Essen, Service und Ambiente kann ich nicht beurteilen, weil lt Online Karte die Preise sehr gehobener Preisklasse sind, für einen Salat ca 230 Euro ausgewiesen sind und vom Menü ganz zu schweigen....natürlich halten wir es für einen Fehler in der Auspreisung aber vllcht hilfreich für das Unternehmen dieses zu korrigieren.

Es war ein Mega tolles Esserlebnis, das Essen war lecker, das Fleisch super zart und der Reis war perfekt, selbst die Oliven haben einwandfrei geschmeckt, obwohl ich keine Oliven mag. Einzigartig leckeres Restaurant…. Wenn es draußen Sitzmöglichkeiten gäbe, dann wäre es wirklich einfach perfekt.

Es war sehr lecker und der Service war auch super, der Kellner hat mir alles erklärt, toll. Das Fleisch war super zart und die Vorspeise war auch sehr lecker.

Ein großartiger Ort, um iranische Gerichte zu probieren. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Mein erstes Mal, dass ich iranisch gegessen habe und es war wirklich fabelhaft. Dieses Restaurant macht seinem Ruf wirklich alle Ehre.

Ich habe mir mit meiner Mutter das Kashke Bademjan als Vorspeise und die Zeytun Grillplatte für 2 Personen als Hauptspeise geteilt. Generell fand ich beides sehr lecker, sowohl das Auberginenpüree, als auch die Kubideh und Tschenjeh hätten aber noch wesentlich mehr Würze vertragen können. Auf dem Tisch gab es Sumach, Salz und Pfeffer - das hat geholfen, es hat aber trotzdem noch was gefehlt. Das Fladenbrot, welches zum Auberginenpüree serviert wurde, war sehr lecker und der Reis perfekt gekocht. Ich war lediglich etwas traurig, dass es kein Tahdig gab. Das Ambiente im Laden ist unfassbar schön und der Service auch mega freundlich. Das persische Eis, als auch Faludeh waren lecker aber gewöhnungsbedürftig - das Baklava war perfekt. Preislich war auch alles Top - es wurde sogar kostenloser Nachschlag an Reis und Tomatensauce angeboten. Alles in allem kann ich einen Besuch hier empfehlen - ich werde definitiv wieder kommen.

Sehr gemütliche Atmosphäre, hervorragender Service, köstliches Essen und sehr leckerer persischer Tee! Im Badezimmer gibt es alle Hygieneartikel für Frauen und sogar Windeln für Babys! 100/100

Das offene Buffet war fast zu schön, um wahr zu sein! Es gab eine riesige Auswahl an Speisen, und alles, was wir probiert haben, war frisch, aromatisch und sehr lecker. Die Qualität hat meine Erwartungen übertroffen, und es war für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei. Das absolute Highlight war das Eis. Es war ehrlich gesagt eines der besten, die ich je gegessen habe. Das Personal war freundlich, und das gesamte Erlebnis war fantastisch. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Sehr schönes Restaurant mit ruhiger Musik und Atmosphäre. Essen war sehr gut. Wir haben im Menü die Nummer 47 Bestellt und das Fleisch hat gut geschmeckt aber der Reis war zu trocken. Linsensuppe war sehr lecker aber die Portion ist zu klein für ca. 6€. Wir haben danach kostenlos Chai bekommen was auch gut geschmeckt hat. Ein bisschen unprofessionell fanden wir aber, dass obwohl die Quittung ingesamt 45 Euro beträgt und wir mit Bargeld 50€ bezahlten, haben wir die übrigen 5€ nicht wiederbekommen. Diese wurden ohne Frage als Tip genommen. Das Wc ist aber dafür mit Raumduft und einer Wickelstation mit Windeln und anderen Hygieneartikeln ausgestattet.

Unglaublich authentisches, frisches Holz und ein schönes Ambiente mit hervorragendem Service.

