The live music program of Mr. Aykut and his team was amazing. We had a wonderful Friday evening. Also, if you have the opportunity to listen to delicious food and a nice atmosphere, don't miss it.

Price-performance is not acceptable. Grill plate for €23 doesn't fill you up at all. The taste was ok, nothing special. So never go there again

It was my first time in this location and I was very positively surprised by the atmosphere with live Turkish music - we really liked it. The starters were very tasty, there is nothing to complain about. My main course tried hard, but wasn't entirely convincing, which is why I can't give it five stars. The service could be improved, but overall the price-performance ratio was okay.

First we went there they said the place is full, come back at 10pm and until that time look around. And then they said we have a place but you can only sit until 10pm. The waiter's behavior was also rude. We were there as three Turkish girl as a tourist so we don't know german and even he knows we don't know the language sometimes he kept talking german. And taking order must not be taking so long. Also when it's almost 10 he said you need to go but before that another person who works there told us it's okay to stay. And when it's exactly 10pm the waiter bring the bill and left. How are we supposed to pay? We waited like 10-15 minutes for paying. Also you can't split the bill equally, why is that?

Great Turkish restaurant in Cologne's old town at the Alter Markt. Live music on Saturdays

Food is fine, rest is mediocre: apparently the restaurant has to be full, so couples are simply 'crammed' together, cutlery arrives late, drinks arrive late, price slightly out of proportion to quality and service

We were welcomed as if we were part of the owner's family. Well attended to, they pleased the child who accompanied us and the beer and food were delicious and exactly what we ordered.

Went to a concert and came across this live music bar afterwards. Were served immediately, very polite and courteous. The singer had a great voice and set the mood. The whole store took part, it was a lot of fun. I can definitely recommend it

Paramos aquí para tomar unas cervezas durante los euros en el verano. La plaza estaba llena de aficionados al fútbol y afortunadamente logramos conseguir algunos asientos aquí. Las cervezas tenían un precio razonable de 5 euros y sabían muy bien.

Unlike the name would have one assume, they don't only serve burgers. The beef steaks are also nice, the classic schnitzels and the mushrooms in olive oil were also a delight. If you order different meals it will take a while though, so keep that in mind. The drinks are on the pricey side. Overal a good experience and would certainly recommend.

There were 8 of us there and the singer hit on us in a very rude way because we were supposedly talking too loudly. If he wants to give a concert, he should go to the Live Music Hall and not shut the guests up. The service was also poor and the food was very overpriced. Can't recommend the shop and won't eat there again.

The food was good really nothing to complain about! But the host was terrible, very unfriendly to his cook. Swearing, discriminating and shouting is too bizarre. The cash register was defective, so everything took a little longer, which is understandable. But if customers are also verbally abused when they want to pay with their debit card, this really goes too far. And when other customers don't tip, he shouts: what do you mean, no drinking money!!! Poor colleagues of that man!

Very tasty food and nice service

It's a family restaurant that we entered by chance and felt the warm atmosphere inside. The meals are very delicious and satisfying. We preferred lamb. Prices were generally reasonable. If you talk about the atmosphere, Mr. Mehmet Ali and Ms. Esma will make you feel the Turkish hospitality with their smiling faces when you enter. Since there is live music, it is best to make a reservation if you are coming after a certain time.

There were four of us there and we basically had fun... ate a lot (3 courses) and drank a lot... with the food, it was ok... but nothing more... A little more attention from the waiters would be appropriate here. In some cases drinks were not brought and side dishes were forgotten. The live music and location were great…

Because the food was so praised, it was like everywhere else. There was nothing special, not even in taste. I had these meatballs with rice and a tomato sauce. I don't normally eat the side salad but it was okay. To quote my father, the main thing is that the nutritional value is right. The cellarer was completely overwhelmed with the order. But we were also a large group.

We had an awful experience at Lyly. We had diner on the terrasse and my guest bag (with phone and passport) was stolen by a pickpocket. We immediately asked for the waiter assistance but he basically yelled at me saying it was not his problem and he was too busy. Her colleague was more polite and said they would call the police for us and check on their security camera. The waiter yelled at her too for this and on several other occasions, it really looked like he had a mental disorder... They kept us waiting for 45mn until we found out that they never actually called... We left to go to the closest police station without any word or any support of any kind, just anger words in German from the guy... Cherry on the top, when I paid (230€ for 6 for average Turkish food) I realized they over charged me 12€ for extra service (!!). They tried to take advantage of the situation as we were anxious to find a solution for our friend. I had to argue to get a refund... I travel a lot, I think I rarely saw such bad hosting and rudeness in a restaurant. I would definitely not recommend the place.

A very nice restaurant 2 minutes from the river and the Cathedral. The food is perfect whatever you choose, my recommendation is the steak in mushroom sauce with potatoes and green salad. The staff is very friendly and you won't have to wait long for your meal. Any recommendation for this restaurant which is the only one with cushions on the chairs and you will be comfortable!

