Alinta gave us great advice and was incredibly kind and sweet to us. We had a fantastic vegetarian meal and a truly wonderful evening ✨☺️

Ok food. A bit overpriced as others have mentioned. Service was less than mediocre and unfortunately the waitress had a bit of an attitude. The others did not seem so, but this is who was assigned to us. Pretty unfriendly and a very long wait for the food. They were also out of several items (appetizers and drinks). Nonetheless we enjoyed the food here.

What a horrible experience eating at this restaurant, from an ethiopian client perspective the food was inedible, very small overpriced dishes and most importantly not fresh. The apex was the bad customer experince we incurred. For start the injera bread was stale and not made on the day, following this the minced meat for the Kitfo dish, was not fresh. The tips dishes were maximum 200gr but of the lowest quality of meat and were served with hardly any sauce. The mixed platter dish, with meat sauces and veggies, was solely abhorrent. The zighni and white meat part were a reheat of overcooked frozen sauces similarly to the vegatables, the dish was very stale or bitter, clear sign of the lack of quality in their cooking. On tasting all the elements, this was highlighted to them, the manager/owner was informed by his staff and rather than addressing this issue, his attention was devoted to the next table. We left the dishes as per the attached images, paid for the meals and I requested for the manager to come to hear our comments. In fairness he did come and having explained my concerns on the dishes, he proceeded to swoop on the plates, snapping them of our table while swearing in German. In summary avoid this establishment, you are being scammed to paying over the top prices for less than edible not fresh items, in addition to have been the rudest owner/manager, who rather than listening or discussing the issue, chose to swear. The flavors were good, and the meat was substantial. The mead was quite unique. The steamed buns were a bit sour, which might not suit everyone's taste. However, they were a good companion to the main course. The service was very friendly. The serving was easy and fun. Eating requires your hands.

I was not satisfied with the service. We were a group of 10 people, and while one person did not order any drinks and another did not order food, the waitress spoke to us twice for several minutes, explaining that they would not accept us next time and how the restaurant normally makes money. This made us feel pressured and negatively affected our overall experience. The food itself was nice, and I am glad I had the chance to try it, but the atmosphere left me feeling uncomfortable. Because of this, I am unlikely to return.

Great Ethiopian food and great group experience. If you're at least two people, I'd recommend to go for the shared plate. For the shared plate, the food is served on big metal plates on top of the traditional injera (Ethiopian sour flatbread). It's plenty, tasty and the price is very reasonable

A lovely restaurant with a pleasant, cozy atmosphere! The food is freshly prepared and cooked, with excellent flavor and a very hygienic environment. My wife and I ordered the vegetarian appetizers in a vegan version. To be on the safe side, we even took the trouble to call ahead and explained how important it was to us that the food be completely vegan. We ordered the meal through a delivery service. After a 60-minute wait, we received it. Unfortunately, there were cheese crumbs in my food. I then called again and pointed out their mistake. The only response was that we should leave the dishes out. No offer of compensation was made. I pointed out that I couldn't eat the meal for that long. Since I have a milk protein allergy and would have liked to replace the dish with a vegan one, the person I spoke to said, "I can't do that" and hung up. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend the restaurant for vegan orders.

We spontaneously stopped by Blue Nile yesterday and were pleasantly surprised. The restaurant is rather inconspicuous on a side street, but we received a very warm welcome. We opted for the three-course menu. The large main course platter alone would have easily filled us up. It was a lot of fun trying so many different dishes! The menu cost just under €35 per person, which I think is fair given the quantity and variety you get. We'll definitely be back 😊

The food was delicious, as always, but the service seemed like it had to be done, but it wasn't done with enthusiasm. To split the bill, we were asked to use our phones to calculate the amount ourselves, and paying by card would have been preferable. We've always been to the other Blue Nile and won't be coming here again! It's a real shame.

Always such a pleasure being here with the super friendly staff and absolutely delicious food! We come as much as we can living about 40 minutes away 😅 their food was my pregnancy craving with my third baby, so always great memories of eating here 💕 I would give them more stars if I could!