Wir waren heute mit vier Personen im Oliven Restaurant essen und sehr erfreut über den netten Service und die gute Beratung. Die Möglichkeit am Buffet teilzunehmen und sich so durch die verschiedenen orientalischen Gerichte zu probieren, haben wir gern genutzt, eine tolle Geschmackserfahrung. Die Lage ist leider nicht so optimal, das liegt aber auch an den vielen Baustellen in der KTV. Die Preise waren nicht zu teuer, damit ein absoluter Tipp für alle, die es orientalisch mögen. Vielen Dank.

Der Besuch hat sich gelohnt. Das Fleisch war sehr zart der Reis super gewürzt. Die Mitarbeiter freundlich. Der Tipp meines Kollegen war Gold wert. Ich weiß nicht ob ich schon besser Persisch gegessen habe.

In einem Hinterhof gelegen entdeckten wir dieses tolle Restaurant. Wir wurden freundlich empfangen… auch ohne Reservierung bekamen wir sofort einen Tisch. Die Bedienung war sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Das Essen war der absolute Wahnsinn. Alles wurde frisch zubereitet. Der Tee mit Kardamom war auch sehr lecker. Einzige Anmerkung wäre, dass die Stühle leicht heruntergesessen sind und diese einen Austausch gut vertragen könnten. Aber das ist Jammern auf hohem Niveau. Wir kommen garantiert bald wieder.

Der Geheimtipp für authentisches persisches Essen.

Sehr empfehlenswert! Das Essen ist unglaublich lecker, frisch zubereitet und die Portionen sind großzügig. Die Bedienung ist dazu sehr freundlich und aufmerksam, sodass man sich rundum wohlfühlt. Immer wieder gerne. Mein absoluter Favorit ist die Nummer 36 Qabuli Polo.

Wir waren sehr zufrieden, haben uns wohl gefühlt und wir kommen wieder! Hoffe das Restaurant geht aufgrund der Lage nicht so unter. Macht Werbung!

Fast alles war gut, aber die meisten Restaurants servieren vor dem Essen einen Beilagensalat, den es hier leider nicht gab. Meiner Meinung nach würde das das Essen noch besser machen

Wir waren zu dritt und sehr hungrig. Zwischen all den Burgerläden, Dönerbuden und asiatischen Restaurants hat Google Maps uns zu diesem Restaurant geführt. Zuerst konnten wir es etwas schwer finden (man muss parken und durch die Häuser hineingehen), aber es hat sich mehr als gelohnt. Das war die leckerste Küche, die ich bisher in Deutschland gegessen habe. Absolute Empfehlung, das Gericht für drei Personen zu bestellen – ihr werdet es nicht bereuen. Sogar das Hähnchen war außergewöhnlich saftig und geschmackvoll! Wir kommen definitiv wieder. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This restaurant had been on my list for ages, and we finally made it today. What can I say? I regret not having been here sooner. The service was sensational—very welcoming and attentive. The food (especially the skewers) was divine, incredibly juicy. We also had the mixed appetizers (hot and cold), which were absolutely delicious. We ordered fries with chicken nuggets for our little one. We would have definitely paid twice as much for that portion elsewhere. A complimentary herb plate and bread were also provided—another lovely touch. All in all, it was our first visit, but definitely not our last this year. Thank you so much for the service and the wonderful food.

I tried the homemade drink, Dough, and it tasted wonderful. I would definitely order it again. Five of us shared the appetizer platter. The bread and all the dishes were fresh and very tasty. As a little treat, we were served a delicious lentil soup as a complimentary starter. My main course was a vegetarian dish called Qabuli Polo, and it was fantastic. The rice was perfect—moist and so delicious with the raisins, almonds, and carrots. I especially loved the sweetness. It came with a fruity, sweet and sour dipping sauce that complemented everything perfectly. The portion was generous, but I had to finish it. I'd gladly come back and order it again.

