From the perspective of a frequent traveler and guest of high-class hotels, or rather, those who claim to be: Shower: Water doesn't drain Minibar: Broken, drinks warm 5:15 PM Steam bath in the sauna area: Cold Sauna, wet area: Definitely not cleaned, open for an hour, and it looked like someone had been having a party. The hotel allows guests to permanently block the few loungers in the relaxation area. 🙄 Bathrobes: Not in the room; you have to get them at reception. Check-in and out: A real investment of time, despite club membership and online booking. There's typing, printing, scanning, phone calls, signatures being collected, tourist tax being charged, and... simply not up to date. Mediocre value for money...

One of the best Radisson Blu hotels, no complaints. Perfect hotel location, in the city center, with all the shops nearby. Tram in front of the hotel or underground parking. Stayed here for 2 nights in a harbour view room on the 6th floor. Good size room, very clean and well presented. Lacks some small niceties which mean one star deducted - no tissues, body lotion, minimally stocked mini bar. Small things but which are important to some guests. Ate a pleasant meal in the restaurant , substantial breakfast offered. No time to use the fitness room or sauna. Ideal location for all the attractions of this small pleasant city. All staff very pleasant and professional.

Our visit to Kai 40 at the Radisson Blu in Rostock was an absolute highlight. The excellent cuisine delighted us with creative and perfectly balanced dishes – a true treat for the palate. We would especially like to emphasize the competent service. The staff were always courteous, attentive, and warm, making us feel completely at home. A huge compliment to the entire team! I often and happily stay at Radisson hotels around the world. But the Radisson in Rostock is by far the best hotel I've ever experienced. Honestly, everything here is just perfect! The rooms are modern, clean, and furnished with great attention to detail. The breakfast leaves nothing to be desired. But what truly makes this hotel stand out is the team: so warm, attentive, and professional – something you rarely experience. You don't feel like a guest here, but rather a welcome part of the hotel. I'm always happy to return – thank you to the entire team for this special place!

Simply furnished, but has almost everything you need for a short vacation.

We were guests at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Rostock for the first time and were absolutely thrilled! Our room was super large and spacious. The service was first-class, extremely courteous and friendly. We especially have to mention the friendly lady Ina at the reception. With her pleasant manner and her great tips about Rostock, she really made our weekend special☺️ The gym was also really well-equipped. The food was also really delicious 🥤 In summary, we had nothing to complain about and will definitely book the hotel again next time! 🙏🏻

All in all, I'm satisfied. The location is truly perfect, and the service is impeccable. The breakfast is amazing. The rooms could have been cleaner, but I've experienced worse.

Beautiful hotel, great location. The wellness and fitness area is in need of repair. Visitors have no access to running water or running water, instead drinking from the hand basin, the toilet, or the foot bath. The hotel describes the outage on a laminated sign, but does not provide a remedy.

I was booked as a DJ for an anniversary at the Radisson Blu Rostock in May 2025. Even as a service provider, I was treated just as warmly and courteously as every single guest. The arrangements in advance and the communication regarding the program and process also ran smoothly and in an exemplary manner. I would like to say a big thank you to Andrea Jesse and her team, who not only gave me a wonderful evening, but also the hosts and guests. I look forward to seeing you again. Finally, I can only recommend that you put the Radisson Blu on your shortlist for celebrations of all kinds.

Simply great – our third visit to the Radisson Blu Rostock! This is our third time at the Radisson Blu in Rostock – and every time it is an absolute highlight! The location directly on the Warnow with a view of the harbor is fantastic, the rooms are modern, stylish and sparkling clean, and the breakfast buffet leaves nothing to be desired. A very special thank you goes to Kristin from the service team, who once again made our stay better with her friendly, warm manner and attentive service. It is a real gem and contributes significantly to making us feel completely comfortable every time. One thing is certain for us: The Radisson Blu Rostock is and will remain our first choice in the Hanseatic city - we are already looking forward to the next time! Thank you and see you next time!

The hotel itself has a great bar on the 7th FLOOR and an excellent restaurant next to the reception. Employees always have an open ear and ensure a pleasant stay. We used a conference room and were very impressed. A very attractive facility and top technical equipment. The service was also very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are pleasantly bright.

The hotel and most of the employees deserve 5 stars. The service in the rooftop bar was bad. The fact that charging for electric cars is only possible with a flat rate of 25 euros no longer fits the times. There was a point deduction for that.

