I highly recommend this restaurant. The food is delicious and well-prepared.

The restaurant is highly recommended. We were there with nine people, and all our needs were taken care of. The service was very attentive and friendly; the children were allowed to visit the kitchen and help prepare their ice cream. The ambiance is very cozy, and the open kitchen is very clean and organized. The food was consistently delicious and reasonably priced, especially compared to other restaurants in town. We'll definitely be back on our next visit!

A real insider tip on Timmendorfer Strand. You feel welcome from the very beginning and leave with a big smile and a full stomach. The staff is super friendly, especially Derja, who took really good care of me, and the kitchen team is also really talented. The scallops and the hake with passion fruit and saffron sauce are a dream. The desserts, like the chocolate mousse, are also not to be despised. Simply brilliant all around. I'd love to come back on my next vacation.

The outdoor ambiance was a gas/coal-fired oven; some of the chairs weren't clean. Service was good and friendly, with enough staff. The steak was medium rare, only cooked on the inside; the mashed potatoes were bland/salty, and the gravy could have been better—expected more for the high prices. The flounder was good; the potatoes and cucumber salad were tasty; the bacon was bland. Overall, the prices were high, close to Timmendorfer Strand.

We ate here for the first time today – and what can I say: It was simply delicious! The service and the entire team were super friendly and attentive. We also really liked the ambiance – everything was clean and inviting, even the restrooms. A particularly nice touch: Our little daughter was allowed to choose a scoop of ice cream with the waiter at the end. That rounded off the visit perfectly. Thank you so much for this wonderful day with you – we'd love to come back!

We were very happy with our lunch at Samoa. We had a delicious Caesar salad and an equally good currywurst with fries. The portions were generous, and the value for money was absolutely spot on, especially compared to other restaurants in the area. The service was very friendly, and we didn't have to wait long for our food! The only negative thing was the somewhat loud noise, depending on where you sit, but not so much that this excellent restaurant deserves a star deduction. Highly recommended for anyone in the area!

A very nice restaurant with a particularly pleasant terrace. The staff is super friendly, and the food is excellent. We had plaice with a huge portion of North Sea crab. Pasta with truffles, salad, and a very good wine. There's nothing to complain about; everything was perfect. We'll definitely be back. A special thank you to the staff.

I had a great time at the Samoa, passing by for a lunch after walking on the beach. I had the matjes (German-style pickled herrings, less vinegary than you might expect) from the lunch menu and it was really good, if you like that sort of things. Salad and potatoes on the side were fresh and well seasoned. Very nice altogether!

A beautiful restaurant! The sushi and bowls were excellent, and the service was first-class! Our children were treated to a tour of the kitchen and, to top it all off, received a small ice cream from the kitchen. We would love to come back and can only recommend everyone to stop by. Attention allergy sufferers, we've come to the right place! :) We visited three times this week. Originally, we just wanted a drink and to see if there was anything gluten-free on the menu. To our pleasant surprise, the very charismatic waiter not only knew immediately where the allergen menu was, but was also able to recommend options for my various intolerances and allergies. Dessert included! All the staff were exceptionally friendly, cheerful, unobtrusive, and truly professional at all times. We will definitely come back on our next vacation; thank you so much for the lovely evenings!

The food here is excellent and the service outstanding! We had sushi, hake, and various pasta dishes and were thrilled. I'm not exaggerating when I say the seafood here is some of the best I've ever eaten. From now on, this restaurant is an absolute MUST for us on every visit to Timmendorf.

We visited the Samoa restaurant for the first time today because of the many good reviews, and we were not disappointed. You can always get a table outside spontaneously without a reservation, as the staff said reservations are only possible inside. You are also welcome here with your dog, and you immediately feel at home. The staff are very friendly, quick, and courteous. They even offered our dog a bowl of fresh water right away. The food and drinks are really great! As far as the food goes, we can "only" rate the vegan dishes. These were really great in terms of taste and quality. The drinks were also great. There is a very large selection of different drinks here, so everyone can find something to suit them. We hardly had to wait, as the staff are really attentive. All in all, a very successful evening in a great restaurant. We will definitely be back.

Delicious, attractive dishes, but unfortunately the portion sizes were quite small, so we were still hungry after the starter and main course. The waiter was unfortunately quite arrogant and somewhat unprofessional. We couldn't produce an allergen list for the evening specials, instead offering rather dubious "suggestions" from memory. An allergen list is, incidentally, required by law. Great location and pleasant ambiance, but still a somewhat inadequate price-performance ratio. Not recommended.

We've never been disappointed; Ron's personal welcome and his evening company are second to none! Overall, we all really enjoyed our visit to Samoa. The food was delicious and the portions were just right. We had reserved a table and were seated inside despite the 30-degree heat. Unfortunately, we didn't like that much. The atmosphere inside was very nice, though. The service could have been more attentive. It took a long time for us to order drinks. Additionally, both our starters arrived incorrectly. However, we did get a beer on the house. So, all in all, I recommend it. Just mention when you make your reservation that you want to sit outside.

We started with the surf and turf rolls, which were absolutely amazing. Then we had the veal cheeks and the Argentinian entrecote, both of which were absolutely delicious and perfectly prepared.

Unfortunately, my wife has back problems and needs a little more space at the table than a healthy person. The waiter stuck to his guns and said goodbye. We tried to place a takeout order over the phone, but were told it was only possible in person. So my husband made the trip – only to be told they didn't have time to pack the food for takeout (???). Eating in, however, would have been perfectly possible, but with a sleeping child in the vacation apartment, that was obviously not an option. This inconsistent communication and the noticeably unfriendly attitude of the staff made the whole thing particularly frustrating. My husband drove there specifically and was ultimately turned away – without any apology or understanding. It's a shame, we were looking forward to the food. Unfortunately, this leaves us with a very disappointing impression.
