I went to Arizona Steak today. My steak was totally over salted and I couldn't finish it. When the waiter came and asked if everything was OK, I replied: “No, my steak is way too salty”. The waiter's answer was: "OK" and he didn't do anything else, just printed out the bill as normal. Very unfriendly, no apology, no accommodation. Very disappointing!

Unfortunately, I was also there on New Year's Eve and can fully understand the bad recession. There were two of us there and we were then seated at a table with another couple. The overwhelmed usher seated two different couples at each table of four, who had also arrived at different times. He thought he was so great that he asked several times how great his idea was. The idea wasn't great, it was just a money-making scheme. Logically, we were then allowed to watch the other couple eat before our food came. If I reserve a table for two people, I want to sit at a table with two people and not with strangers. The next joke was the prices. Instead of taking the regular card, they had the next great idea. The steak was €5 more expensive that evening than usual. A very poorly formatted card was printed out especially for New Year's Eve. The drinks were, of course, outrageously expensive. The food was ok, but the weight of the steak was probably just a rough guide. You then had to go forward to pay. There was no service that evening. Due to all the circumstances, there was of course no tip, which the woman at the cash register didn't understand. I then pointed out to her that she could see the outrageous price increase as a tip...

Absolutely recommended, very nice service, great food. Parking spaces available and hiking trails directly behind the restaurant

A bit outdated. Meat was great grilled. The service was nice and attentive. More for nostalgics who still know the Blockhouse from its glory days. But I recommend Jim Block Burger, everything is just right.
