Simply fantastic! 100 stars! We were there with friends just before Christmas for an outstanding dinner evening with live music in a wonderful atmosphere! The whole team works with so much heart, you can taste and feel it! The food, the wines, the atmosphere, the location, and the entire service were simply top-notch! An unforgettable evening! What can I say? The food is delicious, prices are reasonable, the restaurant is busy, and the service is excellent. So, everything's fine. Update 2025-08 There's nothing new to report from the sawmill. Everything's still great!

Delicious steak, large selection of beers, and extremely friendly staff.

I order from you very often, but this time I was disappointed: The delivery for 4 people was much too small – more like 3. Maybe they didn't have large platters, but the quantity should still be right. For €100, I expected more. It's a shame. Two years ago, the grill platter for 4 people cost €70 and was significantly larger. Now the same order costs €105, but it's about 25-30% smaller, and the missing meat is "compensated" with a large amount of flatbread. The food is still delicious – no question about it – but as a regular customer, I won't be ordering from here again. Unfortunately, it's no longer about quality and good food, but only about profit based on the once good reputation, which is unfortunately no longer justified today.

Yesterday, we had our small Christmas party with about 20 people at this restaurant – and it was simply first-class. The food was excellent, as were the side dishes; everything was fresh and prepared with great care. We would especially like to commend the service: The owner was incredibly attentive, warm, and always available without being intrusive. We felt completely at ease and can wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant.
