Pannfisch mit Bratkartoffeln war sehr lecker. Absolute Weiterempfehlung.

Immer wenn wir auf der Insel sind geht es in die Mocca Stuben. Ein Tisch muss man mindestens zwei Woche vorher reservieren, es lohnt sich.

Tolles Restaurant. Essen war klasse, Personal freundlich und nordisch humorvoll. Kann es sehr empfehlen. Allerdings, wie auf der ganzen Insel, sollte man Plätze reservieren.

Essen sehr gut Personal sehr zuvorkommend Frühstück für jeden etwas dabei Zimmer und Bäder sind picko bello sauber, Hotel ist etwas Hellhörig. Ansonsten sind wir sehr zufrieden werden nochmals buchen. LG Ein Gast.

Wir waren gestern zum ersten und bestimmt NICHT letzten Mal dort. Den Tisch hatte ich per Mail reserviert, was super geklappt hat und ich unbedingt empfehlen würde, das Restaurant ist gut besucht! Die Bedienung war wirklich freundlich und umsichtig! Selten haben wir so gut gegessen, die Sößchen (Senfsoße zum Pannfisch, Hollandaise zum Cordon Bleu) ein Traum, genauso wie das Dressing zum sehr schmackhaften Salat. Die Fischstücke vom Pannfisch könnten größer sein, geschmacklich waren sie perfekt gebraten und gewürzt, die Bratkartoffeln dazu schön knusprig. Soßen separat im Schälchen, besser geht's nicht! Zur Krönung hinterher einen Helgoländer Eiergrog, den muss man probieren! Lecker!

Perfektes Hotel für den Kurzurlaub auf Helgoland. Frühstück super und sehr reichhaltig. Abendessen im Restaurant kann man auch empfehlen. Reservierung erforderlich!

Wir waren am Samstag (16 5.26) in der Mocca Stube. Es war einfach wunderbar. Das Essen total lecker. Das Ambiente sehr schön und der Service mega nett. Das nächste Mal wenn wir auf Helgoland sind kommen wir auf jedenfall wieder

Die Bedienung war nicht von der schnellsten Sorte. Dafür hat das warten sich am Ende gelohnt. Das Essen war hervorragend! Ich hatte mit Abstand das beste Cordon bleu ever. Das Fleisch war noch supersaftig, so dass man nicht mal eine Sauce benötigte. Der Gurkensalat war geschmacklich auch ausgezeichnet! Des Weiteren können wir die Zwiebelsuppe und den Ziegenkäse Salat empfehlen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Während unseres 1-wöchigen Aufenthalt waren wir auch zu Gast in der Mocca Stube. Hier ist dringend eine Reservierung empfohlen! :) Beim ersten Versuch hatten wir kein Glück, konnten aber für den Folgetag reservieren. Preislich angemessen. Speisen köstlich! Hatte hier ein üppiges Stück Rinderfilet mit Kroketten und Sauce. Einen Salat fürs gute Gewissen gab es auch noch. Jederzeit gern wieder.

Die Pommes schmecken dort am besten, schön kross, das Schnitzel ein Traum! Das Alster auch super, mit genügend Kohlensäure. Alles in allem unser Lieblingsrestaurant! Aber unbedingt reservieren!

Wir sind seit vielen Jahren im Herbst auf Helgoland – und ein Besuch in den Mocca-Stuben gehört für uns einfach dazu. Das Team ist supernett, immer mit einem flotten Spruch auf den Lippen, und wer öfter kommt, wird auch nach einem Jahr wieder herzlich und fröhlich begrüßt. Der Laden ist fast immer voll, daher gilt: rechtzeitig reservieren! Sonst steht man schnell vor der Tür und macht eine lange Nase. Das Essen ist durchweg sehr gut. Neben den hervorragenden Fischgerichten lohnen sich auch die Fleischgerichte. Besonders empfehlen kann ich als Vorspeise die Zwiebelsuppe, und meine Begleiter schwärmen jedes Mal von den Garnelen in Knoblauch. Beim Fisch ist der Helgoländer Pannfisch mit Senfsoße und Bratkartoffeln ein Klassiker – kräftig, bodenständig, einfach lecker. Ebenfalls sehr zu empfehlen ist der Salat mit drei verschiedenen Fischfilets. Wer lieber Fleisch mag, bekommt mit dem Cordon bleu (mit Kroketten und Sauce hollandaise) oder dem Wiener Kalbsschnitzel mit Pommes und Gurkensalat ebenfalls hervorragende Gerichte. Zum Abschluss darf es bei uns traditionell die Crème brûlée geben – und danach natürlich noch einen (oder zwei) Absacker. Ein Ort mit Herz, Humor und richtig gutem Essen – wir freuen uns schon auf den nächsten Besuch

