Ser delicious 😋 food. Service could be a little friendlier.

Drinks and food were top. All colleagues were very satisfied. The service was also competent and very friendly.

We stay in this beautiful block house several times a month. The service is extremely friendly, even when it is very busy, you are always served quickly, courteously and very friendly. The food is also highly recommended, always fresh and very good. Recently we were there with our little grandchildren, they were given something to paint, at the end a small gift and of course a delicious meal. Very child-friendly staff, great service, very good quality steaks, fresh salads and much more. My favorite restaurant in Hamburg for years. Thank you for the great service and friendliness. We always enjoy coming here.

Very pleasant atmosphere in an old building, for me the best Block House location.

We reserved a table at this restaurant (because I can't call it a restaurant). When we arrived it turned out that no one cared (ridiculous boss). We waited 20 minutes to go in just because my son invited us there. After entering the walled compound. It was even worse. I ordered a salad and a steak with potatoes. The potato was black inside. Rubber steak. Lettuce laughs. Iceberg lettuce has turned brown.

Unfortunately, I was also there on New Year's Eve and can fully understand the bad recession. There were two of us there and we were then seated at a table with another couple. The overwhelmed usher seated two different couples at each table of four, who had also arrived at different times. He thought he was so great that he asked several times how great his idea was. The idea wasn't great, it was just a money-making scheme. Logically, we were then allowed to watch the other couple eat before our food came. If I reserve a table for two people, I want to sit at a table with two people and not with strangers. The next joke was the prices. Instead of taking the regular card, they had the next great idea. The steak was €5 more expensive that evening than usual. A very poorly formatted card was printed out especially for New Year's Eve. The drinks were, of course, outrageously expensive. The food was ok, but the weight of the steak was probably just a rough guide. You then had to go forward to pay. There was no service that evening. Due to all the circumstances, there was of course no tip, which the woman at the cash register didn't understand. I then pointed out to her that she could see the outrageous price increase as a tip...

Lovely place with something delicious for everyone and amazing staff!

A bit outdated. Meat was great grilled. The service was nice and attentive. More for nostalgics who still know the Blockhouse from its glory days. But I recommend Jim Block Burger, everything is just right.

Nice atmosphere, the food was okay but it could be better. Price/performance doesn't fit.

We've been coming here for 6 years and the food tastes great! We receive very friendly service. The price-performance ratio is great and we always go home satisfied.
