Perfectly cooked to perfection, wonderfully aromatic, and accompanied by a tender schnitzel that was crispy on the outside and wonderfully juicy on the inside. Plus classic side dishes, lovingly presented – down-to-earth, but with quality and flavor. The menu may be rather small, but that definitely speaks for its freshness and careful selection. Everything on offer is consistently well-made, and you can tell that the cooking here is done with love. In conclusion: Runas Laube is a true gem, ideal for connoisseurs who value good food and a personal atmosphere. Whether you're a camper or a day visitor – a visit is always worthwhile. And the Northeim campsite? An absolute insider tip – quiet, idyllically located and the perfect place to unwind.

Good atmosphere and the price is right

Recently, on the occasion of my birthday, I attended the Sunday breakfast buffet with 21 people. In the preliminary conversation I was told the price was €24.90 per person, which I accepted and associated with corresponding expectations regarding the selection and quality of the buffet. Unfortunately, the price had no relation to the food on offer: little selection, cheese and sausage of mediocre quality, and the eggs offered on the counter were already cold. Neither fruit nor yogurt were on offer. I was particularly annoyed when I discovered that the "normal" price for the breakfast buffet was listed on the menu as €17.50 - no one had pointed out the hefty surcharge of €7.00 per person during the preliminary conversation. When I asked, this surcharge was justified by the "higher personnel costs" due to the different time I requested from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. ("normal" breakfast time 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.). A flimsy justification, because it was exclusively self-service, and even the birthday table wasn't set. I call this a rip-off or a very bad price-performance ratio - once and never again! Serious business conduct is different!

Delicious food and great views, absolutely recommended

Really great for a campsite. We were spontaneously there just to eat while we were passing through. Schnitzel top. And the dessert was really great. Baked apple rings on ice cream

Until yesterday I would have given 5 stars for the service and overall rating. But I have to revise that. We had reserved a table for a large number of people to eat asparagus in the evening on May 15th. This was confirmed to us again on our last visit on Ascension Day. Now I assume that telephone numbers are also noted with the reservations in the restaurant. None!!! The short-term closure of “Runas Laube” due to a lack of staff would have caught us off guard tomorrow evening. We would have been standing in front of closed doors with our group if one of the participants hadn't accidentally come across a notice about the closure on Facebook. This is how you can ruin a birthday dinner!

Schöner Campingplatz mit sehr guten Essen. Das Frühstück war sehr gut mit Brötchen vom Becker. Das Personal war sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Alles in allem war es sehr schön.

Weinberg-Fest 2023 - viel los, tolle Stimmung! Leider hat die Organisation beim Grill überhaupt nicht geklappt, aber sonst war es sehr schön!

Wir waren zufrieden mit dem Kaffee und Kuchen. Besonders gefallen hat uns der Ausblick und die entspannte Atmosphäre ✅

Wow, was für eine Aussicht von der sonnengeschützten Terrasse über den Northeimer Freizeitsee. Tolles Personal, jeder Wunsch wird erfüllt, Freundlichkeit und Fachwissen ist groß geschrieben. Sauberkeit und " hygge" findet man hier. Leider ist es keiin Geheimtip mehr. Die Zeit beim Sonntagsbrunch ist wie im Flug vergangen. Wir waren sicher nicht das letzte mal an diesem " Lieblingsplatz"

Für Northeim einzigartiges Gartenlokal am Campingplatz mit großartiger Aussicht auf den Freizeitsee. Sehr leckere Hausmannskost, alles frisch! Und diese selbstgemachten Bratkartoffeln,....mmmh

Schöne Aussicht mit überdurchschnittlich gutem Essen und Excelentem Personal. Tiere und Kinder sind hier willkommen.

Ich bin mit meiner besten Freundin eher zufällig dort gelandet ohne Camper zu sein, auf der Suche im Grünen in Autobahnnähe eine Kleinigkeit zu essen wo man aber auch draußen sitzen kann. Wir waren total überrascht ein so schönes kleines freundliches und auch noch sehr gutes Restaurant auf dem süßen Campingplatz gefunden zu haben!! Man konnte wundervoll draußen auf der Terrasse sitzen unter schattigen Bäumen und hatte eine mega Aussicht über die Kiesseen, da man ganz oben am Berg war. Einfach toll!! Und Krönung war dann das super super gute Essen! Auf Sonderwünsche wurde total flexibel eingegangen und Vegetarier kommen gut auf ihre Kosten, auch das Schnitzel war super lecker!! Und alles nett zurecht gemacht. Ach und natürlich der sehr freundliche Kellner. Rundum jegliche Erwartungen übertroffen bei uns!!

Geheimtipp, wirklich nett gelegen - gute Sicht auf den Großen See bei Northeim. Essen wirklich super, lange kein so gutes Schnitzel mehr gegessen. Bratkartoffeln die ihren Namen verdienen.

Durch Zufall auf Durchreise Halt gemacht. Und was soll ich sagen, total begeistert. Freundlich, schnell, schön eingerichtet und super lecker. Wirklich toll.

Spargel perfekt geschält. Auf den Punkt gekocht. Schnitzel zart und lecker. Super freundliche Bedienung. Gerne wieder. 👍
