Great Sambusas, nice Atmosphere, very good service.

Unfortunately we couldn't try the restaurant because it wasn't open, even though it said on the internet that the restaurant was supposed to be open on Sundays from 5 p.m. Another couple was waiting with us and also looked very disappointed. Would have liked to have tried it and walked a relatively long way, only to be unfortunately disappointed. It's a shame.

A rustic atmosphere on the old ship. A variety of stands where you can bring your own food to the table. Nice bar and comfortably arranged tables to linger.

When the restaurant is full it gets very loud.

Ordered a halloumi plate and then unpacked a falafel plate at home. Sauce wasn't closed properly and everything leaked out and was completely soaked. Too bad!

The ambience shows another old use of the rooms, but it has been "repurposed" and redesigned quite well. The food was absolutely great and was very well received by everyone! I can't judge whether it is "authentic" because I have never enjoyed original African food (in which of the many countries?). The service and handling were very attentive and it was very quiet and friendly! Definitely a real “hit!”

I ordered Chicken Jollof Rice for delivery. But the food came without chicken! Instead of chicken I got beef. Very disappointed.

We had the first zero there a few years ago, now again with expectations that were perhaps too high. Unfortunately, we were unpleasantly surprised that there were no crocodile, and there probably hadn't been a zebra for a while either, which was a shame. Cocktails are great, as are the staff and ambience, a homely feeling is successfully conveyed here. Unfortunately one of the pieces of meat was very tough and hardly edible. Me and my wife went out for dinner there. When you enter the restaurant you are immediately greeted in a friendly manner and shown to your table. The food is very very tasty. Starter, main course and dessert. We had a very nice evening. Tasting plate and fish dish, both highly recommended. Gladly again.

If the cooks in the kitchen dance to African music while cooking, the food can only be good! Very friendly staff and you can 100% taste the passion and love for food. Only recommended!

I'm not an expert on African cuisine (although you shouldn't say that, because African cuisine is very diverse and regionally different), but I really enjoyed it!! Service was good and courteous. However, I rate this objectively. There would be 5 stars for a mega-top service from upscale gastronomy. I was still satisfied! Ambience: It's a restaurant right next to the football field. It doesn't bother me, on the contrary: the remoteness means that the grill and smoker can run without residents complaining. (By the way: the grilled specialties are top notch!) Conclusion: I've been there twice and will definitely come back! If you like African cuisine and don't have a problem with a pub atmosphere, you're definitely in good hands here. It's definitely me!

For the first time in 40 years, I ate fufu with fish and fried plantain with beans the way it should be: exactly the way I knew it from my youth, when I was in Ghana for a few months. This restaurant, the people who work here and the people who come here to eat, it's not just a restaurant or bistro, it's a "place" where everything is just the way it is. Thank you for letting us be here! And to the people who are upset about people eating with their fingers: You could be just as upset about chopsticks in a Chinese restaurant.
