Absolutely fine. We were there for lunch. The service was friendly. The price/performance ratio was still reasonable. It was definitely tasty. It's sufficient for lunch or a quick snack.
I've been a regular customer for many years. But the last meal was so tasteless, especially the sauce for the Jägerschnitzel was a disaster! I knew straight away that there must have been a change of ownership! The old owner was great for years, always the same quality, unfortunately a new owner and chef seems to have taken over the place 😭 I wonder why people like that don't copy the recipes from the previous owner and build on his quality! Unfortunately, you can't eat here anymore 😔 it's become pure luck whether something tastes good or not, the last gyros were little shreds of schnitzel, I've never seen anything like it, like the last scraps scraped together from a tablet. The schnitzel sauce didn't taste good at all, brown water thickened with a sauce thickener. I'm so sad that the old owner is gone and that I've lost my favorite regular Greek restaurant. 😭
Unfortunately we were a bit disappointed. Because of the good reviews we visited the Greek restaurant but unfortunately the food was only average and the price was already high. The gyros in Metaxa sauce is more of a cheese and cream sauce. The pure gyros was extremely fatty and mixed. The souvlaki were good.
The rice was only lukewarm and was very reminiscent of Croatian Djuvec rice. The fries were good.
The side salad was also very simple, nothing special.
Unfortunately no further visit from us.
Service was great, starters were plentiful but the main course was lacking in taste and there is only one ouzo, I know it differently and the toilets are a bit away at the campsite
The store had an owner, but many of the reviews here still apply to the previous owner.
New owner: Food very tasty, ugly art on the wall, price does not correspond to the previous owner (more expensive), not much for vegetarians, a lot of wine selection (one side of food, 20-25 sides of spirits), service overwhelmed (depending on the abundance)
We "stumbled" upon the service by chance on Lieferando and unfortunately didn't read the existing reviews, which we have to agree with completely. According to the description, all dishes are served with coleslaw (which was delicious), a side dish, and bread. The bread was a small roll (for three people, so it was probably cut into three pieces). There was no mention of tzatziki in the description, so we ordered some separately. It was included with all three dishes, though, which was a shame. The souvlaki was lukewarm and dry, but the ice-cold, unseasoned (? Maybe just "washed") fries, which were supposed to be croquettes, were swimming in the salad water. The lamb was dry and cold, the fries were soggy and wet. The gyros were delicious (same fries problem), and it was possible to order Metaxa sauce (for €5, but we only found out about that upon delivery). There were also four lukewarm croquettes packaged separately, so they weren't missing; they were probably just overlooked. That's why I gave it one star. The delivery person was nice. I can't comment on the atmosphere; we were at home.
I visit Wasili in the Krone almost regularly. So far I have never been disappointed with the food, service and friendliness. The Krone is certainly not a restaurant with 5 stars (hence the deduction of one star) but it is certainly “Good Bourgeois”. It's great that there are still restaurants like this. 😉
