There may be a great view, but unfortunately the food is just average. The food isn't tasty. It's boring, dry, and skillful. That doesn't justify the prices either. What a shame.

There were eight of us registered, and we left after three hours feeling very satisfied and full. The food was delicious, the service was attentive and friendly, and the view of Cologne's old town was spectacular.

We were in Cologne today with a small group, and when you're out and about a lot, you get hungry. We actually came across this restaurant by chance, but it was a real stroke of luck. Very good food and, for Cologne, very good prices. We enjoyed the meal on the terrace with a wonderful view of the Rhine, the cathedral, and the railway bridge. Very friendly service, good food, and a lovely atmosphere. I can only recommend that you take a short walk to the other side of the Rhine and enjoy your meal there before squeezing yourself together in the streets around the cathedral with their rather musty air.

Nice restaurant in itself, but the service was really at its limit on a Sunday evening. Everything seemed rushed, the food was served quickly and carelessly. The waiter then tried to "adjust" my order because the person sitting opposite me had a similar order, and supposedly they could combine both grill plates into one large grill plate. Double the price, but not the same amount as if everyone ordered individually. A lot of money for rather meager portions of meat and cold side dishes of rice. The salad was a disaster. Plus, they were sold out of lemons (?). Maybe it's a personal preference, but for me, grilled souvlaki definitely needs lemon juice. But hey, if you want a nice view of the cathedral and the Rhine, you can pay a lot of money for the view, nothing more.

A very nice restaurant with a great view of the cathedral. I can't fully understand the reviews. The food was very good and fresh. Our server was friendly and asked for drinks frequently. His suggestion of two appetizer plates for 12 people was not excessive and went well with our chosen main courses. I'd be happy to come back.

The waiter is unfriendly towards the employees. And it wasn't okay with me! Never again !!!! Does the menu say… gratinated or salad or starters etc. unfortunately it doesn’t say that!! I had ordered a vegetarian meal and then was disappointed with a casserole with minced meat in it, didn't expect it! Like the whole menu! It didn't taste good at all, it's over, unfortunately I got a stomach ache! I think it's a shame! The man is unfriendly, has a cold heart... well, I feel discriminatory.

We have been there several times since 2019. The last visit was such a disappointment that we probably won't eat there again, or at least we won't use the brunch buffet anymore. Reasons: -except for the suzukaika (meatballs) and the desserts, all the other dishes I tried (gyros, salmon, chicken skewers, trarmas, tzatziki, potatoes, fries,...) tasted bland. - except for the waiter we knew (Greek), ALL the other waiters walked through the restaurant with a serious expression (I wouldn't normally give a star for that, only because of the dedicated waiter it gets two stars!) - the waiter in question tried very hard, but he sometimes had to take orders alone - The skills of the other waiters were inadequate) tables were constantly mixed up, drinks were placed in the wrong places, although clearly communicated and shown. - the other waiters spoke Arabic among themselves and were hardly able to communicate with the guests at the table in German... I didn't feel welcome there, quite the opposite. The waiters sometimes looked around the shop with a noticeable arrogance that doesn't belong in a restaurant like this. As a Greek, it was doubly unfortunate that the dishes didn't taste as usual. It's a shame... I didn't recognize the Oasis as I had perceived it before...

No. Nothing eaten because the waiting time was 2 hours despite a reservation

We were at the Oasis a few days ago. The only good thing is the view of Cologne's old town. Food was below average, the gyros had way too much fat. Then our waiter was so grumpy and not attentive... crazy. When paying we had to check everything carefully. First the waiter tried to "forget" one of two vouchers, then there was a discussion because "suddenly" card payment was not possible. Then, after a clear speech, it suddenly happened. Would you have preferred cash, why? Sorry, but I imagine it to be cozy and well looked after. That would have the character of a canteen. That was the last time, what a shame!

Great Greek restaurant with a great view! Prices therefore slightly higher than normal. Dishes from the lunch/day menu are great value for money!

We had to clear away some of the empty plates ourselves and were not asked if we would like to drink anything else besides the water we had ordered at the very beginning. For every thing we wanted to order, we had to wait for what felt like an eternity until a waiter noticed us. After paying, the waiter complained to one of our guests that we hadn't tipped enough. I think that's extreme impudence.

