Das Ambiente ist gut, das Personal freundlich und zuvorkommend, die Akustik ist mit großen Gruppen ziemlich laut. Das Essen war mittelprächtig: Das Fleisch war trocken und der Nachtisch eigentlich nur süß.

We were there the day after her vacation and nothing was missing. The food was very good and was brought to us (11 people) at the same time. The service was very attentive, friendly and accommodating.

Extraordinary, my favorite restaurant in Timmendorferstrand.

The atmosphere and hospitality are positive. Unfortunately we were very disappointed with the food. The veal liver went back because the meat couldn't really be identified as liver. It was partly wavy, crusty and soggy underneath (structure was dissolving). My husband was apparently unlucky, because at the table next to us we were told that the dish had been inactive a few days before. It was withdrawn without any problems. But the alternative “Schnitzel Wiener Style” was also disappointing. In our opinion it was fried and very greasy. The prawns as a starter were well prepared, but almost oversalted and the prawns were unfortunately very rubbery. The pike perch fillet with truffle risotto was very nicely prepared and tasted good overall. However, I didn't feel well the following day, whether it was because of the shrimp or the zander remains uncertain. Maybe and hopefully we were just unlucky.

Modern, trendy, elegant, clean atmosphere (...the toilets are also very nice). Not too many tables, so very pleasant. Calm music in the background. The waitresses are extremely friendly, you immediately feel welcome. The food is of high quality, beautifully prepared and tastes very well combined. We had the fish dishes. We were here on New Year's Eve where there was a set menu. The aperitif and the greeting from the kitchen were very tasty, but the other courses exceeded our expectations. At the next table there were dishes for vegetarians, which were also very well received. A clear recommendation from me, as there were unusual combinations for me too, but they were on point in terms of taste.

Beautiful ambience, small and very fine, everything is just right here! First-class, very attentive service, TOP food. Our tip: duck, brewed malt schnitzel, pasta with truffles. Clear recommendation.

It's worth enjoying dinner here. Not only people who love eating out will enjoy this small restaurant, I think someone who likes wine wouldn't be out of place here either. You have to be aware that the tables are closer together, so certain things shouldn't be discussed there ;) We had nice conversations so it was okay :) We had fish soup and a crab sandwich as starters. The main course was rounded off with a duck leg and chestnut gnocci. It was great! Thanks to the team for decorating the table for the birthday :)

Everything is cooked and prepared here with great attention to detail. There is something for everyone - no matter whether big or small. You can tell that the boss of the house cares deeply about ensuring that the customer leaves the restaurant happy, full and satisfied. Following a recommendation, I ate at Bartmans Kitchen for the first time with my family today and it is very likely that this will not be my last visit.

It is a small, modern restaurant decorated with great taste and style. The menu has something to offer for every taste: fish, meat, vegetarian... We decided in advance for the "forest walk" and for the main course for the beef fillet and the saddle of venison. The food is of great quality and tasted perfectly. We're not the sweet tooth, which is why we didn't have dessert, but that would probably have been a 10/10 too. We'll definitely come back. Thank you for the lovely evening

We spent an unforgettable evening at Bartmans Kitchen. The chef's advice was unique. Every course is an experience. The “Forest Walk” appetizer with all of its small components was incredibly fun. The fish soup was excellent, the braised ox cheek with vegetables on mashed potatoes was buttery tender with a fantastic sauce. For dessert we had a scoop of vanilla ice cream with crunch and caramel chip, which tasted creamy and full-bodied with good vanilla. It was a completely successful menu. We'll be back and would go to Timmendorf just to eat at Bartmans Kitchen. Thank you very much for the team making it possible for us to have a great evening.

The breakfast here is solid, but doesn't blow you away.

The outdoor terrace is well maintained and well heated in cool temperatures. Vitello Forello is unusual in its preparation but super tasty. Also the Holsteiner Matjes!

