We went there because of the good reviews. I went to the toilet to order and the order was placed for me. My husband thought he had communicated the number correctly, but the service claimed he had given the wrong number when I got chicken instead of lamb. I found that a bit of a shame, if you've mixed something up then you should be honest about it. The food was delicious, but you still had the feeling of being stared at as if you didn't belong there. Most of the time this happened through other guests in the restaurant.
The staff is otherwise quite friendly but it took a little longer to pay. Card payment was possible.
I haven't seen an open buffet like this for years. Variety, taste, price performance all in one place. I liked it very much, if I lived in Cologne I would definitely come again.
We had a reservation made for breaking the fast. We arrived 26 minutes early. We were asked about our reservation. Then the "nice" lady at reception said that our reservation had been canceled and our seats had been given to other people because we had not arrived 30 minutes before the reservation time. You have to think about this “money-hungry” and profit-hungry behavior. A disgrace for the restaurant industry. I definitely can't recommend this restaurant to those who don't want any nasty surprises. There have been problems with food in the past. Used to be good, now miserable and bad.
The restaurant is mediocre. The prices for main courses are high (€19 each for the main course) and are not that big. The flavors of the food didn't come through that well and in general it was a bit dry and not very spicy. The dips that were served beforehand were delicious. The service was also okay, the waiters seemed hectic and quite reserved.
The Cağ Kebap is heavily advertised and that's why I had to try it. It was sliced very thinly and the portion was therefore really small and dry, but at the same time there was a lot of fat. Too bad, I wouldn't recommend it.
We were there for lunch today. It was delicious and fresh. We were very full thanks to the variety of ingredients. We also thought the prices were reasonable. The homemade iced tea tasted great. We'll be back!
We made a reservation for tonight online and even had it confirmed by phone. Nevertheless, when we arrived we were simply replaced by other guests and not allowed into the restaurant. We did not receive any notification of the cancellation of the reservation, which is extremely annoying and unprofessional.
Particularly annoying because it is Ramadan and breaking the fast is very important to us. The evening was ruined for us, but luckily we were able to get a table at URFA at short notice - and only 10 minutes before breaking the fast. The food there was on time and the service was excellent.
Such treatment as in this restaurant simply cannot happen. Disappointing!
I had dinner there with my wife yesterday and the restaurant was chosen spontaneously without any local knowledge. The service was friendly and accommodating, the food was delicious, although I stuck to Turkish cuisine and my wife to German cuisine. Plus crispy flatbread, there was nothing to complain about. On the contrary, I haven't eaten so well in a long time.
Very nice, polite treatment, food is great anyway, freshly processed salad and side dishes. It's worth it, even if you live in Marl, to go there to eat...
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect grill house!
I'm absolutely thrilled with Urfa Lahmacun! The food is always fresh, perfectly seasoned, and incredibly delicious. The mixed grill plate is a real highlight.
The staff is super friendly and makes you feel at home. The atmosphere is cozy, and the portions are more than ample. This place is definitely good value for money!
If you're looking for true indulgence, you should definitely visit Urfa Lahmacun. I'll definitely be back!