From the bright side, the place has nice view on old town with the river. That's basically all. Greek restaurant without any touch of Greece of the interior and atmosphere. Service either talking with rude tone or didn't talk at all. And we had to call them several time, because we were ignored. Meals were okish, but grilled plate was quite salty with no other flavors. At least we got salat to soften the taste (was good). Unfortunately, I am more in favor of negative reviews for this place.

wir,4 Pers. waren hier zweimal, das Erste mal und das letzte Mal, Leber war nicht zu genießen, auf unsere Beschwerde bekamen wir die Antwort "ist immer so" eine Scheibe Leber war total versalzen, die andere war matschig weich, die mitgelieferten Zwiebeln waren gut, Fritten waren ok, Salat war ok, das Fleisch auf mein Grillteller war total trocken viel zu lange in der Pfanne.

So the food here isn't really good... Average standard Greek. What's nice is the location and the fact that you have a view of the Rhine outside. Service is also rather poor. Half of it was missing from my plate and I had to ask three times before it was corrected. Salad completely tasteless, meat okay, side dishes cold. We won't come back. Anyone who thinks that you can eat really well here has never eaten really well…

⚠️⚠️ Tourists ⚠️⚠️ TRAP ⚠️⚠️ No cozy dinner possible. The waiters are completely overwhelmed and unfriendly, we didn't feel welcome or well served here. After almost an hour of waiting, the food was ready to be enjoyed with fried sauce (in my opinion) and without drinks. Simply a disaster…..The view is great, otherwise nothing. Here it is the mass that counts, not the class.

Food came after 1:30h and was cold

I was there on Saturday to enjoy the sun with a coffee on the terrace, but the visit was a disappointment. What was particularly shocking was the outrageous way in which guests were treated. Several times, guests who were already seated were asked to leave the place on the grounds that everything was supposedly full - even though the terrace was half empty. The treatment of the guests was unacceptable, I have never experienced anything like that. This unfriendly atmosphere was very unpleasant. It's a real shame that the service at this great location on the Rhine is so disappointing. Because of the rude waiter and poor service we will definitely not come back.

The ambience looks very good, the side salad is very poor. I would have liked a cucumber, tomato and carrot with it, it was just a few lettuce leaves with onions. The steak was very good 👍🏼

A real piece of Greece in the middle of the city! As soon as you enter you are warmly welcomed and the cozy, Mediterranean atmosphere immediately invites you to linger. The furnishings are tasteful - not kitschy, but with loving details that are reminiscent of a vacation in Greece. The menu offers a great selection of classic Greek dishes - from moussaka to grilled to fresh fish. I chose the calamari and it was outstanding! The service was extremely friendly and attentive without being intrusive. You can tell that people work here with real passion. Conclusion: If you want to enjoy authentic Greek cuisine in Cologne, this is the right place for you. I'll definitely be back! As already promised on site!

Relaxed buffet atmosphere, because two courses (cold and then warm) are presented at brunch. That means most of the tables are occupied anyway. This creates a quiet breakfast. No rush. The buffet is constantly refilled and the employees are very attentive to empty plates. Plus the beautiful view towards the cathedral and the Rhine. It makes you warm.

We had a nice seat by the window and could enjoy the panorama. The food and service were very good. We'd love to come back. A small drawback for tomorrow's guests is the play area, which is unfortunately not well equipped and playable. Feeling good also means that the little guests feel comfortable with you. If the children are doing well, the parents are also doing well and they will be happy to come back.

A great restaurant. Whenever I'm in Cologne I plan a visit. First of all, the view of the cathedral and the Rhine is great and the food is incredibly delicious. The service perfect. Also ideal for small babies. Changing options and a play corner are all there.

Nice staff and a nice view of the Rhine. However, I had to wait a very long time - in my case about 70 minutes after ordering. The tables are too close together and the prices are rather high, even for Cologne. The food was average. Conclusion: I probably won't go again.