Great restaurant and I actually wanted to give it 5 stars. Reservation definitely makes sense, we were lucky and spontaneously got a nice table. The service was extremely warm. Map not overloaded and varied. My impression is that the simple dishes here could be better. Example Pulled Pork Balls were a poem, while the “White Pearl”, reminiscent of fusion cuisine, was pale and meaningless 😐 the US Prime Beef Steak was on point and top quality! In the case of the most expensive dish on the menu, “Fillet and Braised”, the braised was a dry affair and that shouldn’t happen. The service also made a mistake here and didn't respond with more than a nod. Interesting selection of wines. I will come again, but then order the simpler dishes. Then the price/performance ratio is a little better.

High quality dishes with your own interpretation. Nice places inside and outside and friendly service. You should make a reservation if possible.

I was just there: Great card and the special composition usually keeps its promise. One dish wasn't quite right - it came back quickly and deliciously. Despite high levels of stress, the young waitresses are reliable, professional and hospitable.

One of the worst eating experiences I've ever had. Rude and arrogant waiters who almost refused to pour the beer from the bottle into the glass even though I asked politely. The schnitzel was burnt.

Everything is really right here! The atmosphere is very chic and pleasantly stylish. The service is on the ball and ready for jokes. The food is modern and very tasty and the selection of drinks is also great. And last but not least, the price-performance ratio is also right for us. This is a definite tip!

Nice restaurant, moderately priced in Timmendorf. But since I come from a part where you can get very good food, be it steak or fish specialties, or vegan at a better price and since some of the food is excellent, I can't give full stars, but the food was good, I just don't think so OK if a rump steak is billed as entrecote. And the rump steak was no longer quite medium.

It started with a stale champagne. Actually, that couldn't have happened because the bottle had only been opened yesterday. However, there was not a single pearl left that could have sparkled. The main course consisted of fish with celery mousseline - for the price it could have been a filling side dish to the very manageable portion. Price/performance wasn't right. All in all, not an atmosphere where you would want to be for even 1 minute too long.

Didn't make a reservation and managed to get a seat outside. The food really tasted very good. Unfortunately, as the evening progressed, the service became increasingly poor, so we had to go in to pay in order to catch our bus. But we would definitely come here again!

Sehr leckeres Essen. Die Trüffelpasta war ein Gedicht. Für das Brot vorweg muss man aber 5 Euro hinblättern. Dafür hätte ich wenigstens leckeres fluffiges Brot erwartet, so ähnlich wurde es auch in der Karte beworben. Tatsächlich gab es aber zwei kleine viel zu kompakte Schwarzbrötchen, die wie ein Stein waren. Die dazugehörige Kräuterbutter war auch nur Kräutermargarine. Wo Butter draufsteht, muss auch Butter drin sein. Die Konsistenz der Brötchen haben wir bemängelt, aber auf der Rechnung waren sie trotzdem. Daher keine vollen Punkte.

Went there for dinner today and were just thrilled! The service is incredibly friendly and attentive and a wine recommendation is also offered. The food... simply leaves you speechless! The T-bone steak was fried to perfection and the side dishes were simply perfect. Likewise the entrecote. The starter and the dessert were simply a poem. Eating out is fun!

Sensationelles Essen! Wir waren begeistert und haben überlegt wann wir das letztes Mal ( wo ?) So gut gegessen haben. Sowohl die Produkte, Gewürze und der gesamte Geschmack der Speisen waren großartig. Wir hatten die wirklich beste Fischsuppe seit langem und den Pulpo als Vorspeise. Als Hauptgang den schwarzen Heilbutt -ein ganz besonderes Geschmackserlebnis- und das Zanderfilet und wussten nicht was wir besser fanden. Alles in allem-1A! Wir kommen wieder! Vielleicht schon morgen zum Frühstücksbuffet :-)

