Sehr lecker. Nicht ganz günstig aber wir hatten eine gute Zeit.

Leider gab es mehr Schatten als Licht . Hände weg beim Backhändl !!!

Wir haben ein Restaurant gesucht um nach einer langen Anreise etwas leckeres zu essen und wurden im Düx fündig. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis war kein Schnäppchen aber dennoch recht gut. Verschiedene lokale Spezialitäten und eine recht große und gute Auswahl an Steaksgerichten waren genau das, was wir gesucht haben. Der Service war echt super, so das man gerne Trinkgeld gibt. Obwohl es ein recht großer Schankraum ist, ist es doch recht gemütlich und auch leise. Einziger kleinet Kritikpunkt: man muss wissen, dass man durch die Lobby des ebenfalls im Gebäude befindliche Hotels gehen muss, um ins Düx zu gelangen.

Danke, ihr habt mir heute den Tag versüßt! Die Mitarbeiterin mit den kurzen Haaren und der schönen, großen Brille weiß wie gute Gastro geht und hat somit für eine zufriedene und satte Kundin gesorgt. Ich danke dir dafür! You made my day ❤️

Hervorragender Service, leckeres Essen und tolle Atmosphäre.

Essen sehr gut, aber leider das Service ser schlecht! Sind in Österreich was besseres gewohnt! Lange Wartezeit auf alles.

Das Essen ist wirklich hervorragend, genauso wie der Service und das Ambiente. Sehr gerne wieder.

Highly recommended in every respect

We ate at Düx twice during INTERMOT and were happy both times with the very good, traditional German cuisine. The atmosphere is cozy and quiet. The service was friendly and could have sold even more Kölsch if the staff had been more efficient.

If you are not German or don’t speak German, don’t do to this restaurant. I waited for 40 min at a table, then I got a menu. Then I couldn’t order for another 15 min then I left there. I couldn’t have even a glass of water for an hour. Too busy, and they don’t care… I will never go.

The service is a complete disaster.

Absolutely terrible! Unmotivated and unfriendly staff who basically don't want to take orders. A messy bar area where guests aren't allowed to sit because it's supposedly needed for personal use. This is what happens when hotel employees run a restaurant. Completely exorbitant prices! What a shame for what is otherwise a lovely location.

We went there after visiting a trade fair; the restaurant is located directly across the street. The service was very friendly and attentive, the food was excellent, and the portions were generous. The ambiance is typical of a brewery pub: simple, but clean and cozy. Highly recommended, not just for trade fair visitors.

We stumbled upon this restaurant quite by chance at 9 pm in a Dorint Hotel and got a table right away. My partner had the tarte flambée and I had the Deutzer Pfanne (a type of pan-fried dish). We were absolutely delighted with the taste, the professional and friendly service, the cozy atmosphere, and the value for money. If we're ever in Cologne again, we'll definitely be back. Honestly – I haven't experienced anything like this in a long time. I was still hungry after eating; the portions were a joke! The service? A complete disaster. Empty plates piled up, no one seemed to care, and when your glass was empty, nobody even bothered to look at you. You just sat there, ignored, wondering if anyone was even working there. Absolutely embarrassing for a brewery – never again!

I was very dissatisfied with my visit to this restaurant. We weren't greeted upon arrival and weren't served for quite some time. We were only able to order after asking several times. The food arrived late and tasted okay, but the portions were very small and, unfortunately, not worth the price. I left hungry, even though the bill was quite high. The service was also disappointing overall: empty plates sat on the table for a long time, and no one asked if we wanted anything else to drink. We were thirsty, but no one came by. It's a shame, because the restaurant actually has potential – but the service, attentiveness, and value for money were completely unacceptable to me. I hope things improve here in the future.

I've rarely experienced worse, more unmotivated, and less attentive service than here. We were there with a group of six. Drinks were always empty, and we had to actively refill them whenever someone came in and wanted to work. The price/performance ratio for the food was absolutely not right. The quality of the food is really good, but we were ALL still hungry after the meal, and that for just under €50 per person. It felt like 10 fries and 3 small strips of meat. The peppercorn sauce was more watery than water and wasn't served until halfway through the meal. Without a word of apology or anything else. They urgently need a change of staff here. There's definitely potential. But we will definitely NOT be back.

