I've been coming to Poseidon for years. The food is still very good.

Unfortunately the food was a bit too salty and the prices are quite high. But you sit well and the service was great.

The Greek restaurant impresses with fantastic food of the highest quality, making every dish a delight! The stylish and very well-kept interior rounds off the experience perfectly and creates a pleasant atmosphere!

First visit to Poseidon with family. Ambience very nice, service courteous and quick. Starters good to very good. The saganaki from the oven was particularly great. Unfortunately, the normal one is not so special. The tzatziki average. The main courses excellent. Rarely get such good meat. No matter whether steak, souvlaki or gyros. Extremely tender and not dry at all. The side salad also had a perfect dressing. Prices are a bit more faithful. Would love to come back.

Always a good choice for Greek food.

Have been enjoying Greek food here for several years. The food itself tastes very authentic and is delicious. However, one thing really bothers us: in the higher price range we expect tzatziki to be included in the price of a plate. Unfortunately none. It must be ordered and paid for separately. We know this differently from other Greek restaurants. The prices for the starters have also risen unpleasantly, so that you can no longer afford them. Unfortunately, often only 0.33 l drinks. Still recommended for those with larger budgets.

I’ve almost given up on Greek food but these guys know what their doing - esp Fish. their beergarden is beautiful

Business dinner with agreed starters and à la carte courses. The appetizers were a spectacle. Real Greek cuisine. I took the mixed platter: all excellent meat, the lamb ribs memorable. The wines are good Courteous, friendly and non-intrusive service Everyone was kind and helpful To date the best Greek restaurant outside of Greece that I have ever tried.

When the restaurant is full, there is a lot of noise

Great food...nice service and comfortable ambience. Baklawa is one of the best you can get anywhere. Good authentic Greek food served and options available even for a vegetarian. Parking may sometimes be an issue, but you would get it more often than not in one of the adjacent domestic roads.

Upscale Greek restaurant with exceptionally good quality. The meat dishes were perfectly grilled and the gyros were nice and crispy. I have rarely eaten such good Greek food anywhere.

Primitive operation. The four of us just wanted to order a few drinks, then maybe something to eat later. Nobody informed us at the entrance that it wasn't allowed and we had to order food straight away like at McDonald's...The "manager" gestured primitively across the beer garden to us. We just decided to just leave this place. I won't recommend it. I don't like places without class. I've spent a lot of money here in the past. Food is okay, but not the best Greek in Erlangen. I'm never coming back. 🤢😉

I heard a lot of good things about this restaurant so I went to eat there during my big break. The reception and handing over of the menu was friendly. But then: In the middle of ordering, the waiter preferred to attend to incoming guests and let me wait first, which in my opinion is not appropriate! Taramas and octopus salad were delicious but there wasn't enough bread - so I ordered some more. I wanted to order something else and was completely ignored despite clear hand signals, even though various waiters often walked past my table. When I told the waiter (coincidentally the one who welcomed me in a friendly manner), his explanation was very simple: "We also have other guests." Apart from the fact that I had to leave again, it got to the point that I had no appetite or desire to eat or drink anything else there 😟!! The kicker was the bill: They charge extra money for 3 small slices of bread (guess baguette or ciabatta) 😠!!!! This is the first Greek restaurant that charges extra money for re-ordered bread (as mentioned, there were only 3 small slices!!)!!! I can understand it when a guest or guests order bread again and again and again. I, on the other hand, only reordered once and expressly said that I needed a little bread!!! When I asked the waiter who had paid me about it, his explanation was: "That's just the way it is with us" 😳!!! They say: "Never say never" but after the frustrating negative experience 😥 the likelihood that I will enter this restaurant again is extremely low!!!!!

Great outdoor area even when it rains. Food very tasty and varied. The service was also impeccable. Deserved five stars

Perfect garden, super delicious food, large selection, great organization, very nice service, The only restriction: the gravel surface within the tiled border (paths) is extremely unfavorable. The chairs can only be moved with great difficulty. Best regards

Had dinner here in the beer garden after a sunny day. The garden is relatively large and modern. You sit very comfortably. The staff is very attentive, helpful and quick. Everything from the starter to the main course to the dessert was very tasty. The price is absolutely right for Erlangen. The only difficult thing here is parking, which is typical for the city. Conclusion: I am very satisfied. I'm already looking forward to the next time.

