Ein super Restaurant mit super netter Bedienung und das Essen war einfach spitzen klasse! Noch nie so gut gegessen und es war mega schön angerichtet! Wir kommen gerne wieder und können es nur empfehlen!

Einfach alles super. Freundlicher Service, sehr saubere, offene Küche, hochwertige und liebevoll zubereitete Gerichte und das zum Top Preisleistungsverhältnis. Außerdem wird in der Tat nicht an der Größe der Portionen gespart.

Sehr schönes Speiselokal im Zentrum von Timmendorfer Strand. Sehr gute, ausgewogene Speisekarte mit großer Auswahl und großer Preisspanne. Soll heißen, es ist für jeden etwas dabei. Sehr höfliches, aufmerksames Personal. Kann man uneingeschränkt weiter empfehlen!

Wir waren während unseres Urlaubs gleich zweimal im Samoa, weil wir soooo begeistert waren! Zum Einen wurden wir sehr nett bedient und meine Tochter bekam gleich ein Ausmalbild mit Buntstiften. Zum Anderen war das Essen wirklich hervorragend, der Fisch war sehr lecker zubereitet und auch die Kinderportion war sehr gut. Als Gruß aus der Küche bekam meine Tochter zum Nachtisch sogar einen Eisbecher spendiert. 😋 Insgesamt waren wir mit Service, Qualität der Speisen und Getränke und Preis-Leistungsverhältnis sehr zufrieden und können das Restaurant nur weiterempfehlen!

Tolles Restaurant zum ausgehen, gute Musik im Hintergrund. Leider hat es sehr lange gedauert, bis unser Hauptspeise kam. Dafür kam die Vorspeise ziemlich schnell und man muss auch sagen, dass der Laden proppevoll war. Der Kellner mit der Brille war super lieb und zuvorkommend, die Preise sind so wie in allen guten Restaurants in Timmendorf recht hoch. Die Drinks waren super lecker

Tolle Küche, hervorragender Service.

Das Amniente sehr modern und chic, das Personal nett und aufmerksam und das Essen sehr lecker. Die Curry-Kokos-Suppe mit Garnele super lecker und die Schollen Büsumer bzw. Finkenwerder-Art waren eine ordentliche Portion. Die Beilagen lecker und reichen von der Menge her völlig aus. Wir hatten einen schönen Abend.

Ein rundum gelungener Abend: Der Service war außergewöhnlich aufmerksam und ist auf unsere Sonderwünsche eingegangen. Das moderne, gehobene Ambiente wird durch raffiniert komponierte, hervorragend zubereitete Speisen und ausgezeichnete Cocktails perfekt ergänzt. Wir waren als Paar dort und können das Restaurant uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

So viele Sterne, wie ich vergeben möchte, kann ich gar nicht angeben. Das Essen ist fantastisch und das Team des Samoa ist unfassbar freundlich und sehr kinderlieb.

Ein rundum außergewöhnliches Restauranterlebnis! Schon beim Betreten wird man von einem zauberhaften Ambiente empfangen, das sofort eine warme und einladende Atmosphäre schafft. Die geschmackvolle Einrichtung und die liebevollen Details sorgen dafür, dass man sich vom ersten Moment an wohlfühlt. Vom Eingang bis zu den Waschräumen sehr modern, sauber und stilvoll. Das Essen ist schlichtweg herausragend – unsere ausgewählten Gerichte überzeugten durch höchste Qualität, frische Zutaten und eine perfekt abgestimmte Zubereitung. Hier wird mit echter Leidenschaft gekocht, was man bei jedem Bissen schmeckt. Auch die Getränke verdienen ein besonderes Lob: Die Cocktails sind nicht nur kreativ angerichtet, sondern auch hervorragend ausbalanciert und unglaublich schmackhaft. Abgerundet wird das Ganze durch einen Service, der seinesgleichen sucht. Unsere Extrawünsche wurden freundlichst aufgenommen und fehlerfrei ausgeführt. Das Team ist aufmerksam, freundlich und professionell, ohne dabei aufdringlich zu wirken. Man fühlt sich rundum bestens betreut und als Gast wirklich wertgeschätzt. Einen Ort, den man unbedingt erlebt haben sollte – wir kommen garantiert wieder!

