Wir sind eher zufällig auf der Durchreise auf dieses Restaurant gestoßen.
Die Gastgeber sind herzlich, das Ambiente modern, reduziert und gleichzeitig gemütlich, relaxt und angenehm. Man hat einen wundervollen Blick aufs Wasser von allen Tischen. Der Service war sehr professionell und zugewandt und das servierte Essen war absolut fantastisch: frisch, wundervoll „komponiert“, geschmacklich voller Aromen und perfekt zubereitet. Wir hatten Vorspeisen und Hauptspeisen, die allesamt ein Genuss waren. Vielen Dank. Wenn es uns mal wieder nach Kiel verschlägt kommen wir definitiv wieder.
The food was excellent but for our taste it was sometimes a bit random. Very nice service and interesting wine accompaniment, sometimes the explanations were a bit brief.
Service and ambience are very good.
We had asparagus, salmon, potatoes and hollandaise sauce from the daily menu.

- check whether the delicious sticks are really cooked but still have enough bite using a cooking test. To do this, pierce the end of an asparagus spear with a fork or knife. If the vegetable is soft in this thickest part but still offers some resistance, it is done -
The asparagus we were served was almost raw, with a bite similar to a raw carrot. Very good reaction from the service, taking back the food and making a second attempt for the kitchen. Unfortunately the result isn't much better. The service response was excellent again, the food complained about was not charged for.
Other dishes such as steak or salmon and side dishes were top. Unfortunately, it is now normal that a restaurant without a Michelin star no longer cooks its own hollandaise sauce and relies on convenience products.
These finished products have nothing in common with hollandaise sauce (butter, egg yolk and spices). It's a shame that there is no labeling requirement for it.
The atmosphere is Nordic, rustic, cozy.
Service is very nice and warm, attentive and authentic.
The Labskaus was very tasty. The starter of potato pancakes with salmon was very rich.
The smoked pork was juicy and not too salty. The country house burger was well fried.
Price/performance is reasonable.
Dogs are welcome and are given water
Toilet clean.
Conclusion: Very happy again 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
The food was again very tasty.
Asparagus well cooked, fried fish delicious. The fried potatoes were too greasy and we had to wait longer for the beer than for the cocktails. Service was nice/authentic. Towel paper was missing from the men's toilet. We would only give 4 stars today, but we'll leave it at that in the hope that the two points will be improved on the next visit. 😉
We visited the restaurant in the evening and had a beautiful outdoor seating area right on the Trave River, overlooking the former salt warehouse. The baked potatoes with their delicious, varied toppings were delicious. You can also choose your own toppings if you like.
The ambiance was very nice right on the Trave River, even if the seating is quite cramped.
What we particularly remember, however, is the super friendly and attentive staff. Thank you ♡
Always a good decision! I recommend the "funny Bosniak".

As always, very tasty food, fresh and regional, including old Holstein recipes. Non-Holsteiners will certainly be full and satisfied 😉
Service friendly as always. We were able to take matjes with us sealed. 👍🏻
A truly lovely ambiance, with very friendly and attentive service. We felt very comfortable. However, the food wasn't particularly good – at least I wouldn't order the steaks here again. They were completely charred on the outside and barely edible. Including the large bone, they were also very expensive. The fries were served with salad mayo and were rather mediocre. According to my companion, the fish was considerably better. It's probably best to know in advance what you're ordering here, or better yet, what not to order.
Very tasty and fresh food, everything went very quickly. Unfortunately the service is lacking. The menus were simply placed on the table without eye contact. Then we wanted a menu for a dessert, unfortunately no one came to order.