Contrary to what was previously mentioned, good food for a competitive price. We tried 2 schnitzels, the Wiener and the one with mushroom sauce. Both were delicious with plenty of fries and vegetables. In our opinion, highly recommended

For an evening with musical accompaniment it's actually quite ok, but unfortunately the food is not recommended - we're just talking about very simple dishes here... By the way, the starters have absolutely nothing to do with the originals from Turkey, some of them were unfortunately inedible...

The drink prices have taken off

We enjoyed a Turkish evening and can only report positively about the live music. The facilities are actually nice, but unfortunately very neglected/unkempt. The lady (probably the boss) didn't care. The food (meatballs) was very hard, the rice was also too grainy and hard, must have been left in the pot for a long time. Dede salad just as boring. Everything was simply slapped onto the plate very carelessly, for a lot of money. If you do it again, then it's better to eat somewhere else first!

I recently visited the Lyly restaurant at the Alter Markt in Cologne and was amazed by the fantastic live music and the beautiful ambience. The food was delicious and the service excellent. It was an unforgettable evening and I can highly recommend this restaurant. My own experience at the Lyly restaurant was very positive. The atmosphere created by the live music and the friendly staff made my visit a real highlight. A visit to the Lyly restaurant is definitely worth it and exceeds all expectations and leaves nothing to be desired!

The night we spent at Club Lyly was truly amazing. The food was great, and the restaurant's management and service were extremely customer-oriented. The quality of live music was outstanding. I would especially like to express my special thanks to Aykut Sahin. He gave a terrific performance and was definitely a center of attraction for many restaurant guests. I definitely recommend both the restaurant, the music and especially the artist Aykut Sahin.

We left the place immediately due to Mr. Aykut's rude behavior that offended people. Disappointment for business. I do not recommend.

We went with great enthusiasm and left with even greater disappointment, and the behavior of Mr. Aykut that caused this was extremely surprising. As a group that went to live music, naturally we were there to have fun. It is very wrong for him to blame his inability to adapt and concentrate on the stage to us, the audience. It was interesting that he was talking bad at our table where we were chatting with our friends, asking us to request songs, but not singing the songs, or even reading only a few bunches of all the songs, drinking raki and forgetting to perform on stage. The orchestra was very disturbing. I definitely do not recommend it.

Mr. Aykut is definitely an incredibly disrespectful gentleman. Enough to tell customers who came to have fun to be quiet... I strongly recommend that the business reconsider its relationship with this employee. Otherwise, Mr. Aykut's disrespect is very humiliating for the business.

Went there spontaneously with two friends on a day trip to Cologne. Definitely recommended, the food was very tasty and we didn't have to wait long for it. The atmosphere is very cozy and the service was very friendly. The prices are reasonable despite the good location. We will definitely keep this in mind and it is highly recommended.

Good treatment and good food, plus with the language they make an effort to help you choose food, I will definitely recommend it again. I had dinner at LyLy with the family. I really wanted to eat Turkish and was looking forward to the real Turkish cuisine. But unfortunately I'm disappointed, rather more German cuisine lamb skewers, rice and salad wasn't as real as we know it from Turkish gastronomy. Second time we ordered drinks and didn't get them. Service could be better. In the north, Turkish restaurateurs try harder and are extremely friendly and attentive.

Sorry but it has worn off... Service is nice and friendly as always but I can't get enough of it. The portions are getting smaller and the noodles are drowned in sauce. The shop is covered in dust, which is of course noticeable with extremely black furniture. Glue the tables... A few years ago we went there at least three times a month, but now we were very disappointed.

We were spontaneous today and got a spot without any problems. The food was delicious and it didn't take long. The price is really fair and the service is very attentive and friendly. We had a good meal there and would love to come back when we are in Cologne.

Great place within walking distance of Cologne Cathedral. I promised to write a review, which was some time ago. Actually I have to write two reviews, one as a mother with children and one as part of a large group. I give Late Afternoon with Children an average and honest 4 stars. No children's meals on the menu and a relatively dark atmosphere. We ate schnitzel, pizza and salad... everyone was full and no one left unsatisfied. The assessment looks completely different as part of the annual Christmas party in the evening. The atmosphere here is right, the house dishes (40-46 and 90-93) are terrific and the boss is a wonderful person who is a pleasure to listen to. Conclusion: you can never please everyone all the time, but you don't have to.

Ein gelungener Abend im LyLy, schaut euch die Fotos an, das Essen war hervorragend drei mal Steaks medium gegrillt. Perfekt auf den Punkt. Das Steak mit dem Grillgemüse gab es zweimal mit den Pommes einmal wie im Original der Karte. Das um bestellen der Pommes zu Grillgemüse war kein Problem und es wurden keine weiteren Kosten dafür berechnet. Dies ist äußerst selten, herzlichen Dank dafür. Das Service Personal war sehr aufmerksam. Beim nächsten Köln Besuch besuchen wir euch wieder.

Food is overpriced. €9 for a bottle of water available for €1 in grocery (I even googled to double check it). The waitress pretends to do not understand what is a tap water even when it was told in German. I’m disappointed.

Leider kann ich es selbst nicht weiterempfehlen. Essen geschmacklich 3,5 Sterne. Preis gegenüber den Portionen zu teuer. Denke da wird es genug Alternativen geben.