Sehr lecker, top Personal, kinderfreundlich, empfehlenswert

Das Samoa Restaurant befindet sich im Zentrum von Timmendorf und hat eine sehr schöne Ambiente und bietet einen Blick in die Küche. Es bietet neben den Sitzen im Restaurant auch eine schöne Terrasse direkt zur verkehrsberuhigten Straße / Fußgängerzone. Der Service ist gut, wir hatten einen sehr aufmerksamen Kellner und das Essen wurde schnell und heiß serviert. Doch fängt meine Kritik leider hier an. Mein Gericht (Kartoffeln, Spargel, Soße Hollandise und ein Kalbsschnitzel für knapp 40€) kam von der Tagesempfehlung und hat meinen Erwartungen (Preis / Leistung) nicht entsprochen. Die Kartoffeln waren ohne Geschmack und „Gummiartig“. - Das war auch Thema am Nachbartisch und somit nicht nur ein Einzelfall - Der lt. Karte frische deutsche Spargel war angebraten und es gab lediglich 6 dünne Stangen. Das Schnitzel war relativ groß jedoch das Fleisch zäh und auch diese hat mich leider geschmacklich nicht überzeugt. Insgesamt war ich nicht zufrieden. Die Gerichte meiner Gruppe vielen positiver aus. Da ich jedoch nur für mich sprechen kann, bewerte ich diese auch nicht. Dieses ist mein persönlicher Eindruck und Erfahrung am Tag des Besuches und soll niemanden diskreditieren oder beleidigen. Es stellt lediglich meine persönliche Meinung dar.

Super tolles Restaurant! Waren gestern spontan da essen, besser ist es zu reservieren. Exzellente Küche, freundliche und zuvorkommende Bedienung. Wenn man möchte, kann man auch einen Tisch bestellen, mit dem Blick in die Küche (durch Glasscheiben) das war schon spannend zu sehen.Geschmackvolles Ambiente des Restaurants und saubere Toiletten ( ist heute schon fast eine Seltenheit). Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Großartig! Wir waren zu 4 mit 2 Kindern gerade eben essen . Es war eine vielversprechende Karte und ein sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Restaurant. Der Kellner Ardian bediente uns schnell und umsichtig mit Witz und Charme es lud ein . Es war von den Trüffelpommes über Thunfischsteak in Sesammantel , Tagliatelle in Knoblauchöl alles köstlich. Mein absolutes Highlight mit bestem Dank an den Küchenchef Maschid gilt dem Ziegenkäse gratiniert mit WallnussFeigechutney auf Vollkorntaler und Salatbett es war eine Fest . Mein mit Abstand bestes Ziegenkäsegericht in Zusammenstellung und Geschmack seit langem. Klare Weiterempfehlung !!!!

Wir haben heute dort mit den Kindern zu Mittag gegessen und allen, auch den Kindern, was nicht oft der Fall ist, hat das Essen sehr gut geschmeckt. Das Essen war sehr gut und frisch zubereitet. Die Variationen sind zum Teil sehr ausgefallen, aber super lecker. Das Fischcurry war absolut top und dies habe ich so noch nirgendwo gegessen.

Essen und Service überzeugend, beim Sushi sollten m.E. die Saucen etwas zurückhaltender verwendet oder etwas zurückhaltender kreiert werden, da sie zarte Fischgeschmäcker überdecken (gilt nicht für die Mango-Sauce, die mich völlig überzeugte). Trotzdem kein Abzug bei den Punkten, das Gesamtergebnis immer noch fünf Sterne wert war. Auch das Ambiente überzeugt, allerdings saßen wir am Hoch Tisch gegenüber der Küche, was zeitweise etwas zu laut und etwas zu geruchsintensiv war.

Sehr zu empfehlen ist das Sushi wie man sehen kann, unglaublich große Portion und sehr hochwertiger Fisch wird serviert. Die Bedienung, insbesondere Anja, waren sehr zuvorkommend und hat den Abend perfekt abgerundet!

