After a doctor's appointment, we spontaneously went to the breakfast buffet at the Grenadine. The food was delicious, the waitress very friendly, and the atmosphere very cozy. Unfortunately, we didn't arrive until 11:30 a.m., and the buffet is only open until 12:00 p.m. We were aware of this, and the staff reminded us again. We were brought coffee and scrambled eggs to our table and were able to fill our first plates in peace. At 11:50 a.m., we were told that the buffet would be dismantled shortly, and if I wanted anything else to eat, I could get it right away. When I went to fill my plate again at 11:55 a.m., part of the buffet had already been dismantled, and a lady was still clearing the buffet. We were the last breakfast guests, and the buffet tables weren't being used for anything else until about 1:00 p.m. Therefore, it wasn't clear to us why they started dismantling so early instead of waiting maybe another 5-10 minutes. We would also have appreciated labels for each dish, as the selection was so extensive and we weren't familiar with many of them. Otherwise, it was a very pleasant visit, and we would come again.

A group was catered for, with a good variety of smorgasbord options. The food was delicious, the service efficient and accommodating. Highly recommended.

The food is home made and lovely. The atmosphere quiet and calm. It has a nice garden terrace as well as inside seating. We searched the whole town for a suitable restaurant but most places only served pizza or pasta and looked grubby.

The breakfast buffet is truly fantastic. There's a very good selection of oriental specialties, as well as fresh and delicious rolls with cold cuts and cheeses. There are also various whole cheeses that you can slice yourself. Dessert and fruit salad are also available, including unlimited coffee and tea. The scrambled eggs are freshly prepared. Truly excellent. I highly recommend it. The chef and staff are friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere is wonderful. There's a large terrace with tables and seating.

This was our first time in Lübeck and we were guided by the positive reviews of Grenadine, and we were not disappointed. The service was super friendly and assigned us a nice seat by the window. We each had a starter, which was beautifully presented and tasted excellent. The highlight, however, was my pasta in green pesto sauce. It was sensational... That alone made the five-hour journey to Lübeck worthwhile.

Shortly before 2 p.m. we stopped at the Grenadine restaurant. There we ordered hot chocolate and fruit tea. We also ordered 2 slices of bruschetta and 2 tapas (broad beans and chorizo). Delicious.

Full marks, are here for breakfast, super great breakfast. The staff, especially Berza, are very friendly and helpful. Almost everything is homemade, bread is top notch, salads are all fresh and not out of a can. As the boss said, they just don't lay the eggs themselves. Coffee, tea and juice, full. Reservation is a good idea. We'd love to come back.

Great breakfast buffet in Lübeck! We were given a very friendly welcome by the boss and even spontaneously got a table without a reservation on Sunday. The service was attentive and warm. The buffet left nothing to be desired - a large selection, and there was even free juice and coffee! A real highlight that I can recommend to everyone. Even big competitors from Hamburg can't keep up!

After dinner we were allowed to stay a while after the shop closed, listen to live Turkish guitar music (beautiful) and just have a really nice conversation where we were able to leave everyday life behind us. We walked back to the hotel with a warm feeling of appreciation and connection. When we are back in Lübeck, we will definitely come back.

Last night we experienced a culinary dream at Grenadine! The kitchen impressed with perfectly prepared tapas - from juicy bacon-wrapped dates to spicy chorizo, delicious dips and sooo fresh bread - everything fresh, aromatic and prepared with love. A finely balanced red wine went well with it. The service was great, the atmosphere was great. An all-round successful evening with top quality where you can feel that the team cooks with passion and the service is heartfelt and authentic.

We went here for breakfast for the first time today and it was great! The buffet with lots of delicacies from the Mediterranean region, but also cold cuts of cheese and sausage, freshly prepared scrambled eggs for each guest, as well as cereals and sweets. The coffee cup is “bottomless” thanks to the attentive boss. We would be very, very happy to come back.

The daily changing lunch menu attracted us during our Lübeck vacation and we were not disappointed. Despite the stress of lunch, we were served friendly, the food was great (I didn't know curry with pomegranate seeds) and there was even a tiny dessert.