The Oliven Restaurant didn't disappoint! My boyfriend and I ordered the bread with garlic yogurt dip and the mixed grill for two. We practically rolled home after eating! 😂 The food was absolutely delicious! The meat was incredibly tender and perfectly seasoned. The portion of rice was also very generous. The staff was friendly and frequently checked on us to make sure everything was alright and if anyone wanted to order anything else. A visit to this restaurant is definitely worthwhile! 🤝 The only thing that bothered me was that the music was a bit loud, but it wasn't a big deal. We'll definitely be back next time we're in Rostock! 😋

They always cater to individual requests, the owner always makes time for his guests, and the food was absolutely delicious. When we're back in Rostock, I know exactly where I'll be returning. We went there on a whim. Nice atmosphere, quite busy, we were surprised. We didn't even know what we wanted to eat. The selection was excellent and we were very impressed. We could have had seconds, but our plates were already quite full. Delicious, we'd gladly go again.

A truly beautiful, traditional Persian restaurant! The Oliven in Rostock delights with attentive service and authentic dishes that not only taste delicious but are also presented traditionally on the plate – just as they are eaten in Iran. The staff is incredibly friendly and happy to explain the dishes and their preparation. You can tell the passion they use here. Everything is fresh, the red spice – I think I'll have to order Rhus for myself somewhere. The chicken is absolutely delicious. Highly recommended!

A genuine Persian restaurant; it used to be a Greek restaurant. Family-run. Reasonable prices. Authentic, but with little gastronomic training, but still good food. The son speaks good German, but you can manage without him.

The ambiance is extremely beautiful and inviting; I felt very comfortable. You can see the attention to detail in the furnishings and decor. The food arrived quite quickly and it was a generous portion! It was also incredibly delicious. I discovered this restaurant by chance and think it's one of the best restaurants in Rostock.

I ordered online. A supposedly delicious lamb dish. The whole meal was a disappointment. The sauce only contained three pieces that could be called lamb. It may be different in the restaurant itself, but I didn't find anything appealing in terms of taste.

A cold appetizer plate is great! Some appetizers are pickled. These pair very well with the yogurt-based appetizers. A appetizer plate with herbs and bread is also great: the herbs add a pleasant freshness! The main course portions are generous.

It was a wonderful evening for my wife and me. We received a warm welcome, and the service was very attentive without being intrusive. Since it was our first time there, each dish was personally presented to us by the chef, and we even had a few tastings. Everything was freshly prepared, and you can taste it. We will be back several times; there's still so much to try.

I have been living in Germany for a year and am of ethnic Indian, but I love Persian cuisine and have eaten mostly in Berlin, Hamburg and Munich, but the best Persian dishes are definitely served here.

Yes, this restaurant is recommended. Authentic, delicious food, lovingly and freshly prepared and served. We spent a wonderful evening at the Oliven restaurant with four adults and two children. There was a welcome from the kitchen, homemade flatbread with fresh salad, herbs, and cream cheese, mixed cold and warm appetizers (all delicious; my favorite was Kashke Bademjan, eggplant cream), a main course with a grilled lamb, chicken with delicious basmati saffron rice, and grilled vegetables, and Persian ice cream and faludeh for dessert. The service was exemplary, competent, and in a family atmosphere. The host took great pleasure in advising us and our grandchildren, who were thrilled with his recommendation (grilled chicken with basmati butter saffron rice instead of the "children's plate") and ate everything! Our family is familiar with Arabic cuisine and receives high praise for the dishes with their varied seasonings. We absolutely loved the house dough (a yogurt drink with mint). We made a reservation by phone the same day, and everything went smoothly. Only finding parking in the backyard was a bit tricky, but we arrived early enough and found good spots.

Never again No meat in the kubide, just soy. The lamb kebab was also too hard and inedible. DO NOT RECOMMEND. I was there on July 9th.

Two of us (and our dog) ate there today. The food was ready quickly, tasted very authentic, and was relatively inexpensive. Overall, it was excellent. We especially recommend the desserts, which offer something truly new for the German palate. We'd love to come back!

It had been on our to-do list for a while. We finally made it. Making a reservation by phone was a breeze. A good selection of dishes, and the preparation time was also reasonable. The only drawback was the heaters, which couldn't be turned down.
