Ever since I was little, my parents, my sister, and I have always gone to Hellas – almost weekly, you could say. We even had a personal connection with the owners: first it was George, then Spiros took over, and now it has another wonderful owner. I can definitely say that the food is just as delicious as it was over 35 years ago. The menu has been reduced to the best dishes. But that's not a bad thing; in fact, I think it's great. A restaurant doesn't need to offer 200 dishes. Fast food places do that. Here, quality is paramount, and you can taste it! Keep it up, dear owner! 🥰😘 You're doing everything right!!! And a shout-out to the staff: keep up the good work. It's simply a pleasure to work with people you can laugh with. We'll definitely be back!!!

The food was okay, plenty on the plate, and the service was good. However, it was a bit noisy when there were several large groups there.

We were there over the weekend and we really enjoyed it. Delicious food and a great atmosphere in the restaurant.

I was there today with my family and unfortunately, it was a complete disappointment. My meat skewers were incredibly greasy—way too greasy, really—and the gyros was cold and dry and tasted awful. When confronted, the staff were completely unable to take criticism and immediately felt attacked. €70 wasted. The atmosphere was very unpleasant because a group was shouting loudly, and the staff did nothing except pour more alcohol. Wait time: 1 hour 15 minutes (I set a stopwatch).

Eating at Hellas is like being on vacation in Greece. The atmosphere is lovely, enhanced by the music. There's a very good menu with a clear layout. The waitresses are on top of everything; they're quick and attentive. The food is also very good; I'd happily give it more than five stars. The value for money is definitely very good, as the portions are generous enough to fill you up. I enjoy going back to Hellas again and again. I can recommend it.

Based on the great reviews, we decided to visit this restaurant this weekend – unfortunately, our experience didn't live up to the standards described in the reviews. We missed the warmth and hospitality typical of Greek restaurants, where even first-time customers always feel welcome. The greeting and service at the table were reserved. We were only asked once if we enjoyed our meal, but otherwise, we had no opportunity to order more drinks at the table. The tzatziki we ordered beforehand was tasty – unfortunately, it wasn't included with the main courses. We didn't realize that there was no extra tzatziki with the meat and would have kept the rest of the appetizer otherwise. The food itself arrived hot and without much of a wait. It tasted okay, but could have been seasoned more for our liking. The interior is charmingly decorated in the style of a Greek restaurant. There is ample seating both inside and outside. Card payments are accepted.

Food was okay. However, the cashier hit one of the employees when she picked it up. Maybe take a mental break and think about whether something like that is appropriate.

A very pleasant evening at the Greek restaurant. I celebrated my birthday here and was very happy to dine here on my special day. The waiters did a fantastic job! Everyone was incredibly friendly and attentive, and they truly cared about our comfort. Their recommendations were absolutely delicious! I would definitely recommend this restaurant, especially because of the excellent service.

Food wasn't that good. The Giros was very crispy and sizzled, the Greek meatball was not cooked through, the onion and champions were sizzled. You had to order the tzatziki with your meal separately. Sorry after a long time and you don't need it. Were regular customers here

I don't know why so many people have a bad opinion of the restaurant. If you work in a restaurant, you may have requirements. Because these people go to great lengths and hurry to keep the food warm.

We were there on December 31st, 2024. We had pre-ordered a table and you also had to pre-order the food for that evening. No problem at all. Even though we ordered in advance, we had to wait a long time for the food. I left the starter back because it had absolutely nothing to do with what it was supposed to be. In between we noticed how the daughter of the house was pretty harsh on the staff. The second starter was equally humble. Then finally the main course came. The gyro was hard and dried out. No response from the operator. Then when we paid, everything was combined but we wanted to pay separately. The answer was that she didn't have time for that. 🤔UNFORTUNATELY, this place is going very badly

When there are many guests, the service decreases. Waiting time to clear the table and waiting time to be able to pay. I was there with my family on January 11, 2025. There was no receipt! To receive an invoice, I should leave my address so that the invoice will be sent to me by mail. Today is January 22, 2025 and so far I haven't received an invoice! Snail mail?

It was cold in the restaurant. The atmosphere of the waitresses is similar. Loud shouting between the staff. Everything seemed pretty careless. The food was lukewarm, the portions were generous. Only the taste was good. To pay by card you had to come to the counter. We will not eat here again.

We were there and had a Christmas party. Unfortunately we had to wait a very long time for our food and it didn't come completely, there were a lot of things missing. We pointed out to the waiter twice that our food was not complete and the drinks were missing. Maybe it was because it was a Saturday evening but then they should hire more staff or not accept so many reservations. I will give this restaurant a wide berth in the future!!

