A small, fine restaurant with a lot of heart. The staff is extremely friendly, and the atmosphere in the restaurant is pleasant and inviting. I particularly like the vegetarian roll, which changes regularly. It never gets boring. My absolute favorite is the version with the mushroom patty; it's simply delicious. I highly recommend this lovely little restaurant.

Super nice service and delicious classics like schnitzel with potato salad and everything in organic quality. Good value for money, nice atmosphere with tables outside and also a nice interior.

Very tasty dishes. We have veal schnitzel and cream mushrooms. Both very good and the service is very nice and friendly. The nightstand was delicious. The restaurant is not big and simple but we felt very comfortable. Is open at lunchtime and in the evening for private events. Highly recommended

Nice restaurant and nice service

This little sister or brother of my favorite Berlin restaurant Engelbecken, a few doors down toward the lovely Lietzensee at Witzlebenplatz, is a really welcome addition to our neighborhood or Kiez, as the Berliners call their hang-out area. As we only had the rather boring and for the quality of food and cakes rather expensive, Cafe Manstein on the corner of Witzlebenstr for lunch and coffee. And the cozu Brot and Schokolade with their Daily menu of 2-3 soups and cakes like a really brilliant Cheesecake and Brownies, baked and cooked by the gifted proprietress! And served by Georg, the stoic husband and server, on Steifensandstr a few doors up.

Great culinary delights, unobtrusive atmosphere. Only the cranberries with the organic veal schnitzel announced on the menu were forgotten.

Rösti could be a little crispier. Otherwise everything is wonderful. Outdoor chairs with felt cushions. Very pleasant.

Sehr gute bajuwarische Küche, ich kann Wiener Schnitzel und den Sekt von der Mosel sehr empfehlen. An einem Dienstagmittag waren viel Gäste aus dem Kiez hier, netter Service.

Top Qualität, top Service und Tegernseer vom Fass 👌

Dieses nur unter der Woche geöffnete Lunch Restaurant ist definitiv immer zu empfehlen wenn man Mal was in der Semmel haben will (nicht nur langweiliger Leberkäse, nein auch die vegetarischen Sachen sind kreativ und lecker) oder vielleicht auch was vom bayerisch angehauchten Mittagsangebot. Semmeln ca 8 Euro, Mittagsangebot zwischen 12-14 Euro. Es gibt ein paar Plätze draußen.

Tolles kleines Lokal, mit hochwertigen Mittagstisch. Karte wechselt auch wöchentlich, deswegen immer wieder was neues.

Tolles Konzept! Sehr leckere Semmeln. Außerdem wechselnde Tagesgerichte die einfach nur spitze sind. Hier kann man öfter zum Mittag hin . Sehr empfehlenswert.

Tolles, kreatives Angebot an Semmeln und liebevoll hergerichtete Beilagen. Auch Veganer/Vegetarier*innen kommen hier auf ihre Kosten. Hier wird nämlich besonderes darauf geachtet, dass man ein ebenso unvergessliches kulinarisches Erlebnis hat und greift nicht nur einfach zu Ersatzprodukten. Perfekte Uhrzeit für einen schnellen Lunch. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Wiener Backfleisch wie gewohnt sehr lecker und macht Freude beim Essen. Pfefferling Grünkern, Vegan und richtig lecker! Wir kommen wieder!

Die kleine Schwester ganz groß: tolles Angebot an süddeutsch-österreichischen Gerichten und leckeren Bieren! Alles in etwas kleinerer, handlicher Größe zum adäquaten Preis. Wie im großen Engelbecken wird auch hier die Qualität GROSS geschrieben. Zudem sind die Räume kreativ beeindruckend ausgestattet von der Künstlerin Marion Moutell, die zuvor auch die Küche gerockt hat! Ganz eindringliche Empfehlung!!

Wenn das Engelbecken zu voll ist, gibt es 3 Häuser weiter die dazugehörige Schankwirtschaft. Plätze drinnen und draußen, klein, aber fein. Ohne Reservierung! Die Portionen eher klein, dafür aber preiswerter, Schnitzel z.B. mit Gurken-Kartoffelsalat, 4-5 Vorspeisen, 2 Gerichte für Vegetarier, 2x Dessert. Guter Service in netter Straße nahe Lietzensee.
