A wonderful place to be pampered on all levels. Service is very important here and is really lived by the employees. Extremely friendly and accommodating and not intrusive at all, but attentive to the point. The ambience is absolutely appropriate, very tastefully decorated and cozy, but at the same time very modern and stylish. The highlight of our stay was eating. Such perfectly prepared dishes, seasoned and seasoned to perfection, portions that are not too large, a real treat for all the senses! We'd love to come back. For us the visit was very spontaneous and we were still able to get a cozy place to spend an unforgettable evening for two! THANKS!!!

The service employees get 5* and the quality of the food 4*, the boss only gets 1* because unfortunately she is absolutely incapable of criticism and is also slightly snotty. Unfortunately, neither of the men got full, but the portion was big enough for me as a woman. The quality of the food was good.

We celebrated our wedding at Café Mittendrin, and the name really says it all! From the first moment we received a warm and familiar welcome - we were immediately in the middle of things and felt wonderfully looked after. The entire organization ran absolutely smoothly, from communication to decoration and food to catering and the entire celebration. Steffi supported us fantastically in everything and played a key role in making our wedding day so unforgettable. Thanks to her and the Café Mittendrin team, we really had the best day of our lives and couldn't imagine a better place for our celebration. We were looking for a nice, classic, German dinner and found Heidekrug in Hanstedt. It is the typical inn in the country. Traditionally furnished, with a consistently German menu. The reception and service were very friendly. The service was quick without giving the feeling of being rushed, even though it was busy on the weekend. As a starter we had onion soup, nicely gratinated with cheese and strong in taste. The main course was the daily recommendation of duck and the roulades. Both perfect. The duck was tender and juicy, as were the roulades but without being overcooked. The side dishes were also convincing. Finally fried potatoes that are crispy!!! For dessert we had the red jelly. Not too sweet but wonderfully fruity. An absolute recommendation

Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio did not meet expectations as the quality offered was disproportionate to the price. The service also left a lot to be desired: the employees seemed inattentive. Overall, the visit did not meet our expectations. Even before the waitress came to us, we (3 staff; actually reserved for 2) wanted to sit at a table for four. However, she informed us that we should sit at another table for four. She then gave the table to a couple who were just the two of them. This decision was absolutely incomprehensible to us. Therefore, unfortunately not worth another visit..