We were very lucky to be able to spend the New Year at the Radisson Blu Rostock. As always, we were warmly welcomed and looked after at reception. Our room was on the 6th floor with a view of the Kröpeliner Tor and far over Rostock. This is what we wanted and - thank you very much - it worked out great. We were able to watch the fireworks on New Year's Eve. The room is comfortably furnished and we immediately felt very comfortable. In the evening there was food in the KAI40 restaurant. Here too, all the employees are very friendly and the dishes are very tasty. We can highly recommend a visit to the restaurant. Thanks to the maritime look, the rooms radiate a cozy warmth that makes you want to linger here. In the morning, the breakfast buffet is also offered here, which is very diverse and varied. All in all, we had another wonderful stay in our favorite hotel. It's a shame that time always goes by so quickly... Our heartfelt thanks to everyone who looked after our well-being around the clock. A very relaxing stay with very attentive but discreet staff. The breakfast was well received by the whole family. What was particularly nice for our son was that he could also use the gym and get to know one. He is still a little below the usual age limits.

Very nice, clean and modern hotel with great rooms, a nice bar in the lobby and a rooftop bar; I would particularly like to mention the small souvenir shop with souvenirs from the region, including the exceptionally fine Müritzgin, Forester and Baltic.

Some time ago I wrote a bad review, which I regret. I deleted it. Any establishment can make mistakes. The main thing is that it corrects its mistakes correctly and on time. For 4 years now, several times a year I have been staying here in a suite. The reception staff is great. the cleaning is good. the rooms. the views are excellent. the wifi is super. I always come to my home. very good breakfasts - but it’s crowded, because this is the level of the hotel in Rostock no. and perhaps in Germany, which while living here I have traveled far and wide!!!!! I ask you to remain the same!!!!!!!!!!!

The hotel is fine, but there are unclear Radisson Rewards rules. You got an upgrade but nothing special. There is free water in the mini fridge for Radisson Rewards members. I had drunk two waters and this was put up again with the sign that can be seen in the picture. When checking out I was surprised that I had to pay for more water because only two were free. This cannot be found in the terms and conditions or on the sign. You have failed. Of course, you will also receive the corresponding rating via the feedback survey.

I stayed here for 4 weeks while working. The hotel is in a great location, not far from the harbor and right next to the old town. Great for the many sights that Rostock has to offer, which you can explore on foot. The staff is always friendly, no matter what problem you approached them with, and always tried to resolve everything to your satisfaction straight away. The food was always tasty, varied and the breakfast during the week was great, but on the weekend it was topped again.

Good starting point for exploring in and around Rostock (public transport on the doorstep) Opportunities for larger and smaller meetings, beautiful roof terrace. Very good breakfast!

This year we also attended the ball together with friends. As in previous years, we were more than thrilled again. Great food, varied, from all over the world...the midnight snack is always a highlight. The event team surprises us with something new every year...the wine tasting area this year was really great. The cabaret artists who work around the house are also great...especially the lady with her origami skills. We love the wheel of fortune in the elevator 😉 The band in the large hall and the DJ in the rooftop area were great again. Rooms, as always, great and the breakfast was the crowning glory. We will definitely be there again next year and would love to be guests at the Radisson in Rostock.

The hotel is super centrally located in the city. We had a great, spacious room with super comfortable beds. Everything was very clean and also beautifully decorated. The breakfast is absolutely amazing! I've never gotten anything like this in a hotel. There was simply EVERYTHING! Unfortunately the service staff was in a bit of a bad mood, but hey, everyone has a bad day. There was even a blanket, bowls, poop bags and snacks in the room for our dog. There is a special sign “Our dog is in the room” that you can put on the door. Someone really thought about it, bravo!! We'd love to come back.

We go to the Radisson every year for a conference - parking is great in the large parking garage. The hotel is clean and welcoming. The care and food is very tasty. However, I can't understand why there are (obviously) no regular inspections of the toilets there. A seminar hall filled with 180 people for a day seminar, of which at least 70-80% are women and the other halls were also rented out. These seminar rooms are offered for larger groups. Then there are 5-6 women's toilets with 2 toilet paper rolls each - which are NOT refilled throughout the day. Since the afternoon you had to take tissues or towels with you to the toilet. (Which were empty at the end of the seminar.) There was no one anywhere in sight who made any attempt to take care of it. There is a dedicated counter with staff in the hallway. And unfortunately it happens every year. (We have been attending the seminar for three years.) It is a shame that this problem is not being addressed.

The brunch in the KAi restaurant is well priced at €39 and there is something tasty for everyone.