Der Burger 🍔 war sehr lecker 😋 und frisch zubereitet das Personal sehr freundlich 😊 nur 1⃣ Chili 🌶 Cheese Burger war bestellt und kaum bis nicht scharf gewesen 😔. Geschmack war aber trotzdem super daumen hoch. Alles Behinderten gerecht Toilette 🚽 leider nicht kontrolliert da nicht musste. Gruß aus dem Bergischen. Greet from germany near cologne.

4 Personen kann ich allein Essen amk. Mit der Bedienung red ich nicht mehr. Der hat mich angelogen. Ich fetz mir jz ein Döner der macht zumindest satt.

Würden die Gerichte 30% weniger kosten, würden sicher 4 Sterne ok seien. Leider reicht das bei tief in Bratöl schwimmenden Hähnchenbrocken mit einer Microportion Reis und sehr trockenem Fleisch auf dem Grillteller nicht für mehr als 3 Sterne, auch angesichts einer Rechnung von über 50€ für beides incl. zwei mal Wasser.

Ich habe nichts erwartet und den besten Grillteller meines Lebens bekommen! Das Kotelett war ein Träumchen! Service und Ambiente top!!

Wir hatten das Schnitzel mit Champignon - Rahm. Die Soße, Pommes und Salat waren lecker. Das Schnitzel war grauenvoll. Paniertes Pressfleisch aus der Verpackung. Dafür über 18€. Sehr frech !! Getränke musste man sich die ganze Zeit selbst erarbeiten, kein guter Service .

Putensteak mit Kräuterbutter, Rosmarinkartoffeln und Salat, Cheeseburger, Essen war Top! Personal sehr freundlich. Sehr schöne Lage, in der Nähe von allen Sehenswürdigkeiten.

Das Essen war leider unterirdisch. Für knapp 20€ ein „Burger“ mit etwas Kartoffelecken und Salat. Der Burger war ein weiches Brötchen mit etwas Fleisch und Soße. -Schlecht Die Kartoffelecken waren zu lange in der Fritteuse. -Schlecht Salat hatte kein Biss und das Dressing war sehr säuerlich. -Schlecht Die Bedienung war unhöflich und hat sehr wenig Deutsch verstanden. 2x wurde mit Karte bezahlt und 1x mit Bargeld und es gab kein Rückgeld zurück Erst als man sie darauf aufmerksam gemacht hat. Als wir es angesprochen haben, dass es uns nicht gefallen und geschmeckt hat gab es von der Bedienung keinerlei Reaktion. -Schlecht Anders gesagt Nein danke es gibt genug andere Möglichkeiten um zu Speisen und zu Trinken

Es war zu voll. Die Bedienung zu beschäftigt und insgesamt sehr ungemütlich.

Ich kann mich nicht erinnern, wann ich mir die Mühe gemacht habe, eine negative Bewertung abzugeben. Missverständnisse können immer auftreten und zu Verspätungen kann es natürlich auch kommen, entscheindnd dabei ist aber der Ton miteinander. Ich war lange genug Kellnerin und weiß, wie stressig der Umgang mit Gästen sein kann. Wir haben den Geburstag meiner Freundin feiern wollen. Als wir unser Bedauern ausgesprochen haben, dass die Sängerin sich um einige Stunden verspätet, hat der Kellner uns als nette Geste ein Getränk aufs Haus angeboten. Haben wir letztendlich nicht bekommen, was natürl. kein Problem gewesen wäre, wenn die Sängerin während ihres Auftritts meine Freundin nicht versucht hätte, vor allen bloßzustellen, nur weil sie ehrlich ihre Meinung kundgetan hat, nachdem sie darauf angesprochen wurde, wieso sie nicht mitmache. Ihre Art sich zu entschuldigen ist sehr von oben herab, während ihrer Entschuldigung erwartet sie unmittelbar Empathie von der Gegenseite. Wir haben wirklich nichts erwartet, man hat uns bewusst falsch verstanden und vor allen ins Lächerliche gezogen. Sehr schade!

Gitmeden önce sahne alan kişiyi sorun, Selen hanımsa asla tavsiye etmiyorum 🙅‍♀️ Saat 8:30dan itibaren live müzik olacağı söylendi fakat sözde sanatçı Selen hanım 22:45de mekana teşrif ettiler. Sakin sakin içkisini yudumladıktan sonra sahneye lütfettiler. 4 şarkı sonrasında yarım ağız kusura bakmayın dedi ve devam etti. Garsonlardan hesap istememize rağmen oturun dendi. Doğum günümü mahfettiği için doğal olarak moralimiz bozuldu ve şarkılara eşlik etmedik. Bunun üzerine mikrofonla tepeden konuşarak birebir benimle tartışmaya girdi. Ben neden negatif bir şekilde oturuyormuşum, sözde sadece yarım saatcik geç kalmışmış. Hiç kimse benimle bu şekilde küçük düşürmek amacıyla konuşamaz bunu denerse de cevabını alır. Lyly’ye zaten yemek için değil canlı müzik için gidilirdi ama onu da beceremediler ❌