As for lunch, it was good. Nothing to add here. Just one of the very few places in this business area to have lunch.

I'm sorry - it's just designed for passing guests. The food is for nourishment, the drinks could be sold more if the service was more attentive, and the dessert was interesting. Sure, you can eat and drink worse in Cologne - but it can also be better.

The food was very good and the price was ok.

As an overnight guest you can save yourself the hassle of eating out in this hotel. Friendly staff, no waiting time, and you're served promptly. The bread that was served beforehand was homemade (and therefore very good) and delicious. Yes, unfortunately I thought I was going to start losing weight that evening, which is why I skipped the 300g rump steak with the asparagus. With a heavy heart I was rewarded though - the asparagus was the best asparagus ever. I would have also liked the Pinot, which was what was on offer by the water. I am very satisfied and would gladly come back. I forgot to take photos of the evening, but go there yourself, it's worth it.

Restaurant inside the Dorint, right in front of the fair. Excellent quality, possibility to eat on the balcony, in the bar next door, outside or inside in the hall. Fast service, excellent quality. I took two schnitzels with potatoes, really quality. Excellent Kolsche.

Good restaurant with high-quality food. The service is fast and good, but they speak High German instead of Kölsch ;) My conclusion: a very good hotel restaurant, reminiscent of a Kölsch brewery. I'd definitely go back!

Everything really good. Nice “Brauhaus” on the ground floor of a hotel. Very friendly and attentive service and delicious, well-prepared food. Only the price-performance ratio no longer seemed to suit us at €2.90 for a Sion Kölsch - although poured with love - and €17.50 for Himmel und Ääd. Still recommended!

Was closed at 12:15 even though it was supposed to be open!

I would happily recommend this brewery. For your information, it is probably a slightly more upscale brewery with great food.

I recently visited the Kölsche Braustube Düx and was absolutely thrilled! The food was simply delicious – from hearty Kölsch specialties to fresh, tasty side dishes. Of course, one or two freshly tapped Kölsch must not be missing, which went perfectly with the meal. The service was quick and friendly, making you feel welcome straight away. The location is particularly practical, right near the LANXESS Arena - ideal if you want to stop off quickly before an event. An all-round successful visit that I would be happy to repeat at any time! 😊

Food was delicious. The waitress was busy and wasn't present much.

The soup with seasonal mushrooms was delicious. The meat is also very good. Maybe the price is a little bit higher but in general terms everything is very good.

Limited menu and even then we didn't have everything. Manager grumpy and staff clearly bored. The food was quite nice.

Going to the gamescom show every year and always stop by this place for Wiener schnitzel which never disappoints ❤️

The food was above bar but the time of service is a bit slow. This could have been because we weren't the first in and the kitchen was not ready.

All in all it was good, the prices weren't cheap. A Sprite 0.2 liter €4.00 and not really anything for children on the menu. But otherwise it was delicious, at least what we ate.

Great steak menu, ordered a tomahawk (85€). Surprisingly, the meat almost came through steamed without any roasted aromas! Waiting time 45 minutes! More like a soup meat than a steak, especially the smell! My neighbor ordered a Tbone steak in the same price range, which was also only steamed. But at least it was medium rare! Shame about the money!

I stayed at the Dorint Hotel for 3 days as part of a conference. Since the days were very long, we decided to stop here several times in the evening and I can only say it was absolutely great! Above all, the staff was extremely friendly; we were served by a great waiter. He was a real brand, knew what we wanted after a short time, made great recommendations and was one of the reasons we kept coming back. On the first day we also ordered food, he recommended, among other things, the Deutzer plate and here too all I can say is that it was absolutely top class. For me one of the best hotel restaurants I've ever been to. If it were possible I would give significantly more stars, although the prices seem a bit high at first. But it's worth it, there's quality behind the dishes! 🍻

Dux, that was nothing. The reservation from lunchtime could no longer be found in the evening. We were then allowed to sit down at a table. I'm not in the mood for it at all. If I have something private to talk about, I don't want strangers listening and I don't like strangers around me either. Plus this baby beer for the price of a whole tankard, which will fill you up. The food is a bit more expensive than the internet said, it should be updated. Plus point for the delicious taste, it was good. Overall there was nothing that would lure me there again.

