We sat outside as requested, but were unfortunately somewhat forgotten by the service, even though there were enough service staff there (we also reported back at the end). Otherwise, the service was very friendly, the food was very good and the prices were reasonable. The portion size was also enough to fill a 16-year-old meat-loving teenager. 😉 We had Wiener Schnitzel and Labskaus. and both were excellent.

Beautiful restaurant with excellent cuisine. Service extremely friendly. Prices on a slightly higher level but absolutely okay for the quality. We'll be back. Very attentive: It was my wife's birthday and she was surprised with a sweet treat. Top!

A day later, I'm still extremely happy that I reserved a table here for my girlfriend and I. The evening was simply great in terms of ambience, service and food! The new employee was trained wonderfully by her colleague. Please be sure to keep the beer selection (Störtebeker). I was pleasantly surprised by this, great selection. The tables are comfortable and I can recommend the rice pudding. Nice idea for dessert. We will definitely come back when we go to Travemünde.

We were there for my brother's birthday and it was wonderful! He even got a little surprise that made him feel very flattered :) The food was also wonderful and the service was great! The small children were also taken into consideration and provided with paper and pen.

We 💜 it's delicious and come back every year on autumn vacation. The quality of the food is very good, the atmosphere is upscale, but totally relaxed and warm. Unreserved recommendation from the bottom of my heart! However, table reservations are recommended! Keep it up 🥰

Not recommended. The salad consisted only of lettuce leaves and two tiny slices of cucumber and roots. The jacket potatoes didn't taste like jacket potatoes, they tasted like nothing. Salt was also missing. The price-performance ratio was very poor. There is also no guest WiFi. The waitresses were unfriendly. As I was hesitantly looking around for a place, someone immediately barked at me: "Do you want to have a table for 4 as a single person?" That wasn't my intention at all. I was just looking around. There are much better and more professional restaurants in Travemünde!

We were in Travemünde in spring and were lucky to get a seat in the restaurant. There is a relaxed and cozy atmosphere on site. The staff is attentive, the food was delicious, especially the homemade iced tea. We can only recommend it as a family.

We came to KÖSTLICH when Sascha still had the little shop at the train station and have become regular customers ever since. On Sunday we wanted to eat here again and only after sitting down did we see that the menu had been extremely changed. There were no longer any pulled pork burgers, no Danish fries, etc. We always thought it was great here because it wasn't the standard Baltic Sea restaurant with fish and schnitzel, but also had unusual dishes that were also homemade. They were gone now - well, that's how it is. We got up and went to the slightly taller lady with glasses who was at the reception and said kindly that the menu had changed quite a bit. Already then she looked at us strangely and said: "Yes, and?" I replied that we have been regular customers for years and it is a shame that the dishes in question are no longer on the menu. Then she said: "Well, that was a long time ago and we have to keep up with the times." - and with a disparaging look. That was an absolute disgrace. If a regular customer is in front of you, you should respond to them from a guest relations perspective and not treat them so disrespectfully. We have been leaving money there regularly for years and now the flower is telling us that we are old-fashioned and not keeping up with the times. Now let's be honest: sour meat, labskaus and schnitzel with anchovies. Where is that please keep up with the times? This is the same stuff you get in all the other restaurants. The unique selling point is gone. And it's okay if you cater to older customers who don't like pulled pork. But why do you have to talk to customers like that? The lady should really consider whether she has the right job. It gives the feeling that you are in a chic upper-class restaurant and have just insulted the Michelin star chef. No offense intended, but no, it's simply a Baltic Sea restaurant where normal tourists eat. If I were you, I would have expressed my regret and said that unfortunately the menu has now been changed and that it would be nice if we could still come by. No, you immediately get the feeling that you are unwanted and that you never need to come back. And yes, congratulations: you did that. Two regular customers less!

Hello from Emden It was a great experience dining with you... great atmosphere and very tasty food. The service was very, very nice and accommodating... The atmosphere was incredibly cozy and had a lovely romantic charm, perfect for a relaxing evening. I ordered the halibut and requested a side dish change, which they were happy to accommodate, serving the new side separately. The fish was perfectly cooked, and the sauce was wonderfully flavorful. The pan-fried potatoes were tasty, though I wish they had been a bit warmer. My husband ordered a type of Wiener schnitzel, which was well-seasoned and came in a generous portion. The waitress was super friendly, though there was a slight nudge to get us to order dessert. All in all, it was a really nice dining experience with great food, a cozy setting, and wonderful beachside views.

We ate there at the start and end of our vacation. The waiter was the same personable and friendly young lady both times. She seemed to be still in training, but she made the service really professional and pleasantly personable (please keep it that way). In general, a lot of value is still placed on service, which is becoming increasingly rare today. The menu is well put together and not overloaded. The dishes are delicious and well prepared. So the price is top. Many thanks to the entire team.