We had a truly perfect evening at Samoa Restaurant. From the moment we arrived, the restaurant impressed us with its wonderful atmosphere – stylish, modern, and incredibly cozy. The food was simply outstanding: fresh, creatively presented, and absolutely delicious. Every course was a real highlight. We were particularly impressed by the attention to detail – both on the plate and in the overall concept. The service was attentive, warm, and professional without being intrusive – exactly as you would want it. I would especially like to highlight the non-alcoholic options, which are unfortunately all too rare in Timmendorf. Besides creative non-alcoholic aperitifs, they even offer non-alcoholic white wine, which is truly exceptional and makes the evening special even without alcohol. For us, definitely one of the best restaurants in Timmendorfer Strand. We will definitely be back! ✨

Highly recommended! We've been there for lunch several times and have never been disappointed. The service is very attentive and the food is excellent. Online reservations are easy and they even accommodate special requests. We're already looking forward to our next visit (tomorrow). 😉

We were curious. And then delighted. Tasteful decor, friendly and down-to-earth service, an interesting menu with unusual creations – everything was top-notch. The variety takes some getting used to at first, ranging from fish dishes to seasonal specialties like kale to sushi. The Asian influence is particularly fitting. My cod fillet with passion fruit and saffron sauce and wakame salad was delicious. Subtle music, good lighting design, a glass-enclosed kitchen where guests can watch the food being prepared – someone clearly put a lot of thought into the concept.

I was thrilled with the team. From the moment I walked in, they were friendly, funny, and very accommodating. They offered recommendations and advice, explaining everything down to the smallest detail. We opted for a Marilyn Monroe cocktail and a Crémant. The team knows their menu inside and out, and the bartender is excellent. I had sensational braised ox cheeks with port wine sauce. The second dish was octopus and a fantastic pomegranate mozzarella—grilled so well in Riesling sauce. To finish, we had an Espresso Affado. The server knew exactly what we wanted, even though it wasn't on the menu. In short, I'd gladly come back again.

The outstanding service from Ron and the bartender Mario was truly exceptional. I felt very welcome and appreciated. Every request was immediately fulfilled. Wonderful restaurant, great staff, and very good food. Nevertheless, our evening there was unfortunately not pleasant. The fact that we had a small child with us to celebrate my wife's birthday with a nice meal seemed to be a huge problem for some guests. Before some guests were even shown to their tables, they were already saying, loud enough for everyone to hear, that they didn't want to sit next to the child. From then on, we were given looks every minute, at the slightest sound from the child, conveying the message that they, and especially your child, were not welcome. For these reasons, we kept our stay as short as possible. As if that weren't enough, the same guests made rude and offensive remarks to us as we were leaving. It's striking how often it's the same type of person who makes you feel like children aren't welcome. Unfortunately, we noticed this repeatedly over the past few days in Timmendorf. It's a shame for such a great place and such a wonderful restaurant. We'll still gladly come back so we don't have such a bad memory of the restaurant because of some of the other guests. Both the sushi and the beef fillet were excellent!

We spontaneously decided to come here in the afternoon and opted for the lunch special. They were probably the best spare ribs we've had in ages! And they're not even on the regular menu. The service and the kitchen staff were all incredibly friendly. The chef put on such a sweet show for my son. As a mother with a toddler, I've never felt so comfortable and welcome. Absolutely wonderful!

I ordered the exclusive sushi platter for one. Everything tasted fantastic. It was also very attractively presented. I wouldn't have been able to finish it all without help, the platter was so generous. I really liked the restaurant's ambiance, with its original pictures of people like Udo Lindenberg and Otto Waalkes. The service was very friendly and funny. A thoroughly enjoyable meal.

The small but exquisite sushi selection at "Samoa" is a hidden gem, if not the best-kept secret, for lovers of this Japanese delicacy in northern Germany. As a self-confessed sushi aficionado, I naturally chose only these dishes at this excellent restaurant and was thrilled by the quality of the flavor, as well as the sophistication of the sushi creations, which I've never experienced anywhere else. And the service, staff, and atmosphere impressed me so much that I'm awarding it five stars without exception!

Good restaurant with a good selection of dishes; the fish soup and pasta were very tasty, although the meat could have been more tender. The service is friendly and helpful, the restaurant is easily accessible by wheelchair, and the tables are a good height. It can be a bit noisy when the restaurant is full, but I would gladly return.

A lovely restaurant with friendly staff. We happened to walk by late one evening and, after a short wait, managed to get a table. The sushi looked fantastic and was a popular choice. We ordered fish and veal schnitzel. I would definitely recommend sticking to the fish dishes and sushi. Unfortunately, the schnitzel didn't live up to my expectations. I would advise against ordering it. Otherwise, Samoa is definitely worth a visit.

We haven't had such a good meal in a long time. The service was fantastic and very attentive without being intrusive. The food was consistently delicious, with a great selection of special dishes. Particularly impressive: we were there with a large group, yet everyone's food arrived at the same time. Overall, it was simply a perfect evening – we'd go back anytime!