I was a guest there at the Dorint Hotel with a friend. We each drank a cappuccino. The waiter was an imposition. Flabby, inappropriate sayings. The cups were dirty and the cappuccino was very bitter. So unfortunately not a recommendation.

Reasonably priced for a hotel restaurant. Goulash was lovely. Price reflected the portion size. Perfect for a light meal. Staff friendly and attentive, but slightly understaffed, like most European restaurants. Beer and soda's were somewhat warm, but then again, never properly chilled in Europe😉

Reserved a table spontaneously and wasn't disappointed. Great team, with really courteous service! The food was delicious and the portions were completely sufficient. I can only recommend :)

Nice place with amazing meet. Here you could really enjoy amazing tasty Argentinian meet. Price are according to the food. Service is not the best, waiters do not no the menu and when you ask for the the side plate with a meet at 85€ they said: I don’t know 🤷🏻‍♂️. Could happen but at this price a minimum of knowledge is needed A good place anyway, face to the eissenwarenmesse

We had a booking here last Tuesday at 6:30pm. I couldn't find my email reservation to prove it. The staff were incredibly unhelpful. I explained the name(s) it would be under, the time and the number of people. Staff attitude terrible. We left to go somewhere else and I later found my booking confirmation in my email.

Nice ambience, bad service, and friendly, presumptuous cellar, my first and last visit

The service was attentive and very friendly. The first drink order was very quick, the second drink order had to be requested after 15 minutes. The waiting time was ok and the taste was perfectly fine. However, I would have expected more for the price. My personal conclusion: You can't go wrong here but it's not my first choice either.

After we had to wait quite a long time for our first beer, the waiter gave us a Kranz Kölsch (there were six of us). The store was pretty full and therefore a lot to do. The food took a while, but it was also very tasty. Price-performance ratio is okay in my opinion.

An einem Donnerstag um 18.00h da gewesen, Türe war auch geöffnet, wurde uns mitgeteilt das an dem Tag geschlossen wäre. Eine wie immer geartete Information im Internet oder gar an der Türe wäre hilfreich gewesen.

Es hängt am Dorinthotel mit dran. Eine sehr gelungene Gastronomie mit altem Charme. Eine super Bedienung ( echter kölscher jung) wusste nicht, daß es noch solche Keller gibt. Das half den Abend ein toll ausklingen zu lassen!

War OK. Ich habe zu meinem Besuch nur einen Tresen Platz angeboten bekommen, obwohl 80% der Tische frei waren. Es waren zwei Bedienungen anwesend, welche nur 6 Gäste bedienen mussten. Trotzdem habe ich mehrere Minuten auf die Karte und anschließend auf das Kölsch warten müssen. Das selbstegebraute Düx ist OK, aber kein Umweg wert. Ich empfehle vorher zu reservieren.

Essen recht hochpreisig aber sehr gut. Leider unfreundliche Bedienung die uns nach Ankunft unserer Gruppe ignoriert hat obwohl keine anderen Gäste da waren. . Erstes Getränk nach gut 30 min erst erhalten. Später hat eine andere Bedienung übernommen die netter war.

Das Essen war gut aber auch nicht mehr, Steaks auf dem Punkt gebraten. Aber der Service unterirdisch. Als Krönung war, das auf der Rechnung ein Gin Getränk mehr gebucht wurde, welches wir zwar bestellt haben, aber nie bekommen haben. Gabel Messer mußten wir uns selber holen weil falsch eingedeckt war. Wir kommen definitiv nicht nochmal.

Super Essen. Ganz nette Bedienungen. Nicht billig, aber dem Essen gerechtfertigt. Wenn wir mal wieder da sind, kommen wir gerne wieder.

