We were spontaneously looking for a restaurant for a cozy evening for two on our way to the Baltic Sea. We came across Papillon on Google Maps and chose it because of its good reviews and proximity to the A1 motorway. Since it was dark and rainy, we initially had trouble finding the restaurant, ending up in the theater parking lot. However, a very pleasant phone call with the restaurant manager quickly helped us find our way. The manager personally welcomed us warmly at the door. We were pleasantly surprised by the beautiful and stylish dark green and gold decor in the restaurant. The service was good and very attentive throughout the evening, and the food was truly excellent and reasonably priced! We were thrilled and will definitely come back!

A beautifully designed restaurant with delicious food and very attentive service. We returned to Bargteheide after a long absence and visited Papillon for the second time and were thrilled with the redesign – with dark green walls and gold accessories, it was chic yet cozy. The chef initially recommended a small menu for us to eat on the lovely terrace under the trees, and it was fantastic. I don't usually like raw food and opted for something other than the tuna tartare, but after trying it with my friends, I found it sensational. I'll have that next time, too. The well-seared sea bream fillet on colorful pan-fried vegetables with truffled mashed potatoes was also excellent and we were already quite happy. It got too cold for dessert, but it was no problem at all to move everything into the lovely dining room. Bargteheide doesn't usually offer anything so stylish! It feels like a big city! After all, we were the last guests, and the espresso machine had to be fired up again, which wasn't a problem at all. Lorian served us super friendly until the end and locked the door behind us… That's what it's like when you create such wonderful hospitality that guests don't want to leave. We'll definitely be back sooner!

A true insider tip in an idyllic setting: This restaurant in Bargteheide impresses with warm hospitality, lovingly prepared dishes, and a pleasantly tranquil atmosphere. The cuisine is regionally influenced, freshly prepared, and perfectly flavorful. We'll be happy to return.

We were only there for a demonstration but it was still a very nice facility

After consulting with Baki, we opted for the suggested menu. We and our guests were very impressed – thank you very much. I celebrated my birthday on May 23rd with 22 guests. It was such a wonderful evening, it was simply beautiful! Everything was just perfect: the location, the food, and Baki and his team were fantastic – it was like being a guest at a good friend's house 😎 Conclusion: Top-notch and a TOP recommendation ☺️

We were at Papillon again today. And once again, we were absolutely thrilled. My wife had been there before, and today I saw the restaurant for the first time after the renovation. It's really turned out great. A very beautiful and elegant ambiance. There's not much new to report about the food. As always, it was really, really good (I had roast beef and my wife had pasta with asparagus). When we're in Bargteheide, we go here about six or seven times out of ten. And we've never been disappointed. The service is always very good, and the owner, Baku, has a kind word for everyone. We are very satisfied overall and are already looking forward to our next visit.

A few days ago the four of us were in the restaurant because we wanted to go to the theater afterwards. On theater days there is a reduced menu because the capacity utilization is very high. We were a little unlucky with the service and the food. Based on my review, the owner contacted me and explained the somewhat unfortunate circumstances. He asked us to make a second attempt and we took the risk today. Now everything was perfect, attentive and friendly service. The food was varied and very good, we were able to try out many variations, everything was fresh, very tasty and lovingly prepared (the eye eats too)! The non-alcoholic cocktails are great 🤩. The new ambience did the rest and we were able to take a look at the new rooms in peace. Dear Baki, thank you very much for your warm commitment and hospitality. We'd love to come back and try out the menu.

Erneut sehr zufrieden. 5 Personen, 4 verschiedene Gerichte und alle waren sehr zufrieden. Ein sehr freundlicher Empfang durch den Gastgeber (Wirt). Das gilt auch für die Mitarbeiter. Es ist sehr wohltuend mal wieder echte Gastronomie zu erleben. Die Speisen waren wie immer sehr wohlschmeckend und gut angerichtet. Da ich ein schlechter Esser bin, war ich erfreut auch eine kleine Portion zu bekommen. Wir kommen wieder:

We celebrated our wedding reception at Papillon in December with 10 adults and 8 children. Despite the stressful pre-Christmas period, Baki and his team tried very hard to fulfill all of our special requests. Always in a good mood, great atmosphere, very child-friendly and the food was simply delicious. All guests were thrilled. Thank you for doing your best for us on this unforgettable day.