Super juicy souvlaki We were there with family. Service was friendly, the restaurant was completely reserved, a good sign. The menu had the usual suspects, with the Stifado being a special feature, which is not available everywhere. The souvlaki was world class, juicy and tender, not dry like you often get. Only the volume was a bit high, but that doesn't justify deducting points. Gladly again.

Musaka was served quickly but half warm. Hopefully it's been in the fridge and not just lying around for hours.

Unfortunately, Poseidon has noticeably weakened after Corona. Be it in the service but especially with the food. The service employees are overwhelmed, listless and sometimes very snippy. Questions are often answered rather unfriendly. The quality of the food is now worse than it used to be, but the prices have of course increased (which wouldn't be a problem if the quality remained the same). We have already had the situation where a piece of meat was served still half frozen. It's really a shame, because they really mastered the craft. Appeal to the owners: please concentrate more on the essentials, then you'll be happy to come by again!

One of the best restaurants in Erlangen!

Reordered a drink 3 times and forgot each time. After 30 minutes our ordered drink finally arrived. No apology - nothing.

We have enjoyed going to Poseidon for many years. Either in the beautiful and well-kept beer garden or in the restaurant. Food very good - only the salad could do with more refinement. Service nice and attentive. Unfortunately prices are a bit expensive.

In the usual and good manner. But somehow the pizzazz was missing.

Beautiful decor, amazing staff (especially Athena), great food. Tried the Traditional Appetizers (Traditionelle griechische Vorspeisen) and everything was tasty, but my favourite was the cheese pockets, and the beans. Main course we had the Musaka and it was absolutely delicious. HIGHLY recommend this dish. Also tried the grill platter (chicken, lamb, gyros). It was tasty but the meat was dry. The tzatziki was tasty. As a final suggestion by our waitress Athena we tried the Chocolate Soufflé cake and it was AMAZING. Highly recommend coming here and trying the traditional Greek plates.

The food was delicious again but waiting 40 minutes for the food was a bit too long, otherwise it would have been 5 stars.

Good food and nice decor. When re-ordering tzatziki, 6€ was charged for 3 small spots. I just find that cheeky and outrageous. Here you could accommodate the guest a little.

We ate in this restaurant for the second time today. The first time was simply a coincidence because the other Greek restaurant wasn't open at lunchtime. We are Greek and know Greek tastes very well. The Poseidon is simply awesome, I don't want to exaggerate, but I think it's the best Greek restaurant in Germany We can only recommend!!!

Food was very good. I found it a bit of a shame that I didn't get any tzatziki with my meal. Giros and Bifteki are actually not possible without them. Maybe it was because the group of over 20 people was too large to order a la carte. Otherwise everything is great!

The atmosphere when you enter the restaurant has a Greek flair! The staff is friendly and gives you the time you need to enjoy the whole thing and let everything sink in! Since 1986 Stammgast. Gehoben griechische Gastronomie mit sehr schönem Biergarten. Qualität der Speisen rechtfertigt das mittlerweile hohe Preisniveau. Absolut Empfehlenswert.

Es wurde unsete Betriebsfeier abgehalten.Parkplatzsuche war etwas aufwendig, da in 30er Zone.Essen war sehr lecker( Stifado) und auf Vorspeisenplatte(kalt) gab es viele vetschiedene Speisen.Service war auf Zack und sehr nett.

Soğuk meze tabağı, zeytinyağı, ahtapot ızgara ve uzo palamari mükemmeldi, sonrasında yediğimiz galaktoboreki ve yanındaki siyah çay da çok lezzetliydi. Aldıkları paranin hakkını vermişler. Her şey cok lezzetli, ilgi çok güzel, ambiyans çok güzeldi. Her şey için çok teşekkürler