You can tell that this young lady is passionate about her job. She was also very amusing and humorous. We would love to come back just because of this great service! Zeer vriendelijke ontvangst door Marieke en Sacha (die zich ook even voorstellen). Mooie, frisse zaak met uitzicht op de Geibelplatz. Voor het diner kozen we als voorgerecht voor de salade met geitenkaas (om te delen), het hoofdgerecht werd zalm met gegrilde groenten en als dessert de combi van nagerechten (ook gedeeld). We hebben héérlijk gegeten (wat een kookkunst!) en waren aangenaam verrast door de enthousiaste bediening. Dit restaurant kunnen we van harte aanraden! Ook een heel goede prijs/kwaliteitverhouding.

From the outside, Delicious looks completely normal at first. The terrace is a bit boring compared to the restaurant. But as soon as we entered the restaurant we were immediately impressed. The entire restaurant is lovingly furnished and decorated. At every corner you can discover loving details and linger comfortably. The waitress introduces herself by name, which we haven't had for a long time. We were also offered water directly for the dogs. So the food. What can I say, we were completely satisfied. The starter, main course and dessert left nothing to be desired. The Stak, the burger and also the fish were great. At the end there was also a little gift from the house for our birthday child ;). We were very satisfied and would like to come back.

I ordered a hamburger. It was undercooked and very pink and raw inside. The patty was very big too, so i struggled to eat it like a hamburger as everything fell off.

So today we were (unfortunately) the first time at Klecks and I have to say it was great and the name says it all because the food was really DELICIOUS🫶🫶. We had Matje's housewife style with fried potatoes and I had a steak with fried potatoes, I requested it medium rare and it was cooked to perfection, the bratzer made from jacket potatoes freshly fried with bacon and onions. The service was also perfect 👍 our table server was called Franziska and you could tell when we greeted her at the table SHE LOVES her strenuous job, gave us refreshing towels for our hands 👍 I've never received them anywhere before 🫶 all in all it was a great experience for us thanks to such hosts wedding anniversary evening THANK YOU TO THE ENTIRE KÖSTLICHT TEAM Kind regards Jörg and Gabi

The name fits very well. It was delicious. We liked that the tables weren't so crowded. Nice, comfortable furnishings and chairs you can sit on. As I said, the food was delicious and plentiful. Nice, friendly service, you are called by your first name, the table I reserved had my first name on it. Unfortunately we couldn't try the good looking desserts anymore as we were full.

Hier stimmt die Preis Leistung nicht. Hatten Lachstatar vom geräucherten Lachs mit Garnelen. Garnelen waren Mini u geschmacklos einfach in der Pfanne geschwenkt u der Preis wäre für frischen Lachs ok aber nicht für geräucherten. 27€. Zum Hauptgang frischer Lachs. Dieser war geschmacklich leider nichtsagend. Auf unsere Getränke mussten wir 20 Minuten warten. Schade, meist passen die Empfehlungen bei tripadvisor.

After waiting for half an hour, we were able to order our drinks. We would have preferred to leave, but since the reviews praised the food so much, we stayed. The food was ok, but very small portion. I didn't get a second drink either. The service (one person for 10 tables) was tried, but a bit overloaded. That's why I won't visit this place again.

I don't understand some of the reviews here not. Either we had a bad day yesterday or something had changed. The service was nice but hopelessly overwhelmed. It took 25 minutes until we could order our drinks. It took another 10 minutes for the drinks to arrive. Very small portions. Two herrings with a handful of fried potatoes. The food was O.K., but not the quantity the price.

We would have liked to eat there more often during our vacation. A very small shop with super friendly service and the food is really great. So if you're in Travemünde, you have to eat there. But be sure to reserve. We were back in 2024. The restaurant has moved and become a lot bigger. But the kitchen is great, as always. We'll be back.

We have known the Klecks for many years, when it had not yet moved to the Atlantic Hotel, but was located upstairs at the train station. The food is still as the name suggests: delicious. However, we couldn't enjoy it last visit, we couldn't even order. Our table was booked for 7 p.m. After we arrived, many young women hurried around us, but they only said - very friendly - that we would be taken care of immediately. The colleague in charge saw us, but left us standing at the entrance for 5 minutes and cleared tables instead. Once we had our table, it took 10 minutes until we had menus. Then nothing happened. What isn't described entirely correctly: the one employee who had to look after 8 full tables did what she could, but after she couldn't take our order after another 20 minutes, we left. It is impossible to say how long it would have taken for the food to arrive. In our corner alone, 20 people must have come almost at the same time. A pity. Delicious doesn't have enough employees. Instead of drawing the conclusion that fewer reservations should be accepted so that guests can be taken care of, the guest room is filled to capacity. This doesn't mean more sales are made, because if everyone has to wait 30 minutes for their order, that doesn't bring in any sales. Management could also try to “debalize” the orders. We know this from other restaurants. But if half the restaurant takes reservations for a specific time, there's no hope. Frustration for everyone: the service and the kitchen can't keep up, and the guests don't get anything to eat - at least not in a reasonable time. We will still go there again, but definitely not in high season.