Die Reservierung funktionierte problemlos. Der Empfang war freundlich. Die Getränkebestellungen wurden schnell aufgenommen und gebracht. Ebenso funktionierte es bei den Vorspeisen. Diese kamen extrem schnell. Danach kamen die Beilagensalate, leider wurden diese mit einem dicken Dressing überzogen. Da wäre mir Essig und Öl zusammen mit ein paar leckeren Kräutern lieber gewesen. Die Hauptspeisen kamen für alle Personen gleichzeitig soweit das möglich war. Mehrere Kellner waren daran beteiligt. Die Portionen waren ausreichend groß, jedoch zahlt man beim Preis die Aussicht mit. Geschmacklich war das Essen in Ordnung. Was mir nicht gefallen hat war ein großer Teil des Personals. Dieses wirkte teilweise unfreundlich. Die dunkle Kleidung des Personals wirkte in der Masse ebenfalls unfreundlich. Die Sprachkenntnisse mancher Kellner waren begrenzt. Der Laden ist sehr groß und wirkt deshalb in manchen Bereichen unpersönlich. An einem engen Durchgang wurde eine Garderobe angebracht. Ständig rannten die Kellner mit vollen Tellern und abgeräumten Geschirr an der dort hängenden Kleidung vorbei. Da blieb vermutlich der ein oder andere Fleck zurück. Fazit: Durchschnittliches Restaurant ohne gefühlte griechische Gastfreundschaft.

The food was a complete disaster! There was no dressing in the salad and there was no Metaxer sauce in the Metaxgyros. We spoke to the waiters and were told that's just the way it is... The staff was very unfriendly, unprofessional and very sleazy. My biggest criticism is that the “waiter” smelled like old sweat. It was extremely unpleasant and I was happy when we were able to leave the restaurant!

Everything OK. Typical Greek as it has been known since the 1980s/90s. Solid and tasty but without sophistication.

We have been to the Oasis Restaurant several times and are thrilled every time! The food is absolutely delicious, always fresh and prepared with love. The staff is incredibly friendly, attentive and always ensures that you feel completely at home - simply top service! The atmosphere is particularly impressive: sitting directly on the Rhine with a view of Cologne Cathedral makes a visit here a real experience. We can only warmly recommend the Oasis Restaurant and would be happy to come back at any time. A place not to be missed in Cologne!

There's no need to talk too much about the fantastic location! The service is attentive, as is the boss with his wonderful, very unique Greek style. The food was excellent - we had the excellent braised leg of lamb. Tender meat that almost fell off the bone in a spicy, well-seasoned sauce. Plus fried potato slices with garlic and tzatziki. A dream. The price of €22 is also really reasonable. The side salad is the green boredom that is everywhere and unfortunately not worth mentioning - iceberg lettuce, tomato, onion, grated carrots and a yogurt dressing. They could have used a little more Greek pizzazz here or simply left it out. Still, no deduction for that. The baked zucchini and aubergines weren't all that great after being in the deep fryer for too long, unfortunately - more care should have been taken here. But together with the really good tzatziki it still tasted okay. A good Greek coffee afterwards is highly recommended, and at the end there was an ouzo on the house. We were very satisfied and will of course come back for the good leg of lamb!

If you want to have breakfast at Sunday brunch, you should be there shortly after 10. After 12 there is almost no breakfast.

A surprisingly good restaurant! The Greek yogurt dessert was to die for! The view of the cathedral is ideal.

Was here at lunchtime and had the gyros bowl. It has a very good price-performance ratio as a lunch menu and the portion size is plenty for lunch. The service was quite quick, but there were only a few guests there at lunchtime. The view of the cathedral is also very beautiful.

The food was OK, but it can't be that you're still eating and the plates of the others sitting at the table are already being cleared away. Looks like you want to say give rubber with food, we need the table.

IMPORTANT!!! Ask for a receipt, they try to deduct more through “old prices” that are everywhere and then they claim, “yes, those are old prices”. The waffle costs €10.1 instead of €7, even though there is a large board with the “old prices” right at the entrance. No view of these “new prices” The overall poor rating is more than justified. Nice view, but that was it. Don't get ripped off!!
