Tehran Grill in Berlin

It looks simple and a bit "cheap" but the food is exquisite - authentic Persian (approved by demanding Iranians). Djudje and.Koobideh are great, so are all other typical foods. Not as cheap as it looks, but worth it.

Unfortunately, we were very disappointed. The dishes were clearly not prepared with real saffron, but merely colored – there was no saffron flavor whatsoever. The rice was undercooked and had no Persian aroma whatsoever. Overall, a very poor dining experience. We will not be returning and cannot recommend this restaurant to lovers of Persian cuisine. 👎🏻

The worst behavior I have ever met. They are so rude. These guys aren't Iranian. Everyone knows Iranian are so polite and clean.

We ordered kebab here last week. The kebab was completely burnt, had neither salt nor pepper, and was so greasy that you could barely taste the meat. This week, we wanted to give the restaurant another chance and order liver. However, upon entering, the server noticed the bottles of beer we had bought outside and were almost empty. He then criticized us in a very unpleasant tone—and so loudly that other guests could hear—for bringing our own drinks, even though we hadn't intended to drink the beer in the restaurant. The bottles had already been purchased, and we had actually planned to order something else to go with the liver dish. When we explained that the restaurant was very small and we hadn't expected drinks to be offered, and that the beer wasn't meant to be consumed anyway, the server protested again loudly in front of all the other guests. Our group then decided to leave the restaurant. Due to this unpleasant experience, as well as the poor food quality during our first visit, I am writing this review.

Delicious kebab, big portions, nice atmosphere and service! Everything tasted great, from the meat, grilled tomato, the salad and rice to the tea. The meat was really cooked perfectly! I will be definitely coming to eat here again :-)

Great small place to have authentic Iranian kebab. They have a nice variety and we tried Waziri and kubideh, both were excellent. The portion is good and the meat was cooked perfectly well, and it wasn't spicy. The staff were friendly and service was fast. It wasn't cheap for the portion size but it did tatse good.

All of Persian grill foods can be found with good quality. Nice people and service. Very satisfied.

Extremely delicious and friendly. Always ask in a restaurant what the staff likes if I don't know what they like. I was recommended lamb with a green rice mix. At €26, it's not super cheap, but that amount of lamb does cost a bit to buy. I would come back for the meat dishes. Not really suitable for vegetarians, although rice with sauce and salad would be possible for a group. The staff were very friendly.

The food was good; however, the behaviour of staff was not professional at all, we did not order; but they gave and pressured us to pay for one more meal, which they believed we ordered. Card payment is not possible, so they refer you to their own ATM, which you need to pay 5 Euro extra fee for cash withdraw. Totally unprofessional.

Had the Kubeideh dish for €15. Two fairly large lamb kebab skewers with rice and salad. Was super tasty and a large portion. Recommended.

In my opinion, they have the best Persian kebabs and "Del'o Jigar" in Berlin. I wish they could deliver beyond their region 🥲.

We ordered a mixed grill platter, a green salad, and a yogurt salad. The food was delicious. The portions were large enough for two people. The cleanliness of the place wasn't up to scratch, but it worked. The price was 46 euros. They only accept cash. There is an ATM near the restaurant.

Here you can find delicious and authentic Iranian grilled skewers with the typical delicious fluffy rice, plus grilled tomatoes, sabzi (fresh herbs), and salad. Plus, very friendly service and a super central location. Highly recommended.

Tried Iranian food here for the first time and it completely exceeded my expectations. The flavors were rich, authentic and beautifully balanced - from the perfectly grilled kebabs to the saffron rice and creamy dips. He charged me at least four euros more, even though I had only ordered a soltani (€18.80) and a small doogh (€3). In total he charged €27. In addition, the djudje was still raw and the toilet was not clean. Overall, I unfortunately have to say that Iranian restaurants often don't offer a fair price. I'm really sorry about that.

“I have food from this today Taken to Iranian restaurant When I got home and tried it I noticed that the food was completely hard and inedible. That's why I went back to the restaurant went and wanted to return it or exchange But the man argued with me instead of solving the problem. Really really delicious but way way too overpriced. It's about over 20 € for a mixed grill plate which is scandalous for a small spot that also serves to go boxes. I'd understand if it was a steakhouse or a proper restaurant but the owners must be delusional if the clientele they think they are attracting are going to pay such unacceptable sums. As said, it is not setup like a restaurant, seating arrangements are there but they are tight, near the grill and are practically not offering anything in terms of raising prices to such a degree. This place left me with question marks but i did have a good meal

For Iranian grill style, this is the best in Berlin! It’s a small place but the food is perfect and the price is low compared to the quality you get

The food and the portion is good and the staff are nice. The music is very bad and sad and it really makes you depressed when you want to enjoy your food. The toilet is awful and there is no lock in it. You need to hold the handle so nobody would join you!!

Excellent and delicious kebab Admin

The kebab was really great, especially the fillet kebab. The atmosphere was just like kebab places in Tehran, and the staff were excellent. Overall, I highly recommend it. After a long time, I felt like I was back in Iran.

I've always wanted to try Iranian food and finally had the opportunity - and it was totally worth it! The food was authentic and incredibly tasty, with great spices and perfectly balanced flavors. The service was friendly and attentive, and the price-performance ratio was absolutely right here. For anyone who wants to try something new or loves authentic Iranian cuisine, I highly recommend this restaurant. I'll definitely be back!

I ordered a sandwich and a portion of Lobia Polo from this little Iranian restaurant today and it was absolutely delicious! Everything was super fresh and very flavorful. I was particularly impressed by the value for money - really good value for the quality of the food. I will definitely eat here again and again, can only recommend it!

The restaurant has the yummiest and tastiest kebabs ... real authentic Persian style as if you're in Tehran and having the time of your dreams ... casual and dreamy too! The owner, Mr. Ali is a pleasant and decent man. Recently they have added a smart guy, Mr. Mehrdad, in management system that has made the business much more professional, artistic, and robust! My kudos to this brilliant young PhD student. So, if you fancy a cool Persian atmosphere with tasty kebabs with juicy Ayran (Dough) and onion + salad ... I kindly recommend you this lovely place!

Tehran Grill on Nollendorfplatz 7 is a cozy spot with a welcoming atmosphere. The food was acceptable, and the chef was incredibly friendly, making sure we felt at home. However, there's one thing worth noting: while they proudly display the Persian motto "Hot Bread, Hot Kabab," the experience felt incomplete without the authentic hot Sangak or Taftoon bread. It would be great if they could include these traditional breads to truly match the motto and elevate the overall dining experience. Despite this, it's still a decent place to enjoy some Persian cuisine in Berlin.

I ate Djuje Soltani and it was really tasty. I have also visited a few restaurants in Berlin and Hamburg, but I believe Tehran Grill is the best choice for this. :)

There is no name at all that they give such a bad meal..... and a stupid toilet that is worse and dirtier than the tunnel of horror. They only chose the name Gandab for their restaurant and it has a good area. Es passt überhaupt nicht der Namen dafür, dass es so ein schlechte Essen gibt..... und eine dunkel Toilette, die schlimmer und schmutziger ist als der Tunnel des Grauens. Sie haben nur den Namen Gandab für ihr Restaurant gewählt und es hat eine gute Gegend.

Best koubideh Kabab you may find in Berlin!

Imagine it as a very high class kebab, but no usual Döner place. It's mostly lamb and chicken. The sandwich in the basic version is 10€, but different larger meat variations are also available. The ayran is freshly self made and tasty. Service good.