The food is great, the service is nice but sometimes disorganized and you often don't get a bill and card payments are often not possible. For the last 3 visits I have not received an invoice and card payment is not possible. Also the reservation was blown once. Waiting times for food are often 45-60 minutes or more. Please work on it. And the prices are too high compared to all other Ethiopians in Munich considering the mediocre service.

I went to Blue Nile with my friends' friends. The service and the employees were incredibly nice and even though it was a small restaurant, it was packed. We had to wait about an hour for the food (explained by the rush, I think) and we were really hungry. Had reserved weeks in advance. Only for 2 hours. When the new guests arrived late, we were almost thrown out. Restaurant is very cramped and it is not barrier-free. It is not clear whether an escape route is possible in the event of a fire. Food or the lamb was ok. Unfortunately, I had extreme stomach pains all night long.

Dear Blue Nile One team, Yesterday I visited your restaurant Blue Nile 1 with my family and we ordered the following dishes: one Doro Alithcha, one Blue Nile Prayer, one bottle of water, three mango and two apple juices. The total bill came to 129 euros. However, we noticed that the prices on your menu on Google Maps are marked significantly lower. This discrepancy surprised and disappointed us as we were told in the restaurant that online prices are always cheaper. However, local prices were higher than expected. I have secured both the bill and screenshots of the online menu as evidence. It would be desirable if the prices were consistent both online and on site to avoid such misunderstandings in the future. The strange thing is that when I spoke to them and said that their online prices were cheaper than if one comes to their restaurant, they replied to me that they don't care about what I saw online. Es war sehr reichlich und schmackhaft - eine Platte für 2 Personen.Nichts deftiges und üppiges aber ich war frog um einige Kilometer zu Fuss danach. Früher ging halt noch die Vorspeisenplatte und danach noch ein Desert....immer wieder gerne !

The restaurant itself is cozy and small, perhaps too narrow for some, but we found it good. Definitely recommended if you want to try something different.

Authentic, Friendly, and Delicious I have been coming to Blue Nile one for the last 16 years, and I can confirm that the quality and taste of food are consistently the same. This is one of my comfort places to go, especially considering the friendly and welcoming staff. I think now we have kind of become friends over the years. The ambiance is also very soothing. So if you are looking for authentic ethiopean experience, Blue nile is the place to go. Thank you to the entire team, your service and comfort is one of the reasons I keep coming here again and again.

Went with a friend and we got the mixed taster platter to share, which offers smaller, shareable portions of an assortment of dishes. The food was incredible, full of flavor and spices, and it was absolutely the right choice to get the sharing platter. We also got a beer called Dju Dju, which was a perfect accompaniment to the food. All this was supplemented by the exemplary service provided by the staff - fast, friendly and engaging. I for sure would come back again, armed with Bargeld, just in case! ;)

The food was tasty, we ordered Blue Nile One menu. Keep this in mind, you eat with your hands and it can cost you to eat too much "Injera" (Ethiopian bread) 😅 Service was great too! The waitress was very kind and friendly with us.

The dishes were flavourful and offered a nice introduction to Ethiopian cuisine. However, we did feel that the pricing was a bit high, especially considering the 35-euro menu did not include a drink. It would be a great improvement if this price could at least cover a basic drink like water, a soft drink, or a beer, which would make the overall experience feel better. More efficiency in service is also needed, you end up waiting long time.

The food is really excellent, it was our first time at One and compared to the main branch it is even more cramped. Maybe they should change that; I think the fact that you can hug the lady at the next table from your own seat says it all. Can you do something about the prices then? It's good, authentic food, you can easily charge €80 for two people.

We always enjoy going to the Blue Nile in Victory Street. The food is always extremely tasty and the atmosphere is simply wonderful - cozy and authentic. We always feel very comfortable there! However, a small suggestion for improvement would be that the service could sometimes be a little faster. Every now and then you have to wait a long time until one of the service ladies comes to the table. Otherwise there is nothing to complain about and the restaurant is highly recommended. We definitely continue to enjoy coming here!
