We went for soup around noon. We were shocked by how rude the waiters were, how disrespectful they were, and how completely devoid of customer satisfaction. I was at the Antep Sofrası restaurant in Dortmund and ordered Iskender – a dish I love and know very well. The menu said "Iskender" in large letters, but underneath it, in illegible font, it stated that it was a type of Adana kebab. I didn't read that when I ordered because, like many guests, I assumed that the name "Iskender" also referred to the well-known Iskender dish. But what was served was something completely different: a type of Adana kofte on bread with tomato sauce and butter – not a classic Iskender. When I pointed out that this was misleading, I received no understanding. Instead, they said, "We've been doing it this way for 20 years." I don't think that's an acceptable response. If the menu says "Iskender," then Iskender should be served—or at least, when ordering, you should explicitly state that it's not the traditional Iskender, but a different dish. I returned the dish because it wasn't cooked thoroughly. It's a shame—I would have preferred more openness and understanding for customers.

We paid 74 euros and got ripped off. Adana had no taste and the buildup rice was mush, it didn't taste like the old one. I wouldn't recommend it and I won't go there again. What a shame.

The restaurant has a Turkish name, the menu is written in Turkish and German, although there are minor errors in the German section (e.g., "Höhnchen" instead of Hühner). But when I order in Turkish from some employees and receive deliberately unfriendly German feedback, even though they understand me perfectly, I get a strange feeling. When I ask further questions in Turkish, I only receive answers in German. I have absolutely no problem speaking only German in the restaurant, but please don't rely on Turkish in your marketing or add Kurdish as well. It feels as if certain employees are making a political statement without even knowing what your stance is. When I come to the restaurant, I also have the potential to recommend the place to others. More customers = more profit I won't be making any recommendations for now. I respect everyone very much, but I also expect a little respect and no unfriendly behavior. We went to this restaurant with our family and left very disappointed. For the high prices, you get very little – neither in the food nor in the service. - The Tavuk Şiş (€19.50) was so spicy that our child couldn't eat it. A warning from the waiter would have been absolutely necessary if children were ordering with us. - The Bonfile (€26) was also for a child, but the bulgur that came with it was spicy, and cold, too. The meat weighed maybe a good 100g – absolutely overpriced for €26. They also served hot peppers next to the children's plate, which was completely inappropriate. - The Kuzu Dürüm (€9.50) was crammed with salad and sour dressing, despite my request for just tomatoes and onions. There was no taste of the meat. - With the Ciğer Dürüm (€9.50) we had exactly the same problem: the same salad as with all the other dishes. The liver pieces were far too dry, half of them inedible. When we asked why everything was so spicy, we were only given the cheeky reply that we should have told them beforehand. As a waiter, you should probably know when two children's plates are ordered. On top of that, the service was terrible: no one came to the table during or after the meal to ask, let alone refill our water. We had to get our own drinks from the fridge. The worst part: hygiene is a foreign concept here. The waiter coughed into his palm several times but continued serving without washing or disinfecting himself. He was wearing a dirty black glove on only one hand – presumably from the morning. An absolute no-go! Additionally, the hygiene in the dining room was negative: some tables were still sticky when we sat down. Honestly, how difficult is it to properly clean a table after every guest? PLEASE get proper disinfectant for surfaces! And please stop wiping from table to table with an obviously dirty rag, generously spreading all the bacteria and germs. That's not just unclean, it's simply disgusting and completely unacceptable in the restaurant industry. We declined the tea – after what we saw in terms of hygiene and what we paid for such poor quality, we had no desire for it. Either we're too demanding or this restaurant simply doesn't live up to the standards it claims with its prices. The only thing that wasn't objectionable was the appetizer with flatbread, cacık, ezme, and cocktail sauce. That's why I'm giving it two stars – otherwise, it would be zero. Conclusion: Anyone who values ​​good food, service, and hygiene should definitely avoid this restaurant. Two stars only because the appetizer was okay; the rest was a huge disappointment.

We had chicken soup and Adana. Soup was good and the broth could have been a bit thicker but the ingredients and taste was good. While, Adana was not that great. The fat ratio is too high to my standards and ofc like most of the places the meat is minced not teared by grinding therefore you could taste the difference. Ambiance is OK.