Went there to eat with some people today and had to wait over 2 hours for the food or even over 2 hours. Food was warm at the table and one was even cold. In general, the food was a complete mess... Sorry, that doesn't work at all... When we paid, we also realized that a lot of things were left unfinished, even though we had all paid. For me and some others in the group it was the first and last time. Personally, I think it's a shame because the old owner ran the business very well.

In winter the restaurant is very cold, sitting is impossible. The salad is not a salad. The best thing is the note that at the end 10 percent will be added to the final bill. Not recommended

We were at the last minute. The cook was already about to leave. That's why we only had one dish to choose from 😉. We gratefully accepted this. It was very tasty. Nobody made the point that they actually wanted to close. The service was very, very friendly. It's clean there and you can easily spend several hours here. Great ambience.

We were there for dinner today, April 1st, 2023. The boss and the employees were very nice and did a good job. Unfortunately I also have something negative, I'll try to explain it in detail. Ambiance: 4.5 stars was really very nice, everything in a nice ambience that you would expect from a Greek restaurant. Service: 5 stars the service really did its job excellently Food: 2 stars The taste was good but there were only 2 tables occupied in the restaurant at lunchtime on a Easter holiday. But unfortunately the whole food was only lukewarm to cold. I just think if there are only two tables occupied on a day like this in a fairly large restaurant, then it's not too much to ask for the food to come to the table hot. We were there with 11 adults and 2 children and there were plates.

We would like to thank you for a great evening. Service, price performance, taste etc. exactly to our liking. Thank you very much!

Nettes Lokal, freundliches Personal aber nur mittelmäßiges Essen. Gyros war zu hart und wirkte aufgewärmt.

Leckeres essen, Gyros war etwas verbrannt, sonst alles lecker, etwas zu dunkel im Raum.

Ein gemütliches griechisches Restaurant zum Wohlfühlen mit schönem Wintergarten, in dem ich wie viele Andere am liebsten sitze. Bin seit Jahren Stammgast und genieße das lecker Essen. Bin noch nicht enttäuscht worden. Immer gerne wieder !

Wenn wohlhabendere Leute neben ein am Tisch sitzen wird man links liegen gelassen.

An Tonella Run* Der Laden war super und die Bedienung war spot on. Leider habe ich als Gast aus Zufall ein Telefonat mitbekommen. Die Chefin hat Ihnen angeboten das Essen zurückzubringen oder entweder etwas Neues zu bestellen oder das Geld zurückzubekommen. Daraufhin meinten die Gäste, dass sie das essen schon aufgegessen hätten, obwohl es ja angeblich ungenießbar war. Einen Sinn sehe ich darin überhaupt nicht und finde es eine Frechheit. Seit Jahren bin ich bei Hellas Stammkunde und habe hier nie schlechtes Essen bekommen. So eine unsinnige Rezension ist schamlos. Mein Essen war wie immer hervorragend.

Sehr lecker, sehr nettes Personal

Wenn man einen Griechen in Lohne sucht ist man hier total richtig. Die Stimmung ist originell! Das essen schmeckt auch super und es gibt nichts daran auszusetzen. Personal top! Also wer gerne griechisch isst, Hellas ist die perfekte Wahl!!!

Lecker Gyros aus der Nähe. Alles was man sich von einen Griechen erwarten kann. Die Atmosphäre aber auch das Essen. Bedienung war mal wieder super und wir wurden auch am Ende sehr freundlich verabschiedet. Natürlich gab es auch am Ende ein Ouzu aufs Haus! Ich kann Hellas nur weiterempfehlen!!!

Super lecker und der Service war perfekt. Die Inneneinrichtung sieht aus wie in Griechenland mit dem schönen Hellblau und den ganzen Pflanzen. Auch gab die Chefin am Ende einen schön kalten Ouzu aus. Kann ich nur jedem weiterempfehlen! Der beste Grieche aus Lohne.

Möchte meine Bewertung aktualisieren. Wir schreiben das Jahr 2022 und gewöhnen uns an die Pandemie 😷 Umso weniger verstehe ich, wie man beim bezahlen zu hören bekommt, das Kartenzahlung nicht möglich ist🤬 Ich zahle meine Brötchen beim Bäcker bargeldlos, meine Einkäufe, meine online Bestellung. Sogar meine Parktickets im Parkhaus. Bei Hellas darf ich nach dem Essen zur Bank fahren und meine Frau als Pfand zurück lassen. Das macht sowas von Spaß und motiviert uns total, dort schnell wieder essen zu gehen 👎🏻 Sind erst mal durch mit den Laden, natürlich unsere ganz persönliche Entscheidung. Es gibt auch tolle Griechen in Vechta und anderswo. Tatsächlich kann man dort ganz selbstverständlich bargeldlos bezahlen, sogar mit Trinkgeld Funktion Das Essen bei Hellas ist Ok, aber nichts außergewöhnliches. Das Personal ist sehr nett, da gibt es nichts zu meckern😉 .
