Tandir Restaurant köln in Köln

I haven't seen an open buffet like this for years. Variety, taste, price performance all in one place. I liked it very much, if I lived in Cologne I would definitely come again.

We ordered via Lieferando – Saturday evening. Delivery took 1.5 hours. No problem, it's just Saturday evening. As always, Tandir's suppliers can't find our address, run around the area for 20 minutes with the “Thermo” box, and the food arrives lukewarm to cold. Same problem every time. The beyti are very tasty, as is the bulgur rice. However, the fries are an absolute disaster - they smell like old oil, taste absolutely nothing and have the consistency of potholders. I miss the meze, bread and salad every time. I pay €20.50 per portion here, so I expect the full procedure. The delivery service definitely needs work. Other Turkish restaurants do this much better.

Came here for iftar (breaking the fast). Had previously reserved for 4 people. Nice atmosphere, very friendly staff and fast service 👍 The food tasted very tasty...we ordered Beyti, Ali Nazik and Saç Kavurma...and for dessert Künefe... Everything tasted very, very tasty….!!! Highly recommended 👍 Next time we will try the breakfast buffet

Weekend breakfast is really good, keep it up and don't change the atmosphere. We only have difficulties when pouring tea - if you put the pots a little higher, the cups would fill more easily.

While we were sitting at the dining table, the tables kept moving, which was extremely annoying. The rice didn't taste like anything, the lamb skewer wasn't tasty either. The only edible thing was the lentil soup. We should have left it at that. And if that wasn't enough, we discovered a hair in the Beyti court. See image. Unfortunately, the waitress still charged the full price. Absolute no-go!!!!

Very tasty and always a pleasure. We had mixed grill platter and it was very tasty. The soup and dessert Kadayif were also above average. After several visits, we would now recommend the restaurant to anyone without hesitation.

We used to enjoy being here very much, but the service is getting worse and worse. We wanted to give the restaurant another chance, but to no avail. Everyone... And I emphasize all tables got an appetizer, no matter what they ordered. Not us. Of course it's not a given, but it's a shame nonetheless. Drinks came very quickly but without glasses, we had to drink from bottles. Other tables were properly set, but ours wasn't. Service was completely overwhelmed Unfortunately two guests were lost.

Delicious food, well priced. There were two of us and our food didn't come at the same time, we had to wait 5 minutes for the other one. Falafal and minced skewer very tasty. Unfortunately the rice was already cold. Some of the service were very attentive, others less so. First of all there was a kind of thin bread for free, like a flatbread with dip, which was very tasty.

They welcomed me well at night and gave me tea so that I wouldn't be left out in the cold

The chicken meat was like rubber and the wraps were soggy and tasteless, the fries were also very dry.

We were here for lunch with colleagues. Very tasty, pleasant portions and friendly service offered a well-rounded dining experience that I can recommend trying.

Actually no star for the service! had been very bitchy and arrogant to me... They thought I didn't have any money to eat there... I heard words like, this isn't a kebab shop... We went to Tandır restaurant yesterday with 9 people and I can say that, except for lavash and clotted cream, the dishes served before the main menu are not recommended at all. I said a lamb tenderloin, believe me, it's 3 thin pieces of meat and that meat isn't worth even one skewer. I don't need to explain how salty it tastes. The friend next to me ordered sautéed chicken and he was not pleased at all. It was the last time we went to the tandoori.

Everything is perfect. Service and taste are top notch. I especially recommend you to try the kellepaça soup.

By the way, I pay attention to toilets and hand washing areas, 5 stars clean..! For parking, there is a paid parking lot opposite, an average of 2 to 4 Euros is quite good.

The soups were cold!! The waitress was informed that the temperature wasn't right, ... would supposedly pass it on to the kitchen, ... that was it. Then you wonder why the guests don't come back anymore. Sorry, but we easily eat better soups elsewhere.

Second time here and I'm thrilled. They now also have these practical order cubes. So you can call service if you want

I have been in Germany for a long time and with pleasure it is one of the most beautiful places I have come across that suits the Turkish palate. I can say that the meat and grilled meats in the soup and the cooking were great. The dessert we ate with the meal made us feel like we were in Adana. The waiter and staff were extremely hospitable. I say congratulations.

Very mediocre experience. We order a pide and a lamb skewer with salad and rice. After 30 minutes later, many of the guests who had arrived after us had already had their food, the waiter asked if we had already received our food, even though we were sitting in front of empty plates. Interesting question. Apparently our food was forgotten but it took another 20 minutes until our food finally came. The salad was also missing from my dish.

A unique place in the heart of Cologne, the food services and the perfect atmosphere of the place are simply wonderful. Thank you to Tandır Ekin, we will come again.

We were here for brunch today and the selection of different dishes was very extensive. Everything was very presentable and very tasty. The service was very friendly and helpful, all 11 adults and 3 children felt very comfortable. It was a very nice experience to be their guest. My recommendation

I had breakfast in this restaurant today. The food was excellent and very filling. A black tea flat rate is included in the buffet price. The toilets are very clean, but the design is very simple, as is the entire store. I will be happy to come back and can recommend this restaurant without reservation.

