Passing through, I ended up here. Ate outside on the terrace. The food was delicious and plentiful. The service was excellent, very friendly. The only downside was the large number of wasps, but that's nature.

We were happy with everything around it.

The food portions and prices are disproportionate. It was delicious, but the portions are small.

Update: Upon request, they added more tzatziki. 😁 The meat was crispy, and so was the calamari. It gets better every time. Good Greek restaurant in the center of Erlangen with a beer garden on Bohlenplatz. Tasty food and impeccable service in the modernly furnished Brockhaus restaurant. Restrooms are on the ground floor. I find the atmosphere inside a bit chilly. It's very nice outside in the summer. I think it would be cool if there were more tzatziki.

Nothing was right there. No service, no plate was intact, and the Greek food was terrible. But the prices were steep. The online menu doesn't match the original one. Besides, the parking lot in front of the restaurant is public, not private. So if I want to park there, I'll park there. My conclusion: The evening was awful.

We ate at Santorini with good friends yesterday. We were all very disappointed 😞 and it had nothing to do with the food at the previous Santorini. The warm starter plate for two was far too expensive at €21 for the quality, and although we had the starter, we didn't have any plates or cutlery. After a while, I went to the counter myself and ordered those. We all ordered the main courses with giro sauce. The giro sauce tasted like roast pork and had nothing to do with Greek food. Zero Greek spices and it was far from crispy. It certainly didn't come from the grill. Also, as other reviews have said, the salad was meager. It should also be mentioned that the food came on chipped earthenware plates. We had shown this to the waiter when clearing away. The waiter asked us if we liked it. I'm not usually one for reviews, but in this case, I have to say: It's a shame for the money 💰 we paid, and I was annoyed that I and our friends were so taken in. Where is the old Santorini?

That was a complete flop... Among other things, we ordered calamari for pickup. These (like the fries) were unfortunately very soggy. They may have gone soggy during the three-minute drive home, but that could be improved. The portion was also quite small. Our salads weren't included or were forgotten. The teaspoon of tartar sauce simply tasted like it came from a bottle. Additionally, the calamari was very greasy. A little more salt and pepper wouldn't have hurt. The value for money was rather low. I'd rather not go back. Why two stars instead of one: at least the calamari wasn't rock hard and was still quite chewy. Which, however, is probably the bare minimum for a restaurant specializing in Greek cuisine. Edith: The calamari actually cost €18.50 ☠️. The website says €17.00. We weren't given any information about the price increase.

"Greek" was just the menu here – they were obviously cutting corners on the rest. A farmer's salad that "doesn't pay off"? Then a second visit isn't worth it either.

The best Greek restaurant in Erlangen.

The allergens are incorrectly listed on the menu. Gyros contains gluten, according to the menu, and gyros with breaded calamari are gluten-free—a serious deficiency for people with celiac disease. We opted for souvlaki. The two skewers looked very lost on the plate; the rice was omitted out of ignorance and had to be ordered separately. The salad was also very small, no tzatziki—just plain. Even though the staff were friendly, you can expect restaurants these days to be reliably knowledgeable about allergens. They also skipped the ouzo for us, but the bill included three too many drinks. The dishes could use a replacement; all the plates were badly damaged.

Nice outdoor seating and delicious food! Everything is freshly prepared.

Portions were very small, but the price was very high. The kitchen staff weren't familiar with allergens, so they simply left something out instead of asking (a chef would know). The bill was even incorrect at the end – there were more drinks on the bill than consumed. Guests were served according to their whims, and the usual custom was also forgotten. Not to sound wrong, I'm not entitled to it, but if the other guests get one 🤔

The service was very good and the food was delicious, but the portions are really small for the price. The side salad barely covered the bottom of the plate. The souvlaki came with a tiny portion of rice, the size of a scoop of ice cream.

Everything was excellent: good service, fast service, and fair prices. The food was top-notch.

The size of the appetizer (calamari) was either a joke or too expensive. The fries were limp and bland. There wasn't even tea, even though it was on the menu. We had to ask for cutlery again while the food was getting cold. Overall, there's still a lot of room for improvement.

