First time here and we're thrilled. We had burgers and schnitzel, along with two dark beers, followed by coffee and espresso. Everything was great. This won't be our last visit.

We were there last night, and as always, the place was very busy. So, of course, we had a reservation and got a nice spot by the fire. The waiters were in a really good mood, as always, and it's just a great pleasure to eat there. The selection is also very good, and the prices are simply too reasonable, if we're being honest. I can only recommend the diner; you simply have to visit it at least once.

I can really recommend it. The food, drinks, and service are good. Prices are also reasonable. The only thing missing, as is unfortunately the case with almost all the others, is breakfast.

We've been there several times with our children (4 and 8 years old) and always feel very comfortable there. They offer small burgers for the kids as well as large, juicy burgers for the adults – and the meat outside of the burgers is also really good. The beer tastes particularly fresh and well-rounded, perfect with the food. A relaxed atmosphere, friendly service, and delicious food – we'd definitely be back!

Recommendation is out. Whatever we had on the table was a culinary delight. Baked potato, currywurst, schnitzel with sweet potatoes and coleslaw, and a burger that overshadowed everything I've eaten in Hamburg: the Tornado Burger.

Very friendly staff and a location with plenty of space, suitable for large parties. Unfortunately, the food is disappointing. It tastes like convenience foods, and unfortunately, not even good ones. I had a veggie burger, and they have such good patties (Beyond Meet, for example), so I still don't understand what they're supposed to be on them. The burger buns are terribly dry and not even toasted on the inside, as is usual. The sauce for the chili cheese fries was obviously also purchased, just like burger sauces, etc. Not even the expensive iced tea tasted homemade. I don't expect anyone here to hand-carve the fries every day. I think it's perfectly acceptable for this type of diner to use some convenience foods. But then they should be high-quality. What reason do I have as a customer to eat there for €20 when I can get the same thing better at Burger King for half the price? And I say that even though Burger King is still light years away from a truly good burger. It's really no big deal to make a great burger. Please, if you absolutely must, because, for example, a good chef isn't available, at least use good ready-made products. If I'm mistaken and not everything on my plate was frozen, then the chef should seriously consider changing jobs. From a human perspective, everything was really great. But from a culinary perspective, it didn't meet my expectations, just like it didn't meet the expectations of others that evening.

Super delicious burgers and very friendly staff. If the restaurant weren't so far away, they would have gained a regular customer. We stopped here for dinner after a three-hour drive and managed to get a table for four at very short notice.

A very nice restaurant. We sat outside, and it was lovely to have a shady spot in such a hot day. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. Every question was taken care of and answered. The service was simply fantastic. We could joke and chat with each other and even make a small bet. A relaxed atmosphere, just what I was looking for in this restaurant. We went to a prom yesterday at the Stadthalle where the food came from Don's Diner, a complete disaster and not at all tasty! For €25 per person, we got dry chicken breast fillet, rice, and mac and cheese, where the noodles were way too soft. They ran out of cutlery, so we had to wait for the staff to get more, and what did they come up with? Plastic cutlery. Knowing how many people are registered, I have enough cutlery with me. The drinks were all way too warm! I can only advise against it.

They have very good burgers and friendly service. The restrooms are very clean.

Excellent service. The tomato, basil, and cream soup was delicious. The Argentinian steak was super tender and cooked to the exact temperature I ordered. Being an American-style restaurant, they don't have a wide selection of wines, but the German red they serve is very good. We'll be back! 🇩🇪❤️✨️

We spontaneously visited Don's Diner on a Monday evening and were thrilled. The restaurant was very busy for a Monday evening. The staff is very attentive and friendly, and offers excellent service. The food and drinks menu offers something for everyone, and the value for money is very good. The food was very good. We would definitely recommend it.

We spontaneously visited the restaurant on Saturday evening. The restaurant was busy, but even without a reservation we were able to get a seat for two people straight away. The store is furnished in a rustic American style. The staff was very friendly and always attentive. The drink order was taken quickly and we were also able to order the food quickly. The wait for food was about 20 minutes, I didn't look at the clock. I ate a mac'n'cheese burger with chili cheese fries. Both very tasty, and the portion was absolutely sufficient. The only point of criticism for me was the mac'n'cheese patty, I would have imagined it to be a little juicier or cheesier. But otherwise everything was great, great shop. Price performance is right, we would like to come back.

The entrance area is quite nice, but the adjacent room is more like a clubhouse. I can't judge the burgers. The fries with cheese are not potato wedges, just fries with cheese. Far too expensive for that.

I had the heart attack burger, which was also delicious and the quantity was more than enough. Mini minus point, there are quite a lot of ingredients on the Heartatackburger, but they somehow get lost and you can't taste them. A classic cheeseburger would have been just as good.