A small, very nice restaurant, somewhat hidden in a side street in the heart of Lübeck. In which our two dogs (dachshunds) were also welcome. The landlord is very personable, the employees are friendly and the “kitchen” is a master. For starters we had bruschetta and buffalo mozzarella with ratatouille, and for the main course we had penne with green pesto (you could taste the freshness in the homemade pesto) and lamb chops (top fried) with risotto (really nice and sloppy). A pleasure. At the end there was a sweet dessert with carrots, (unfortunately I don't remember the exact calculation) super tasty. Prices are absolutely okay for this quality. We'll be back, even if it will take a while because Dortmund isn't exactly around the corner. Please continue like this.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The furnishings and location were absolutely appropriate and the inner courtyard was super quiet. We had the tapas plate a la grenadine for two people. The selection was good, but there was a bit too much salad. In terms of price, I think it's about right and you could just as easily order the tapas individually. The food was presented attractively, but with tapas you always expect individual small plates. The bread was okay but not a highlight. Please change the air freshener in the men's bathroom, the smell was absolutely horrible and pungent.

We celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary there on Saturday. We couldn't have made a better choice. The menu was excellent as was the service. Our guests are thrilled with the delicious food and we all felt very comfortable. We will definitely be back at the next celebration

We came here with several people as part of a birthday and wedding anniversary celebration. The menu sequence was discussed and determined in advance by the hosts. There was an appetizer plate with various delicacies. It was really balanced and had something for everyone. For the main course I had zander fillet with carrot puree, millet patties and scampi. The main course was a poem. For dessert there was crème brulet and a small fruit salt with lemon sorbet. This was a successful conclusion. The service was excellent and the little conversations in between were just great. To put it briefly, it was a great evening with an excellent meal. Thank you!

I like to go to Grenadine for the breakfast buffet. The atmosphere is calm, relaxed, friendly and both bosses and employees are courteous and warm. There are fresh scrambled eggs, good tea made from dried herbs, orange juice and coffee. The buffet is so varied and delicious that there is something for everyone, even if you have intolerances. A selected mix of rolls and bread, sausage, cheese and jam... plus many Mediterranean delicacies such as dips and pickles. In the Hofgarten it tastes twice as delicious. Not a run-of-the-mill buffet and that's why we like to come!

We've been in Scharbeutz over and over again for so long. The obligatory visit to Lübeck almost always led us to an Italian restaurant on the Trave at the end, without wanting to name a name. And of course it's good. Otherwise we wouldn't always be there. Well... last night we made an exception and ended up at Grenadine without a reservation and that was a real stroke of luck!! What can I say, everything was just right here, the ambience of the small, fine restaurant, the extremely friendly service, as if you were an old acquaintance who was a regular. And then the food!! A taste explosion that is second to none. Everything prepared to perfection, the finest herbal nuances. It couldn't be better!! We would be happy to come back and definitely recommend the restaurant. 👍🏻👍🏻

It is so lovingly prepared, dishes are prepared with heart and are so colorful and diverse! I also found it child-friendly! Vi fandt stedet lidt ude af bymidten i Lübeck og det var et rigtig godt valg. Mesut Tüzer tog imod os med et stort smil og vi følte os velkommen med det samme. Vi bestilte en flaske rødvin med kyndig vejledning og 4 forskellige tapas som var veltilberedt og smagte skønt. Til desert valgte vi en tirmashu samt en kop mokka og en af Mesuts egne Raki, alt passede perfekt sammen. Der var god service og maden kom hurtigt uden at vi skulle vente. Vi kommer igen næste gang vi skal til Lübeck. Hermed vores bedste anbefalinger til en stille og skøn par eller familie aften.

We found the place a little outside the city center in Lübeck and it was a really good choice. Mesut Tüzer welcomed us with a big smile and we felt welcome straight away. We ordered a bottle of red wine with expert guidance and 4 different tapas which were well prepared and tasted great. For dessert we chose a tirmashu as well as a cup of mocha and one of Mesut's own Raki, everything went together perfectly. There was good service and the food came quickly without us having to wait. We will come again next time we go to Lübeck. Herewith our best recommendations for a quiet and wonderful couple or family evening.

It was my first time at Grenadine for breakfast. Everything is just right here!!! The breakfast is so varied that you don't even know what to take. Because one thing is certain: you can't do everything...or can you? There are antipasti of the finest quality, salmon, sausage, cheese, something sweet, homemade rolls, fruit, dessert, juices, muesli and freshly prepared scrambled eggs upon request. Last night in Lübeck we simply felt like tapas. We stumbled upon this great restaurant by chance. And what I want to tell you, you have to see for yourself. I love good food, delicious wine and friendly people. The evening was a great success. The bulgur salad already convinced us, the tapas topped it. The Portuguese wine was delicious (the owner gave us a taste of the wines). It was a house brand that tasted light and delicious. The ambience was nicely decorated, everything was very clean and the taste of music matched the ambience. The place is worth a visit for food lovers. Have fun trying it out and enjoy it 💕