Wir sind eine Gruppe 7 Männer... Die Helgolandfahrer 🧐 Jedes Jahr fahren wir auf diese Hochseeinsel. Und jedes Jahr übernachten wir in den Mocca Stuben. Das Hotel 👍🍻👍🍻 Das Personal👍❤️👍❤️👍❤️ Die Küche 👍🍻👍🍻👍🍻 Wer dort einen Grund zum meckern sucht. Der muss wirklich Suchen. Und wir glauben nicht daß er fündig wird. Früher war das Mocca Stuben für mich ein echtes Highlight auf Helgoland – ein Ort, an dem Qualität, Atmosphäre und Herzlichkeit perfekt harmonierten. Leider muss ich feststellen, dass sich seit dem Besitzerwechsel einiges verändert hat – und leider nicht zum Positiven. Die einst so liebevoll angerichteten Speisen wirken heute eher standardisiert. Geschmacklich ist vieles noch in Ordnung, aber das gewisse Etwas, das früher jedes Gericht besonders machte, fehlt. Auch der Service hat nachgelassen. Während man früher das Gefühl hatte, wirklich willkommen zu sein bei Antje und Stephan, wirkt das Personal heute oft gestresst und distanziert. Die freundliche, familiäre Atmosphäre, die das Restaurant einst auszeichnete, ist einer eher nüchternen Professionalität gewichen. Das Ambiente ist zwar noch schön, aber auch hier fehlt die liebevolle Handschrift, die früher spürbar war – sei es in der Dekoration oder in kleinen Details, die den Aufenthalt besonders machten. Ich möchte betonen, dass das Mocca Stuben keineswegs schlecht ist. Es ist immer noch ein solides Restaurant mit guter Küche. Aber wer das Lokal noch unter dem Vorbesitzer kannte, wird die Veränderungen deutlich spüren – und vermutlich ein wenig enttäuscht sein. Ich hoffe, dass sich das Team wieder mehr auf die ursprünglichen Stärken besinnt und dem Restaurant seinen alten Charme zurückgibt. Helgoland verdient diesen besonderen Ort – so wie er einmal war.

As with all restaurants on Heligoland, you can't make a reservation here. We had very fresh pan-fried fish and cordon bleu, and for dessert, a delicious panna cotta with plum compote. We had originally planned to have lobster, but the pool in the restaurant where you can choose them was unfortunately empty.

Simply delicious, superb cuisine, top-notch service, and reasonable prices. Nothing to complain about.

One of the top restaurants on Heligoland, Mokkastuben: Excellent food, whether it's spaghetti or fried fish, is a must-visit. Reservations are recommended.

We had a Wiener schnitzel that was very poorly cooked; the breading was crumbly and somewhat soggy. The salad was good, the shrimp too, and the spaghetti with pesto was nothing special. The service wasn't exactly friendly, and the entire restaurant smelled of food. We were glad to leave.

The food is super delicious. The sauces for the fish and the schnitzel are ridiculously delicious. The dynamo mayo and the cucumber salad are incomparable.

Very good food and friendly service. If you want to eat Labskaus or good fish on Heligoland, this is the place to go.

Going out to eat during this time means you want to experience an "event." We're doing quite well and are looking forward to a nice atmosphere, friendly staff, and tasty, perhaps even high-quality food. Antje from the Mocca-Stuben went out of her way and was friendly. The other employees were stressed and made all the guests feel it. The food was okay. But don't look for more.

We have rarely experienced such disrespectful and unprofessional treatment in a restaurant. Upon entering, we were ignored, spoken to unkindly, and treated as if we were a burden. The service was simply rude. We asked if we could have fried potatoes instead of croquettes – which was rudely refused, even though fried potatoes are perfectly normal on the menu. We were told we could only choose between croquettes or fries. When my father expressed his suspicion that this was odd, the waitress said something in a language other than German. We don't know what she said, but her tone was clearly derogatory. We felt completely unwelcome and eventually got up and left. This had nothing to do with hospitality – it was pure indifference.

Excellent food and very attentive staff!

We've enjoyed visiting this restaurant many times over the past few years – especially because of the cozy atmosphere and the excellent food. This time, we were even more disappointed. Unfortunately, we couldn't enjoy the food as much as we used to. The Knieper portion, in particular, was significantly smaller, even though the price remained the same. Overall, we also had the impression that the service was no longer as attentive and warm as usual. It's a shame, because we've always been happy to recommend this restaurant. Maybe it was just a bad day, but compared to our previous visits, we simply didn't enjoy it as much this time.

On our first evening of vacation on Heligoland on June 18, 2025, we were really looking forward to a cozy evening with delicious food, good drinks, and friendly service, but unfortunately, we were bitterly disappointed! The food was tasty, but it was served lukewarm, and the mustard sauce had spread all over the plate. Our service was very hectic, unfriendly, and incompetent, and the overall atmosphere was rather tense, in our opinion. It's a shame, because in previous years we've always been completely thrilled!

