Don's Diner in Northeim

The best burgers not only in the region, but in Germany. I've been coming here for years and will continue to do so until I reach a retirement home. No matter who serves you here, they're always respectful and friendly. Great staff, great boss. Always happy to come back.

This was our first time here. We haven't found such a nice, cozy restaurant in a long time. The staff was super friendly, and the food was also delicious. We'll definitely be back.

We spontaneously visited Don's Diner on a Monday evening and were thrilled. The restaurant was very busy for a Monday evening. The staff is very attentive and friendly, and offers excellent service. The food and drinks menu offers something for everyone, and the value for money is very good. The food was very good. We would definitely recommend it.

The food was great as always, the fries were crispy, not too much salt (and without that nasty red spice), the burgers were fantastic as always. Even our little dog got water and treats straight away...super!!!!!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We spontaneously visited the restaurant on Saturday evening. The restaurant was busy, but even without a reservation we were able to get a seat for two people straight away. The store is furnished in a rustic American style. The staff was very friendly and always attentive. The drink order was taken quickly and we were also able to order the food quickly. The wait for food was about 20 minutes, I didn't look at the clock. I ate a mac'n'cheese burger with chili cheese fries. Both very tasty, and the portion was absolutely sufficient. The only point of criticism for me was the mac'n'cheese patty, I would have imagined it to be a little juicier or cheesier. But otherwise everything was great, great shop. Price performance is right, we would like to come back.

Simply a top diner, we were there for the first time today. Friendly staff, great food and really fair prices and there is something to discover in every corner 😉 plus good music, unique. We'll definitely go there again.

Don's is always worth a visit. We like to eat burgers here. You should definitely make a reservation on the weekend as it is always very crowded here.

Fantastic!100 stars. Very friendly and very nice staff. The decorations are beautiful. I want my home office like this. We ordered a steak with potatoes. Potatoes are delicious, never eaten so well. The perfect steak cooking! I ordered a "Heart Attack" burger, it was something magical. . 🤪🤪 The potato croquettes are delicious. We would love to come back. They accept dogs. We were there last night and, as always, the restaurant was very busy. So of course we made a reservation and got a nice place by the oven. As always, the service staff were in a really good mood and it was just a lot of fun to eat there. The selection is also very good and the prices are just way too cheap if you're honest. I can only recommend the diner, you simply have to visit it.

The entrance area is quite nice, but the adjacent room is more like a clubhouse. I can't judge the burgers. The fries with cheese are not potato wedges, just fries with cheese. Far too expensive for that.

We took a break here. Off the highway and a short walk to the diner. A very nice service. The food was really tasty and so was the dessert. Price performance was great. We'll definitely come back when we head north again. 😃

The service was great, nice and quick. The food was also very tasty, the sweet potato fries were excellent, as was the dip. I had the heart attack burger, which was also delicious and the quantity was more than enough. Mini minus point, there are quite a lot of ingredients on the Heartatackburger, but they somehow get lost and you can't taste them. A classic cheeseburger would have been just as good.

We spontaneously ended up here while traveling north. We felt very comfortable thanks to the nice employee with the full beard. Very friendly and nice to see how much he enjoys doing his job 👍 We'll be back in April as promised 😀 Another plus point is that dogs are very welcome here.

Really pleasant and relaxed here. The burgers were very unusual and tasty. I tasted the quality of the meat. In addition, the menu is full of delicacies, I usually have little problem deciding between 1 or 2 dishes, but in Don's Diner the decision was really difficult for me! Homemade pasta, homemade lemonade, fantastic burgers and much more... I'm really looking forward to my next visit.

Ended up in Don’s Diner by chance on the way home from Hamburg. Super nice service, large portions and very tasty food. Four men drove on happy and full. Happy to come back!

We were there recently with about 10 people. The usual local order was served. I had a Dons burger with fried potatoes, they were really tasty. The prices seem to have gone up a bit. Well, anyway, everyone in our group obviously enjoyed it, so nothing stands in the way of a next visit.

Very nice staff. I would particularly like to emphasize the dog-friendliness. Despite my pack of three, we were warmly welcomed and the dogs were immediately provided with water and snacks. Of course we humans do too. 😊 Delicious food, great American flair and reasonable prices! We'll be back!

Went here spontaneously for dinner. At first when we arrived at the restaurant it looked like everything was fully booked, but the nice staff gave us a place in the winter garden, which was totally fine. As I said, the staff was very nice and the friendliness was really great, which is unfortunately rare these days, but it still seemed like they were generally a bit overwhelmed. The waiting times were very long and we had to keep asking where the drinks were and what the food was made of etc., which caused a bit of confusion. The burgers were really great, but unfortunately it didn't blow us away. So all in all it wasn't bad, but unfortunately we wouldn't go there again.

After a long time I was here again for dinner. There was also a new menu and I was hoping that the food would be better for me. But somehow it doesn't suit me. I think that's a shame.