Sehr lange auf das Essen gewartet. Fast eine Stunde. Sehr laut. Sehr freundliche aber dilettantische Bedienung. Prosecco bestellt aber Sekt bekommen. Wurde aber anstandslos ausgetauscht. Das Essen war wie immer sehr gut. Wir hätten gerne Getränke nachbestellt aber die Bedienung war nicht erreichbar. Zusammenfassend, völlige Überforderung. Wir werden trotzdem wiederkommen und hoffen.

At a family celebration we discovered that our hosts were being cheated. More drinks were charged for the number of drinks consumed and drinks were charged that were not ordered at all. The food was a complete disgrace and when we confronted the tenant we only had to listen to lies and excuses. We have never experienced anything so cheeky.

It doesn't always have to be Hamburg! Integrated into the small theater in Bargteheide, Baki and his team offer great cinema and culinary enjoyment. We were guests on November 16, 2024 and enjoyed the “autumn menu”. In addition to the delicacies on offer, fine wines are also served here upon request. Friendliness and service are also 1A! Refined cuisine in a cozy atmosphere, with exceptionally courteous staff!! Whenever the opportunity arises, a visit to Papillon is always a highlight. Not only the culinary aspects, but also the professional and highly motivated team are simply a joy. And when there's something particularly off the regular menu, the service staff knows how to successfully offer the delicacies. Which you definitely don't regret. We were there for a birthday. My initial slight skepticism due to the somewhat unusual location was already gone upon greeting, as the service and the coordination of the relatively large table left a very professional impression. Regardless of whether it was a starter, main course or dessert, the preparation was optimal and every plate was prepared with love. All the ingredients were fresh (!) and the steak was of such high quality that I have only ever eaten in extremely high-priced restaurants - the taste was one of the best I have ever eaten. For me an absolute insider tip in Bargdeheide. Anyone who wants to have a really tasty meal and values ​​fresh and high-quality ingredients will definitely not be disappointed here. We will come back in any case!

Great location with very attentive and friendly staff and very tasty food, and well prepared.

My girlfriend had personally ordered a table at 5:00 p.m. from the boss by phone on April 23rd, 2024 to May 5th, 2024. We were informed on site that no table had been booked in our name. After a short exchange of words, the staff asked whether we might have ordered from another restaurant. They were unable to offer us a place. There was no apology and we were simply left standing. This restaurant is not recommended.

We have eaten here twice and have also ordered pick-up twice. Every time it was very tasty and of high quality, and we also received very, very friendly service and advice. What was amazing was that we picked up fillet steak and it was still really tender when we got home. I don't think you can get better takeout around here. The ambience in front does Location is nice in the old theater, but it can happen that visitors walk past the table after the performance.

On April 13th, 2024 we celebrated my birthday with 33 people at Papillon. We planned the menu, drinks and decoration together with “Baki”. The celebration was very nice and the food was fantastic. The fact that the evening turned out so well was largely due to Baki and his friendly and very attentive team. We were here for the first time and were very positively surprised, the food (starters and main courses) were super tasty, fresh and of good quality. The service was very friendly and attentive. The lasting impression depends on a friendly restaurant manager and good food. Everything was perfect here on our first visit today. Delicious bruscetta, crispy pulp arms on beetroot risotto and spaghetti scampi were great in terms of appearance and taste. Because I wanted to try it out, I also took the 5 mixed tapas as another starter, which was great from a culinary point of view, but way too much, next time as a main course! The service was attentive, always on hand and regularly asked whether everything was as desired. The prices may not be cheap, but the price-performance ratio is right. We will be back!

Wunderschönes Ambiente, es lädt zum Verweilen ein. Eine gewölbte Decke, dennoch hallt es nicht. Das Essen ist richtig lecker . Wer Brezza trinken mag, kann diesen hier glasweise bestellen.

Wir haben hier einen sehr schönen Abend mit unseren Freunden verbracht und in einem seperaten Raum einen Geburtstag gefeiert. Das Essen war ein genussvoller Hammer, die Getränkeauswahl optimal. In kleinen Mauernischen brannten Kerzen und wir konnten problemlos noch eigene Ideen einbringen. Alle waren sehr zufrieden und wir würden hier jederzeit wieder feiern.