The flour product, which is similar to lavaş, is in no way, I didn't like it at all, otherwise there is no alternative in this shop. Hot at first, then like rubber. Flatbread would be a good alternative. But there isn't. The food was acceptable, service was friendly. I won't visit this shop again because of the bread. I don't allow anything to be forced on me that I don't like.

Have eaten there several times. It was always delicious. The starter is awesome. Price-performance ratio was perfectly fine and the service was great. Would love to come back.

Update two years later. We came back and, as expected, we didn't regret it. The “Sürpriz” from the boss was awesome. The service and the quality of the food are really top. Always my pleasure!!! With the best will in the world, I can't understand the bad reviews. Delicious food, super nice and friendly service and reasonable prices too. We would love to come back!!!! A very nice Anatolian restaurant with a very pleasant atmosphere. Not a restaurant for the 'doner kebab' in between, but good, tasty food from the charcoal grill that you should take your time with. Warm welcome and service. We'd love to come back again and again!

Hi, We came for breakfast today. Unfortunately, we were not satisfied and disappointed. 1. We paid 40.30€ for breakfast for 2 adults and 1 child aged 6. 2. It was not hygienic, the staff were filling the plates without gloves 3. There wasn't much variety and some dishes had a stale smell. 4. Supposedly there was clay and stains on the freshly washed dishes. You did not deserve the money we paid, the service was zero and some of the pastries had a stale smell. We will not choose or recommend you if you will no longer welcome us as a customer.

No points!! I had ordered by phone and am very disappointed with what I encountered. Manti tasted very much like lemon and there was too much oil in it, the manti inside was already swimming, and the Kazandibi dessert was extremely burnt and was immediately thrown away and the chicken soup had very little meat in it, very dissatisfied In the future I know that I won't be ordering there anymore!

Delicioso restaurante y buen servicio! Estábamos visitando Colonia desde Inglaterra y encontramos este lugar al azar no lejos de nuestro hotel. Los camareros fueron muy serviciales con nuestro idioma alemán inexistente también, y con la ayuda de Google translate para leer el menú nos las arreglamos bien! Pedimos dos platos principales, ambos consistían en brochetas de cordero, uno era más carne en trozos y el otro era más carne picada pero mezclada con más especias, ambos venían con arroz y ensalada. El plato en el que se servía la red era genial, un lado era un plato y el otro era un plato caliente, lo que significaba que la comida se mantenía caliente durante toda la comida. Teníamos un lado para compartir y dos bebidas, una cerveza y un refresco. La factura llegó a unos 57€ , que nos pareció razonable para la calidad de la comida! El cubo en la mesa era una gran idea para ordenar y pagar, y significaba que era súper fácil ordenar y pagar sin problemas tratando de agitar a alguien. Simplemente lo presionaste cuando estabas listo y se enciende, entonces un camarero viene. ¡Simple! Recomendaría este lugar!

So had breakfast here for the first and last time. For 15.90 euros I would have expected more. Ancient fries, soft cucumbers, the dumplings taste like nothing, you had to look for the cheese in there with a magnifying glass. Simit from yesterday and rolls weren't really fresh either. I'm sorry, it really didn't taste good and it was made with love.

Very very friendly service, 100% great service, very attentive. Food was way too much... The hit was the free starter...a dream. There were three of us and we had a platter for two...including a starter and a dessert...There was so much that we were allowed to take the dessert home with us. Really only recommended!!!

I had a great dining experience at TANDIR Restaurant! Particularly noteworthy are the delicious Tandır bread and the rich breakfast buffet. The freshly baked Tandır bread was truly unique and the breakfast buffet was filled with a variety of fresh and delicious options. Perfect for a morning breakfast. The atmosphere in the restaurant was very cozy and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I can recommend TANDIR to anyone who wants to try it!

I have never experienced such impudence like this anywhere. The two of us came here to have some breakfast. Since I have a lot of trouble eating in restaurants, I wanted to order sucuk with egg to take away. Then I was told it was only available in the buffet, which is why I decided to eat there anyway. I grabbed a plate with some sucuk & egg, as well as some noodles. Unfortunately I was only able to eat three bites of it because I couldn't eat anything afterwards for psychological reasons. When I asked if I could please pack up the rest of the food on my plate because I have difficulty eating indoors among so many people, I was told that wasn't possible and that I should eat slowly. I then had to pay almost €16 for three forks of breakfast and was not allowed to take the rest with me, even though I had paid for it and it ended up in the trash. My friend was then given the soup as a gift, probably to make it up to me somehow. So I left the store hungry and couldn't finish my breakfast. Subterranean service, I would never go there again with so little understanding and accommodation. 👎🏻

Unfortunately I have to withdraw my 5 star rating in all areas from 8 months ago. Unfortunately the buffet is no longer what it was a few months ago. After a long time we were there again for breakfast and were unfortunately disappointed by the very buffet. This is an excellent Turkish restaurant. The decoration is very unique and the seats are very comfortable. There was a live band performing in the evening and the atmosphere was good. The food quality and taste are good, and the presentation is beautiful. The kitchen design and furnishings are very good!
