted is the friendly, unobtrusive but attentive service. You can definitely eat really good pasta here and end the rest of the evening with wine and other delicacies. 👍🏻 we'll definitely be back.

Discovered the Pasta Room by chance 2 years ago. What a surprise: the best pasta in Berlin is available here. Every lunchtime different pasta with very tasty preparation. Very friendly and helpful service. You can really tell that the young woman enjoys her work. Since then I've been there once or twice every week.

My dad visits me in Berlin every year, and when he does, we eat at The Pasta Room at least once a week. ALL of the pastas are amazing, and the staff incredibly kind/attentive. Definitely worth a visit. :)

I don't know who gives the good reviews here, but I definitely won't come here again. Firstly, the smell in the restaurant - it smells like a basement that you have to smell the whole time you're there. Secondly, the pasta: I took the pasta with beef fillet, and many pieces were fatty. I told the waiter, he agreed but didn't do anything - as if I didn't know the meat was fatty without his confirmation. Thanks. The pasta itself was also kind of greasy. The wine (Primitivo) was terrible, we didn't finish it. The waiter didn't even ask why… but the service was good! Nevertheless, I will never come here again.

Little gem in Berlin. Family business that produces all the pasta itself and fresh and creates wonderful dishes with great sauces. The salads are also great and taste really fresh and different than the standard Italian dishes. Service from the junior boss was great...

I noticed it by chance because of the appealing ambience. Unusually cozy atmosphere, very good and friendly advice regarding the choice of food, excellent pasta (tagliatelle with osso buco, spaghetti with lobster sauce), incredibly good price-performance ratio. I will definitely come back on my next visit to Berlin.

Here the pasta is made in-house, every dish is a taste experience. Creative and fresh cuisine, fresh salads and homemade desserts, a great ambience and super courteous service. You can also buy fresh pasta to take home here.

The service is friendly, but rather slow. It took a while before we could place our order. I finished my drink, but nobody checks on that and asks whether I would like something else to drink. they should hire more staff. Price includes some bread and oil, and a shot in the end. Toilet is very clean.

Food, service and price/performance ratio are great. We had classic pasta Bolognese and a scampi spinach risotto - both above average. The only thing that could be improved was the background music. Changing program from radio, web station and others...

The food is ok, but overall, sadly, the pasta is a bit overhyped in regards to taste. The dough is always on the softer side—which, while normal for Germany, I did find surprising given they smake their own dough. the taste of the sauces is good but often lacks depth and refinement. They do offer the Italian pasta standards though (I had a good true carbonara the other day, but also an awful lasagna lacking becciamella another time which the staff was friendly enough to take off the bill), and they offer a convenient lunch option on weekdays which includes an espresso which is very nice. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. I was very hopeful for pasta room to become a standard as there aren't too many authentic pasta places in Berlin. As it is, I'm a bit sad they couldn't deliver on the taste front.

The vegetables taste of nothing, quality, you often don't get what you order, 4 ingredients are missing from a salad of 8, and the waitress tends to mix up the ingredients when it comes to cocktails. Unfortunately, the quality of the food has deteriorated over time.

The best restaurant where everything you eat is delicious! ! ! I was so moved by the squid ink fettuccine that I thought, ``Is there anything this delicious in the world?'' I feel better when the waiter shaves cheese onto my pasta right in front of me. I also appreciate the espresso service after the meal. As a Japanese person, I was happy that the store clerk's older brother was a fan of Jujutsu Kaisen. This is one of the stores I have to visit again when I come to Berlin. Payment is cash only.