Das Essen hat "Sterne Qualität" und war vorzügliche und die Servicekräfte waren noch neu,aber super freundlich. Das Ambiente ist auch schön,nur wenn das Kino zuende ist, wird es sehr laut. Für ein romantisches Dinner dann nicht so schön,aber ansonsten gut auszuhalten. Für uns eine klare Empfehlung und ab sofort eines unserer Lieblings-Restaurants 👍

Wir waren mit 8 Leuten essen es war ein Geburtstag . Bedienung war überragend sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Essen war super , auch der Chef hat mal hallo gesagt und sogar gratuliert 😄. Was ich schade fand das das Geburtstagskind keine Kleinigkeit z.b. aus der Küche als Gruß bekommen hatte bzw. Wir bei einer Rechnung von 300€ keinen kleinen Schnaps oder Café aufs Haus nach dem Essen bekommen haben - daran könnte man noch arbeiten.

Wir haben heute mit der ganzen Familie dort einen schönen Abend verbracht. Das Essen war excellent und frisch zubereitet. Unsere Enkelkinder haben sehr schnell vorab ihr Essen bekommen, so dass wir alles in Ruhe genießen konnten. Der gesamte Service war top. Das war nicht unser letzter Besuch dort, wir kommen wieder. Eine interessante Location im Vorraum eines ehemaligen Kinos mit außergewöhnlichem Ambiente. Sehr nette und aufmerksame Bedienung - eine abgebrannte Kerze auf unserem Tisch wurde während unseres Essens ausgetauscht. Zwischendurch ging auch der Küchenchef an die Tische und erkundigte sich bei den Gästen, ob sie mit dem Essen zufrieden sind. Die Qualität und der Geschmack der Gerichte hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Das fing schon mit dem Brot des Bruscetta an, das schön kross war und einen schönen Brotgeschmack hatte. Das Surf and Turf Papillon - sanft geschmorte Rinderbäckchen in Portweinsauce mit gebratenen Garnelen und Selleriestampf - war extrem lecker. Auch die Nudeln (mit besonderem, wahrnehmbaren Eigengeschmack) mit Garnelen waren sehr gut. Auf eine Nachspeise mussten wir verzichten - wir waren pappsatt. Und wir kommen bestimmt wieder!

Eine kleine und übersichtliche Karte mit individuellen Köstlichkeiten, verbunden mit einem sehr netten Service. Hier gibt es nichts zu meckern... und es schmeckt einfach toll.

It was the second visit to this restaurant. We were very pleased upon our 1st visit, but the 2nd were were more than satisfied. We booked a table outside because it is not necessary to do an express test for COVID in front of the restaurant. The terrace is nice. We ordered tuna tartar with avocado and mango. Well presented, good taste. Fresh fish. Fair price 14 euros. We ordered roast beef. The quality of the meat was perfect, well prepared and well prepared. Fair price 16 Euro. The wines have fair prices. Gavi wAs charged 24 euros, approximately. The service is friendly. I do recommend this restaurant. We will return.

Das Papillon ist seit Jahren DAS Restaurant, das bei uns für die besonderen Abende reserviert war: Dinner for two, Mädelsabende, immer wenn ein kinderfreier Abend anstand, war das Papillon erste Wahl: wunderbares Essen, tolle begleitende Getränke, superlieber Service, individuelle Wünsche, die gern und gut umgesetzt wurden... Dann kam unser 10. Hochzeitstag- und kein Babysitter in Sicht... 🙈 Wir grübelten, ob wir den 7-Jährigen mitnehmen konnten oder lieber nicht. Am Ende entschieden wir: wir versuchen es, instruierten den Sohn, warnten Beni und Baki vor und dann: Zum Aperitif gab es einen Ramazotti rosato mit Tonic für uns Große und einen Holunderblütensirup auf Sprite für den Junior aufs Haus: Brav angestoßen, angesetzt und das Söhnchen bekam große Augen: lecker! 😍 Unser Aperitif bekam die gleiche begeisterte Wertung... Zur Vorspeise entschieden wir uns fürs Carpaccio (wie fast immer 😉) und die Tapas-Platte: von letzterer bekam ich kaum was ab, weil der Junior fast alles nahezu inhalierte... (er ist sonst kein guter Esser...) Aber ich sollte nicht verhungern: zur Hauptspeise hatte ich mir wie immer das Mallorquinische Spanferkel bestellt (einfach zu gut!), der Mann bestellte Tagliata vom Steak, das Söhnchen bekam eine Sonderlocke aus Wienerschnitzel mit Gurkensalat und Süßkartoffelpommes als Kinderportion (dennoch wahrlich nicht zu klein) und verputzte den Großteil davon in Rekordzeit, testete zwischendurch bei uns und hörte nur auf, weil er glaubte, sonst zu platzen (er hatte das 3-4fache seiner sonst üblichen Portion verputzt!). Vom Nachtisch (Creme brulée mit Mangoeis und Schokokuchen mit flüssigem Kern, Kirschen und Vanilleeis) musste er aber dennoch probieren... Am Ende erklärte das Kind, dies sei nun sein absolutes Lieblingsrestaurant und sein Geburtstag müsse nun dort gefeiert werden... 😉 Auch für uns war der Abend „trotz“ Kind toll, weil aber eben nicht nur wir Erwachsenen (wie immer) liebevoll individuell von Baki und Co. umsorgt wurden, sondern auch der Junior... Ein ganz großes Danke für diesen Abend und natürlich auch alle anderen tollen Genussmomente... Ihr seid toll!!! 😊

