Café Casero - Frühstück Kreuzberg Berlin in Berlin

We went to Casero with some friends on a Sunday for brunch. It was not packed and we could enjoy a nice Sunday all together there. Inside the cafe is nice and charming. I got the Istanbul breakfast. The taste was rather on the bland side. Overall I found the food too expensive for what it was ( other friends also shared similar opinions with respected to what they got)

unexpectedly small servings, pancakes the size of a toddler’s palm, flavor of everything was unremarkable. one of those breakfast experiences where you think “we should’ve just eaten at home”. the servers were nice

Varied menu, delicious coffee and freshly squeezed juice. Good atmosphere Pleasant staff.

It's been a while since we were able to enjoy our breakfast there. But I would still like to leave a review because we really enjoyed the breakfast and remember the owner as being really friendly and nice. We will definitely come back on our next trip to Berlin. ☺️

We quickly received the menu, which took a long time for us to order (about 8 minutes), then we were told there was no Fassbrause (but it was on the menu). It took another good 10 minutes until we got the food (for breakfast). The food was poor. For two breakfast portions there were 2 baked rolls and 4 half, small slices of simple brown bread, there was very little butter, and that wasn't justified for the prices. The female waiter was at least friendly.

Good food and really friendly and competent gastro-experienced staff, varied menu, everything fresh, good coffee, healthy smoothies and we felt very welcome in small and large groups.

Despite the height of summer, there is a shady spot outside the restaurant. Very friendly service (dogs were given water without being asked) Breakfast contained fresh components (fruit, vegetables) and homemade spreads, so incredibly tasty and appealing

The breakfast was very tasty. The staff was nice, but a bit too forward. Some were still eating and others had already been cleared away. The outside area on the street is very nice to sit. I would go here again.

Super fresh juices, café and breakfast options in a quiet, large atmosphere

This is the second time ive been here during a trip to Berlin. The staff are always very friendly and the food is good and affordable, especially for the amount you get. Its also very family friendly. Will absolutely be coming here next time im hungover in Berlin for a good breakfast! Cash only!

I stumbled upon this place by chance and was immediately charmed by the owner’s friendliness and warmth. The food was not only delicious but also generously portioned, leaving me satisfied. atmosphere of the restaurant was cozy. Everything was perfect!

Were visiting Berlin for a week. Right after the first visit, it was clear that we wanted to make breakfast at Casero a tradition before our daily explorations. Pleasant ambience, friendly service and a super delicious breakfast, the Power Red Bowl kept me energized well into the day. Whenever we are in Berlin we always like to come back

Friendly staff, the place was rather dark and dim, the avocado toast was unfortunately dripping with oil, the oat capuccino was okay.

I ordered a caprese panini and a smoothie with oranges apples and ginger. They were both good. Service was very friendly and the atmosphere was a bit loud as it is right next to the Main Street and the subway line. Please note, they accept CASH ONLY.

Great restaurant, where we spontaneously got something with a reservation. The service is very friendly and knows the products very well. All meat products are halal. The menu offers a large selection of breakfast creations. Delicious breakfast, good portions. Toilets are upstairs. Card payment possible.

We had the Amsterdam breakfast once. Unfortunately, this is too much spread/dips and not enough bread. The ratio isn't right. Nevertheless, the rolls and bread were okay, the spreads were rather mediocre. We also had porridge, which was very good. Not too mushy, just a perfect consistency. In general, the feeling here is very pleasant and the service is very friendly.

Cozy atmosphere, the breakfast was delicious, there were six of us there and we all felt comfortable. Very friendly treatment of the guests! Thanks

Went to this interesting restaurant for the first time today, the breakfast was very tasty and made with love. The service was nice and courteous. A place worth visiting!!

In the middle of Kreuzberg, if you sit outside, strange characters sometimes walk around. Food was great, service good. Everything was very nicely prepared and delicious. But: no card payment? Well, later I understood why: the innkeeper had two iPads, apparently an "unofficial" and an "official" one, because when I wanted the hospitality receipt, he was stressed: he really had to copy every item from the "unofficial" one " Transferring the Ipad to the "official" Ipad.... So it's not because of the card commissions that no card payment is offered, but because of the chance to be able to settle unofficially here and there, I think. A pity.

Super nice and nice cafe! Thanks to the beautiful avenue in which it is located, you hardly notice that it is in Kreuzberg. ;) There is a very good selection, there is something for everyone. Little tip: the pancakes are indispensable! (I only have the photo with the child, so it won't be posted). The waitresses there are also extremely nice and open to a little chat. You feel very comfortable here, I'd love to come back! Prices are also completely reasonable.

I enjoyed a wonderful breakfast at this cafe! The food was absolutely delicious and you could really taste that everything was fresh and homemade. The selection was varied and there is something for everyone - vegetarians, vegans and meat eaters too. The service is friendly, humorous and accommodating. I would recommend this cafe to anyone who wants to experience a great breakfast and service. Five stars from me!

