The food somehow wasn't entirely convincing. I had been to Kreuzberg before and it was somehow better there. It could also be a coincidence, but I think the restaurant on Hasenheide is somehow nicer.

Fantastic experience at Chay Long! Came to take away, got a complimentary ice tea drink, the soup was in a lovely glass jar (amazing!), soup and the peanut curry were delicious! Very nice service, and especially these small details made our visit feel really special! Highly recommend! 💚

First time eating at vegan restaurant and in my opinion it’s really good!! Waiters are friendly and love the atmosphere here as well.

The food is okay, but that's about it. The service is simply non-existent. First we had to wait a long time for the menu and then another very long time to take our order, although only 3 of the tables were occupied. So there wasn't much going on. When it came to drinks, we were brought the wrong drink - okay, that can happen. Then the food came. A main course was forgotten here and when it didn't come after a while, we decided to forego it. To be on the safe side, we went in again and let them know (no one came to the table the whole time, otherwise we would have asked long ago). The table wasn't cleared for ages and we waited a long time to even be able to ask for the bill. Here too we ended up going to the store ourselves to be able to pay. But then the main course appeared again on the bill, which we never got. We had to discuss this for a while and it ended with us going out to the tables to go through the plates again and see what was on them (it's a good thing that the plates hadn't been cleared away in the last half hour). I have never experienced anything so absurd in my life. Instead of admitting the mistake, apologizing for it, or waiving the drinks for the inconvenience, they simply took it off the bill and didn't say another word about it. Unfortunately, this really has nothing to do with service and we definitely won't be going back here. There are simply too many Vietnamese restaurants in Berlin that are much better positioned.

I still think it's great here even though the prices have now been raised due to inflation. My friend and I like to eat the udon noodles, the satay skewers, edamame, rice noodles with salad and chili sauce. -> Update 07.2024 We have eaten here many times and it was time for a review. My favorite vegan Asian! Value for money is great! The food comes quickly and I've never had to wait long, not even for the drinks. The food tastes very tasty! Pho is great for recharging your energy, you'll be fit again quickly and it also helps with a cold, basically instead of chicken broth. The teas also taste great and are freshly prepared, without any pre-made tea bags. I almost always order the smoothies, I've tried almost all of them and thought they were great. We always enjoyed the satay sticks particularly well, I hope they can be delivered from Vietnam again soon. There's nothing to complain about when it comes to the main courses, they're all delicious. We haven't tried desserts yet. I like coming here with friends or family. The ambience is nice, it can get a bit noisy inside when it gets busy, but that can't be helped with so many guests. There is plenty of space outside. A big compliment to the waitress, they really try hard, especially the two young women! Thank you! Kamala and Kevin

I’m a US east coast vegan and honestly haven’t given Vietnamese food much of a chance at home in Philadelphia and I cannot believe how delicious everything was and I’m so glad I came here. In Berlin, we’ve tried a few Vietnamese restaurants now and this was by far my favorite one. The iced coffee tasted like a treat and the peanut sauce with spring rolls was so refreshing. The arugula and veggies were so fresh and the summer rolls had so much flavor. Everything was done with so much attention and care. The menu was reversible to read in either English or German. Definitely come try this place, it’s very obvious that they take pride in their food. Thanks so much for a great experience!

Exceptionally delicious food, lovingly prepared and friendly served. Absolutely a celebration even for all non-vegans! We shared tapas and couldn't decide what we liked best... the desserts are also delicious. Definitely coming back.

The restaurant has just opened in the neighborhood and is an absolute recommendation! We were there for the first time today and had the udon noodles with seitan and the sliced ​​meat (seitan) with vegetables and it was really outstanding! The sauce and the seitan are a poem 🥰 The service was extremely courteous and polite, we were offered blankets straight away. We will be back definitely! ✨

The food is out of this world! We don’t usually go for vegan food and were close to this restaurant by chance. We ordered the coconut soup, betel leaf wraps, and the monastery style vegetables with seitan. There is a lovely outside sitting area in quiet street. The food was so fresh, delicious, and flavorful! Thank you very much!

Nice little restaurant, the staff is very friendly and the food is delicious. We had reserved, unfortunately something went wrong, but we still got a place. No problem. The prices are fair and it is clean and tidy. Maybe not necessarily suitable for children, but there could be one or two vegan children's meals on the menu. But that also depends on the children, but fries with a small vegan “schnitzel” would definitely always work. We'd love to come back.

It was close to their closing hour. Despite that we tried to be very polite and leave on time. The lady that was working there was very rude and obviously was trying to kick us out. I didn’t manage to finish my food on time so i asked to take away. But for some reason they packed only the soup i was eating and not the salad that was left untouched.

Good food, the vegan duck is very close to the original. But the restaurant is not run with a vegan heart. The menu, for example, has a pretty clear real leather strip used.