Ein Wiederbesuch während Coronavirus-Zeiten. Speisekarten werden nicht mehr automatisch ausgehändigt. Es gibt sie auf Nachfrage oder im Internet nachzulesen. Im Ausland werden die Karten präsentiert, nachdem sie mit Hygiene-Flüssigkeit gereinigt wurden. Wir reservierten zuvor einen Tisch, was Sinn macht. Die zuvor gefundene romantische Atmosphäre fanden wir nicht wieder vor! Wir bestellten: Spanferkel (16,90 €) und Thunfischtartar (13,90 €), Creme Brulee (6,90 €), eine Flasche Gavi ,0,75 l 24,90 € , eine Flasche Michaelis Sprudel, 0,25 l, (2,50 € ), 1 Grappa, 2 cl, 3,50€. Der Gesamtpreis war 68,60 €. Das Thunfischtartar war gut. Die Präsentation vom Spanferkel hat mich nicht überzeugt. Der Geschmack vom Fleisch war recht trocken. Die Haut war knusprig. Der Service war Durchschnitt. Wein wurde nicht nachgeschenkt. Kreditkarten wurden nicht akzeptiert! Barzahlung ist angesagt! Einen Drink auf das Haus gab es nicht. Heute war es eine durchschnittliche Erfahrung. Meine subjektive Beurteilung: Ambiente: 3 Punkte Service : 3 Punkte Weinauswahl: 3 Punkte Preis-/Leistung: 3 Punkte Qualität und Zubereitung: 3 Punkte

Valgte denne restaurant fordi de skrev at der var brunch. Vi kørte af motorvejen og Kørte 13 km efter det og da vi så sad der havde de ikke brunch og sagde at det var Google som skrev det. De var helt ligeglade og vi rejste os skuffede og kørte igen. Så til andre tjek deres hjemmeside inden i kører efter stedet 😫

Der Sohn von Baki mixt seit dieser Woche einen exzellenten Gin Basil Smash und Whisky Sour. Muss man probiert haben! Das Maishähnchen war wieder sehr gut. Auch das Erbeertiramisu ist ein Muss!

Endlich einmal eine positive Überraschung: Hier findet man eine wirklich gute Küche. Diesmal - als Besonderheit - stimmten die Beurteilungen bei TripAdvisor wirklich. Dieses Restaurant ist sehr empfehlenswert! Wir hatten reserviert und wurden schnell zu unserem Tisch geleitet. Nach 5-10 Minuten erhielten wir unsere Speisekarte. Zusätzlich wurden auf einer Schiefertafel 3 Tagesgerichte angeboten. Die Weinkarte war übersichtlich, Verbesserungen werden empfohlen. Wir bestellten ein kleines Mineralwasser (0,25 l=2,50 €). Eine Karotten-Ingwer-Suppe (5,00 €). Eine Extra-Portion Bratkartoffeln (3,50 €). Eine halbe Ente mit Rotkohl und Bratkartoffeln (19,90 €). Eine Flasche Chardonnay Trentino (23,50 €). Ein Glas Wein, Lungarotti, 0,2 l=5,90 €. Ein Glas Sauvignon Blanc, 0,2 l=5,90 €. Das Ambiente ist nett, der Service ist freundlich. Bei Hochbetrieb, wie heute, dauert es etwas länger. Der Geschmack der Suppe war ok. Die Ente war hervorragend gelungen. Gleiches galt für den Rotkohl und die Bratkartoffeln. Dies Restaurant ist einen Besuch wert! Meine subjektive Bewertung: Service: 3-4 Punkte Preis-/Leistung: 3-4 Punkte Qualität und Zubereitung der Speisen: 4 Punkte Ambiente: 3 Punkte Wein-Angebote: 2 Punkte Kreditkarten wurden nicht (!) akzeptiert!