Im großen und ganzen war es schön das Essen gut und preislich liegt es in der Norm. der “iced cafe latte” aber ist eine Frechheit es hat nichts mit Kaffee zu tun. Meine Vermutung ist das einem hier für fast 5 Euro ein Glas Eiswürfel mit Nescafé Pulver Kaffee gefüllt wurde. Für mich ist das warum in diesem Fall aber absolut nicht verständlich es gibt wohl Menschen für die das was ist ich gehöre auf jeden Fall nicht dazu

I was satisfied with my stay in Rostock at the Radisson blu. However, I deducted one star because the cleanliness in the bathroom didn't quite meet my expectations. Stains on the shower wall, on the bathroom door and the toilet paper was of very poor quality. The room was Very well located for the harbor and the staff were all very friendly and attentive.

It's the little details that impressed me. The rooms are very tastefully decorated and everything is top notch. Breakfast is an experience. A regional offering rounds off the diversity. The lobby is also a pleasure for waiting guests. Unfortunately we were only in Rostock for one night. We will definitely come back and recommend this hotel recommend .

Great hotel, location good. I booked a harbour view room, it was very nice, spacious and well kitted out. Spotless too. Great service throughout, rooftop bar is worth a visit. Parking was good too. Lifts took a bit of a faff to get to the carpark but otherwise very positive experience and stay.

The hotel has a good location. The room was a nice size with a nice view. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was also fine except that the shower head wasn't completely tight. Unfortunately, I didn't find the check-in very pleasant, rather impersonal and not welcome. Same when checking. This works much better for competitors. But everything is okay and acceptable.

I have already been to the Radisson in Lübeck a few times, which is why I chose the Radisson Blu for my short vacation (end of July 2024) in Rostock. And as expected, everything was first class. The room was very nice and clean, the service was quick and courteous and everything else was great. The location is ideal for excursions, the e-bikes take you everywhere and thanks to the breakfast you can start the day strengthened (the selection and quality are second to none, better than in many 5-star hotels). And the Green Deal is a great thing too! Fully recommended, 5 stars plus!

I deeply regret booking our family stay at the Radisson Blu in Rostock. The experience was nothing short of disappointing from start to finish. We reserved a family room, expecting comfort and cleanliness befitting the Radisson brand. Instead, we were greeted by a room that clearly hadn't been properly cleaned. Surfaces were dusty, and there were even some suspicious stains on the carpet. It's baffling how a hotel of this supposed caliber could overlook such basic hygiene standards. The worst part of our stay, however, was the unbearable heat in the room. Despite it being a "family room," the climate control was completely inadequate. The room felt like a sauna, making it impossible for any of us to get a good night's sleep. We tossed and turned all night, sweating and uncomfortable. For the price we paid, this level of service and comfort is absolutely unacceptable. I would strongly advise families – or anyone, for that matter – to avoid this hotel. There are surely better options in Rostock that actually care about their guests' comfort and well-being. One star is too generous for this disappointing excuse for a "luxury" hotel. Save your money and your sanity by staying elsewhere.

Nice upgrade- comfortable/roomy hotel with open atrium area( not accessible) and small group seating/ meeting areas on each level. Friendly staff, tram right out front, good location for nearby restaurants. Rooftop bar has curse of Germany - to many people - Terrible complimentary wine n Beer/ service.

It says on the website that there is an outdoor and indoor pool, but there is no pool at the hotel. The breakfast is good and above the usual level, but expensive (€24 per person even if it is children). There were mosquitoes in the room, but here we have probably just been unlucky. On the other hand, the fitness room is ok and the sauna room is delicious, but all in all the hotel is a disappointment.

The rooms are very clean and attractive. Everything is modernly furnished. The hotel is located above the harbor, directly on the pedestrian zone. The staff is very friendly and willing to have fun sometimes. The breakfast buffet is highly recommended! There is a lot to choose from and, if you wish, you can also make your own freshly prepared omelet. There is a very spacious underground car park under the hotel with direct access via a lift. A really nice, modern hotel. Well located. Close to the harbor (the view from the rooftop bar is gigantic) and to the center (the shopping street is right next door). It's about 15 minutes by car to the beach in Warnemünde and about 20 minutes by tram to the stadium. Stop directly in front of the hotel). The rooms are clean and large, the fitness and spa area is not huge but nicely done. The staff and service is great and friendly. I will gladly come again!

For us the ideal place to explore Rostock .. Bus/S-Bahn right in front of the door - free with the "Kurtaxen Karte" - .. great helpful and competent employees, nice rooms, parking garage directly below, great all around.
