My absolute favorite restaurant in Kiel. Upscale and diverse cuisine/wine at reasonable prices. You can really tell from the staff that they are professionals and enjoy their job - neither of which can be taken for granted.

I can't give a star for the food. None of the food was seasoned. Venison goulash with totally wrong sauce. Red cabbage totally sour and overcooked. Onion soup with champions didn't taste like onions. Even in prison there is better food. He'll never see me again.

Just take a little break with tee time at James. Yes, it's not cheap, but what you get is palate orgasms. Totally delicious and not too little either. And then tea until you drop. You don't do it that often because of the cost, but you enjoy it when you do. We'll be back. Thank you for the lovely afternoon including the reading.

Super tasty baked potato, the service and the ambience were extremely good, highly recommended

Nice place on the city centre walkaway. Arrived one hour before closing time. Service wasn't pleasant, to say the least. We were pressed to decide yet didn't receive a clear explanation on the options, although it was clear we are turist who doesn't speak German. Ordered onion and tomato soup that were good. Ordered 3 steaks plate medium rare that came medium well. When we wanted to order dessert, we were told the kitchen was closed. I would expect the weiter to ask us in advance if we wish for desert before closing the kitchen. Guess it all could have been different if the service was better

Always happy to be there and never disappointed. Reservations are mandatory. Otherwise no chance. That says it all.

Unfortunately, we didn't even get to eat. We sat outside this afternoon and waited about 5 minutes. It can sometimes happen that you don't notice inside that guests have sat outside. I then went in and asked if there was also service outside or if Roman should order in here. Answer - I'll come to you soon. After that we have another 10 Waited minutes - unfortunately no one came.

Really bad kebab, never seen a shop where the bread is made in the microwave. There is also extra little and unfinished meat.

Great restaurant with rustic food. You will definitely feel full and it tasted very good too. In summer you can sit outside in the beer garden, but it's also very cozy inside. The staff was very friendly and quick. I have nothing to complain about.

Unfortunately temporarily closed, despite demand. Tenant prefers to wait until the place gets packed and guests are turned away....We don't need you!

The ambience is visually very nice, but the volume of the people talking is unfortunately very loud. The food was good and tasty, but my Wiener Schnitzel, which is actually veal, tasted the same (consistency and taste) as my brother's Rustic Pork Schnitzel. Which then doesn't justify the expensive price of the Wiener Schnitzel or even make it worth it. The Wiener Schnitzel also had French fries which were OK, but there was no dip, mayonnaise or ketchup. The service was very friendly.

We had a wonderful time in this really beautiful hotel. Great room with a great view. Very nice swimming pool with a great sauna. In the evening we had an excellent dinner. Drinks and dessert were also delicious. Beautiful all around. We were able to relax well and would love to come back. Thank you for the lovely stay and great service.

Incredibly delicious burgers with a fine selection of different US beers. In addition to the classics, the changing season menu offers real variety! The nice host/restaurateur, with attention to detail, invites you to come back!!! Unfortunately I didn't take any pictures, but the Bossburger and the Ham&Egg Burger (with schnitzel were great!