A culinary highlight – Greece in the heart of Erlangen! We were absolutely thrilled! From the very first moment, you can feel the warm, family-like atmosphere – just like in a real Greek tavern. The service was extremely friendly, attentive, and quick, without ever being intrusive. The food? Simply fantastic. Fresh, aromatic, and lovingly prepared. The appetizer platter was a dream of tzatziki, dolmadakia, feta, and more – perfectly matched. For the main course, we had souvlaki and lamb chops – tender, juicy, and grilled to perfection. The side dishes were also high-quality and delicious. Another highlight: the house wine – round, smooth, and a wonderful match for the meal. And to finish, a small dessert and ouzo on the house – simply charming. This restaurant is a true gem for anyone who loves authentic Greek cuisine. We'll definitely be back – and soon! Hi, six of us were there last night. My conclusion: Anyone who has been going to a Greek restaurant for decades expects a normal standard of service from the well-known dishes, both in terms of taste, quantity, and ingredients like coleslaw and (of course) tzatziki. We had two regular dishes, but for whatever reason, there was no(!) tzatziki. Upon request, we had to reorder it (at an extra cost). The appetizer platter, for just under 20 euros, was beyond meager and poorly presented. A souvlaki plate consisted of two skewers draped crosswise with a tasteless rice ball in the middle—that was it. No tzatziki, no decorative toppings. Substitutions like preferring fries to potatoes were not possible! All in all: acceptable ambiance, friendly, if noncommittal, service, but unfortunately far below Greek culinary standards. Of five culinary-rich Franconian day experiences, this was by far the most disappointing.

Friendliness and willingness to accommodate special requests could be improved. The vegetarian plate could be more generous. Overall, there's room for improvement.

We are visiting from America and have eaten here three times in the past week and a half with great food and excellent service. The staff is very friendly. I would highly recommend ,one of my favorite places here in Erlangen…..Love the Santorini decor….

We were there at lunchtime with work (about 20 people). It was opened especially for us and the service was really great. Despite the large number of people, the food was ready quickly. Highly recommended!

Loved the place and the food even after my second time here. Food was very well balanced including the seasoning of the salad which is easily forgotten. Definitely recommend. Still good at the 3rd time, quality not lost.

The quality of food was not acceptable at all, Zucchini and Eggplant as starter was poor in presentation, quality and taste. The vegetarian plate wasn’t looking good at first look and tasted similar, very small portion, fluffy zucchini and eggplant, quality terrible. Not worth the price. Chicken was ok but couldn’t be too much wrong with it, Gyros big portion but not much taste neither. The prawns as a main dish again dissatisfying and rather poor, it could have been anything but Greek. A disappointing experience in quality, presentation and taste, this has nothing to do with Greek food and wonder why they are selling something like that to people, it’s an insult and stealing from customers. The question is, do they know about Greek Food or Greece in general? With the food we got we doubt.

Everything was great, we were a group of 10 people and were served straight away, the waiting time was very short and that Staff very nice, there's really nothing to criticize!!!

The food was good, excellent cooking, good house wine. The only problem was that you couldn't have separate accounts when paying by card, what a stupid rule, I left really angry. I won't go back there again.

It's been a long time since I've had such a good Greek meal! The restaurant is beautifully decorated, the service was super friendly and fulfilled all your special requests and the food was absolutely delicious! Whether you like lamb, fish or gyros - they can do it all!

We have really enjoyed coming to Santorini since the change in ownership. The service is attentive and quick. The food tastes like it was freshly prepared and the meat (suvlaki) is very tender. After the renovation everything looks bright and friendly and the toilets have been newly renovated. Great!

I ordered via Lieferando, it arrived very quickly, after less than 25 minutes, the gyros with fries was very tasty, the portions are really good for the price. The young man who delivered was very polite and accommodating. I will definitely order again.

There has probably been a change of ownership because a lot has happened since my last visit. The furnishings are now much more contemporary. The outdoor area directly at Bohlenplatz was already a reason in itself to visit the restaurant. The service was quick and friendly. The appetizer platter was excellent. What should be highlighted positively is that not only eggplants and zucchini were fried, as is the case with some other Greeks, but a colorful selection with plenty of cheese was served. Unfortunately, the main courses couldn't live up to this, some were a bit too tasteless and the calamari wasn't properly gutted. This shouldn't happen and should urgently improve. The dessert was classic and good.