This is what the ladies say: The ambience was great, all the dishes were beautifully decorated with herbs and delicious pea sprouts +++ My roast beef was wonderful! The atmosphere and the extremely charming service contributed to a harmonious atmosphere among us “ladies” +++ Highly recommended! The service was first class +++ I liked my fish soup very much 🍤🐟🐠👌🏻+++ My little fish soup: tasted very good, it couldn't be better! +++ The food was very good and the service was excellent! A cheerful, cheerful and entertaining group of coastal ladies! Another successful evening for the “KL Restaurant Testers” group 🤗🍷+++ Regional, seasonal – and simply delicious! +++ Very special is the grilled pulp on very finely chopped herbs and cucumber, accompanied by a particularly delicious dressing. Excellent! I would definitely choose pea sprouts as decoration again👍👍. On Thursday we were in this great restaurant for the first time. And now I can say it wasn't the last time. The reservation started about ten days ago. A friendly and cheerful lady named Halina took my table reservation. Even this conversation was great. When we arrived at the restaurant, Halina immediately knew my name (without looking in her book) and seated us at a great table by the window. Great menu. The house wine (Bartmans) - A Pinot Gris, super delicious! Tafelspitz was buttery and tender! 5 stars for that Schnitzel (Viennese style) Isn't actually my thing, as I find veal much better. Nevertheless, I dared to order. What came out of the kitchen was excellent and I have to change my mind on this one. I would eat a “Viennese style” schnitzel here every time!!! Dessert selection wonderful. We are currently testing all restaurants in Timmendorf and the surrounding area. The Bartmann is currently number one for us! And another word about service: Halina and her daughter provide an unobtrusive, cheerful and charming service that I miss in many restaurants. Thank you and see you soon!

We celebrated my 50th birthday at Bartmans kitchen yesterday. After a warm welcome, we were shown to our table, which was magically decorated with little hearts and fairy lights. To get us in the mood for the beautiful evening, we were offered a glass of fine sparkling wine. The menu offered a variety of delicacies so that we could hardly decide. Ultimately, we chose the "white pearl" (a composition of white tomato and pepper relish) and the grilled octopus on lentil salad with fried melon. Everything is very, very fine and extremely delicious. This was followed by the homemade, perfectly formed gnocchi with chanterelles and cherry tomatoes, which melted in your mouth like little pillows of mashed potatoes. My husband enthusiastically enjoyed the Iberian pork fillet on celery mousseline with Bimi and Café de Paris sauce. Incredibly good and perfectly fried meat. We also drank the Mirabou Pure Rosé de Provence, which we highly recommended: simply delicious. Finally there was a crème brulee with a fruit sorbet. It was a perfect evening in a relaxed atmosphere, with fantastic food and warm, attentive service. We'd love to come back.

I became aware of Bartmans Kitchen the day before through an extremely friendly employee at the restaurant. Booked a table outside for the following day. When we arrived, another friendly employee presented us with a cocktail that can only be ordered from the next day. And how delicious it was... Mjam.. Well done. The meals were tasty and sufficient. First time here, immediately impressed. Keep it up.

Nice restaurant with a nice atmosphere. The food was very tasty and the price was adjusted to Timmendorf. The only thing that was disappointing is the service. The ladies were nice, but private conversations at the counter were more important than the guest. Over an hour for one course when you are the only table is clearly too long. We sat with our empty plates for 15 minutes. Without this aftertaste it would be 4 stars.

The service was really accommodating. It would only be nice if it were handled uniformly (for example, the table next door was asked how they would like their asparagus). We had the mustard and the asparagus with salmon. Both dishes were really prepared with attention to detail. The mustard celebrations were labeled “newly interpreted”. For me it was just normal eggs in mustard sauce with mashed potatoes. Unfortunately, I had imagined something different because of the note. It tasted delicious, but not outstanding.

Four of us ate there with friends. We were all thrilled by the delicious food as well as by the super attentive, friendly, young service man Ilja. The food was special and not comparable to a “standard meal”, interesting creations, high quality and very, very tasty. The restaurant is really recommended and if you are in the area you should definitely go there.

Ich habe hier mit Freunden meinen Geburtstag gefeiert. Unser Tisch war bei Ankunft sehr schön und geschmackvoll geschmückt. Die Speisen waren geschmacklich sehr gut und alle waren sehr zufrieden. Der Service war sehr aufmerksam, freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Highlight war für mich der umgefallene Blumentopf, bei dem alles (!) essbar war. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Starting with a very friendly reservation arrangement in advance, through the warm and friendly service in the restaurant to an all-round perfect meal.