Während der Anuga spontan von der Messe auf ein Geschäftsessen hier gelandet und auf ein Wieder Schnitzel gefreut. Kurz und knapp: Ein lauwarmes Schnitzel mit zusammen gefallender Panade erhalten. Mit den Preiselbeeren wurde so gespart, dass in dem kleinen Töpfchen gerade mal der Boden bedeckt war. Der Salat kam dann erst auf Nachfrage ohne jedwede Entschuldigung zum Ende des Essens. Sehr schade, da der Gastraum wirklich gemütlich ist. Nie wieder ...

Das komplette drumherum einfach super

Leider war der Service ganz schlecht, die Menükarten veraltet (sodass wir Speisen bestellen wollten, die es in der Winterkarte nicht mehr gab …) und das Essen nicht dem Preis entsprechend. Schade!

Bardzo nie polecam to miejsce. Wszystkie napoje z lodówki a ciepłe to tylko kawa i czerwone wino 😳. Mr Florian bo tak ma na imię osoba, która nas obsłużyła, absolutnie nie nadaje się do pracy z ludźmi. Po 30 min oczekiwania dotarły nasze zamówienia i to pomylone …. poprosiłam Pana Floriana podejść na chwile aby wyjaśnić pomyłkę a on podszedł dopiero po tym jak zjedliśmy a przechodził obok po 10 razy. Szkoda ze w tak miłym miejscu pracują tacy ludzie. Dodam ze burgery nie po 10 Eur a po 25. Nie polecam 👎 nigdy więcej

Ich schreibe sonst NIE schlechte Bewertungen aber meine Erfahrung hier war so unschön, dass ihr mir dieses Mal die Zeit nehme. Zuerst das Personal - für unseren Tisch von 10 Personen waren zwei Kellner verantwortlich. Der eine war unfassbar freundlich aber dafür leider sehr langsam (vermutlich neu). Zum Abrechnen von 5 Parteien a 2 Menschen haben wir circa 20 Minuten gewartet. Der andere (anscheinend der Chef oder Schichtleiter) war dafür an Unfreundlichkeit nicht zu überbieten. Ein frecher Spruch nach dem anderen, wir wurden beinahe genötigt noch mehr Bier zu kaufen und die Höhe war, als zwei Biere, die wir nicht bestellt hatten einfach trotzdem auf unserem Tisch abgestellt worden sind. Die Geschwindigkeit - 20 Minuten auf ein Bier gewartet und so ging es den gesamten Abend weiter. Hier bekamen wir von dem Unfreundlichen dann nach dreimaligem Nachfragen den Spruch "man muss halt mal geduldig sein". Unser Essen hatten wir nach mehr als einer Stunde noch immer nicht. Das Essen - die Qualität war okay bis gut aber für die aufgerufenen Preise war die Menge nichts als eine Frechheit. Das "Brathändl" sind zwei etwas größer geratene Chicken Nuggets für 16,90€. Die Burger sind trocken aber die Sauce gut. Das Schnitzel war in Ordnung ist mit 26-27€ für ein ganz normales Schnitzel aber auch wahnsinnig teuer. Auch das Bier ist übrigens ziemlich happig vom Preis her. Dazu kommen viele kleine Sachen: Auf jedem zweiten Menü fehlen Seiten Auf dem Online Menü stehen andere Gerichte als vor Ort Auf der Toilette fehlt das Klopapier Man wartet ewig, bis man platziert wird... Zur Atmosphäre lässt sich nicht viel sagen. Das Restaurant ist rustikal aber schön und gepflegt. Hier kommen wir auf jeden Fall nicht nochmal hin.

Slow service and the special burger was not great.