The plaice fillet tasted good, but could have been better. The elk goulash was good. The restroom was remarkably clean.

A fine restaurant with an extensive menu. Mostly sushi, fish and seafood, but also traditional German dishes, such as duck with red cabbage and dumplings. Absolutely delicious! Friendly and helpful service. Dog-friendly! You can see directly into the kitchen from the dining room (glass wall). The outdoor area was heated with patio heaters in winter.

This is by far the best restaurant I've ever been to. ❤️ We were four adults and a child, and despite that, or perhaps because of it, we received an exceptionally warm welcome. It's truly rare these days to find a restaurant where you feel so welcome with a child, where you have absolutely no problems, and where you're treated with such love, attention, and care. Our daughter (1 year and 7 months old) was warmly welcomed by the entire staff. You can immediately tell that genuine warmth and kindness are truly valued here. The ambiance is fabulous, the restrooms are spotless and well-maintained, and the food was consistently excellent; every wish was fulfilled. The service, the waiters, and the kitchen staff are all incredibly friendly, motivated, and attentive. ❤️ For us, it's clear: the best restaurant ever. We will definitely be back and wholeheartedly recommend it.

We've eaten at this fantastic restaurant several times, and that speaks for itself! Samoa has a very cozy atmosphere and just the right number of tables, so you don't feel cramped and can easily have a conversation. The quality of the food is outstanding and simply indescribably delicious. You'll find the best sushi there, and you can watch the sushi chef prepare your order through a large window into the kitchen. The service is very friendly and attentive, always present but never intrusive. We always love coming back and are already looking forward to our next visit! ☺️

Since it opened just over two years ago, we've eaten there four times whenever we're in Timmendorfer Strand. There was a bit of a settling-in period at the beginning, but the food was already quite good. The last three visits have been excellent. The food, drinks, and service are perfectly coordinated. We're sushi fans and are thrilled with both the quality and quantity – although the latter isn't our main focus. The tempura shrimp are very good, and the sushi is perfect in terms of freshness, flavor, and presentation. It's great that if you order "without avocado," the sushi is served accordingly – that often doesn't happen in other restaurants. The drinks are fairly priced. The service is very customer-oriented and friendly. Thanks again for the lovely evenings. The two of us from table 8 – we'll be back next year!

A serendipitous discovery for us, SAMOA turned out to be an absolute stroke of luck. A chic yet cozy atmosphere inside, and a modern, nautical theme on the terrace. The staff is incredibly professional, friendly, and absolutely knowledgeable when it comes to food and drink recommendations. A small but excellent wine list and a fantastic menu offering a diverse range of fusion cuisine. From soups to fish and meat dishes, all the way to authentic, high-quality sushi. The bartender is equally impressive, pulling out all the stops. We'll definitely be back!

So, dear friends, I have something to report again. I'm spending a week on holiday in Timmendorfer Strand. Now to the point: I'd like to share a very pleasant experience. On our first day of vacation, we ate at the Samoa restaurant and were delighted with the food and the excellent service. To be sure, we ate there every evening of the week, and it was very good. The food was of very good quality, but the taste didn't quite live up to our expectations. There was no sharp knife for the steak, and our server was friendly but very introverted and spoke very quietly, even though the restaurant was quite loud and chaotic. The air was also really stale and stuffy, with hardly any ventilation, and our clothes smelled. The location itself is very appealing. However, we weren't convinced by the value for money.

A visit to Samoa is a must during any stay in Timmendorf. Great atmosphere, delicious food, and friendly service.

We visited Restaurant Samoa expecting high-quality, delicious food – unfortunately, we were disappointed. The ahi tuna was presented without care, practically tasteless, and at €19, significantly overpriced. My wife's sushi was good, but nothing special considering the price. Our pasta dishes were decent, but not exceptional – and at €28 per portion, also too expensive. The food arrived very quickly, which is usually not a good sign of fresh preparation. The dessert (chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream) was the low point: obviously a pre-made product, just reheated – and all for a hefty €14.90. Overall, the price-performance ratio is simply not right. It wasn't bad, but for these prices, I expect significantly more quality and refinement. Anyone who truly values ​​good food will certainly find better alternatives in the area.

For dinner, we ordered beef fillet and truffle pasta, but received the pasta with Gorgonzola. The waiter was very friendly, and since we kept the food, they gave us a discount on the drinks. The food not only looked fantastic, but it tasted amazing too, which is to be expected for the price. All in all, highly recommended.