The food was great, and so was the service. We'll definitely be back.

I ate the best lobster of my life here. The Heligoland lobster is truly something special. The plaice and cod were also a taste experience. I recommend it to everyone! The staff was so friendly. Despite (or because of) its dated name, this is a real insider tip on the island! Honest, no-nonsense dishes, excellent quality, and robust, yet always friendly and, above all, competent service! We'll be back! (Make reservations early!)

An incredibly good fillet steak with a very good pepper sauce. Before that, a cream of asparagus soup that was delicious. The service from "Antje" was refreshingly tart and friendly. That's how I like it! Normal is fine, but this was not normal. This was truly fantastic. Thanks to the team at Mocca Stuben.

The Mocca was recommended by a photographer friend. My plaice was amazing, the service was excellent. I followed it with a lovely Helbing. I'd happily recommend it.

Highly recommended, so it's best to make a reservation in advance. My brother and I were there on a Saturday evening and received a friendly welcome and were quickly seated. The main courses, panfish and gourmet salad, were delicious and beautifully presented, as well as filling enough. The appetizer, bread, aioli, and olives were very fresh and tasty, but rather sparsely presented. The ambiance is tasteful and the noise level is pleasant. We'll be back on our next visit to Heligoland.

Very tasty and fresh food, everything went very quickly. Unfortunately the service is lacking. The menus were simply placed on the table without eye contact. Then we wanted a menu for a dessert, unfortunately no one came to order.

New Year's Eve on Heligoland is great, celebrating in the Mocca Stuben makes the whole thing perfect! We had a superbly prepared menu in which our individual wishes were professionally addressed. The service was impeccable and the atmosphere was great. A very nice gesture was that the “magicians” from the kitchen also came to us and toasted with us. In summary, I can say that it was a successful evening with a fair price-performance ratio. Thank you for that!!

Food was great, and the food was served at pleasant intervals! However, the waiters lacked some coordination. Even what was not ordered was served! You can still work on it a bit! Reservations recommended!!

I would like to share our experience at Mocca Stuben with you. We recently went to the restaurant for dinner with a large group. It was the second time for us because we had already eaten here last year. Unfortunately, we were quite disappointed on this visit. We had a reservation in the evening and were guaranteed a time slot of 2 hours. We arrived about 15 minutes early and got our table straight away. Unfortunately, it took a very long time until we received the menu and drinks menu and were then able to order drinks and food. We finally had the food 1.5 hours later and were able to eat. After a quarter of an hour, while we were still eating, we were told to hurry up because the table would be reserved again. We have all fallen away from the faith! We pay a lot of money for the food even though 2 orders were wrong and we didn't want to wait any longer and it wasn't our fault that it took so long until we could order drinks and food. Like last year, we wanted a dessert, coffee and digestif after the main course... but the waitress just reacted annoyed and answered rudely. We were served and paid. The tip was accordingly reduced and she was then offended. I myself have worked as a chef de rang in a renowned restaurant and I would never have expected something like that here in this restaurant. But nowadays it is difficult to find and keep good staff. But with so many guests coming and going, you can afford to treat guests like that. Unfortunately it will be the last visit.

Reservation from home didn't work. We were very satisfied before the renovation (hotel). Only got a dinner reservation for 8 p.m. After 10 minutes we were informed that the kitchen closes at 8:30 p.m. So we didn't have a pleasant evening there. At 8:50 p.m. we were urged to pay extra because it closed at 9 p.m.

We were served perfectly and extremely friendly in a beautiful atmosphere. Antje is the very best! The food came quickly and the explanations about how to deal with Knieper were very nice!

We went there spontaneously for dinner and got a table outside straight away. Then we had to wait quite a long time for the menu, until we could order it was pretty quick. We waited a long time for our food, which isn't so bad if it's communicated correctly, and when we asked we only got a stroppy answer. Afterwards it turned out that we had probably been forgotten and the order was taken again. After that everything went pretty quickly and the food was very tasty.

There is no better restaurant on Helgoland. The service is absolutely excellent

It's best to reserve in advance, we were able to spontaneously get a seat at the counter. The food was very tasty, the fish dishes were cooked to perfection and the cordon bleu was also very juicy. The service was quick and friendly.

We went here for dinner with a group. The food was great. The only deduction: Because we were there about 5 minutes early, we were sent out again and had to wait 15 minutes for our table. It's not that bad, but I would have liked to have something to drink while I waited. But that wasn't offered. But price performance is top.

Highly recommend Wiener Schnitzel. On the second day I had the rump steak Land & Meer. This seemed almost raw at first. When asked, the steak was then seared medium. Nice service, but a bit overwhelmed by the many guests. We waited about 30 minutes for the card. After that, however, everything happened very quickly.