Das Ambiente war sehr schön, jedoch waren die Kellner nicht sehr freundlich und motiviert(was nach langen Tagen vorkommen kann aber selbstverständlich nicht sollte). Ebenso war das Essen semi gut, da der Burger ganz gut war aber die Pommesprodukte versalzt waren. A Burger mit einer sehr kleinen Portion 24€ und eine 0,2ml Softdrinks 3,80

Essen war eine Frechheit! Und der Preis die noch größere!! Viel zu teuer für die Portionen! Zwei kleine panierte Scheiben Hähnchen, a' ca 80 Gramm, und eine kleine Portion Kartoffelsalat für 16€. 0,75 l Wasser für 9,50€, Cola 0,2l für 3,80. Leider alles zu spät gesehen. Ambiente und Service retteten das Lokal auf 2 Sterne. Service ist viel wert, aber nicht alles Nicht, aber auch gar nicht zu empfehlen!

Wir hatten ein Wochenende in Köln und haben dort zu Abend gegessen. Ich hatte ein Wiener Schnitzel mit Bratkartoffeln, mein Mann einen Salatteller mit Hähnchenbrust. Das leckerste Schnitzel und super Bratkartoffeln. Mein Mann war auch begeistert vom Salat. Der Service super freundlich und auf Zack. Die Preis-Leistung sehr zu empfehlen.

Prima plek om even lekker te eten en te drinken. Keuze genoeg. Zeer vriendelijk en professioneel behandeld. Eten was prima en helemaal niet lang hoeven te wachten.

Der Service ist spitze und auch das Ambiente . Leider ist das Essen eher unterer Standard und konnte mich gar nicht überzeugen.

Die Braustune Düx gehört mit zum Dorint Hotel. Wir haben hier nur etwas getrunken, nachdem wir abends zurück ins Hotel sind. Sehr gemütliche Atmosphäre und nettes Personal.

Wir haben nach einer Veranstaltung in der Lanxess Arena, zu später Stunde, hier noch lecker gegessen! Bedienung war sehr freundlich, richtig flotter Service! Das Essen 🥘 war wirklich gut, die Portion sind für mich sehr groß! Preise haben auch gepasst. Es war ein guter Abschluss des Abends👍

Ich hatte heute die Ehre und das Vergnügen, hierher zum Mittagessen eingeladen worden zu sein. Die Braustube im Dorint-Hotel liegt direkt gegenüber der Koelnmesse. Das Angebot umfasst Kölsche Spezialitäten wie Himmel und Ääd, Reibekuchen oder die Deuzer Pfanne, aber auch eine Reihe von Steaks, Wiener Schnitzel, Salate, Suppen, Nudelgerichte und Süßspeisen. Auch Vegetarier werden fündig. Die Getränkekarte umfasst Sion Kölsch, andere Biere, Weine, Säfte und mehr. Wir saßen gut. Die Kellnerinnen wurden ihrer Aufgabe leider nicht gerecht: nach zehn Minuten Rückfrage: "Entrecote finde ich nicht auf der Karte". Keine Frage, wie das Steak zubereitet werden solle. Es dauerte eine Stunde, bis das Essen kam (allerdings für die ganze Gruppe recht zügig hintereinander), und nach den leeren Gläsern schaute in der Braustube auch niemand. Die Beilagen waren teils verwechselt. Und das Gespräch zur Bezahlung wurde ohne jede Diskretion geführt. Vielleicht bräuchte es zu Messezeiten mehr Kellner, sich sollten diese aber mit ihren Aufgaben und dem Angebot des Hauses vertraut sein.

Sehr gute Küche. Großzügige Portionen. Personal freundlich und bemüht aber überfordert.

Essen war einfach nicht lecker. Ein Essen wurde vergessen. Es gab auch nur eine Snackkarte. Kellner waren echt nicht auf Zack. Allen im allen, brauchste da nicht hingehen.

Gast: hier gibt es Mäuse. Kellner: ich weiß.

The menu was a bit uninspiring. I wasn't too impressed. The dinner staff was nice but lunch service was slow and the server on duty didn't seem to speak English.

Bauernteller bestellt und das ganze war nicht genießbar, Bratkartoffeln waren dies nicht, höchstens mal ne Minute in der Pfanne geschwenkt, das Spiegelei war angebrant und alles kalt. Das einzige was man genießen konnte war die kleine Ecke Salat, aber sehr sparsam mit dem Dressing. Aus Respekt versucht denn Teller zu leeren, aber nicht weil es Schmeckte.