We came to the restaurant spontaneously without a reservation and were initially offered a seat inside (everything outside was full). But when someone canceled, we were offered a place outside. Delicious food, but there was one setback (hence only 3 stars): the starter plate for 2 people for a whopping €18.00 ❗️ There were only a few balls, several double, out of a total of 3 creams on the plate and 3 slices of sheep's cheese and 3 rolls (see photo). It's been a long time since a starter plate has been this EXPENSIVE... (e.g. at Hana in Erlangen 10 different portions for less money, but also at other Greek restaurants) Probably won't come back...

You will be welcomed and greeted with a smile. The restaurant is run by a father-son team who treat every guest like a regular. A wide variety of dishes, friendly staff and a pleasant atmosphere, both indoors and outdoors. I definitely recommend a visit.

Very unfriendly staff. We went as a family for dinner and were waiting on the tables outside. It is not true that we were eating or drinking anything, we offer to pay extra or to cooperate with the staff, since we knew we were early. They asked us to leave in a very unfriendly way.

Die Portionen waren unverschämt klein und selbst für große Portionen viel zu teuer. Ich bin sehr enttäuscht. Ich war mit meiner Familie meinen Geburtstag feiern, wenn es ein Date gewesen wäre hätte ich mich geschämt dort zu sein. Ich hab noch nie so kleine Portionen gesehen.

Erlangen - one of the most beautiful (Greek) restaurants in Germany that I have visited so far. The owner was super nice, the whole staff was very friendly and accommodating, the food was simply fantastic, the price was great. Anyone who is staying in Erlangen or nearby or is driving past and is hungry, this is the right address. I can highly recommend this restaurant.

Really njce Greek food! We had to find a place to dine in at , on New Year’s Eve quite last minute as the previously booked restaurant declined our booking. But Santorini restaurant accommodated us quite in a friendly way. Service was awesome and the food was delicious!

Wir waren heute zum ersten Mal nach dem Pächter Wechsel hier zum Essen. Das Lokal wurde mit einem neuen Lichtkonzept überarbeitet. Alles wirkt frischer und freundlicher als vorher. Der Service ist hervorragend. Sehr nettes Personal erfüllt dem Gast seine Wünsche. Auch das Essen lässt keine Wünsche offen. Die Vielfalt an Speisen auf der Karte ist typisch Griechisch, für den Deutschen, Fleischlastigen Gaumen geschrieben. Vegetarier und Veganer kommen auch auf ihre Kosten. Das Essen hat etwas gedauert...das Lokal war Rappelvoll, aber gut Ding will Weile haben. Nach 30 Minuten waren unsere Speisen fertig. Vom Geschmack war nichts auszusetzen. Die Lammkeule hätte wärmer sein können. Offenbar stand sie etwas länger im Paß. Trotzdem war der Geschmack überzeugend, wenn sogar hervorragend. Das Fleisch war so zart, das es freiwillig vom Knochen fiel. Ich habe selten eine so delikate Lammkeule serviert bekommen. Während des Essens hat das aufmerksame Personal immer ein Auge auf dem Gast. Für Samstagabend war das Lokal gut gefüllt. Es empfiehlt sich in jedem Fall zu reservieren. Der Lärmpegel ist im gefüllten Lokal etwas unangenehm. Leider ist es etwas Unruhig, da die Raucher in regelmäßigen Abständen das Lokal vor die Tür verlassen. Resümee: Der neue Pächter hat sein Lokal sehr geschmackvoll aufgehübscht. Das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend. Die Speisen sind hervorragend. Die Preise würde ich, für Erlangen typisch, als gehoben bezeichnen. Der obligatorische Ouzo vor dem Essen fehlt nicht. Ohne Ansprüche zu stellen, würde ich mir nach Begleichung der Rechnung, noch einen netten Gruß vom Wirt in Form eines Ouzo 's wünschen. Aber das sind Kleinigkeiten. Wir kommen wieder, mit der Hoffnung, daß nach der Erhöhung der Mehrwertsteuer auf 19%, das Essen im Santorini bezahlbar bleibt und wünschen dem jungen Wirt alles Gute.
