It started with us having to wait forever for the waiter. He kept walking past us without acknowledging us. (We were sitting outside.) It wasn't very busy either, so he could have easily asked us what we wanted to drink.
There were three of us, and two of us wanted a bite to eat. So we ordered a small Coke Zero, two large Coke Zeros, and two currywurst fries with mayo.
If you look at the prices on the website, you'd think we paid around €34. But it was ten euros more. The prices vary enormously from the website, and the Coke is totally outrageous. A large glass of Coke cost €6.20.
The food was okay. Nothing special, and not at all nicely presented. When you sit outside, you constantly get the smell of Cologne wafting around your nose. Unfortunately, that's not very pleasant. If you go to the restroom, you can only enter if you pay €0.50. The fact that a guest who pays €6.20 for a Coke also has to pay €0.50 for the restroom is truly below the belt. I can understand asking people who come in from outside to use the restroom to check out, but ripping off your own guests is truly cheeky.
One of the waiters who served us didn't even speak a word of German. I think you should be able to speak the bare minimum.
All in all, I would definitely not recommend this place.
The price/performance ratio is not right here and the service staff could also be friendlier to their guests.
It's a shame, an otherwise nice location. There will be no follow-up visit from us.
Parts of the order were forgotten, the plate was snatched away from under your nose and when you said no to the question of whether you wanted to order dessert, you were given the bill without being asked. We didn't even have one
drunk.
It's a shame, that used to be better
Food was good, nice Flammkuechle. Service management a disaster
Up to three staff touts seating people (or smoking) and only one staff actually serving, resulting in long waiting times. The one who seems to be the boss just stands around and does not do anything.
Many chairs fixed with sticky tape which stuck to my arm.
In the Dinea Restaurant the meat was fried in a separate pan for us Muslims. I've never experienced that before. This is absolutely awesome. It's a shame there isn't a 6th star.
Now I just went to the place where I worked two years ago and Hasiye's Restaurant. That can't happen. I have visited many countries in Germany, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Brazil, Syria, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Romania. Bulgaria's Macedonia. I've traveled around and have never seen a clean man like this.
The food is ok. It really bothers me that there is so much rubbish everywhere outside, and that's why I have the impression that the owners of the Pizza Arena don't care about cleanliness because they don't do anything about the rubbish. Sure, picking up trash is a daily occurrence because so many people drop everything, but it's also clean again every day.
Everything really good. Nice “Brauhaus” on the ground floor of a hotel. Very friendly and attentive service and delicious, well-prepared food. Only the price-performance ratio no longer seemed to suit us at €2.90 for a Sion Kölsch - although poured with love - and €17.50 for Himmel und Ääd. Still recommended!
The shop has had better times. It feels like it hasn't been renovated in 30 years. The food, especially the lentil soup, also tasted a lot better. The best thing was really the hard-working service staff.