Good menu, but too bad there were 4 tables free outside, not used for an hour but we were told the were reserved.

Wonderful cafe. Despite the street, you can sit nicely under green trees. The service was very friendly and accommodating. The food was also extremely tasty and the portions were large enough to fill you up. Unfortunately you could only pay in cash, but that's not a problem if you know in advance. I can only recommend this cafe.

Cute café and nice, quick service. Unfortunately the bread basket at breakfast was a bit disappointing. There was a very hard, crumbly roll per person (probably baked the day before) and 2 half slices of gray bread from the supermarket. 14€ is a bit too steep for that. But the toppings were very tasty and beautifully presented.

빈에서 살다가 와서 그런가 6.9유로에 이런 팬케이크를 먹을 수 있고 2.9유로에 카푸치노+비스킷을 먹을 수 있다는 데 감격했어요🥹 거기다가 카푸치노 우유거품 완전 맛있고.. 팬케이크 과일 진짜 달고 상큼 그 자체 손님이 많긴 한데 공간이 넓어서 시끄러운 분위기는 아니에요, 다만 스탭분들이 다 바빠서 아이컨택하기 힘드니까 주문받으러 처음 왔을 때 주문하셔요~ 그거 빼곤 진짜 완벽. 담에 베를린 오면 무조건 재방문하려구요

Richtig schönes Café/Restaurant. Haben zu viert gefrühstückt und die Auswahl ist sehr gut und alles was wir gegessen haben, war sehr lecker. Sehr nette Mädels als Bedienung. Man sollte Sonntags reservieren. Parkplätze sind Glückssache in den Straßen. Wir hatten Glück🤗 Kommen gerne wieder👍☺

Je m'y suis arrêté avec la bande pour manger un frühstük ( petit déjeuner en allemand mais équivalent brunch). C'est très bon, les plats copieux, servis rapidement et dans la bonne humeur. Allez y ca vaut le coup !! Et pas cher !!

Waren da für ein Früstück mit 11 Schülern aus Frankreich. Tolles Essen, tolle Stimmung, einer hat sogar Klavier gespielt. Alle waren total begeistert. Danke!

Essen war super lecker. Waren zu viert da. Zubereitung hat etwas länger gedauert, hat man uns aber schon vorher gesagt. Preislich okay. Mitarbeiter waren alle sehr freundlich.

Service war super lieb, Frühstück war okay. Ambiente ganz gemütlich aber etwas zugig. Was mich wirklich stört in 2023: 50 Cent für Hafermilch. Bei 4 Bestellungen mit Hafermilch habt ihr den Liter Oatly Barista wieder drin. Bisschen frech mMn. Außerdem wäre die Nachfrage doch sehr viel größer, wenn man nicht so abgezogen werden würde.

Wir haben auf unsere Städtereise in der Nähe des Cafés Casero gewohnt und hier morgens gefrühstückt. Neben den leckeren Kaffeespezialitäten, haben wir auch noch sehr köstlich gefrühstückt; verschiedenes vom Frühstücksmenü ausprobiert.Wir wurden sehr freundlich und familiär empfangen und wir haben uns sehr wohl und willkommen gefühlt. Danke schön an das Team von Casero.

Wir waren leider nicht zufrieden. Der Kaffee war bitter. Der Brotkorb zum Frühstück war lachhaft klein mit billigen Aufbackbrötchen. Zum Rührei gab es nur eine halbe Scheibe Brot. Die Auswahl ist aber schön, die Bedienungen freundlich. Aber alles in allem waren wir enttäuscht.

Wir haben die Pancakes mit Nutella & Banane gegessen! Super nette Kellner und mega leckeres essen. Würde ich in Berlin leben wäre ich Stammkunde!

Amazing place to go with your beloved one. We went on the weekend and it was very lovely. The indoors is slightly warm, but after some minutes it was ok, the food was amazing in my opinion and it came very fast, much faster than other places.

Service sehr schlecht Kommt dir garnicht entgegen Gibt dir irgendein platz in der Ecke lässt dich da warten Ausstattung sieht aus wie ein schlechter Horrorfilm Würde ich keinem empfehlen Sind aufgestanden und ein anderes Café gegangen das tausendmal besser war

Haben sehr gut gefrühstückt. Der Avocado Stramme Max war super! Ein Stern Abzug weil man nur bar zahlen konnte.

Naja. Service eher mittelmäßig und angebotenes Essen ebenso Durchschnitt. Kakao war der schlechteste den ich je getrunken habe, da er offensichtlich mit heißem Wasser und etwas Milch zubereitet wird. Das Croissant war jedoch gut. Kartenzahlung war möglich. Die Kunden-Toiletten waren leider äußerst dreckig. Es bleibt bei einem einmaligen Besuch.