Very nice courteous staff. Have been here for dinner several times now. Consistently delicious dishes. The waiting time for the food was a bit borderline at 45 minutes, but in this case this doesn't lead to a downgrade because everything else was great. Table reservations are recommended as it is always very busy.

Were on vacation in Travemünde, the food was super delicious. The only thing we complain about is that we left 80 euros with a tip. But we would have liked to have had the mayonnaise that we ordered and paid for for the fries. But I still give it 5 stars because there was a lot to do for the service employee. ☺️

We had a spontaneous dinner here. To eat: We had the fried fish and the surf and turf. I loved the fried fish with fried potatoes, you can't complain about the taste or quantity. It is a small, fine and very nice restaurant. Our waitress immediately introduced herself in a friendly manner as Sabine. We ate a wide variety of things and Sabine also listened to special requests. They asked if everything was good and that was it. Yes, the price is a little higher, but the quality easily allows for that. The lemon mascarpone is highly recommended! Everything was great, the service was super nice, we were sitting outside and suddenly a huge storm came, it was crazy. Had to flee indoors. We wanted to redo the food, but everything was really top notch, even though the water was running through the doors, work continued. The food was great and I highly recommended the burger.

The lady at reception probably didn't learn her job. I won't let myself be treated like that. Thanks but no. The shop was relatively empty, with a maximum of three tables occupied. We stood at the Hollywood barrier posts and waited to be invited in. One (blonde lady, stronger build) saw us, walked past us without a word and stood next to a colleague. She then came back and asked in all seriousness “how can I help?” Yes, I have a flat tire and need the ADAC… Of course I didn’t say that. Instead I said we would like to eat something. Her answer: “I have to see if anything is free.” Okay, then take a look. I think 95% of the tables are free, but well, maybe something is reserved. She said we should follow her. Okay, Ms. First Lieutenant. On the way to the table we said that we had to move on soon and if a table was reserved, we wouldn't occupy it for long. We meant well. Then she just said snidely, “This isn’t a fast food restaurant. It might take a while here!” One too many, I looked at my friend and we agreed we wouldn’t eat here. If you want to be chic, you need stylish employees...

Two days after arriving in Travemünde we visited "das delicious" and found ourselves in the new and larger restaurant that we didn't know yet. The last time 3 years ago it was still very small in another place. Even back then we were impressed by the food, ambience and staff. Now Sascha and Franziska (boss and boss) have gone one better. I'll keep it short: if you want to spend a nice evening in a cozy restaurant with a special charm and attentive and very friendly staff, you can't miss this restaurant. We can reassure anyone who thinks that food is what matters. The name of the restaurant says it all here. The only thing that makes me personally a little sad: the pulled pork burger is no longer available. However, there are plenty of DELICIOUS alternatives available. You are simply great 👍. So etwas Positives erlebt man wirklich nur noch selten. Wir haben spontan am Abend bei einem Stopover vor der Fähre nach Malmö hier gegessen. Ein absolut herzlicher Empfang, die Kellnerin nett, persönlich und super freundlich Feuchte Tücher für die Hände wurden gereicht und man fühlte sich wirklich Willkommen, was auch genau so artikuliert wurde. Dann das Essen. Einmal Matjes (ohne Zwiebeln bestellt) und direkt die Rückfrage aus der Küche ob eine Unverträglichkeit besteht da die dazu gereichte und hausgemachte Soße ebenfalls Zwiebeln enthält. Perfekte Reaktion aber zum Glück keine Unverträglichkeiten. Diese Soße, sowie die Bernaise zum Steak waren im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes zum "Reinsetzen". Das habe ich zuletzt vor über 30 Jahren in einem Steakhaus in der Nähe von Köln erlebt. Und dann die Bratkartoffeln! Die muss man als Koch schon können. Super Bräune und Knusprigkeit mit Speck wohl dosiert und lecker ausgewogen gewürzt! Leider konnten wir nicht länger bleiben da wir die Fähre erreichen mussten. Danke an Nele und das gesamte Team aus Düsseldorf.

Ambience very nice and service very friendly. We were there at 3, which is why it was quite empty. Drinks were good, the limes maybe a little sweet, but overall good. The dishes were 2 burgers, 2 fried fish and 1 schnitzel. Schnitzel and fried fish were good, burgers and fried potatoes were outstanding. The only drawbacks were that no ketchup was served with the fries, only upon request, and the manageable amount of remulade for the fried fish. The price was very reasonable at just under 140, but the portions were also large and the restaurant is also in the upper quality and price range. Perfect dining for a servant for two.
