The sushi was always very tasty and the peanut noodles/curry dishes were also always delicious. I think it's a shame that the restaurant is closed and would also like to know when/if it will open again
Were there for Christmas dinner. Chic restaurant. Very nice service. But unfortunately the buffet didn't suit us because we don't like queuing. Especially if you go there with older people. I would have arranged the layout of the tables at the buffet differently. From the food you could tell that not everything was homemade. Croquettes from the freezer... fries rather bad. Brussels sprouts and beans too cold. The plate arrangement is not ideal.
And then the price...we paid 240 euros for 3 people. That was clearly too much.
But Dorfkrug no longer exists.
Merry Christmas🎄
We were there on a Friday evening with four adults and four children. It was our first evening in Emden and, given the circumstances, the best choice for food and a few cocktails. The kids had everything. The delicious fries and chicken sticks were their highlights. We had three different burgers and a herring patty. The fish crowd was really impressed and the vegetarian was very happy with the burger with mushroom patty. The other two burger creations were also really good. The cocktails were great and we all had a really lovely evening. The value for money really is absolutely top-notch!!! Truly fantastic. I would definitely recommend it.
Looks good but unfortunately that's about it. It's like a simple chip shop, except you can sit nicely. Burger for €5 is way too small and nothing special at all, just a chip shop. There were dishes on the bill that we didn't receive. Even after the second visit we were disappointed again! What a shame!
It's a small pub.
If you're a larger group, you should make a reservation.
In winter, there are two heated outdoor areas.
In summer, there are a few tables outside.
There's a small menu, and the food is very good and served quickly.
I can recommend the salad, pizza, and pasta.
Only cash payments are accepted.
